Tyr and Thor

From experience I can tell you that the eldest child is ALWAYS the first one to see through the bullshit of their parents.

So Tyr is the oldest child in this verse (nothing says otherwise).

When we hear his story, we know he is this calm, peacful, loving person and that he turned on his father to save the giants and innocent people.

Being the peacful person he is, he must have relentlessly tried to talk to his father and convince him before outright turning on him. and there must have been a breaking point for him to give up on his father completely.

I thought to myself: "What was the breaking point?" and then it hit me.

Thor.

A young Thor who had accidentally killed his own mother.

Odin makes his life hell for it. Tyr begs his father to go easy on Thor.

"It was an accident. He's only a child." he would beg. The words only fell on deaf ears as Odin continued to make Thor into his killing machine.

That was the breaking point. That was the day Tyr started working towards Odin's downfall

Tyr didn't turn on Odin for giants. He turned on him for the giant that mattered to him the most.

Valhalla spoilers Y’all know the drill-

But since Mimir and Helios switch out once Kratos gets to the Greek section of Valhalla it’s just had me wondering what the dialogue would be like if at some point Helios just, popped in next to Mimir’s head.

I’d image it like this gif:

Mimir hears Helios open his mouth and half the time he just starts talking over him. Helio will start proclaiming things to/about Kratos and Mimir just going ‘blah blah blah— honestly I can’t make out whatever it is you’re sayin’ half the time you useless torch.’

I love in the GOW dlc it shows how Kratos is secretly really nosy, and he’s been relying on Atreus to ask everything. So with no Atreus around he’s hounding mimir about his love life like there’s no tomorrow. 10/10

My roommate and I just binged God of War 2018 and Ragnarok, currently playing through the DLC Valhalla. I’m not patient enough for it so my roommate is playing while I’m their hype man!

So Valhalla does address the possibility of Freya/Kratos in case anyone missed it. Mimir notes that when Kratos lamented about Freya not valuing him the same as he did her, it sounded more like "unrequited love.'' Kratos denied it , saying that wasn't the case and that there were too many reasons as to why it wouldn't happen. Kratos just cares for Freya deeply and hates disappointing her.

I, of course, am delusional and believe it was unrequited love 🤣
