Daniel Ricciardo's younger sister, Y/n has announced herself as a sponsor for the Mclaren F1 team. She's recently admitted, "I'm proud to have my brand, Gentle Monster, in the pinnacle of motorsport. I think it's important for more girls to put themselves in the spotlight. I'm extremely honored to be partnering with Mclaren and I can't wait to see both my brand and the team go to new heights."

When asked what influenced her to partner with Mclaren instead of her brother's team, Alpha Tauri, she simply responded, "Just felt right."

Both Daniel and Y/n's fans are on opposite sides because she recently posted that Red Bull was her family. One would think that due to that, she'd want to have her brand on the number one car currently. In a recent Instagram live with Mclaren, she spoke up about not choosing Red Bull, saying, "You know, I was never really close with Red Bull but I've always been a fan of Lando Norris since my brother introduced us a few years back. You were dating Gavi for 7 months and the time spend together was the best one in your life.

Your love was so strong, and people around you were really proud that Gavi had found a girl like you.

You were going to his matches to support him, and he would be by your side when you needed him. Your relationship was something that everyone wished for.

The day when he came to you after a match just to tell you that he doesn't feel anything towards you in a romantic way caught you off guard.

Just the morning before, you two were kissing while cuddling each other, and the reason he told you was definitely a lie. You asked him since when he doesn't love you anymore, he just saying that he doesn't know exactly but it has been some time.

You started to panick. You weren't mad at him, nor were you screaming in anger, but you were really shocked and were about to cry.

You couldn't blame him for not loving you anymore. For you, he was out of your league even if he all the time used to tell you that you were the right person for him. Well, it seems like it isn't like that, at least not anymore.

Your relationship wasn't exactly publicly announced, but people knew that you were somehow seeing each other or just hooking up.

You were getting a lot of hate because you were just a stupid girl that was used by Gavi to pleasure himself. That's what people thought, but it wasn't at all true.

He loved you, and he admitted himself. He fell for you harder than he could for someone else. He couldn't live without you on his side, and when he went to the changing room after he confessed to you, he cried harder than he did all his life.

He cried like he couldn't breath and like his world just ended. Like he just ended his world.

His football friends were by his side. Nothing worked.

"I don't know why you broke up with her"

"I already told you, I feel like I don't love her anymore, but fuck cuz I still do and I don't know. I've never been in love, and I'm so scared that I got so attached to her, and if she leaves, how to live without her? It's better that it ended now."

"You really think that?" asked Lewa

"Joder, no" he said while bursing into crying.

After Gavi got home, he went to Barca' insta account and saw a video that they posted on their story while they were in the changing room "celebrating".

He could clearly see his crying face like anybody else that was looking at it.

People were around him, calming him down while his hands were on his face.

His sobs were heard over the music that was playing behind.

"Mierda" he thought.

He went to tik tok just to see your haters saying that you were the reason for his heartbreak and that after you two fcked you just blocked him and used him.

They were really angry, and Gavi felt even sadder so he wrote something and posted it on his story.

"I am really disappointed that some of you want to find drama all the time and accuse people that you don't even know. You know who I am talking about. I appreciate your concern about me, but if you post things about it, don't you dare think that it helps me. Stop hating people that you've never met! It is our life and not yours. Mind your own business! Gracias a todos!"

He posted it and then went to sleep just so your face appeared on his mind. What has he done?

You, on the other side were just staying in your bed thinking about what you could have done for him to not love you anymore. Again, people started to accuse you of breaking his heart when he was the one who broke yours. You missed him so bad that you went to his insta to see a picture of him. You saw that he put something on his story and opened it.

He for sure saw the hate coming again after you.

You were now thinking if you should call him because you deserve to know the real reason he end things between you two, but at the same time you were scared that he doesn't want to hear about you anymore, that being the reason why he posted his story, to not even see things about you on tik tok. You deep down knew it was a lie, but something inside you told you to just call him. If he will answer, good. If not, as well good.

It was really late at night and Gavi didn't pick up the phone. That's it, you thought. It's clear that he doesn't want to hear about you.

The reason why he didn't pick up the phone was that he put it on silent to that he could sleep. Tomorrow morning he had training.

The next day, when he saw that last night you called him, he started to panick and question himself if he should call you back. He knew now that you were mad at him for not answering.

He decided to do it, and when he heard something he was happy that you answered that quickly but the thing is that you blocked him, not being able to contact you.

He was so hurt, and he himself got into this, still not understanding for sure why he broke up with you. He clearly loves you and maybe being attached to someone isn't that bad, but now it was only too late.

He went to training with tired eyes. He couldn't concentrate at all, and people started to tell him to try to get over it, but even themselves knew how much he loves you and true love isn't fading in just a couple of weeks.

Days have passed, and all he could think about was still you. He hadn't heard anything from you, even if sometimes he would ask for his friends' phones so that he could see your insta page.

You didn't post much, but that little was enough for Gavi to know that you were at least healthy. He tried to talk to your friends but they only replied him that what he did was wrong and that he has to talk to you face to face and not towards messages, but that was way too complicated while being a football player and having to switch cities and countries every week.

He was on his urge to give up and let you refind your life, until one day he saw you at one of his games. His eyes sparked at the sight of you and smiled knowing that you came for him.

After the match was over, he rushed towards you.

"Y/n-"

You rolled your eyes and went away.

"No, no, please stop. I tried to reach for you to tell you the reason I broke up with you because now I so regret it but I couldn't find a way to find you please listen"

"I already gave you a chance, Gavira. I even called you the night after. Why didn't you pick up? Were you hooking up with some other girl?"

"Wha-no! My phone was on silent, and I'm sorry. I called you back the moment I saw but you decided to block me.."

"Good for me"

"C'mon, we both know that you miss me as well. Just let me explain"

"Yo, hermano, I don't miss you anymore. I'm over it, and I'm proud because of it"

"What-?"

"Yes, you heard that right. Now leave me alone"

"No, I won't. The reason I broke up with you was that I was so falling in love with you that it scared me. I got really attached and I was afraid that someday you would leave me and I would have been destroyed. That's why I decided to leave first , but the moment I didn't see your eyes anymore, I just broke down into tears. I know that's not a good reason and I should have been there for you because you got so much hate because of me and my stupid private relationship kind of thing and I want to try it again with you. I know that you are truly my soulmate and that no one can ever take my heart like you did. Maybe you don't love me anymore, but I will try to make you fall for me again if you let me.."

"That clearly won't happen Pablo"

He sighed. He was proud of himself , and he finally told his feelings but so disappointed that he lost you forever now.

"I'm sorry again, y/n." He said while turning his back at you.

"That won't happen because I still love you" you shouted after him.

He remained frozen.

"What?" he replied with a smile full of hope on his face.

"Yes, I still love you and miss you..miss us"

He smiled even more and went to hug you.

"So you are attached to me, huh, Gavira?"

He chuckled.

"How could I not be?"

After seeing all those stories of Georgia going shopping with David (I'm honestly surprised that David knows how to drive, I don't know why), I think David is fed up with so much video.

@electronic-chocolate @victorianlonging Okay, so...I have indeed seen all of the stories that are referenced here, and I think a couple of things can be true at the same time. But let's first get the visual up for anyone who hasn't seen it (all in one video, for ease of viewing):

The first thought that I had is how reminiscent this was of what we've seen recently, with Georgia filming David when he seemingly really doesn't want to be filmed (such as at that festival last month).

What also came to mind is something I think at least several of us thought of (if my DMs are any indication), which is that David is clearly, visibly annoyed. There's no real way to not notice it, with him looking incredulous in the car (though I did laugh when he said "I'm not dressed for this," given how adorable he looked without even realizing it), and then when she sets the tone by immediately using the word "content." There's no question that that's what the objective of this was: To have content of/with David that Georgia could post to garner attention.

Once they're in the store, we see him balling up the shopping bags in his hands, which to me came across as a sign of anxiety. And given how non-confrontational we know David is, it's almost amazing to hear him respond to Georgia's "Say hi!" with an immediate "Nope." And the whole thing sort of becomes what you might call a self-narrating zoo exhibit (or "self-paparazzi," as I recently heard someone aptly describe it) where David is literally just trying to shop for groceries while Georgia is sticking a camera in his face.

We also notice that at one point, David is recognized by some fans and stops to take a picture with them, which when you think about it is likely a regular occurrence, since he has one of the most famous faces in the country. But because that is the case, you'd also think he would feel a sense of relief when those interactions are over and he no longer has to be "on"...until he goes back to Georgia and she is filming him. And as good-natured as David is, there's no doubt that it must get a little tiring after a while.

All that said--and in the interest of providing a balanced perspective--it is possible that David was playing things up, to an extent, and perhaps even exaggerating some of the annoyance that we saw. And there was something else about this that stood out to me, and that deserves discussion: His shoes...

Yes, David was wearing gay pride Doc Martens. GAY PRIDE BOOTS, ladies and gentlemen and those of other gender persuasions. And when we realize this is the case, everything about this vlog/series of stories starts to gets very interesting. Because while the shoes were by no means the focal point of the Insta stories, Georgia had to know that David's eagle-eyed fans would clock them right away. And clock them they did (and I also noticed this pair of Pride-themed Doc Martens, and would not be at all surprised to learn that David owns a pair of those as well).

Leaving aside the fact that no straight man on this Earth--no matter how strong an ally--would wear those boots (I mean...come on), I almost saw this as a callback/follow up to Georgia's story from a few months ago where she appeared to use "their" pronouns when talking about David (rather than he/him). Much discussion was had at the time of this being a way to "test the waters" for David to start being more open about his sexuality/identity, and this almost feels like a continuation of that.

Having heard from queer followers of mine who are not fully out to their families/friends, it seems that it is not uncommon for folks in that position to wear things to drop little "hints" around people they are not ready to disclose to yet. And when you think about the number of "hints" from the last few months--the nonbinary pin, the pronoun Insta story, David getting emotional talking about Pride Month on that podcast, and now these new Insta stories wearing those boots--it makes you wonder if it's all building toward something.

Whatever the case may be, it's still difficult to overlook how uncomfortable David looked at times in those videos today--even if he was playing things up. For my part, I would genuinely rather never have Georgia post anything about David again than see him in her posts knowing that he is uncomfortable with it. I also agree that her hunger for content seems to be increasing, but I would also like to hope that if David did seriously ask Georgia to stop filming--for any reasons--that she would do so.

So I suppose we'll have to see what (if anything) this all leads to, and what will happen if/when she films him again. Happy as always to hear others' thoughts in the comments...

Brozone (and friends (and enemies)) twitter drama au

Collaborative between me and @squirrelpatties. Truly our magnum opus

Jd: previously a frequent twitter e-clown infamous for name searching and starting beef with people who insulted him. His fanbase thought it was hilarious in a "grandpa escaped the hospital" way. Eventually was forced to relinquish control of @/brojohndoryofficial to his pr manager (clay) after he responded to 14 y/o @/j0ndryballzweat.

Floyd (part 1): his sex tape (with a fan he didnt know was a fan but thats hardly relevant) gets leaked. For the first three days everyone's timeline was full of "do NOT share it around, dont even look for it, if someone sends it to you IGNORE it, this is a disgusting breach of privacy" until Floyd addresses it by tweeting "decided to put on a different kind of show for you guys" and all hell breaks loose. Every tweets hidden replies are full of screencaps and reuploads for a month. People edit the video so just before anything explicit happens it's replaced by a video game cutscene or meme, which Floyd retweets a lot of. His brothers ask him to stop (both for publicity and bc it makes them uncomfortable) so he starts posting thirst traps on insta. Clay yells at him so Floyd tweets "clay just asked when I'm gonna get a girlfriend :/" which brings us to-

Clay: homophobia allegations. Admittedly the least serious and would have blown over quickly if it weren't for him panic tweeting "I'm not homophobic! My girlfriend is a bi lesbian!" People were NOT happy. It takes him three days of retweeting 'helpful educational threads and carrds' on lesbianism written by 14 y/os for people to get off his back. Viva understands.

Bruce: stays off social media bc its the mind killer so he lets clay take care of @/brobruceofficial. This goes well until clay gets drunk and thinks he's on his private account but is actually on Bruce's public. When he wakes up (hungover) in the morning hes got Bruce banging on his door asking why TMZ is reporting on him cheating on his wife. You start by telling me "S is playing the narrative with" the #silly calendar girls crowd. Is he, in this instance and if so, how can you (or anybody) be so sure?

Two scenarios are at play here:

First scenario: S/his people leaked this on purpose. Therefore, S is a troll.

Second scenario: Tutschek posted it as an Instastory on purpose. Therefore, S is a victim.

If S is trolling the fandom and I believe he is (only not now and not like this), why would he leak this on purpose? To emphatically let us know they're 'obviously not together'? To stir the pot between Queen *urv and Marple? To consolidate his man whore image, just when he was taking part in a critically important event in New York? I can understand the Lord of the Rings rigmarole (grinned for days), but assuming he is behind this strange snippet would be stretching the fabric of facts a bit too much, to my taste.

Also, despite *urv's delirious opinion ("he had a bedroom voice"), I think he just sounded tired and vaguely friendly: yes, I do think it's his voice. Not earlier than Friday evening, I received a video call on Fb from M, a (Taurus, hehe) former high school mate and one of my best friends. She always makes a point of telling me stuff like "I was buying grapes at the farmer's market and thought about you, how you absolutely hate them, so I called"/"I am at the Opera with Professor So-and-So, I told him about my brilliant friend in Athens, wanna say hi ?" That would also explain why she promptly took it down: either because she realized somehow she pushed things a smidge too far or because she was strongly encouraged to cut the crap.

Seriously, whatever. This is just another episode of low-cost fuckery, irrespective of the two possibilities I just discussed. Her art is not as memorable as the bosom she generously shares with the world. It is borderline depressing and nothing to write home about, if you ask me. And the fact that the fandom quickly placed her in the same social circle with Quarantein Gia and Paparazzi Clarke, well... another major eyeroll, just here. This will happen only if you let them. These people, whoever they are, cannot challenge your reason, because there is nothing interesting or even logical about idiotic tidbits like this one. But they can and they are challenging and playing with your emotions, in order to instill doubt, insecurity, fear or disgust. I will not discuss Marple's editorial policy here (like her legally disingenuous use of someone else's material), simply because I do not want to give that derailed jukebox further space on my page. It is my sensible choice not to let these people in my world more than they deserve to be (very little). Maybe you should try it too, Anon. It could work for you as it did for me, once I came to terms with it.

i watched dom the bombs reading of book 2 and saw people making really negative comments about tillie and the book, it made me feel bad seeing how far people are going to hate on tillie instead of just the book

Yeah, I saw some of his livestream. I don't really watch his content, but I have watched the videos he did about Clementine Book One. I only watched the stream for about two minutes before I had to shut it off because it was that unpleasant, and I'm not referring to the content of the book. Then when I heard through discord that he'd gotten to chapter 9, I turned it back on and watched his reaction and the rant that followed and like... I have a lot of feelings but to put it simply, I'm kinda pissed so apologies for this long post.

Here's the deal: I don't know Dom, and maybe his reactions were exaggerated for his chat, or maybe he really does feel that aggressively passionate about twdg and what these comics have done, I don't know. I jumped into the stream the first time when he was at the part where Clementine's being introduced to new cast at the party, and it's when he was reading and said, "'John is Morro's son' I don't care" that I clicked off. Why should I keep watching when you're not going to put in any effort into the story outside of just hating on it? That's the whole vibe I got and it put me right off.

He can hate them as much as he wants [and he did say that if this wasn't about Clementine, it wouldn't be that bad], that's not my issue. My biggest issue comes when he brings Tillie into it because he always does.

I think his stream had a little bit of a ripple effect that's lead to Tillie's social media. Looking through her most recent post on insta, there are a bunch of new comments with people parroting some stuff he said in his stream... as if she needed more shit. She's been getting these comments for days now.

For those unaware, Tillie Walden just had a baby on October 4th, the same day Clementine Book Two came out, and these are pieces throughout the comments section of that post sharing the news:

I'm trying so hard to put this into words because, on one hand, I get that Dom is just one person and it's not like he can force his audience to do anything. Plus, the hate was happening before his stream so it's not like it's his fault anything... but just because he throws in a "I don't condone harassment of Tillie guys" disclaimer around, that doesn't mean he isn't contributing to the problem.

You can't go on a rant about how Ricca is Tillie's self-insert and no one can change your mind about that, and then be like "but guys don't harass Tillie, she doesn't deserve it." THAT is what people are sending her threats over! You're just validating that self-insert idea! You are contributing to the problem!

Personally, I don't think he's saying "don't send anyone harassment" because he actually gives a shit about Tillie Walden or anyone involved in the project, he's saying it to cover his own ass so no one can point any fingers at him. I'd like to be proven wrong on that. I'd love for him to be more serious about it and say more than just "I don't condone harassment" before going on to say he's gonna bring the hammer down for his review.

And y'know what? You're right. I can't change your mind about Ricca being a self-insert because you don't want to change your mind.

Both of them having glasses isn't evidence, and "they look exactly the same!" doesn't work when Tillie's art style has same-face syndrome. Slap some glasses on Olivia and oop, Olivia must be a self-insert, too!

Like... do people still not get how stories are made? Writers tend to write what they know, they draw from their life experiences and that influences their characters, settings, and plots. You know what probably happened? Tillie wears glasses, and she probably thought about how much it would suck to wear glasses in the apocalypse, and gave that idea to one of her characters.

But does it even matter? You've already decided it's not up for debate. You're not open to discussion on it. You're set on spreading "Ricca is a self-insert" to your audience, that ripples through the fandom, and a shit ton of people are weaponizing it. "Ricca is a self-insert" is why they're going after her on a post about her newborn baby.

I know how that this works. It's happened to me where I've said something only to see some of my followers weaponizing it against other people. Shit, when I was on the subreddit the other day, I saw someone misquoting me from my first read through of Book Two post: I never said I would lose my shit if they named Olivia's baby Amos Junior, AJ 2.0. I was making a fucking joke. And do you know how many times I've come across "AJ 2.0" since? An alarming amount!

When you have a platform with any amount of followers, shit you say is going to spread and it might be used poorly. There isn't much you can do about it except think about the future shit you say and how you say it. You're never going stop everyone from being shitty; some people are just insistent on being assholes, but you can always try to reach through to more people.

There is a conversation to be had about the contents of chapter 9, and how this story is leaning toward a more romantic focus over a gritty zombie drama. There's a lot to say about Ricca as a character. There are legit criticisms of these books, and criticisms to be had of Skybound for continuing the series after the games ended... but I don't think many people are interested in actually having those conversations. I think they just want to be mad. I think they want to put all the blame on one person, and since it's Tillie's name on the books, they want to hate her.

And I don't even dislike Dom or anything. He seems like a nice guy who's passionate about the games and is disappointed the comics didn't do them justice. From the parts I watched he had good points about how Skybound were the ones who hired Tillie knowing her previous work. I see where he's coming from with his dislike of the romance angle, too.

But it's the reactionary anger that feeds and grows, which again, I don't blame him for having strong feelings or reacting. I used to stream on twitch and you do get carried away; you exaggerate, you get pissed off and so does chat and suddenly everything is heated and you're bouncing that off each other. So I get it.

I guess I just dread his actual review because I know what's going to happen. And now I'm also a little worried about my review.

I'm just upset that this is what the twdg fandom's turned into. I mean, we've always had toxicity but I don't remember it ever being this bad. There's nothing I can do about it except hope people calm down.

...I can't believe this is where my character arc has led me. I'm the Tillie Walden and, to an extent, the Clementine comics defender... Well, shit.
