hm ok so for a while i was thinking that Wally, for the most part, only perceives reality as "Home", the neighborhood. that's his entire world, it's all he knows

but then i slapped myself and went wait. the Live Interview. Wally has been outside of Home, and has interacted with humans (presuming that the interview did actually happen, of course). and through Wally's interactions - or rather, attempt at interactions with Us, the QA, and the WHRP, it can be strongly assumed that he knows that there's an Elsewhere. there are places outside of Home. maybe he doesn't quite understand that there's another reality of sorts, but there's no way he's unaware that there's more than just the neighborhood out there

(and then of course there's the fact that Clown has said that humans are deeply involved (not a direct quote, im paraphrasing) in Welcome Home. maybe Wally interacted with them / regularly interacted with them. there could have been an adjustment period after he gained consciousness where humans helped him learn how to walk/talk/fine motor skills - this could be why he has such a seemingly inherent / desperate trust in Us & the WHRP & the QA... humans made him and cared for him. it's possible he could view them as a sort of higher power to trust & have faith in

& maybe he's been off-set or could go off-set. i mean, the houses' rooms were all different sets - the buildings themselves were empty husks, right? who's to say Wally wouldn't physically walk to the individual set pieces whenever he went over to someone's house (but then that leads me into speculation on how the puppets' consciousness works and how multiple copies of them could co-exist and wondering which is the - im getting off track. but there's all of that and then the two part "you're okay!" art pieces of Wally & Eddie, which are technically canon - dont quote me on that - and that's Another ramble/theory post i could go on about & have strong feelings on. Anyway!)

"but wait," i hear someone protest, "what about Barnaby? he was in the Live Interview too"

but was he? was he really? was that Barnaby, or was that a person in a suit playing the character Barnaby B. Beagle? i mean, if it was Barnaby, there had to be some memory fuckery going on that prevented him from either fully comprehending/realizing the situation, or just made him forget as soon as it was over.

and actually wait, Wally has to be aware of the reality discrepancy. because it was certainly him in the Interview as himself. He had to have understood on some level that either that wasn't really Barnaby, or that Barnaby wouldn't remember the interview.

(there's a connection in my head between all of this & how he would view an apple pie. "it isn't the same anymore. something's different". but i can't pin it down for the life of me.)

and with the Talking Telephone calls, Wally explicitly tells Us that he's not going to tell anyone who was behind the calls. i remember listening to the "original" prank call audio tests, which while were very similar to the canon in-website ones, have a few changes. one of which was Wally - in the tests - saying that the others weren't ready to meet Us yet. now in canon that tidbit has been swapped out for "You have to go too. You have work to do" but i think it's still implied through Wally's purposeful withholding-of-information that he doesn't think the others are ready to know. or he straight up doesn't want them to know

i mean, one little theory i previously had is that Wally wants them all to catch on to the nature of their reality and situation, but he doesn't want to - or Can't - tell them outright. they have to figure it out. and that can't was either something keeping him quiet, or because if they learned too soon / inorganically, their little puppet heads would pop into confetti like Red Guy's in dhmis 4

However my views have Changed and i'm pretty sure Wally is purposefully not telling anyone to maintain the illusion that everything is fine and can continue on as it always has. maybe it comes from a place of protectiveness, of love? whatever the motive i think he wants them all to keep being unaware and dare i say, Complacent while he "fixes" their situation.

which is delusional, but we all know Wally is digging his metaphorical claws into a desperate bid to keep everything the same / return it to its original state, leaving bloody scratches in something already rotted. or something like that!

all this to say i think it's interesting how it seems that he's the only one aware of humans / an outside/other world, yet he's so determined to stay in his lane. he wants connection & communication yet he doesn't want to leave or change. he wants help in keeping things the same (some could say in keeping Our reality & his separated) but in the process he's dooming everyone/everything and tearing down those walls himself

(Wally: i'm going to stay where i am, and you're gonna stay where you are, and we're gonna help each other keep me and my friends where we're meant to be. anyway i wonder what this sledgehammer does)

you guys both start your morning kind of early, like 8:30 or 8:00

he’s usually the first one to wake up and like this might sound a bit corny but he just looks at you while you sleep

BYE THAT SOYNDS WEIRD BUT JTS SO SWEET

he’ll like caress his hand on your cheek, if your drooling well best believe he’s gonna wipe that shit right up

then he’s gonna get up and get you both some water cause why start the day dehydrated he says

so at this point if your a light sleeper you might be up already but if your a deep sleeper or like you just didn’t wake up yet then he’s gonna wake you up in the most sweetest way possible

he will kiss your knuckles and up your arm to your jaw, and he won’t won’t stop till you wake up

when you do wake up he’ll encourage you to drink your water and you’re still confused cause you just woke up

he’ll ask you how you slept, how do you feel, what do you want to do that day

but you don’t really respond much cause your tired but he likes watching you in your tired state, it’s cute

at this time you guys have just gotten up and out of bed and started getting ready for your little walk in the park

you guys take a shower together, brush your teeth together, he watches you put on your clothes, bro lemme tell you there’s way to much tension

what he usually does is he helps you out on your lotion…dawg it’s so much tension

he’ll put lotion on your legs and then it’s the way he looks up at you that makes you so nervous (i’m nervous writing this)

he then starts to massage and put lotion on your back and it’s one of the best feelings your ever gonna feel

you guys make the executive decision to go on a walk and then to go get something to eat but he makes sure you both eat a little something before you guys leave

you both arrive at the park and walk around for a while

you guys talk about so many things on your walk, most of the things being about your future, maybe he’ll talk about the band a little bit

he might share some song lyrics with you, your like his best friend so he’s gonna share anything that’s on his mind with you

he doesn’t have to worry about putting up a façade

but if you guys run into any fans he’s very sweet to them but he also gets to make the interaction very quick

he doesn’t want his time with you to be ruined

for lunch you guys go to this cute little restaurant you’ve always been going too

like for your third date you guys went there and y’all are cool with the owners there

i feel like he’s the type to make you order more food

y’all are there for a good minute but when you do leave you both ready to go to sleep

when you guys return home you change into some comfy clothes and just lounge around the house

maybe y’all make out for a lil while

you guys probably watch some movies, listen to music together, just hang out and talk

you guys start planning out what y’all want for dinner

and you guys have such a set schedule that sometimes Aaron T wants to come over sometimes just to have dinner sometimes

you guys don’t mind but it’s like the 6th time this week

he says he just like hanging out with Robaire and you but he just wants the food for real

but when you guys cook you play some music in the background like jazz or r&b, something that’s like calming and nice to listen to

it’s really fun cooking with him and not to mention how good he looks too

like he’s just singing and stirring whatever it is he’s stirring

like the vibes are there

and the meal is very good like you can’t blame Aaron T for coming over so often cause the food is too good

at dinner you guys usually talk about the same stuff you guys talk about at in the park: your guys future, the band, lyrics, possibly even having a pet!!

You guys both get woken up from Jesses kids

They come in like a beam of sunshine and then start hopping on the bed

It’s actually terrifying but they’ve been waiting for you two to get up for the longest now

In the morning Jesses voice is very raspy and deep so it takes you a bit by surprise

But he handles the kids so well

“Hey, hey, hey stop jumping. You guys okay??”

He talks to them so nicely even though they just woke him and you up out of his slumber

The kids say that they want some food and he makes a little deal with them

It’s been the same deal for as long as you’ve known

“How about you guys go down to the kitchen we’ll meet you down there”

One day they kids are going to realize that the deal hasn’t changed but they run down stairs and all you can hear is little feet growing distant down the hall

Then after the kids leave he groans and rolls over onto you

He’s a big baby for real

He’ll tell you good morning and kiss you all over your face and squeeze your waist

Sometimes he goes a tad bit to low and then you laugh at him and tell him to stop

When you guys make it downstairs his kids are there waiting with their cups

It’s so cute because they hold their cups with two hands

They usually drink orange juice, milk or water in the morning

He’ll ask them what they want to eat and they have such refined pallets

They like to eat oatmeal and even avocado toast

You and Jesse always joke about how they’re gonna be health influencers in the future

While you guys eat Jesse loves to see you interact with the kids it’s so wholesome and sweet

the kids might ask you a weird question and you just indulge them and he finds that so adorable

or when you act kind of stern with them, he’s completely comfortable with you doing that

around this time you guys are wrapping up breakfast and getting ready for the day

you take the kids upstairs to get them situated while Jesse cleans up a little longer downstairs

y’all work so well together you guys get so much done in such a short amount of time

so after you monitor the kids getting dressed (and i say monitor cause i would like to believe that his kids are at the age of picking out their own outfits yk?? like u gotta make sure they’re not tearing apart their whole wardrobe) you help them wash they teeth and their face

once their finished you go downstairs and damn.

he’s standing at the sink and he’s not facing you so you get to see his back muscles

now at this time all of you guys are in the outside garden (fancy right （＾ν＾）)

it’s always so relaxing out there

the kids play and run around while you and jesse watch them and drink some tea or coffee

jesse usually paints around this time, he’s working on trying to paint real life

the garden is a great place to practice that with the beautiful scenery of the flowers, the trees, the lake near your house and you’ve seen in the painting he even painted the kids running

but back at his art studio he has many portraits of you, sometimes your shocked at the amount of detail that’s in it

there was one time he took a picture of you sleeping and then made a portrait out of it and made it look like you were resting in a bed of flowers

embarrassing, but lovely

or sometimes he’ll bring home some pottery that he made and paint on it

you still have many gifts from when you guys were dating that he made, he’s so creative he’s made pottery for you, paintings, jewelry and poems

and you guys do this cute thing where every gift you give each other you give it a name, you guys don’t really remember how that tradition started but it’s still an ongoing thing

after you guys spend time outside everyone comes inside to get a snack or some lunch

and just like at breakfast it’s just an onslaught of questions and stories from the kids

maybe it’s something they learned at school or how they had a conflict with someone

it’s so funny to hear about their conflicts at school because what sound so obvious to you and Jesse might not be so obvious to the kids

but everyday when your at lunch or dinner your surprised each day by how alike they act to Jesse

they talk like him, they’re creative like him, think like him, smile like him, they’re carbon copies at this point

1:15 pm

at this time you start getting the kids ready to go to their babysitter

(on this specific day let’s just say that he’s taking you out on a date for tonight)

Jesse is very protective with his kids so i feel like he very rarely has a baby sitter or has someone look after his kids other than him, except when he rlly had to of course

today is an exception you and jesse plan out your date nights in advance every month

y’all make it like a holiday for you guys to go out somewhere fancy or to do something where you guys can spend the most quality time with each other

you and jesse start to get ready to have your afternoon/ night out

i imagine that the both of you take forever to get ready to do things, hence the reason why you guys start kinda early

like you guys always show up to functions like an hour late ans people are so confused, they think you just bailed or sumn.

y’all start getting dressed and i feel like as you guys get dressed you okay music

like you guys play different ballads and r&b maybe some rock songs that you guys sing your heart out to

he outsings you of course but he always tells you that your voice sounds heavenly

but the whole time he has this love sick smile, he’s savoring these moments because he knows as a performer he might not spend as much time as he’d like to with you

so moment like these make him so happy

you guys might stop at a bench and talk about aanything and everything under the sun

when you guys were dating you guys used to spend hours on the phone talking about everything and it would be late asf too (cause he put his kids to sleep before he gave you his full attention)

when you guys pick up the kids their knocked out asleep so the whole ride home they’re sleep

when you guys arrive home you put the kids asleep and head off to get ready for bed

Stranger Things Spiderman AU

I got some ideas from the byler-centric one, but I kinda went hyperfocus mode on El and didn't sleep, so here it is.

I've decided that the kids are 16 when the story takes place, more or less arbitrarily.

Brenner was doing spider-related experiments. As I built out the story more, he's kind of in the place of Norman Osborne I think. Tbh I wasn't too worried about him being in character. He's at this point gotten several human subjects- the lab kids.

Brenner kind of raised El to think she was dangerous to the other kids for (insert whatever the fuck the canon reasoning was which is still beyond me) this is where she starts playing drums (bc I made her as Ghost Spider and Gen Stacey plays drums) Brenner days is so that she can "release all her psychic energy so she doesn't blow the building up" but really there's guards trained to check in if they hear the noise stop in case she escapes.

When Will and MJ/Mike are on a field trip, they find El and help her escape disguised as a student, while another spider lands on Will's jacket unbeknownst to them.

El and the other lab kids always wore plain black and white suits and sweaters, but after El sees Will painting, she gets inspired to customize hers with blue and red or pink (I haven't decided) webs.

El immediately stays with the Byers bc they're isn't the whole yk Will missing thing. I have a convo halfway planned where they decide her cover name is Elenor. Fight me.

El's telekinesis allows her to remain unseen when she starts out so she gets called "The Ghost Hero" until her spider emblem gets spotted, earning the name "The Ghost Spider"

Mikhail is Harry Osborne. Fight me.

Since Mikhail is here, I thought I'd include Enzo and somehow relate him to Oscorp. Most of them are scientists, but then I remembered a Spiderman villain called Rhino who isn't one and who could tie into the whole Spider-Super Soldiers plot.

Will and Mike childhood best friends -> dating, obviously.

I looked up Gwen Stacey (Spider Gwen/ Ghost Spider)'s band name- it's the Mary Janes. I decided to change it to the Mary Sues as a joke bc yk El has powers. Max is obv in the band as well but I haven't decided her instrument yet. I remember the MJs having just girls in the band, so maybe I can incorporate the Goth Girlfriend from Lenora High... or the Art Gfs tbh. I don't know yet whether Max should know about El's powers or anything or whether there's elmax, but I'm not really writing this writing this, so I can pick and choose what's canon by the day. Probably not since she's fresh out of the lab...

So here's the story: Brenner has the kids in the lab, probably as part of some scheme to have spider super soldiers or something. They all wear plain white suits and plain black and white sweaters. They aren't very warm and don't have even pockets or drawstrings, they really just serve as identification. They also have on marks that are meant to protect them, but they're also intentionally impersonal and not very emotive to keep the kids from socializing. The original design is on the left, and next to it is two of my ideas for color schemes once El customizes it with the spider webs on the sweater sleeves and boots. Cyan with pink-y bright red webs or dark blue with baby pink webs. I also chose to add a heart to the face to make it more "her" and cute bc canon El has homemade hearts in her room, but I'm not sure about the placement. The back of the sweater also has a spider emblem.

Fun fact between all the designs and thumbnails and my app crashing I drew 36 webs :) I'm still not good at them :) I have SO much respect for comic artists that regularly draw Spiderman's web design in action shots repeatedly by hand how tf are some of y'all still alive?

I also gave El a secret identity and some civilian clothes! I have a halfway planned conversation of how her identity gets established that I might post later if anyone (read: me) cares enough. I tried to keep some aspects of El's own canon fashion but a little different from Will and Jonathan. I kept her layers and patterns (El's style had my heart) and a stylized version of the sports jersey inspired shirt that she wears at the end of S4. I think adding bracelets and wearing embroidered clothes is something she would do just because it's *more*. Putting more of herself out in stark contrast to her bland uniform. The capri jeans have a heart patch, a flower patch, and a star patch on the keg we can see and decorative top-stitching on the hems. The high top converse have a smiley patch on one and a heart patch on the other and her shirt is embroidered with scattered daisies. Her long striped undershirt (totally stolen from Max) is slightly inspired by Gwen's fingerless gloves looking design in next year's Spiderverse movie. "Long range spider sense" is listed in her powers and just means the weird telepathy grey area that canon El has as opposed to Will's Peter Parker-esque Spider Sense. I also gave her super strength because I wanted to.

On second thought she probably wears running shoes but oh well.

just to close out even further, and really have this qualify as a theme month,,; Al Pacino April 2022 huh

I’d say like… a mixed success on the whole imo.

Out of the total 43 possible films that I actually bothered to add to the spreadsheet (this is unfortch including a bunch of movies that I added back in later but were previously on my ‘extra credit’ spreadsheet - so I think I was originally working with a total of 36 or so) - I watched 13, which is around 1 film every 2-3 days or so.  Which sounds better than it is, or like,, smth like that ig. Including all those godfathers that I watched back in March, as well as Gucci, this makes 17/43. Pretty dire looking now huh!

This poorness is a bit bc I was working and trying to actually see other people, and losing it, AND didn’t have fckn wifi for most of the month, so I think these things maybe pushed the possible number down a fair bit :/

also I think that maybe smth like this requires a bit more planning than I actually bothered to put into it to begin with, which didn’t help with things. Easiest example of this being that I couldnt settle properly on if I wanted to do it chronologically, or what would be the links between each watch, beforehand at all really, as well as like, the poor time management ig. Ex. Of that? My half thought out idea of watching needle park & Irishman next to each other to close out, and failing to remember that one of those is about 3 fckn hours, and he’s only been in about 3 movies that have been less than 100min!!

All that said, I think I got a pretty good overview of most decades, certainly almost all of the 70s & 80s, though the late 90s and 00s remain blindspots. 

(I avoided the mid-late 00s a bit honestly, because a lot of those looked, yk,,, fucken awful.) 

I liked the majority of the films I watched tho ngl, and after a point I did start to feel as though I was getting a better idea of what he was at at any point, type of projects that he actually was interested in*, and unfortch, maybe a better idea of film/what a ‘strong’ film performance maybe should look like /shrug

(*imo! Mostly seem to be ones that have this weird tonal flip between the start of the film and the end, theres like a switch flipped for the final third which mostly makes them depressing, but maybe thats just me thinking that yk, projecting smth thats not actually there)  

Don’t know if I actually reached a conclusion with this, but that seems reflective of the idea lbr ! lol Will I do this next year?? Who knows, I’m kinda hoping not, if only bc the programming looks brutal.

Entry 77

Anne is mad at me. Or at least I hoped she would be. It's only been hours since I forced her and Sasha to fight each other-

 I had no choice.

All the negotiating had gotten me nowhere. All the concessions... It was inevitable that the conflict would escalate, and I had to minimize the casualties.

It always came down to Anne and Sasha in every scenario I could think of. They were the ones who triggered it, and it had to be them who would end it.

And after Anne and Sasha came back at the end, I tried to explain it to them again and again and apologized, and what does Anne say?

"I understand."

And then she changed the subject. Or didn't say anything at all.

I tried again after we dropped Grime and Sasha off to Captain Beatrix, but she wouldn't talk about it.

I'm writing this just after we got back to the Plantars. Anne went straight to the basement and went to sleep. She hasn’t even taken her armor off.

She also kissed me goodnight on the cheek, but it felt different. Yk, kinda-

 "Watchu writing?"

"Huh?", Marcy looks up from her journal and in front of her, on the living room couch where she has made herself comfortable, she finds Sprig sitting in front of her, glaring at her with a curious expression. "Oh, um, I'm kind of trying to recap the day. Writing usually helps... but right now I'm just worried."

"Because of what? Didn't you guys win?", he asks. Marcy closes her journal and puts it aside before answering.

"I made them fight each other to the death. And if Grime hadn't surrendered- I'm not sure Ben would have done the same... and I would have been responsible for the death of my own girlfriend."

"Do you really think they would have killed each other?", he asks. Marcy nods in response, albeit hesitantly.

"I mean, I saw the hatred in their eyes. It wasn't just about this war for either of them, it was about revenge.", she answers with certainty in her voice.

"What would Sasha want revenge for?", Sprig asks skeptically.

"Well, Anne took away a good part of her vision. And she attacked Toad Tower."

"Good points...", he admits before pausing briefly to think. "So you're worried you've screwed things up with Anne now, right?"

"I... ...", Marcy stares at him, wordlessly blinking at him for a few seconds, "Yeah."

"Okay. So, here's how I see it: Before Anne just left down to the basement, she gave you a kiss on the cheek. Is that right?", Marcy nods slightly, "I didn't get one. Polly didn't either. Nor did Hop Pop. And we're her family... Do you really think Anne would have done that if she no longer liked you?"

Marcy thinks about his words, and a small, embarrassed smile spreads across her face.

"I don't know... maybe?"

"Well, I do know. And I'm pretty sure you know, too. Even if your guilt is biting you right now.", he says confidently, "You're Anne's girlfriend, and she loves you just like you love her. I'm sure that if you sleep on it tonight, that the world will look a lot better tomorrow."

"Thank you, Sprig. You're pretty good at cheering people up, you know that?"

"Of course. After all, that's what friends do.", he replies, "But seriously, you look completely exhausted. Almost more so than Anne."

Just then, a huge yawn escapes Marcy. With a knowing look, Sprig peers at her.

"You're right. I'll finish my journal entry first, though.", Marcy insists and Sprig jumps off the couch.

"Fine. But don't take too long. You don't want to miss the party tomorrow.", at that, Marcy snaps her head at him.

"Party?", she asks confused.

"Oh, right, you and Anne dropped off Grime and Sasha...", he recalls, "Um, Chuck was here earlier and dropped off official invitations for all of us. And you and Anne are the special guests."

Marcy snorts out of her nose, "That's very short notice... Also, not very professional that the special guests are the last ones to know..."

"Well, it's not supposed to officially start until tomorrow night, so... you know... there is more than enough time to prepare.", he explains, and Marcy lifts up her diary again.

"Thank you for letting me know."

"You're welcome."

However, before she was able to write a single, further word, her own fatigue and exhaustion overwhelmed her, and her mind drifted into a quick sleep.

 Yet it was a fairly short night. For Marcy, it feels like only a few minutes have passed as she regains consciousness and slowly wakes up. But even before she opens her eyes, she notices that something is different. She gradually opens her eyes.

'Naaw', Marcy thinks to herself as she notices a blanket lying on top of her. She turns slightly and spots her favorite brown tuft of hair sitting right in front of her, right in front of the couch.

Marcy turns around a bit, catching Anne's attention, who turns to her in response.

"Good morning sleepyhead.", Anne greets her with a peck on her nose.

"What- How long have you been awake?", Marcy asks barely comprehensible and slightly confused by the smile Anne wears on her face.

"Two hours, maybe. I came upstairs when I saw you weren't sleeping next to me, and then I brought my blanket up and tossed it on you.", she replies, "And I've been watching Suspicion Island on my phone ever since... Oh, by the way, I almost forgot: Wally came by and dropped this off for you."

She hands Marcy her phone. Marcy, on the other hand, is so dumbfounded right now, she's completely at a loss for words and stares blankly at Anne.

"Now that it's no longer necessary for Toad Tower to be blown up via remote detonation, Wally has retrieved our receiving-mushroom-thingy and retrieved your phone. You'll have to turn it on later and see if it still works...", Anne continues. But when Marcy doesn't respond, she gets a little worried. "Amphibia to Marcy. Everything okay in there?"

"You- you're not mad at me."

Just a simple statement. No question, no accusation... Just that.

this is so random, but i just really like the idea of the gym 3 boys going on a road trip together!! (also, sorry, this one is long too 😅)

i feel like bokuto is the type to get lost when he has to drive super long distances. like, he can drive down the street to get his groceries just fine, but if the travel time is even just a millisecond over an hour, he suddenly loses all sense of direction. logically, he tries to keep his drive time to less than an hour because he knows it’ll suck to get lost, but he gets so easily invested in whatever is happening while he’s driving (the music, the conversation, etc.) that he often drives longer than that. he’s a really safe driver, so people don’t normally get mad, but they definitely like to tease him about how it happens like clockwork every time. plus, they always end up finding something cool on those little detours that become their favorite part of the trip.

akaashi likes to create little games to try to calm everyone down. they’re completely nonsensical and weird, but akaashi knows exactly how to get everyone interested in the game so there is minimal complaints. akaashi normally creates new games depending on the mood of the others in the car and what he knows about them, so by the end of the trip, there are like 47 different games that they all know the rules of and have played multiple times but will never mention again (unless they go on another road trip). everyone gets super competitive, too, so on kuroo’s request, they start to keep track of who has “won” these games. (bokuto: 57-124, kuroo: 48-133, akaashi: 40-141, tsukishima: 36-145).

kuroo just strikes me as the type of guy who gets really irritated on road trips, but by the time the whole trip is over, he completely forgets. he’s really good for the first couple days, really enjoys himself, but by the time the third or fourth day comes around, he’s super crabby and passive aggressive. he resets after every time he drives, and then it’s the waiting game all over again. nevertheless, afterwards, whenever he recalls the road trip, he’s always super fond.

unlike kuroo, i feel like tsukishima is the type of guy that would start the trip feeling really irritated, but by the end he’d have eased up a lot. he’s laughing more, he opens up to the boys, takes pictures with them, shares his music, etc. they all feel like they have all grown closer, and it’s a really nice memory for them to have. but, the second they all get back and one of them mentions that they really like this new version of tsuki, tsukishima will just smirk evilly and fall back into his normal self. (“you wanna know why i let my guard down on that trip?” “...why?” “because no one will ever believe you. :))))))”) (kuroo says something about it once and most everyone looks at him like he’s crazy, but yamaguchi just looks at tsukishima with a knowing stare while tsuki smirks).

the sun beams down on them, weather as hot and as humid as it ever been, sweat sticking to their skin. not even a single gust of wind blows through their hair.

kuroo has a hand on his waist, the other above his already squinting eyes to shield them from the sun’s harsh rays, “are you done yet?”

“just a few more moments, kuroo-san.” a sigh leaves akaashi’s lips as he points the camera towards bokuto and tsukishima, “one, two, smile.”

bokuto had slung an arm around tsukishima’s shoulders, the largest grin on his face, stretching up to his eyes as they crinkled in the corners. tsukishima holds a peace sign above bokuto’s head, a small smile appearing on his features as well. akaashi snaps the picture and gives out a thumbs-up, indicating that he had already taken it.

“of course we can stop by to see the world’s largest ball of yarn. it’s not like we’re hours behind our trip.” kuroo speaks loud enough for everyone to hear, though his lips flicked up into a smile, the bitterness in his tone indicated anything but happiness.

“he’s driving next, right?” tsukishima whispers to akaashi as they made their way back to the car.

akaashi nods and bokuto lets out a sigh of relief, “oh good. not sure how much more of that i could take. he just won our last game, i expected him to feel a bit better.”

“it’s already hour twelve of day four. it’s only downhill from here.”

“now, don’t be so pessimistic, akaashi!”

“i’m surprised you know what that word means...”

“i heard that, tsukki! i’m destroying you on our next game!”

“could you three walk any slower?!?”

kuroo, a few weeks later, talking about the trip to anyone who would listen: yeah it was a lot of fun, love those guys a lot. we saw cool things like the biggest ball of yarn :)

here's a prompt ?(or whateverits called): not a request ! also  ، ¿ ¡ ૮₍ 𖦹 ˕ ×` ₎ა ! ?·＊·  anon or 🧛🏻‍♀️ anon(emoji form) .  : the sickie hates today so much. they had to go to school bc it was a important practice match they had to be in. but they got a stomach bug yay! good 4 them !! they woke up feeling like shit , they knew they were sick. they wanted to stay in bed . praying to any god that they weren't gonna be sick. they fell asleep again saying just to rest for a few more minutes (well it ended up being 30 minutes ) now they only had 30 minutes to get to school, they knew they actually had to wake up. running out of bed to get there clothes and change as fast as they could (they dont shower in the morning and they were to lazy to brush their teeth) rushing out of bed that fast made them all dizzy . great . now they're stomach hurts. yep they were gonna vomit. they knew they couldn't make it to the bathroom . so they found a place that could store it , they rushed finding something in their room . they searched their desk. feeling the vomit rising up. shutting their mouth bc they dont want their desk getting vomit on it. it was so strong it went in their nose. they couldnt hold it in anymore. throwing up in their desk  wetting all the papers. homeworks . they were gonna get in trouble at school. they had no hw anymore . well they were gonna be late to practice if they cleaned it up.so they ignored it. gagging at the smell of it. they finally finished their daily routine . they skipped breakfast (just like most of the times). they grabbed a mask and went to school . playing games on their phone to distract themselves.  sadly that didnt work . they got all dizzy , they put their phone. feeling too dizzy they nearly tripped . they countied waking to school. remembering they only had 5 minutes left they had to continue walking faster. they started running. while running they were thinking abt how they got sick. :: I prob  got sick from some1 in my class. yeah. they threw up in the classroom and they sat near me. they were probably coughing alot.. ew.. :: they arrived at school. going into the volleyball ball gym changing room. no1 was there . they were probably practicing.  suddenly they felt their stomach growl. it hurts so much. why today they ask. they wrapped their arms around them and it hurts so bad. when it kinda stop they had the courage to change into their volleyball club uniform and go to the gym. while walking there they started coughing.having a coughing fit made every1 look at them . they hated that . they really dont like  being the center of attention.  some1 from their team asked "hey you ok?" they just said yeah. the coach said to run 4 laps around the gym. uh how much they hated running. they only did 1 and a half.(END PT 1) they couldn't handle 4 laps. while some1 was running they saw them hiding (so no1 can see them slacking off) they asked "um?? what's wrong ? ud probably get in trouble if coach finds out.  I'm already on my 3rd lap . ig in  3 mins its over. r u just gonna stay here? and also if u act like this it the match . you'll get in big trouble. they just said "ok". when the coach said ok! they went back in the gym and prepared the net. they started a sneezing fit which caught som1 to give them tissue. they eventually stopped . they're nose is so stuffy they can barely breathe.  they really want 1 more tissue but they don't have any , they ended up using their arm as a tissue. well atleast only 1 person saw. every1 was practicing.  it was gonna end it 10 mins . they're shocked how they went so far. when they setted the ball they suddenly felt they're stomach grumble. they cant just suddenly go to the bathroom.  they had to wait. uh they started feeling nauseous and they silently stared gagging.  then came the wet coughs , they could feel the vomit loudly.  end . pt1

(contin.) they had to fake spike? idk . they didnt have the power to do so. obviously they looked like they were faking it. they're team lost, they honestly didnt care . then some1 hit then on their back saying to,work hard. some vomit came up . they swallowed it . they thought it tasted so bad. they started coughing really loudly.  every1 was looking (they had to rush to the bathroom but since every1 was looking they didn't want to make a scene so they didnt ) they waited till every1 wrnt to they changing room /club room.  finally every1 besides 1 person who was a benched player went to the toilet . oh no. they cant wait that there was vomit coming up they wanted to wait for at least 2 mins , but they couldn't only 36 seconds.  they started to vomit .  in their hands . dripping on the gyms floor. they couldn't make it into a stall so they threw up in the bathroom floor. threw up already half of what they had. they heard the doors unlocking from the bathroom (it was the benched player) they rushed into a stall so he couldn't see them  . they walked out and saw vomit.  they didnt care , they walked out like nothing happened. they were still vomiting , they didn't have enough strength to propt themselves up to puke inside the toilet,  they just ended  up throwing up on the floor . they thought they were done after dry heaving for 2 minutes.  getting up to go to the changing room to change into their uniform.  they didnt tie their tie properly but they dont care. going into their classroom late. like 10 minutes late. they got scolded for wearing their tie wrong and being late.also not bringing hw. yay good for them this class they didnt do anything. so they just fell asleep /WITH THEIR MASK ON!// pt2done

while waiting they double bagged the plastic bags to prevent in from seeping thru. one the bus came. the sickie regretted going on already feeling dizzy once they sat down , they sat at the back where no1 sits (although that would make them more dizzer, but they didnt know that) after 5 minutes of the ride (there was some traffic. normally itd take 10 minutes. but since there is traffic they didnt how long they'd have to wait.) "[caretakers name]...while wet coughing.mm candy." they rushed to give the candy. it soothed their throat for 5 minutes until making them dizzy . lying down on the caretaker,while they play with their hair. they fell asleep. after 20 minutes (still in traffic) they woke up to the bus driving. they woke up and asked for water. they drank the water in small sips. they didnt vomit. the they drank it quickly before spitting it out. then coughing. they nearly threw up. swallowing it . asking while coughing for the 'bag'. they grabbed it and held on it and tried getting it out bc they were very nauseous. they couldn't. until the bus continued moving. they're grip to it was very weak. the bus suddenly moving made their stomach growl. and letting of their bag to hold on their stomach. the care taker asked "what's wrong ???? you let go... r u gonna ..." "no. stop.u will make me.stop.talking abt it"(they hated vomit so much thinking abt it makes them gag) the sickie was shaking. they messed up dropping the bag and it flew away. they caretaker getting their jacket just incase yk they vomit. after the bus stops again. a couple and a 2 ppl (4 alltogether)decided to sit in the back. their stomach hurts so much... they started crying. the bus started moving more . 2 more stops till their stop. they gagged. letting go of their hand on their face. "I'm gonna-" the caretaker getting the jacket and hugging the sickie to cover them . they threw up on the caretaker. the couple moved away in disgust whilst the 2 other ppl stayed. just on their phone. "ppl r looking...." "I want to leave.. " "''dont worry , no1 is looking'' the care taker grabbed their bag looking for a (idk the word but it's like a towel but not , you stick it on some1 face and it cools them down) they place it on the sickie. they sickie just dry heaving at this point. they said "sorry.." it's ok. - ¿ ¡ ૮₍ 𖦹 ˕ ×` ₎ა ! ? / 🧛🏻‍♀️ , which haikyuu character do you think this is? also very bad prompt :). again,not a request.

This sounds a lot like Kunimi to me, but I'm also getting Kita, Ennoshita, and Jin (Soekawa) from this. Maybe Yamaguchi too.

For Kunimi, his primary caretaker is the sweet but helpless Kindaichi. Kindaichi really means well, but he's terrible at taking care of sick people, so he just makes everything worse for Kunimi in the end. The rest of Seijoh ends up helping eventually, but it's just Kindaichi for a while, and he does not handle that well. Kunimi basically takes care of himself while Kindaichi stands in a corner muttering apologies. After this incident, Kindaichi resolves to be a better caretaker and starts doing research and taking first aid classes later on.

Kita's primary caretaker is Aran. He's much more competent than Kindaichi and takes good care of Kita for as long as the captain needs it. There isn't much to say after the incident because Aran handles everything so well.

Ennoshita is stuck with the other benched 2nd years (Kinoshita and Narita). They're okay caregivers but nothing special. Ennoshita is the most nurturing of their trio, and with him out of commission, Kinoshita and Narita do their best to help their friend. Ennoshita still has to do some things for himself, but Kinoshita and Narita can at least know the basics of taking care of someone, so Ennoshita still has it better than Kunimi.

Jin gets two caretakers too because why not. His caretakers are Reon and Semi. Both are very experienced with taking care of others and are the unofficial team parents, so Jin has it very good. He recovers pretty quickly thanks to the excellent care he receives from Semi and Reon.

Yamaguchi's primary caretaker is obviously Tsukishima. Daichi and Suga try to help too, but Yamaguchi gets panicked by anyone who isn't Tsuki, so Tsuki has to deal with basically everything. Tsuki also ends up calling Akiteru for help because he's just so out of his depth caring for another person. Akiteru, on the other hand, took care of Tsuki for years and is a wonderful caregiver. Yamaguchi recovers well with the comforting presence of his best friend and the lovely caretaking of Akiteru.

“Y/N you know I have no problem killing that punk ass nigga that’s in there with you, I suggest you get you shit and come outside right now before it gets bloody.” 

“Fuck” you hissed. You knew Erik wasn’t playing around about what he said. You grabbed your purse and jacket and opened the front door.

Erik Stevens was a toxic son of a bitch. No sugar coating the fact that he relied on his good looks and natural charisma and it made him spoiled in his young adult life, when he saw something that he wanted he got it with ease and very little push back. And his freshman year in college he decided that what he wanted was you.

The first time that you guys were together it was picture perfect, he would pick you up from class and spend the night in your dorm room. The breakup however was messy, accusations of cheating flew around in a whirlwind of problems you had with Erik and it was just one of many things that caused the fall of your relationship. A month later, just when you had started healing from your relationship he came back to you, his brother in Oakland died and you were the closest thing to family he had at Stanford. Obviously you welcomed him back into your bed that night allowing him to release all of his stress onto you and then holding him when he processed the realization of his family member dying. But by your sophomore year same as before your relationship had been plauged with rumors of cheating this time from both parties and after a fight in which he chocked you up onto a wall, but because you both were horny fucks only turned into a fit of passionate sex. But after that it was done you kicked Erik out and he stayed out, blocking him on all social media and stopping sharing your location with him. All ties were cut.

But nearly 4 months later when he saw you grinding up on a random nigga at a kickback his blood starting boiling, how dare you let him touch you like that you were practically humping him at this fucking party. And does that nigga not know who Erik is?? Most guys at Stanford steer clear of you in order not to piss Erik off but this guy doesn't seem to care. Erik didn’t remember much about that night just fist colliding with a face and your shrill scream begging him to get off of whatever the guys name was. He made you go home with him and the entire car ride you rode in silence.

Walking throughout the hall to get to his apartment: Silence

“Shut the fuck up and let’s go to sleep” Erik said lazily as he removed his shirt and laid out on the bed. He knew what he was doing, his body and the sex that came with it where the only reason you guys stayed together. BUT his little trick wasn’t gonna work this time.

“No. I’m going back to see Brandon and apologize to him for your behavior” You reached to grab your jacket off the bed giving Erik the perfect opportunity to grab your wrist and force you to straddle him.

“Let me go Erik I’m serious, I need to go apologize to Brandon for your dumbass actions. He probably doesn't even wanna fuck with me anymore because of you” you wiggled slightly trying to release yourself from his grasp.

Erik let go of your hand and started stroking your thigh “You're not even trying to leave if we’re both being honest, if you really wanted to leave you would have left already. You like being with me, just admit it.”

You threw your head back and let out a sigh, Erik wasn't wrong, you always felt comfortable around him and right now was no different but you couldn’t let him know that. Today was the day that you were going to end a very vicious cycle. You got off of Erik and grabbed your jacket

Erik chuckled at that “Ay princess” he called out to you as you walked out of his room “Let me find out that you're over that niggas house, I promise I wil come over and air that bitch out. Text me when you get home I don’t want to have to come find you myself.”

Erik was a man of action but for some reason you didn’t believe him this time, the first thing that you did as soon as you got out of his apartment complex was to call an Uber to Brandon’s place. 

When it pulled up to his house you texted Brandon to let him know that you were outside and he opened the door to him. Honestly he didn’t look too bad for getting into a fight with Erik, you'd seen guys come out looking much worse, he just had a black eye with some puffiness. You didn’t say anything to him but a mutual understanding of the sorry’s that hadn't been said were being said with looks. He held out his hand to you and you took it following him into his bedroom. You both undressed and got into bed quickly, not wanting anything other than to just be in the others company. He knew about your relationship with Erik and he was the first person to help you fully realize just how toxic it was, even though you would never say it out loud. Eventually you drifted off to sleep while he held you in his arms, finally feeling calm. 

You awoke to banging on his front door and by the fact that Brandon had just sat up you knew it couldn’t be good. Brandon didn’t get into anything on campus that would constitute someone knocking in his door at god what time was it? You reached over to grab your phone and soon realized what the banging was about. You had 36 missed calls from Erik, 17 facetime calls and 50 text messages. You were fucked plain and simple. That's when you heard it:

“Y/N I’m not fucking playing with you I swear to god come outside or I’m coming in there to get you” You could tell it was Erik and he wasn’t happy.

“Fuck” you muttered to yourself as you slid out of Brandon’s bed and started pulling on your skirt that you had worn and searched for your shirt.

“You can’t go out there Y/N” Brandon said as he got out of bed throwing on a pair of shorts.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK “I'm getting impatient Y/N!”

“No one else is gonna be able to calm him down right now, you just don’t get him. I’m not going back to him just talking to him.” You threw your phone and charger into your purse and looked around for your socks.

“That’s bull shit, you and I both know it. Just call him and see if you can work it out over the phone.”

 You looked at Brandon and saw the desperation in his eyes. Not desperate for you to be with him necessarily but desperate for you to be away from Erik. 

“Fine” you said as you put your shoes on. 

You grabbed your phone and dialed Erik’s number.

“Hi baby” you thought sweet talking would work. I didn’t, but it did make Erik laugh.

“C’mon bring ya ass outside Y/N this is your last warning.”

“Erik please can we just talk about this over the phone we don’t need to be face to face.”

“Y/N you know I have no problem killing that punk ass nigga that’s in there with you, I suggest you get you shit and come outside right now before it gets bloody” 

“Fuck” you hissed, you knew Erik wasn’t playing around about what he said. You grabbed your purse and jacket and opened the front door. There he was standing right in front of you, dressed in a wife beater and grey nike sweatpants with his piece sitting comfortably on his hip, you would never admit it but seeing him like that made you wetter than ever.

“Damn that nigga didn’t even walk you to the front door, what a bitch. Let’s go we got some shit to work out” Erik said as he wrapped his arm around your waist and led you to the car. You saw M’baku and T’challa sitting in the drivers and passenger seat of the g-wagon. Erik opened the door for you and you shimmed in. You had been in the g-wagon before but never in the back seat. You assumed using  someone's Wakandan connection they had tricked out the back so it was enough space to lay down and still have space.

“T’challa do me a favor and put down the partition me and my girl need to exchange some words.” Erik said.

“You sure she’s still your girl” M’baku muttered causing T’challa to laugh as he closed the partition.

“You know how embarrassing shit like that is?” Erik asked you “we’ve been together since freshman year and niggas are still questioning our devotion to each other” 

“They wouldn't have to if you didn’t give them a reason too.” you said in a hushed tone.

“You question my devotion to you baby girl? You think I’m out here fucking on other girls?” He slid his hand up your skirt and rubbed your inner thigh. “You gave me all of you, aren’t I right?
