Crack AU where the entirety of Detroit : Become Human is just the plot of an afternoon playdate between the human child versions of Markus, Alice and Connor.
The reason for why they have three diffrent plots is because they couldn't agree on what exactly to play. Kara INSISTED that she wanted to play something with her new doll, Alice. Connor being an overexcited 6 y/o just wanted to be a cool robot detective who's like super smart and super strong and looks really, really cool.
Only god knows what had Markus deciding on what his character should be.
Since they are only three kids they decided the most logical option is just playing each of what they wanted and switching between eachother. And taking the side (read : uninteresting) roles in the stories of the other.
The only person involved in this madness that isn't switching characters like switching clothes is Connor's grandpa chaperoning the playdate, Hank.
The reason for why he freaks out everytime Connor in dbh dies is because he just grows increasingly worried about his grandon's apparent love for dying (and the plot of this playdate in general)

Honestly, If we're talking about female characters who receive misogynistic hate then Lyanna needs to be high up on the list. She gets so much hate for a) her proximity to a male character (Rhaegar) b) the pure fanon that people have invented surrounding her and c) resentment that she's such an important part of the story. And the thing is, for as relevant as she is, we simply do not know enough about her character to justify the hate that she receives. A lot of it is just people inventing reasons to dislike her. I also find it funny that a lot of people who dislike her are Rhaegar antis who characterize their relationship as forced and non-consensual, but then they'll still find reasons to hate her for it. She's supposedly bratty and immature, but also somehow intentionally seductive and evil for "stealing" Rhaegar and hurting Elia 🙄. I wish people would learn to separate canon from fanon when it came to discussing these characters.

ok so given everything went well the the Bride’s Reanimation what exactly did Dan decide to do? Because while he did agree to her creation with the agreement that she would be his replacement Meg, she’s not she has a different brain and based on what we saw a different personality what will Dan’s reaction be if she’s not what he originally wanted? Will he get discontent and look for happiness elsewhere like he did with Herbert? Will he resent her for not being Meg? Even if she was similar enough for him there’s no guarantee that she would love him back, which is extremely understandable since he is essentially her parent. What if the Bride just isn’t into Dan at all and just wants a dad? Will he leave? Will he blame her? Will he blame Herbert? Will he just lose it and try to inflict harm (he’s not emotionally stable especially not when it comes to romance) I’m kinda curious to know what will happen

I don't want you to get upset," Vau said, "but Fi's not as you remember him."
Etain nodded gravely as they waited for Aay'han to land. Vau wasn't sure if an emotional shock was a good idea for a pregnant woman so close to term, but he had Rav Bralor here if any of that female stuff needed attending to. Mird followed Etain around, staring fascinated at her belly.
"He's still Fi, and I think I understand post-coma recovery now," Etain said. "You have no idea how much medical literature I've read recently. But Mird's worrying me."
Bralor flicked her thumbnail against the butt of her blaster, making Mird whip its head around to stare balefully at her. "And I can worry Mird. Can't I, my little stinkweed?"
Vau felt the need to defend his comrade. "Strills have very acute senses, remember. It knows the baby's coming soon."
"As in snack opportunity?"
"As in parenting, Rav. Mird is hermaphroditic, remember.
It's capable of being a mother, too, and you know how female animals will mother anything."
"Even you, Walon ..."

See thats the thing. Yes it will make him absolutely miserable to end the bloodline. But thats the thing. He can't do otherwise. The more he fails to get a wife (and to examine why), the more he interiorizes that it must come from an inherent fault of his and the worse his attempts get. Thats also why I dont think he would "adopt" either, his problem is that he can't really move on. Jin ling is different, because he's his sisters son, not his. And hes channeled all his energy into him, which is crazy politically speaking since jin ling can never be a jiang heir. I think part of him is terrified that he would do to his actual son what his father did to him (bc he will always love jin ling more on the basis of him being jiang yanlis son, the same way jiang fengmians affection for wei wuxian was a continuation of his love for cangse sanren). I think its really complex but honestly I'm compelled by the increased misery as stated above :)
i get you friend, but i really think you're giving him more credit than it's due 😭 my man has never done a bit of self-analysis in his life and i don't think failing to get a wife will get him to start

They're not even prominent characters, but just the fact that Ezra (who is Fey) will have to watch not only his human wife grow old and die, but his own (mixed) children and their children after that because they don't have the Fey immortality is devastating.
No wonder he's so shut down and broken on top of every other reason.
Anyway, this is why I don't want any of the Prythian Fae we know and love to end up mated to humans. I don't want that pain for either of them.
Pretty sure we can't just conveniently keep tossing them into Cauldrons or killing them and having the High Lords bring them back to life so they can get their happily-ever-after.
