Hey this is just a reminder that Chalco Yong went WAY out of her way in the TWQ CE lorebook to explicitly clarify that her relationship with Ikora Rey was specifically non-romantic. Their relationship is very close and intense and meaningful and important to both of them without being romantic. Romantic relationships do not have a monopoly on significance and priority - that’s the amatonormativity talking, resist it.

This is a textbook queerplatonic relationship and it’s fucking canon. And between two amazing women no less!! Do you have ANY idea how rare that is?! Please don’t erase that.
