After 2 of the most magical weeks in Paris, I am super sad to be back home and back to reality once again. Paris was truly an experience I will never forget and a city that is extremely close and dear to my heart. I didn’t post on my grid whilst I was away as I wanted to be in the moment and indulge myself in the beauty that is the City of Light. I will be sharing all my favourite Paris photographs over the next few weeks and create a highlight dedicated to my trip as so many of you kindly requested I do so. My first full day began at @museecarnavalet which is the most spectacular museum dedicated to the history of Paris. It also houses one of my favourite portraits by François Gérard which was such a delight to see. Afterwards I stopped for lunch at @fabula.paris within the museums courtyard amongst its luscious gardens. The little but informative Agricultural Museum (농업박물관), located downtown close to Seodaemun Subway Station, is fantastic for learning as well as the wallet because it's free! Also is open every day but Mondays, January 1st, and the first day of the lunar new year and Chuseok. To educate people interested and children about the value of agriculture and Korean traditional farming methods, the museum was established in 1987. There are now 2,000 historical agricultural artifacts on display for public inspection out of over 5,000 rotating agricultural artifacts. There are many different dioramas that show different eras and methods. If you want to see something cute and special, learn about Korean culture and traditions, this is your place! The city of Charlotte, North Carolina has become quite infamous for its stance against any sort of historic preservation. Because of that, very few historic sites remain in and around the city. One site of particular interest is the Hezekiah Alexander House. It was built back in 1774 and is the oldest existing house in Charlotte. If you look closely in the last photo, there's an hourglass carved into the stone next to the date.
