I’ve been suppressing a much needed cry session all day, so I need an emotional movie to get the tears out of me. Usually it’d be Carrie but I feel like switching it up. Don’t want the sad to wear off as I keep rewatching it lol. The close-to-crying feel I got from Encanto has already worn off the more I watch it oof. I’m thinking Midsommar today, I haven’t seen it since the one time in the theatre and idk if I’m ready for all that again, but on the other hand I wasn’t super invested in the emotional aspect of it the first time. Maybe it’ll get some tears out of me now that I’m already in the throes of sad boi hours, plus it’s super long so I can get some drawing done. Totally not gonna hide behind my tablet when it gets to that one harsh cut that jumpscared me in the theatre haha....but then again maybe a good jumpscare will be what I need who knows!!
