bring your kid to the spiderverse day made for Peter and Hebichi brings her little sister because she’s technically her legal guardian and her sis is the closest thing to a kid. anyways when I say Sakara gets along with everyone she GETS ALONG WITH EVERYONE. chats with Hobie (he calls her kid), paints Gwen’s nails, becomes best friends with Pav immediately and they make little clay animals together.

She goes up to Miguel and is like “oh you must be the commander!! I’ve heard all about you” and he’s like something something just his real name is fine so she’s like “okay Mr O’Hara :))” and gives him a little clay spider she made as a present and he’s absolutely tormented he misses his fucking daughter bro is going to take that spider, walk away to his office, and fucking cry at his desk.

Sakara is in her college years/entering her college years yes but she is whimsical and free from cringe and joyful and retains childlike wonder and kindness. Sweetie you are doing WONDERS from the nature vs nurture argument given that Hebichi is raising you (this is a lie Hebichi I’m sorry. obviously Hebichi is an amazing big sister even if she’s a cold aggressive spiderman)

Tw for blood, sickness, almost passing out. This is a short oc drabble.

Character(s)?: Hebichi Makikura

Raspy breathing. Just, raspy breathing. She hadn’t felt this sick in a long time, but there the herpetologist was, curled up on the bathroom floor, clutching at herself. A trickle of blood made it’s way out of her mouth, down her chin, dribbling into the puddle by her head. Her hazy eyes almost closed.

Get up.

Get up.

She had to get up.

Nails curled, clawed at the tile floor. And slowly, her fingers hooked around the edge of a cabinet door and she dragged herself into a half slump, leaning on the cabinet. Then to a sitting position.

Small movements.

It hurt. Her stomach, her muscles, her head. All of it.

Breathe.

One breath. Sucking in air, desperately, oxygen pumping through her veins and heart. Or was it through her blood? So much blood. It was too hazy to remember, really.

Second breath. Her heartbeat, low and lazy, flickered, pounding her ears. Her fingers tingled.

Third breath. Her head hurt. Every limb hurt. Her fingers clawed into the counter and she somehow got to her feet, jerky, ragged.

Fourth breath. She stumbled into the shower, momentum keeping her going. Just barely able to slump against the wall and turn on the water, clothes still on. She would take them off to wash if she could, maybe later. She just needed to get the blood off. Blood on the bathroom floor. Did she have to clean that right now…?

The water burned. It was nice.

Inhale, exhale. Force steam into your lungs, stale air out.

One breath.

Two breaths.

Three.

Something with Hebichi and Kaede, please?

Mkay, Hebichi and Kaede. Wasn't sure if you wanted a specific scenario, fluff, or a certain dynamic between them, so.

I decided to just do hanging out/friendship headcanons.

So we have Hebichi. The dark, mysterious, quiet snake lover. And then Kaede. Loud and optimistic.

They're a curious pair- it's a bit hard to tell if Hebichi actually cares about her, or is simply entertaining or tolerating her company.

Kaede often tries to get her to sing along while she plays the piano- Hebichi is not quite thrilled with that idea. She prefers not to sing for people.

However! Hebichi, when particularly lonely and not wanting to hang out with the few other people she knows, will often go to follow Kaede around. She's effectively intimidation to anyone who wishes to mess with the cheerful girl.

Kaede often tries to get her to open up- however, she usually ends up chatting and leading the conversation whenever Hebichi agrees to go to the coffee shop with her.

Out of curiosity, and an attempt to learn more about her, Kaede asks to see her lizards. Hebichi takes her to her house- or well, the basement where she has her enclosures, and shows her the lizards and salamanders. Questions are asked. Lectures are given. Kaede finds it amusing that Hebichi takes it so seriously, and jokingly asks if she's ever talked to Korekiyo and Gonta, the other scientists- super tall buff guy with tangly hair, smooth tall guy with a mask, can't miss them-

Hebichi stares blankly at her and says she's never seen them.

-What? Hasn't Kaede seen her eating lunch with that group before? Gundham and Kokichi coming over to forcefully insert themselves sometimes? Yes, she's certain she saw Hebichi calmly sliding rice through her bandages while Korekiyo swore to rip out Kokichi's nerves, Gonta trying to calm the anthropologist down- and she had seen Gundham loudly and excitedly declaring that Hebichi's bandages were proof she was a demon and that he had to see her true form, while the herpetologist in question scooted back-

Okay, so she had watched the other for a bit of a while before attempting to speak with her. Not anything extreme, though. Just absentminded staring and glances. The more she watched, the more certain she was that Hebichi knew fully well of her interest, but didn't seem to care.-

Then Hebichi blinks and says that yes, she knows them.

Was that a joke...?

Kaede leaves a bit confused, but also rather happy at the success of Hebichi making a joke- that must mean she's opening up to her a little more, yes?

Even if the joke wasn't successful.

They're not the best of friends, Hebichi simply doesn't find Kaede that interesting- yet.
