What are your headcanons related to Helsa and Charlie?

i’m throwing seviathan and the rest of the von eldritch and morningstar families into this:

these are all my own headcanons, and this will be very long so bare that in mind

ok so firstly, the von eldritch family comes from Envy, and are essentially only know inside that ring. Outside of it only really helsa (and i guess sev to an extent) are famous

out of the two siblings, helsa was 100% the favourite child and garnered all the attention off her parents. seviathan doesn’t hold any grudge against her for this, if anything it’s made the two of them a lot closer

fredrick and bethesda have a very unhappy marriage, and if anything having kids made it worse. the two have always hated seviathan, but bethesda saw a publicity opportunity in helsa and exploited her for this

fredrick is leviathan’s (prince of envy) less successful younger brother, so by attempting to make helsa famous he was hoping it could bring some attention to his family and live up to his brother’s name

also leviathan has a wife called vepar, i’m pretty sure i’ve posted my designs for them on this account at some point

anyway when they were children, seviathan and helsa were good friends with charlie (finally getting into what this ask was about) and never held any hatred against each other

as they grew up the three of them were close until they reached their late teens (like 17-18)

i imagine helsa wasn’t always so bitchy, but was encouraged by her mother to befriend different demons instead of charlie to boost her popularity, leading her to get roped into the wrong crowd

helsa made new friends who pushed her into a cruel and bitchy personality, this driving her and charlie apart

in terms of charlie and seviathan, i image they were set up similarly to how stolas and stella were, but instead they were never engaged and lucifer actually wasn’t aware of this

fredrick forced seviathan to move to the pride ring to be closer to charlie, but the two of them were good friends anyway so dating seemed like the natural progression

fredrick planned that if the two of them started dating and made the headlines, it could bring some much-needed attention to the von eldritch family

this did actually work for a while but then the two broke up (haven’t figured out why) and kind of shat all over that

it was probably partly to do with lucifer finding out fredrick’s intentions and forcing them to end it, and also partly internal issues between the two, either way the two break up

i like to think the three of them have sort of made up and have reconciled as good friends (because i’m still a chaggie shipper don’t forget). now back to helsa’s growing fame

after seviathan and charlie break up, seviathan decides to cut ties with his parents, and tries to convince helsa to do the same

the von eldritch parents have always been rather abusive to the two but in different ways: seviathan physically, helsa mentally

helsa is younger and unaware of her parents’ abuse, so disagrees with seviathan and sticks with her parents. once again he doesn’t hold a grudge or anything, but he still isn’t happy about her decision

helsa is pushed into many different professions by her mother, some being model, social media influencer, and the main one being a singer

helsa, like her mother, is a siren so was born with a naturally good voice. bethesda milks the shit out of this

as bethesda is desperate for helsa to succeed, she pushes many beauty standards onto her daughter, causing her to bind her fins on her arms and legs to hide them (which causes blisters and cuts from rubbing), and applying concealer directly onto her gills (which messes with her lungs)

this is about as much of my headcanons that i can share without going into ridiculously far-fetched ones (that include my many ocs, most of which i’ve never spoken about on this account). i don’t want to border on an au, but to be honest i probably already have

I said this before but with Lucifer and Lilith being separated (for now, hint hint Hazbin Hotel writers) can we agree that Fredrick and Bethesda von Eldritch should be a happy couple in the show.

I know Vivzie said most married couples in Hell are bad or they cheat on each other, but I think we should have at least another good married couple in the series (before Lucifer and Lilith get back together) and they should be said couple.

I could also see their relationship being a bit ironic as while they have a nice romantic relationship, their kids are bad with theirs, for example I can see Seviathan being a womanizer who openly flirts with girls even while dating someone, and Helsa will easily date and dump people to make herself popular, or to crush the other person's spirits just for fun.

I found something interesting from a Twitter post. It could be Bethtesda (Sevvys mother and Fredericks wife) had a redesign into a more fish like appeareance.

She closely resembles fredericks face instead the tentacle hairs like pilot bethesda.

Maybe thats explains Sevvy appeareance instead tentacle hairs and greyish hair. Both have red eyes, greenish teeths and haircolor...

And has been a victim as one of Alastors trapped souls. Which Frederick raised his own childrrn alone. Maybe Fred became crueler to his children since his overlord wife went captured?

I'm very curious about the Von Eldritch family

We can see some pictures of them in the background of Lucifer’s room, so it’s not like they don’t exist in the current series. In addition we also see pictures of them in the pilot and from what we can gather, they get along well with the Morningstar family or at least did.

From what’s known Charlie broke up with the brother and has a pretty hostile relationship with the sister. Though that’s practically all we know.

So, who are they and where did they come from?

From my knowledge they aren’t royalty, meaning they shouldn't be related to one of the seven sins. They also can’t be ordinary sinners, for 1. Lucifer wouldn’t associated with them and 2. They wouldn’t be able to have children.

Theme wise they are mostly green with a grey colour palette and seem to have hair reminiscent of octopus tendrils. Which doesn’t feel too odd as they seem to be inspired by eldritch horror, possibility Cthulhu.

Still though, how do they exist? Are they similar to the lineage of Stolas? Do they have any relation to that linage?

From what we’ve seen any hellborn in high power has some sort of role, like Stolas is supposed to read the stars and such. Plus it feels odd that Lucifer would be friends with just some random family that doesn’t have any significant role. As in, why would Lucifer want to associate with them? Or at least, associated with the father, Lucifer does have a happy picture of the two in his room, so it’s most likely a pretty close friendship. Probably pretty long too.

So, what is the role of the Von Eldritch family?

Are they just the embodiment of horror or something?

Are they in a part related to the cosmic evil that existed before hell was created?

Also, in other news, isn’t it odd that Alastor’s magic seems green?

We haven’t really seen characters with a lot of green. There is Zestial, though his green is more lime yellow, not exactly the green we are looking for. Though it is interesting that the oldest overlord has a colour pallet with green and not an excess amount of red.

In addition, I did find something fun, the fires of hell seem to be mostly green and do you know what burns green? Copper.

And do you know what copper represents? From the Wikipedia page of Copper: “In alchemy the symbol for copper was also the symbol for the goddess and planet Venus.”

And the fun fact of Venus is that it’s sometimes referred to as the “morning star”

I know it most likely doesn’t mean anything, but I thought it fun. Kinda like the fires of hell are representative of the Morningstar family. Like normal(red) flames don’t seem to hurt, at least it doesn’t hurt hellborns, but a flame infused with the power of the morning star is sure to leave a scar.

Oh! And as an ending note, the mothers seem to have a very similar hair style, maybe they also get along well?

I vaguely recall an old Hazbin Hotel post by Vivziepop somewhere where she said that it’s common for married couples in Hell to cheat on each other, which we’ve already seen in Helluva Boss and the Hazbin Hotel pilot.

If this is actually true and does become a common thing in Hazbin Hotel, I hope it doesn't happen with Fredrick and Bethesda von Eldritch as they seem like a couple that truly love each other.

That’s not to say the writers can’t have fun with such an idea as from the pics we have of Seviathan von Eldritch, he does look a bit different from his parents especially when compared to his sister, so I could see someone like Angel Dust mocking Bethesda and say she slept with someone else, only to get angry at the accusation and get into a "Real Housewives of Hell” fight with the spider demon, then an actual fight with him XD.

Do you think Bethesda von Eldritch has anything to do with Alastor's deal? Like her theme seems to be tendrils and green, which fits into what feels out of place with Alastor's powers

In addition, her and flashback Lilith's hair are pretty similar, maybe they where good friends just like the dads?

Also, considering that some octopi are known for their mimicry, I wonder if the von Eldritch family can mimic others

I think some of y'all don't realise I only got into hazbin hotel when the series proper aired and all the info I get is either from the show proper or the wiki. um. literally all I know about this lady is that she's the mother of charlie's ex? I literally have nothing else to go off of so I have no opinion on the matter I'm sorry
