Sparrow becoming a hybrid is both interesting and has scary implications to the entire concept of hybrids
He didn't just become a hybrid, he became a new person. He became completely different.
Aside from the creepy body things like no longer breathing or having camera eyes, he's had a lot of mind-altering changes. Sure, you got the basic things you'd expect. Any copper golem would be more infatuated with copper and buttons than a human.
But it goes so much further than that.
In his own words, he "doesn't fully remember what got him here." He doesn't have full recollection of his human life. He knows mechanical stuff without understanding why he does. He gets upset over his storage, an especially interesting part because the way you organise can say a lot about you. He feels disgusted at the idea of staying at his campsite because of the nature, this is coming from the man who proudly presented his campsite when he first set it up. He literally runs a factory for copper.
Another thing that really interests me is how he's treating Scott. Who is pretty much his only real friend at the moment. It didn't feel like Sparrow treated him the same as before. He showed interest in the living side of Scott (his breathing/sleeping because Sparrow cant do this). But he also tried to steal Scott's axe and blamed him partially for his messy storage as he wanted him to intervene ("how could you let me life like this"). And i feel like human Sparrow would have absolutely ran to Scott the second he became a hybrid, excited to show his new powers off. I think that some of his final words to Scott, "i'm doing hybrid things", "i'm being special like you", are things Sparrow would say. But our current one said this while pushing Scott to leave the area to not bother him.
You can see the old Sparrow still shine through at times but it is also clear that he's so much more, and not in a good way. I think you can see the old Sparrow the best when he says things like "i'm a hybrid now so i can do it." Because he's been hyping up the concept of becoming a hybrid so much. Human Sparrow truely thought being a hybrid would be an amazing, magical thing.
It's like he's a mix between a pure machine and a human. His knowledge, his thought process, his wants, all are closer to that of a machine then the Sparrow we learned to know.
And it makes you wonder, maybe being a hybrid isnt as fun as it seems at first

I do not, at my core, like AI that makes art.
I am an artist, and it takes me time (precious to mortals) and money (precious to us hedonists) to write this and everything else you see here. Every time a human has created a tool – forks, lingerie, code breakers – it has been invented to make our lives easier, cleaner, more full of time to do what we want. Art is the pinnacle, culmination, goal, and fervent desire of the human lizard brain is…

Honestly your Sammy seems so pathetic (/pos) due to the way we see him simping over Bendy and stuff, but I feel like in an actual situation he has the potential to be a legit threat. If anyone went after his Bendy Sammy would 100% throw down and probably win
Canon Sammy meanwhile is cringefail at all angles. Dude hasn't caught a single sacrifice, can't even handle losing his mask, and manages to die at every opportunity. If anyone went after his Bendy then he'd probably just cheer Bendy on while cowering in a box somewhere far away (and still somehow die)
I think the non-inked Sammy's would be more of a fair fight, but your Sammy would probably still win. Alternatively instead of pitting two bad bitches against each other they can just beat up their respective Joey's together- XD
(Apologies for hugely overanalysizing a silly joke XD)

canon sammy would be dead in 5 seconds because my sammy would go for the throat without hesitation if he thought canon sammy was challenging him for prophet status

I totally agree with your points about Primo and bees, because they do make a lot of sense and are more canonically accurate to him (although I personally have to confess i like the idea of him liking bees just because I like bees-)
I think however one point that could argue in favour of him at least having an interest in bees is the fact that he outright describes how bees dance, if I recall correctly. Literally no one just remembers while riding a motorbike in a life or death scenario which formation bees make when dancing, and also there's the fact that he knows bees dance. He's an android from a post apocalyptic world; just why does he knows about bees, specifically bees, of all things? Considering the state of that world, bees shouldn't exist.
Anyway, what's your take on why Primo just happens to know about bees? i mean one possibility is that he deliberately studied things to compare lester to
That's a good question! Definitely worth examining. Primo does indeed bring up this concept of bees dancing in the sub, and though he doesn't describe the specific formation, he does shares the fact about how they do it to indicate to each other where to find things (though irl it's pollen actually, not honey lol)
Tumblr media
To me though, I think Primo having this knowledge is less out of a driven interest in bees themselves, and moreso an interest in what the bees represent to him. Primo is... a not a terribly subtle person, and he is Very Vocal about his interest (fixation, almost) in determinism and destiny. Bees are a social animal, just like humans, and to him the bees' dance is all but the beautiful instinct of a small and insignificant creature, an act they perform not out of free will but out of inevitability--just like the inevitability he believes befalls humanity in their eternal Synchro-driven self destruction.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
imo with him knowing this bit of Bee Knowledge, he doesn't actually care about the bee part--he cares about the dancing. I really like his Duel Links taunt that ties into this, actually, I think it's a great little flicker of insight on this topic.
Tumblr media
god LOOK at that fucked up toothy grin!!!! what you lookin crazy for!!!! he says it in such a gnarly mean snarly way too. And it's clear here he is Not talking about the "bees dancing to show each other where to find food" tidbit he shares in show, he could not care LESS about that part right now; he's comparing his opponent's implied struggling to the predetermined helpless act of an amusing little insect. Because that's the part he's most interested in. There's no way you can win this, destiny's already determined that. All you can do is repeat your own mistakes, Do the same dance over and over.
So why's he got this bee knowledge in the first place? Personally, I think it's probably something he's tripped over in his own pursuits of examining humanity's inevitabilities (and trying to figure out how to circumvent them and save the world) He's an android, it's not super farfetched to think that he could have just downloaded a swatch of topics related to potentially predetermined instincts of social animals into his synthetic brain, and then later gave pause to bees in particular while mid-working on the Diablo and having a Commanded By External Forces "swarm" of his own. Or, considering that. ah. well. Z-one is quick to compare those he deems insignificant to insects ( 8,) ), Primo might have picked that up as learned behavior and was already inclined to pick bees as his preferred metaphor for unimportant cogs in the destiny's great machine.
Hell, maybe even Z-one himself is the one who preprogrammed the knowledge of creatures great and small into Primo's robo-brain. 5D's is very nebulous about just how long the Emperors have been around, but I'm very firmly in the camp of "a long fucking time, and they have probably been through several time loops and alternate timelines and rebuildings," so i think there's been ample opportunity for Primo to make contact with that knowledge one way or another, not necessarily because he actively sought it out. The post apocalypse Iliaster crawled out of may have been devoid of much life at all, let alone bees, but these guys very literally have all the time in the world to become acquainted with past ecology. (also Z-one is a NERD!!!! i KNOW he would have been preserving knowledge of things like animals. something something the repressed unspoken hope that things will get better, etc. etc.)
anyway, tl;dr I think Primo's more interested in what bees and their little dance symbolize in the grand scheme of what Iliaster is working towards than in the bugaboos themselves, and I think a combination of his active efforts building a particularly bee swarm-like robot army, his own personal belief system, and also the fact he's an android himself (with no doubt an inclination towards gathering data relevant to his God's command) just made him more inclined to pick up some Fun Bee Trivia and keep it fresh in his mind. 🐝

Ah yes, we have now reached the “criminal-from-birth” eugenics argument. Funny how these convos about jailing (or killing) potential “criminals” before any crime has been committed only ever seem to count small-time “crimes” like thievery or assault but never wealth hoarding or war racketeering that cost billions of people their lives. Funny that.

Distortion photography is all photography, it only differs by how much.
We talk about “the human eye” as though we were cyclopses. But we have two eyes and they work in tandem to make the world around us make sense.  I keep seeing new hashtags, and different apps suggest different ones. Apparently, I am really into #distortionphotography. But this itself seems so distorted to me.  The human eye is a beautiful phrase. It makes me feel like there’s some lovely vision…

“The barber”: A partially destroyed pal max robot that wants to become a barber.
Terry: A homeless teen that wishes to become a music artist.
Backstory under the cut because long
Backstory: Terry is your average rebellious teen, tired of being in and out of foster homes he ran away in the hopes to find his biological family. He survived being captured by hiding out in a large abandoned shed, the robots couldn't find him due to the lack of info about him.
The next morning after the robots were defeated Terry was awoken by a sound inside the shed he was hiding in, he goes to investigate cautiously and finds a partially damaged pal max robot. The robot seemed to be in an amnesia-like state, unable to recall their orders to capture humans (likely due to the defeating of pal and destruction of the other robots).
Terry attempts to destroy the robot with a metal spike, but can't due to guilt as the robot doesn't attempt to fight back. The robot reveals that after awakening they found themself damaged and surrounded by deactivated robots, upon finding them a group of humans chased them off, due to still not being fond of robots after the previous attempted robot take over. The robot then hid in the same shed Terry was hiding in.
The two end up forming a sort of friendship, both being sort of outcasts from society. They make the shed their home. After bringing back some discarded magazines for entertainment, the robot discovers one, likely found from a hair salon, about hair and hair styles and decides it wants to cut hair. Terry begrudgingly lets them try out on him, after helping attach a pair of scissors to their missing hand, since he hadn't had a haircut in a long while. The robot was surprisingly good at it, leading Terry to name him the barber, he also attaches a sticky note to their face to act as an expression.
