Greetings Hello Puppets fandom just wanted to let you know that I had a dream where I found Mortimer and carried him around and now somewhere in my sketchbooks there’s a collection of doodles of IRL me just carrying him around and holding him in air jail like the asshole he is
(Also at one point in the dream he literally spun/glitched out of reality because we entered a public bathroom for some reason)
OK SO--,, i got a chance to play through the first hello puppets on my friends headset. ITS SCARIER THAN I EXPECTED IT TO BE. i had seen video's and im like " cool but yall overreacting " but like- ITS DIFFERENT WHEN YOU PLAY HOLY SHHHH- never had i been as scared on vr-
-that the scary inanimate creatures brought to life bent on vengeance and killing are in fact, Not possessed. They're just built like that
-the "big bad" or starter of the problems is Very Bad and Evil, rather, he is a complicated character, certainly having many flaws and problems but still having redeeming qualities and a good heart
-the evils of the story were all under the influence of the true big bad, some sort of deity or demon. Instead, it's implied there may not have even been some powerful monster and the problems were in fact because of just one character's flaws
-The evil inanimate objects brought to life, as mentioned prior, are actually not just Evil and intent on taking over the world, they're implied to be quite complicated people with developed personalities and complex relationships. for example one struggles with identity, in which she wants to maintain her role of being motherly and nice, but struggles due to her uncontrollable temper, causing her to feel guilty and deny her problems
Happy 3rd anniversary to the indie game Hello Puppets/Feliz 3º aniversario al juego indie Hello Puppets
Yes this game’s actually 3 years old, cause it came out on the 12 of december of 2019, but it wasn’t well known as in 2020, 2021 and now 2022, it felt like yesterday when I discovered this amazing game, but nope, it was last year, and I still remember the day, month and week day, it was on friday, 29th of october 2021 ^u^. And I gotta say, when I saw the game, I really liked it, it gave some scares, like when Mortimer at the begining where he says all of a sudden “Hello something something” XD, I don’t remember the rest lol, and that moment where Rosco appears out of nowhere in that big enclosure thing, god that scared the absolute shit out of me lol and the godamm test subjects things that Riley sends from her lab -_-, god I hate those things...If you didn’t see a gameplay of it or play it, pls do, I recommend it, is a fun game, you won’t regret it ^u^. Again, happy 3rd anniversary to Hello Puppets ^u^
Otra vez, feliz aniversario a Hello Puppets ^u^
These days, VR is becoming more and more popular for gamers. VR stands for Virtual Reality. For those who love horror and all things scary, playing creepy games in a realistic setting as if they were physically there themselves is an entirely new way of experiencing fear. Because of this, the best horror games to play in VR will be presented.
1. Bendy & the Ink Machine
Unlike many of the games on this list, this one has a wide cast of characters. ‘Henry’, “Buddy Boris”, ‘Tom’ and ‘Alice’; are the best characters in the game. Beyond the cast, the entire game is a horror satire of the traditional animation from the 1920s. The game’s aesthetic alone is enough to draw players into the horrific story which lies within its cartoon walls.
2. Duck Season
There are seven endings total in the game. Unfortunately, despite one ending being particularly awesome, one of the ‘bad endings’ is considered cannon. Despite this, it’s important to unlock all the paths in the game. Each trippy route contains details to the game's unsolved story which have been scattered all throughout the in-game universe. Even if players aren’t able to put the story of the game together inside their heads, the crazy additions they unlock are worth remembering.
3. Hello Puppets
Compared to the previous games listed, this game’s story is quite simple. As long as the player takes their time to look around, the scary story is direct and simple to follow. “Scout”, is the best character in the game out of all the thin cast of characters. Of course, she isn’t a traditional ‘main character’ in addition to the player. However, this might be something new and refreshing to a regular gamer.
4. At Dead of Night
Although every game thus far has had a unique aesthetic, and or, universe; this game has a one-of-a-kind style to it. To be specific, At Dead Of Night is an FMV, a ‘Full Motion Video’ type game. The game is part horror film, part horror game and part ghost hunt. It blends live-action and graphics to create a unique immersive horror experience. All of this is combined with a great story in a realistic horror predicament.
5. Resident Evil Village
Resident Evil Village is the tenth main game in the Resident Evil series. It’s also the sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, which Biohazard is sort of a reboot to the series. Thus, Village has little to do with the previous Resident Evil games. Its story progresses fine as a stand-alone experience or a loose sequel to its predecessor for a survival horror game packed with more gun action than anything.
What do you think? Do you agree with the top picks? If not, why? What are some of your favorite VR games?
This is milly millishus and vile villainous, the photo of vile is him in hello puppets vr because I haven't drawn a pic of him just LOOKING NORMAL, and I have more OC's but im still working on them
I never got a chance to play the original Hello Puppets because it was a VR game, so I'm happy I got to this time! I really enjoy these characters! (Mortimer's my fav, because I love faux affably evil manipulative villains lol)
A few weeks back i put a unexpectedly decent amount of work into writing a shitty saw trap about the explosive Oculus VR headset that was being touted about as something to find cute, without targeting anyone or getting uncomfy with projected wrongs. I have patiently checked back in over the weeks, and i have yet to see anything of my post, but i do see posts encouraging followers of Puzzleman to submit more.
in front of you is a blog inbox, where people browsing this clunky website may submit messages for you to read and publish or respond to. Inside there may or may not be a submission from the user sending this ask, and your task is to see if you can locate it. Will you find it, and consider if it is worthy of this blog? or will it end up lost in transmission, never to be published while youre stuck with this seemingly nonsensical ask? Public or private, the choice is yours.
Chances are, it was submitted. We have a queue of over 150 right now. If it wasn't, it probably got lost somewhere along the way, or was sent as an ask.
I occasionally scroll waaayyy back to queue submissions, but I tend to gloss over asks because they take longer to tag + queue.
I got an interesting theory to think about that could be the end goal of the Handeemen. In the VR game when you come across the puppet surgery when you need to pull the organs apart, the puppet dies when you pull the one with the pin. What if Riley was experimenting a way for the puppets to live without their hosts being puppeteers? For example, they instead take certain organs out of the humans to put into themselves. And what do you know, Rosco is one of those experiments that Mortimer and Nick succeeded making it possible. That led to the creation of the rats and the blind critter. And what's worst, the original blueprints of their designs survived the fire! They could get all the resources they'll need to make new bodies of themselves and transfer their conscience into the new bodies with legs before they "reboot" their show without the need for puppeteers. Basically, living evil Pinocchios! The official Hello Puppets liked a Daisy Danger fanart post back in 2020 of that case where Daisy was a messed up form of that experiment. Whatever the next game does, another prequel or a sequel to the VR game, every human in the world is in danger.
OMG!!! OMG! OMG!
I LOVE THIS THEORY SO MUCH AND ACTUALLY MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!!!!!!
btw: The fannart was made by Buglii (they are an amazing artist and did some artwork for the MS)
I actually do believe this would totally be the case since Riley in the tapes mentions how powerful the host world is and she knows relying on humans may not be the best way to continue on their life as (she puts it) they have limit supply of how many hosts they can actually use.
I remember making some dialogue relating to a similar theory in Ambition I think. It's actually about my host (Sarabeth "Beth" Jenkins) realizing that the puppets are like a human body but they require a part that closes the part of the hole where the puppeteers are meant to put their hands inside (that sounded weirder than it should, sorry.) As that was written before the midnight show some details may not come as accurate, but to make a longer story short :
Basically is comparing the puppets to a body cut in half, like they are slowly dying to that whole making them vunerable, they use a living organism has "the other half cut" in order to survive
I honestly adore your theory and I think that is something that the puupets are planning. No matter how sympathetic they are, the puppets are truly terrifying.
