When he finds you he just mocks you, like you really thought he wouldn’t find you how cute

He’s gonna stick you with antenna a lot more often to make you do stuff you would never willingly do and he’s gonna make sure you remember every bit of it

Phinks

He’s heartbroken, you didn’t love him? Sure he kidnapped you but he was so nice, he got you gifts, fed you, never forced you to do anything and he let you do whatever you wanted in the fairly big house (he’s a but Delusional)

He’s a close second to shalnark when it comes to finding you in sense of time give or take about three and a half years

When he does find you he’s not gonna be as nice as he was before, your not gonna get sweet little gifts or the privilege to go around the house freely and he’s not gonna brush off your attitude anymore, from now on your getting locked away when you give him any sass

even though he tried his hardest to prevent it He knew it would happen eventually, he let his guard slip gave you to much freedom

It’s gonna take him about five years to find you because he has to focus on other stuff such as the troupe

When he gets you back your never gonna see the light of day again, your locked I and chained In his basement from now on and while it’s a nice basement with carpeted floors, a nice bathroom and a big bed with lots of fluffy blankets that he often joins you in your only there for his pleasure now

He regularly pins you down and forces you to do stuff that he didn’t make you do before whispering how it Could be different the whole time

Illumi is savage, has every person in the zoldyck manor out looking for you and that intensity doesn’t go down if anything it gets worse the longer it takes to find you

It’ll take him about four years to find you and when he does your in for it

First he’s gonna beat you black and blue, he’s gonna break both you legs in the process and that’s the only thing you’ll be allowed to see a doctor about

He’s gonna try and get you pregnant as soon as he can and if you where kicking and screaming before he would have stopped but not anymore now your getting tied to the bed frame and having a gag in your mouth

Hisoka

He’s the calmest out of all of them, he knew it would happen, he’s not happy about it but he’s not a total mess like some of these guys

It’s not his top priority to find you but it is up there, so it’s gonna take him about seven years to find you

When he finds you your getting the beating of a life time, I’m talking broken ribs, and kicked out teeth, he will pay machi to come fix you up but he might do it again if you annoy him

He didn’t hit you before but he does now, oh you dropped a glass worth ten bucks? Your getting smacked up side the head

And lastly from now on when you sleep it’s on the cold ground with a chain leash attached to his bed frame around your neck no more comfortable pillows

OMG 😳 Can I request a Chrollo x F!reader with a reader who has the death note just like h death note that light yagami has? And btw Chrollo and the reader just met each other, the reader is new to the heavens aerna but suddenly became a floor master so fast, and now Chrollo wonders why (it's the death note)

           "It's just a notebook, what's so special about it?" Uvogin sniffed, glaring down at the black composition notebook Chrollo held with a napkin.            "I don't know, that's why I stole it." The leader of the spiders hummed, turning the book over, careful to not touch the thing directly in case it had been poisoned or cursed somehow. "I tried stealing that girl's power, but she doesn't seem to have one. But she never goes anywhere without this book, so there must be something about it if not her."            "And you're so interested in this girl so suddenly because...?"

This was a pretty normal sort of conversation for Uvogin. He had never been a very strong strategist, or super inquisitive like Chrollo had been. Where Chrollo sought to learn all he could to improve his plans and prepare for the future, all the hulking mass of power cared for was a good fight and fun. So, the head spider was sure to put it simply.          "Well, she's become a floor master in record time. So, she obviously has a great amount of power. Meaning, she'd be a wonderful addition to our group." That made the man nod in understanding, but Chrollo doubted he cared beyond the potential for a fight. So, he simply returned to examining the notebook without further attempts to explain his plot.

Opening it at last, with the utmost care, he found that it had a slew of rules on the back of the front cover, written in english. But, the universal trade language wasn't the surprise, the rules themselves were. With talk of how the user couldn't go to heaven nor hell, how any name written in the notebook would die in the specified manner or of a heart attack if left vague. They were scarily dark for some form of prank on potential thieves.

Turning a few pages with his napkin, Chrollo found that, sure enough, you had written down your opponents names like the book dictated. Using quite a few creative methods to off those you had to fight. Which, at least explained how someone who seemingly didn't use Nen, was a terrifyingly undefeated floor master.

Not even Hisoka was keen on jumping into a fight with you due to the mystery of your powers. So, finding out that you were nothing more than a regular person who somehow found this lethal book was rather intriguing.           "We need to keep watch on this woman." Chrollo decided after a thorough flip-through of the notebook. Uvogin shrugging,           "Alright, we'll go ahead and snatch her u-"           "No. Just watch her." Chrollo reiterated firmly, earning a confused look from his group.           "Why? What's the purpose of wasting our time watching her when we can just kidnap her and hold her hostage?" Faitan asked, but the leader shook his head,           "I don't want her kidnapped, I want her watched and observed. Don't approach, don't kidnap her, just observe everything she does and everyone she's around." He ordered, closing the notebook and standing up to leave.

He didn't really care if his group was confused at his order, he was more curious over you. He didn't care about their opinion, he wanted to know how and why you had that lethal notebook.

I know that after those 2 small Madoka thoughts I had I said I'd stay in my lane but my film/media brain is like "hey hey hey remember that "cool" thought you had?" So. Even though Chikage is still not my lane, my film brain wants to discuss the neatness/niftyness/cleverness (idk which word I'm looking for) of Act 8 & the slight step further it could've been pushed, in reference to Act 5 of course. Besides if the Zafran princes are my lane(I'm kinda forcing myself on them actually, I'm probably not the best person to claim them but here we are), and Citron is both a Zafran Prince & in Spring Troupe and Chikage is in Spring Troupe, Chikage is my lane adjacent. Still though if I say something that makes you go "well actually" please ignore me. Let me have 0 notes due to being wrong about something, it's okay. Really.

TABLE OF CONTENTS:

Act 5 (Chikage's storyline) recap - Paragraph 1 Act 8 (Zafra storyline) "mini" recap -Paragraph 2 Cleverness - Paragraph 4 The Potential Push - Paragraphs 5-8 Conclusion - Paragraph 9 Too long, didn't read: I like the parallel between Chikage's abducting to destroy in Act 5, & rescuing to protect in Act 8. As a film major I feel the rescue coulda been used to move his relationships forward in a way had there been any (realistic) animosity/hesitance lingering.

So as we all may or may not (idk) know, in Act 5 Chikage infiltrates Mankai by being let in through the front door(he's undercover shush!) and sees how Mankai is one big happy family. Feeling betrayed by Hisoka/having some misinformation he decides to get his revenge: Hisoka entered then ruined his happy family (and abandoned him), so he would do the same to Hisoka. In this he comes up with a simple Preminger plan: Izumi, the center of Mankai, goes missing, Mankai disbands. (This plan would've worked best if he snatched up Sakuya alongwith Sakyo &/or Isuke too, just saying. Those four are the reason Mankai stands today. Fact. But also imagine them having to navigate the coleads, director, financer and manager mia, woulda been harder to pull off and come back from but Mankai woulda been a mess) So he kidnaps Izumi, Hisoka comes to save & reconcile, they all go home. Izumi lies for Chikage, Chikage later shares that he actually did abducted her(without reasoning as to why ehich leaves open a bit of skepticism but yada yada we get the point).

In Act 8, (let's see how quick I can give the setup), Guy comes and reveals Citron is next in line for the throne and that there are some others who support his brothers being next in line and of them there are extremists(every cause has some extremists am I right or am I right?), Citron knowing Chikage got the capabilities to make people disappear w/out a trace asks Chikage to help him dip for Zafra early w/out Guy (also remind me to write about Citron's "selfishness"(there's a different word I'm thinking of but this'll have to do) pls I have thoughts); Mankai first begrudgingly accepts this but then they're like "No! Who broke it?" and head down to Zafra to get an explanation from Citron 'cause "dude what the heck?" They make it just in time to find out about a plot to keep him from ascending to the throne and that he's been kidnapped. Here Chikage steps up to the plate to find and save Citron from being kidnapped.(Itaru goes too but we're not here to talk about how he was prepped to die to save his wife<3, gosh I love love). (Kinda lengthy but I can't help making side notes & jokes lol)

So now that I've said a whole lot of nothimg, let's discuss the cleverness and how it could've been pushed.

Of course you've probably caught onto the cleverness yourself, a person who once abducted someone before a big event now is rescuing someone kidnapped before a big event. He is actively working in another person's best interest and to help sustain a family rather than aim to cause one to crumble out of his own desires of revenge. Of course, he vowed to protect the Mankai family at the end of Act 5, the parallel itself is still neat. And there's double the families he's sustaining in saving Citron here because not only is he saving a member Mankai/Spring Troupe's family but also of the Zafran royal family (why don't they have a last name >~<; that's so long winded), which allows a place for there to be a return after their punishment for suresies because if it had gone worse...

So now that that's been addressed how can this have been pushed further. Well. It could've been Chikage proving how much he's grown to care for and how much he means it when he says that he is devoted to protecting Mankai, which it kinda was in a bit of a less stated way. But also! While A3! is a clever series with compelling characters and storylines, there are some aspects that fall a little flat in the realism department at times, if they commited to being a bit more realistic w/ certain forgiveness storylines, this would've been a great moment for someone to feel more open to trusting Chikage. Like especially w/ him already being concerned about Mankai being upset with him for agreeing to & succeding to send off Citron. If it was like "man I'm still walking on eggshells a bit because even though people are nice to me and accept me they still don't fully trust/like me, I'm so not going to be increasing my score w/ any of them this way" and then him actively going to save and succeding in saving a cherished member of Mankai, with complete resolve and trying to keep everyone safe. That's something that could've really been something. Like not to say it wasn't anything or anything, just like it could have been a shift in the story. Like they love Chikage but do they trust him? They don't have much of choice. Obviously this can only be properly done with characters who would have animosity, coulda been there, and if it was something mentioned between the two points but yea.

(Reminder: my "lane" is the Zafran Princes so if I say anything inaccurate to any other character they're not my lane. (my current tag for them (tho I am considering changing it) is "Citron & his brothers" if you want to see anything I've said about them. (here's a good place to start, me thinks)(yea pretty shameless self promo but eh) I'm kinda dumb and know nothing tho so idk if any of it's at all good or something you'd agree w/ but I feel alright about the stuff I've said lol). I'm not a great writer or anything but I think if they had decided to take that route the best Spring Troupe options for that kinda dynamic woulda been Masumi or maybe Tsuzuru. (Had to choose Spring Troupe to go along with the setup that's already there, any other troupe and I might have to change big story details & that's not the goal here, the goal is elevating what's already there) Why these two? Well I'm less sold on Tsuzuru but I feel like he has more realistic and negative-leaning views sometimes, like he feels like a person who feels like he might stay cautious about a person who's done some shady things. Masumi other the hand is already a bit less of a people person, has he grown alot already yes, however, he is still someone who very much (haha kinda like Chikage) has a strong desire to protect those important to him and Chikage litterally abducted Izumi who was dire in Masumi being able to connect with more people and have those he wants to protect and do things for and she's at the top of that list of people. Sure she doesn't hold anything against Chikage but she's Izumi. She's a very caring and forgiving person. I could see someone like Masumi being a bit on gaurd and skeptical partly on her behalf.

I'm sure it'd be a little harder to pull off with what the situation was but I do think it's plausible & do-able. I mean, if I recall correctly, at this point most of Mankai are unaware why Chikage kidnapped Izumi in the first place(I think Hisoka, Izumi, and sorta the rest of Winter Troupe and Sakuya knew around the time it happened) so if one of them(not the ones I just specified) were somewhat weary of him it could make sense, I think reasoning is something that I can see being important to Masumi and Tsuzuru and that's something Chikage didn't divulge, so it feels like Chikage did it for "no reason". Though I do want to say I think if we took one if these routes reasoning would be important to them in different ways. Tsuzuru would be more mentally like but what was the reason tho, while Masumi would think less about that he didn't give his reasoning and compartmentalize it as no good reason as he had his chance to explain but didn't, which I wanted to bring up because because imagine with me if you please, Masumi accepting Chikage being around but lowkey not fully trusting him bcause he clearly had no good reason for abducting Izumi. Chikage plays vital role in rescuing Citron maybe he is okay to trust a bit more and maybe (flashfoward to Magician's Pure Love) Masumi can hear out what reason Chikage had for his actions, because maybe even if it was wrong and something he shouldn't have done, maybe he does have a reason. (See I'm tying things together)

My only hesitance really being the comparison of how important Izumi and Citron are to this character (because they're the ones in the situation not the weary character) but it simultaneously makes me want to hit floor it because they're equally important. Or something. Idk honestly. Just, i it was Masumi for this route I could see that being a nice reminder he cherishes his whole family. (I know Act 5 kinda already is that but I'm just throwing paint at the wall okay? This is only my lane adjacent.) I guess while I'm here let's discuss why not Izumi or Citron being the person for this to drive the relationship forward. Well. I think even if Izumi reasonably had a small fear of or discomfort with Chikage after Act 5 she would actively be workimg herself to getting over it. For it to be something to drive their relationship it would definitely have to be a thing between the two of them. Meanwhile, Citron literally trusted Chikage to keep his secret that he was leaving early and help him do so. I think they're in an okay place.

So yea, maybe this whole idea is dumb or too movie or something, Idk I have film major brain, but it's something I think about sometimes(not as much as I laid out here but the concept). Like obviously in part the rescue's probably partially there with something similar to that in mind but like instead it's to prove Chikage to the viewers rather than to Mankai, however I also think that it's okay in media to make characters have to work for people(read: other characters) to forgive and/or be comfortable around them. Like sure sure some people will forgive you pretty early on and water under the bridge and all that stuff. And some people won't mind being around you. But some people might be completely unaware as to how much they subconciously don't trust you. Some might be like okay we're cool but we're not cool. For some people all this depends on how well they feel they know/understand you and which actions they've seen to help determine your character to them, you know? And I like complicated/layered/complex dynamics and relationships, so I personally woulda found it neat to have something like that within the story. But who am I lol

Sorry if this seems really obsessive and is way too long or whatever but It’s so common for me to make so much lore whenever I make an oc specifically to ship with a canon character (I have ideas that could literally be a novel franchise for my Hisoka oc ugh) the tism in me just gets way too ahead of itself tbh and whenever someone is like “ooh tell me about them :D” I literally go crazy.

Veteran one piece fans, please let me know if any of this goes against one piece logic, I’m still really new to the fandom and this is a new oc too, so if I need to change anything/get rid of a piece of lore then please let me know😭

So if you haven’t seen my latest info post on her name is Ivyeri(pronounced Ivory) VanHelsing, she ate the stitch stitch fruit which is a mythical zoan fruit that’s a Frankenstein/Monster type.

This devil fruit her replace her body parts with quite literally anything, she can use whatever she replaces her parts with like it’s apart of her body; she often puts weapons on her body, and into her body as well.

In Impel Down, she lost her leg from severing it to get out of her chains so she had to replace it with the wolf leg.

Whenever Ivy takes off a body part, since it’s not connected anymore her brain can’t control it, so it becomes sentient. Since the parts she can control are determined by if her brain can connect to them or not, this means if her head is completely served her entire body can become sentient as well. Whenever Ivy does this(usually when she’s using her full body weapon suit which I haven’t drawn yet) she keeps her headless body sedated in a tank.

SO, on to her entire story and how she meets Buggy(under the cut if you’re interested bc it’s super long oof) warning for me rambling and on going sentences bc I wrote some of this on my break.

I created a town that she lives in, it’s a really corny name that I don’t feel like saying bc I’m gonna get roasted for it😭but, it’s located on a desolate island, literally nobody knows it even exists and the people who accidentally come across it just leave bc they’re so freaked out. Buggy and his crew see the island in the distance and he thinks “another town to pillage hehe” however, upon arriving there and making a flashy✨ entrance he’s met with the towns people just staring at him with dead glares in their eyes. Buggy and his is obviously freaked out, so he just tells his crew to just stock up on food and booze before getting the hell out of there.

Ivy sees him when he arrives and immediately falls in love, love at first sight. She wants to approach him but is too nervous and thinks her appearance will scare him away(she thinks her stitches make her ugly and grotesque). So Ivy comes up with the idea of moving some signs around to lead Buggy into getting lost in a graveyard. It works and when Buggy is lost in the maze of gravestones, Ivy appears behind him, sitting on a grave and subtly flirting with him, thinking that the heavy fog of the town obscures her appearance.

Buggy can clearly see her, but he has seen crazier people in his time of being a pirate so Ivy’s stitches don’t even register in his head bc he’s too busy panicking over getting lost in a graveyard and now some lady is talking to him?

They talk, flirt with each other, Buggy obviously letting her inflate his massive ego, Ivy offers to lead him out of the graveyard(even though she’s the one who led him there in the first place). Ivy leads Buggy back to his crew. One of the pirates accidentally bumps into her and she face plants right into Buggy’s chest and they have this “ooo accidentally falling right into your crush’s arms🥰” moment before it’s ruined by her wrist coming off and holding onto Buggy’s shirt when she pulls away. They’re both freaking out, Ivy apologizing profusely while trying to take her hand back.

Buggy screamed only for a moment before being like “This girl can take her body parts off too?!” And he falls in love and (politely)demands her to join his crew(not because he wants to bang her immediately or anything..) after that they’ve been together for 8 years🥰

She doesn’t really have a prevalent role in the orangetown arc, however she does take control of Buggy’s crew after he’s bazooka-ed to a whole other island.

While Buggy was presumably pronounced dead by his crew, Ivy strayed away from them to mourn by herself, which meant she didn’t get kidnapped by the cannibal tribe(she didn’t care about Buggy’s crew at that point since she thought he was dead) however, when Buggy came back with Alvida, Ivy was even more heartbroken than she was when she thought he was dead.

K so I kind of ripped off one of my own fan fictions with this part of her story, I just thought it would’ve been good character development for her so if you want the basics of what happens, here’s the fic.

Ivy breaks up with Buggy bc she thinks he’s cheated on her, or is going to cheat bc Alvida is literally gorgeous. After that, she leaves the Big Top and devises a plan to make a name for herself and become a fearsome solo pirate just to make Buggy jealous and show him that she’s doing just fine without him.

Overtime she becomes extremely brooding and even more colder than before; each one of her accomplishments are fueled by anger and jealousy. Over time she convinced herself that Buggy had forgotten about her and moved on with Alvida which fueled her to succeed even more.

Which, she did succeed, but she got way more than she wanted to. After an accidental conflict with the marines, she ended up getting a Impel Down level 5 worthy bounty.

Buggy and Ivy don’t directly interact much during Impel Down and Marineford bc both of them think that the other hates them/forgot about them, but when they do reunite they start this dynamic where the two of them are trying to look cool/badass just to get the other’s attention(Also, Ivy’s severed leg I mentioned earlier, it somehow found Buggy on level 2 and he’s been keeping it from her the entire time).

The entire time, Buggy didn’t know why Ivy broke up with him, he thought that she broke up with him bc of his “ugly red nose” and cried for months. Everything reminded him of Ivy. He hoarded all of her old clothes that she left behind and used one of her old tops as a pillow case.

They finally get back together during the cross guild, Ivy joins alongside Crocodile and Mihawk. When she sees the way that the two men beat and abuse him over everything she gets pissed off and vows to protect Buggy at all costs, leading to them having a heart to heart, finally talking things out and getting back together again.

I have more lore with her but it involves other ocs I’ve made for one piece and it doesn’t really add to her relationship with Buggy loool

I have another oc I’m not sure about adding to her lore since idk if this is already an existing character in One Piece bc he’s vaguely mentioned in canon, but Davy Jones is her father and had the same fruit as her when he was alive. They’ve never met.(This is an excuse for me to make a goth dilf)

More facts about her!

-Ivy is a weaponsmith, she makes weapons for herself and Buggy’s crew(when she was apart of it)

-She’s 5’9, 27 years old before the timeskip and 29 years old after

-Ivy likes collecting bones.

-Ivy has a pet cat named Princess who was Richie’s biggest opp. Before the time skip he was the same size as a regular house cat, but currently he’s the size of a Liger.

-She stole Alvida’s old ship when she left the Big Top and customized it to fit her vibe

-She stole a manticore from Impel Down, adopted it, and named it Buggy Jr.

-She also adopted a giant frog and named it after Buggy as well

-A week after the breakup Ivy tried to make a replacement Buggy by digging up a recently deceased guy and playing Frankenstein(using a toy ball as a replacement nose). Things didn’t work out when the guy regained his memory and reunited with his wife.

-As a pirate, people call her by her last name. No relation to the actual Van Helsing though I just thought the name sounded cool.

Sibling Rights Second Quarter Round Results:

We had over 10 more people joining in this quarter, and the results have been fascinating! Let's see how everyone did!

Clover and Snake win over Akane and Sho at a whopping 87.5% of the votes!

The match between Lelouch and Nunnally and Seto and Mokuba was a fascinating thing to watch! Lelouch and Nunnally took the lead early with 100% even after several votes, but Seto and Mokuba clearly had a team of loyal fans on their side, spending the two days ever so slowly inching closer before reaching a 50/50 split... it wavered for a while after that, but in the end the winners were Seto and Mokuba, triumphing over Lelouch and Nunnally with a victory snatched from the jaws of defeat at 58.6%!

Our siblings from literature had a much more uneven match, with Violet, Klaus, and Sunny winning over Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy at a full 84.6%!

Velvet and Laphicet were another team that started out with a great advantage, but Flora and Felicia had a solid group of fans too! Unfortunately for them, it just wasn't enough this time--Velvet and Laphicet won at 55.9%!

Turns out complementary colors really do have the advantage--Mario and Luigi won over Yang and Ruby at 81.4%!

Beat and Rhyme win over Chikage, Hisoka, and August at 67.6%--the world may end with them, but the tournament clearly doesn't!

Our overwhelming victory this quarter goes to Phineas and Ferb, beating out Buffy and Dawn at a shocking 92.5%!

And finally, physical and mental prowess combine to win the day as action hero Raiden and kid genius Sunny triumph over Ramza and Alma at 67.9%!

Thought I’d throw my hxh masterlist some headcanons! This time for Hisoka, since Illumi has got, and is going to get, a lot of love on this blog until I get requests for others lol.

Ohhhh boy, you're fucked if Yandere Hisoka gets an interest in you.

He will introduce himself, maybe warm you up to him for a bit, than insert himself into your life whether you want him to or not.

You probably won't get kidnapped by him, but he's far more sadistic to his partners than Illumi is.

Hisoka is basically an indoor-outdoor cat, whether he's yandere or not, so he won't stick around too much for long periods, but when he does leave you, be assured that your life will be ruined once again.

Like Illumi, Hisoka is very jealous.

However, unlike Illumi, he won't simply use sex to torture you. No, Hisoka will break your bones, burn you, bite, cut, or even stab you if he's jealous over you showing too much attention to anyone. Female or Male, he doesn't care, he will take any jealousy as a chance to hurt you.

You wouldn't be able to outrun Hisoka. Well, for one, you're actually safest if you're not super aggressive. You might attract Illumi, but Hisoka mostly goes for challenging or fun people. So, as long as you're too submissive or non-confrontational to stand up to him at all, you're safe.

Body-type-wise, he's still not super picky. He doesn't care whether you're chubby, scrawny, buff, or anything else. So long as you entertain him, he likes you.

If you're a trained fighter, you run the risk of attracting the magician. He likes a good fight, it's one of his biggest turn ons, so if you can fight him, he's more likely to become obsessed with you.

While he will go after quiet people, he usually won't stick around a lot. They're fun to fluster or push the buttons of, but beyond that he'll get bored.

Hisoka is quite the finicky man, coming and going freely and sleeping with whoever he wants on his adventures. However, if you sleep around with anyone, he will get majorly pissed.

While he's less likely to kidnap you, 'cheating' on him will surely get you snatched up and isolated.

If you weren't that interesting to him, he's more likely to let you go once he's bored, but if you're not, he's likely to kidnap you, break you, and, only when he can no longer find a way to keep you around, kill you swiftly.

I agree! Kalluto does need more love. I apologize for taking so long to answer this but I hope you enjoy the scenario! :) 

A woman with (length of hair) and (color of hair) was hard at work. She once had delicate and soft hands, like all young girls start with but through hard and difficult years she was a woman whose hands were rough and marred. She wasn’t elegant or tried to be, though sometimes she imagined what she be like if she was. She imagined growing up in a rich family or having a special nen ability but of course, they were fantasies. Her nen was (input her nen ability); it wasn’t at all special or unique. But don’t get it wrong she was very happy, she found a misfit family where she belonged, the phantom troupe.

Currently, her (color of eyes) eyes focused intently on the task in front of her, her mission. She looks to her right at the instructions and then back at her creation. She wasn’t one to give up on anything. This was a science, so precise because one wrong move could end in failure. She needed to be careful, her previous attempts were failures; just look at the trash can next to her. It was filled to the top but yet again she wasn’t one to give up on anything because after all, this was a very important mission.

She definitely was not going to ask for help from the newest recruit. He irritated her, not a lot like Hisoka or worse Omokage but he irritated her. She knew if she asked for his help he would display that air of superiority over her like she was below him, even though she was his senior, his senpai.

“Damn irritating piece of Zoldyck trash” she hisses. She starts messing up even skipping steps, annoyed by her thoughts about Kalluto Zoldyck. Her thoughts fuel a kindling rage which gets out of hand making her blind until the last step in the instructions in which she realizes she messed up by looking at her creation.

“God damn it, go to hell” she yells bamming her fist on the wooden table making all the items rattle and shake for a few seconds. She ruffles her hair angrily before tossing her mistake behind her, uncaring she was making a mess. She pulls out a new piece of clean and firm paper and places it before her. She feels the four sharp corners of the paper are mocking her which annoys her. They remind her of the brat’s eyes, mocking like, just like this paper.

At the top of her instructions reads, ‘Easy Fish Origami’ with a total of 13 steps and 13 steps she had repeated many times. Enough times her fingers were bandaged from papercuts from being clumsy. Somehow she misreads or skips a step each time she tries but all she has to do is ask for help from Kalluto who is a master at origami but she refuses, being stubborn.  

“101” she mutters in a trance and mumbles more words, “I’ll get it right this time.” She was pumped up she was going to get it right this time and suddenly she is spooked by a soft voice in her right ear, “101, so pitiful. Are you really a spider?”

However, before she could scream and throw a fit, her arch nemesis or what she considers her arch nemesis, Kalluto Zoldyck clicks his tongue at her while grabbing her hand that was about to fold the paper wrong, speaking haughtily, “You are already folding this wrong. There are only 13 steps.” She blushes and turns her head away, embarrassed he was leaning over her shoulder, speaking in her ear, and now holding her hand. He also caught her messing up… 

“I know what I am doing,” she mumbles and answers his question, “And yes I’m a spider, and don’t speak so familiar with me.” He ignores her and grabs her other hand and starts guiding her hands, “This is how you do it,” he hums softly. After the fifth step, she starts paying attention realizing how easy it was but she also notices how soft his hands were compared to her.

‘Was he really a man?’ she thinks, remembering the first day she was introduced to the newest spider recruit. She thought he was a girl for the longest time before she walked in on him changing. That was indeed embarrassing for her… She huffs, they were already on the ninth step, “You are making this look easy!” she jeered and complains, “You aren’t even looking at the directions.”

“You want to continue making paper balls or a fish?” he asks snottily while moving onto the eleventh step. She mumbles a defeated, “No,” allowing her fingers be guided by his hands completing the twelfth step. It already looked like a fish and she was getting more excited feeling accomplished even though she was getting help.

“There, see how easy it was,” he says softly before sitting seiza next to her, compared to her who was sitting cross-legged. She lifts the fish up admiring how pretty it was, “thank you” she chirps happily despite Kalluto being her arch nemesis. She wasn’t one not to say her thanks to anyone who has helped her.

“Of course” Kalluto says, having a closed smile on his face pleased by her words. “Do you want to make other animals or something else?” he asks.

She gets a big smile on her face, her eyes sparkling, “Yes, please!” and brings the lips of the fish to his mouth going, “Chu, Chu, Chu,” before saying, “Thank you.” she draws the fish away and props it up on the table in admiration. She starts speaking childish like her earlier actions enjoying his attention, “I want to make a kitty and ohh oh a puppy too.” She fails to notice his blush more focused looking at the fish on the table.

He brings the sleeve of his kimono to his face, coughing a bit before removing it doing his best to get over his embarrassment. His eyes advert from her muttering, “That’s not a proper kiss….” She turns and looks at him confused not hearing him, “Huh? What did you say?”

It’s too late and he quickly leans over and pecks her lips before answering, “That’s a proper kiss.” Her face goes red immediately, “Y-you, Y-ou, dirty thief!” standing up and pointing her finger at him. He starts laughing because the phantom troupe are thieves finding her words comical, “Of course aren’t we all,” he laughs.

Realizing how absurd she sounded she takes off only to come back snatching her fish before shutting herself in her room for a long time while Kalluto found her antics amusing and cute.

Favorite character: KILLUAAAA

Least Favorite character: Tempted to say Hisoka because of how gross he is, but he is a really interesting character in terms of his role in the story. I’ll go with Pariston. Ging’s also in the running.

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Killugon’s really the only thing I ship, but Leopika is good and I support it. Meruem and Komugi is also good? Weird gray area as far as romance but they have a very strong love for each other.

Character I find most attractive: Kurapika is a pretty boy

Character I would marry: None of them I just want to adopt the main four.

Character I would be best friends with: I’d love to be Gon’s friend

a random thought: I really hope Madhouse makes more of the anime once there’s more manga material to warrant like, 26 episodes or something. I don’t want to have to wait another 15 years for them to get enough to do 100 more episodes, lol.

An unpopular opinion: The chimera ant arc is not poorly paced and needed to be as long as it was to have the proper impact, you can’t change my mind. (like “it has been three minutes” is ridiculous but necessary)

Most Badass Character: The main four are all really badass. And as much as I hate to say it, Hisoka’s fight against Chrollo in the manga was pretty hardcore too.

Most Epic Villain: Meruem’s definitely my favorite villain of all of them. He’s this character that was built up as invincible in combat, a murder machine with no empathy for humans, and a heartless ruler even against his own people. But through Komugi he learns love and how to care for others, and when he dies, it’s because love killed him, not by being overpowered or outsmarted. It may feel like an odd ending to the arc because narrative dictates the main character defeats the main villain but I really actually like how Gon and Meruem never meet, and Gon instead goes all-out against Pitou. When will your fav story ever have such a compelling character arc?? never.

Pairing I am not a fan of: I see Kurapika and Chrollo so often and it just makes me wonder why.

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): no one? Togashi instead snatched my wig and I haven’t gotten it back since.

Favourite Friendship: Gon and Killua take this one too and you can’t possibly disagree.

Character I most identify with: I see a lot of myself in Killua (which is probably why he ended up my fav but he’s also just A Good Boy)

Character I wish I could be: I don’t really wanna be anyone they all suffer an unimaginable deal. Alluka seems tempting because of the giant room of stuffed animals? But like, without the abuse and being locked up because your own family is afraid of you.

003 | Star Butterfly

How I feel about this character: I LOVE HER. She’s such a dumb, goofy, bright, fun girl and is always a joy to watch onscreen. Her voice actor does a really good job too; the way she says MARCO is iconic.

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Her and Marco. No-brainer.

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Her and Tom is a really interesting dynamic though I’m a Starco fan at heart. I also love how troubled her relationship with both her mom and Eclipsa is.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I don’t think I have one.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: The story’s not quite over yet so I’m hoping some of the things I vaguely want will still happen.

Favorite friendship for this character: Star and Marco, Star and Tom, Star and Tom and Marco. I’ve got my eyes on the beach day.

oh shit

wait, let’s get this out of the way, this is talking about hunter x hunter, kidnapping, r*pe, and abuse will be mentioned, and as this post talks about what just happened to gon, if you’re thristy for hisoka, illumi, any other of the creeps in this show or some weird shit, keep scrolling please. don’t interact!!!

so i’m watching the 1999 hunter x hunter, bc someone mentioned that hunter x hunter was really dark and that it hides it under the perspectives of the character that don’t react the same ways and that things go on a lot darker than it seems. i had seen a bunch of posts like this from the bigger fans that i’d seen post meta, and I didn’t really think that was true up until the chimera ant arc, which since I’d already known what was going to happen, i decided to stop watching the series for a while...

so, coming back into the series, I was expecting things to be ‘darker’ because of what I’d actually managed to watch from the 2011 version. up until the chimera ant arc, it didn’t really hit me that gon and killua were in such terrible situations. like gon losing his arms, killlua being so terrified that he killed his contestant in the hunter exam and ran back home thinking illumi would kill his new friends if he didn’t go back, everything they went through learning nen. 

but for some reason, i don’t know what it was, but i always figured that even if something were to happen, there’d always be a way to fix things, the author wasn’t going to let anything happen to the main trio because that’s who the story is told by; from the perspective mainly of gon, but then expanding to include leorio and kurapica, then killua. 

during the time that the narrative focused on leorio and kurapika, things were always tense, the gravity of the situation was more dire and there’s this do or die mentality as both leorio and kurapica grasp the full weight of the situation. with killua you don’t ever really worry about what’s going on, but still he’s more wary about things, still expects the worst and makes sure to keep his guard up. he’s been in enough bad situations that he’s not willing to leave anything to chance.

but with gon. that wasn’t really the case. while i was seeing gon through his perspective, you start to let your guard down. while i didn’t like the villains or the people that were hurting gon and his friends, gon’s sunny and persistent optimism at least keeps you thinking that if he works just a little more (as his experience is limited, but he still makes personal leaps and bounds in his survival skill). but because of this, whenever the story was on gon’s perspective really didn’t leave me expecting bad things to happen, as there’s always something or someone that saves him when he’s in his worst moments and true danger is always averted. I kinda just glossed over his story at first, because even though gon is my favorite character, he doesn’t often come out and say what’s going on in his head. you get more of how he’s feeling in small expressions, actions, and what he says, as he always sticks to his word. the narrator rarely says exactly what gon is thinking, but his actions are the main point of his conveying about how he feels about a situation. a ‘shower’ and not someone who really communicates well. 

i was expecting more shounen because of this, thinking that while it’s really great, it’s going to follow the shounen tropes of gon or killua getting hurt to a point that they could no longer comment on the story or interactive with things. (i know, i’m saying this badly, but i’m rambling fuck)what i mean is, when i was watching killua and gon, I went into the story with the mindset that this was going to be like most shounen. i wasn’t expecting a really deep story from the two of them, save for their adventures and strong friendship, like most stories like these do. you know, follow them as they grow and become better characters than they were before. it’s like one of the main things that keeps me coming back to adventure games and shounen/adventure genres. and i was really wrong to do that, because I didn’t care to look too deeply into things, just accepting them as they were

until the chimera ant arc. at that point, the whole belief that nothing is going to permanently hurt gon or killua goes right out the fucking window. the chimera ants are introduced as an entirely different species that start started warring with everyone else. because killua and gon weren’t really the main center and it didn’t affect them, while i was fascinated, i was thinking more along the lines of ‘man, when am I gonna get back to the main four’? and in doing so i kinda didn’t really get what was going on with the ants. it didn’t mean anything to me, since I hadn’t seen or read anything about kite because I was only going off the  what gon said about kite. i had no real reason to be attached to him and whlie i was hurting for gon that his friend’s going to die, i didn’t really have that context of a real friendship between kite and gon. it just kinda felt like gon cared about kite less for kite himself, and more for the representation of his father that he could cling to until he met up with ging.

so, going into the chimera ant arc, even knowing what was going to happen, i still hadn’t been taking things seriously, i still didn’t really think that things were going to get as bad as everyone was saying it was. 

but then. it was just as bad and heartwrenching as everyone said it was and i was surprised. even knowing that what was going to happen happen, i couldn’t even watch to the point where he met up with pitou, because i didn’t want to see gon break down like that and every episode that gon wasn’t facing her, i could only think that things were going to get even fucking worse. 

honestly, it was cowardly, but i dipped out before I even got to the ‘since it doesn’t matter to you’ part with gon and killua. I didn’t even get that far, because i knew it was going to happen and they were both going to break. i didn’t want to see that and so I thought to myself.

‘hey, i should watch the 1999 version of hunter x hunter’

after all, from all teh goofy things i’d seen from the dubbed and subbed things that I saw in posts, gifs, or videos, it was probably tamer than the 2011 version because the 19999 version didn’t even go past greed island. i thought i was in the clear, I thought that this was going to be a fun little trip through hunter x hunter, and since it didn’t get to the chimera ant arc, i wouldn’t even have to deal with gon and killua breaking. i was very, very, wrong.

the very first episode things change. gon and mito don’t have a perfect relationship, things aren’t always happy and she lies to him, only for a stranger looking for gon’s dad told him that his dad was alive. right there, at the start, i should’ve realized that this wasn’t going to be all fun and rainbows. gon almost dies, just in the very opening of the show and I was just taking it for good ole’ shounen shenanigans. y’know really stuff like child goes on an adventure story. i already knew that to be true from what i watched in the 2011 version, but this in this version, gon isn’t becoming a hunter just to be a hunter? if that makes sense? in the 2011 ver. i felt like he was doing it to follow in the footsteps of his father. that being a hunter wasn’t as important as him getting to meet his dad.

in the 1999 ver. this isn’t so. gon becomes a hunter because he wants to see what was so great about being a hunter that he’d leave him behind. mind you, I think mito tells gon while he’s asleep that she had to fight custody for him, but i can’t remember if he was faking sleep and heard it, or if he really was asleep that time, so ngl, can’t quite recall if he knows that fact or not, but as i’m going further along with this ver.i feel like he doesn’t know that, as he doesn’t say or talk about it, which gets frustrating, because he doesn’t have the narrator directly telling the watcher what’s going on in his head, so you take things are face value in 2011 (esp. since i was going into it with no context or any other knowledge of the series) but in the 1999 version, gon is staying a lot. though not it words.

the show’s pretty clear about that as well, that how he does things, acts, and says, are all things that tell you what’s going on, rather than the narrator saying it.

and it was the very second episode that i started to understand what that person said about things being ‘dark’. a man straight up almost kidnaps gon on the street, and had leorio not been there, he would’ve been sold away most likely, as he brings out a knife and runs off before anyone else can see who it was that they were talking about. that’s when i realized, ‘oh shit, this is actually fucking dark. gon almost got kidnapped’. he follows leorio around so you know that for the most part he’s going to be safe, as leorio isn’t just going to let someone snatch him off the street, and kurapika kinda watching to the side, trying to figure out whether or not to be involved with the two of them, but gravitates to gon very quickly, and becomes a parental figure. which, wasn’t really established for me in the 2011 ver. and that’s probably because the 1999 ver. was already out, so it was being adapted for longevity that the 1999 version didn’t have to worry about as much, as it already had a set start, and the small ‘fillers’ peppered in there really lets you get to know the characters in those small moments. 

but before i got to the rest of this, because this is about gon, who i now am trying to pay better attention to, as he kinda just...misses things that would easily get him hurt or killed and rather than the 2011 version, i’m consistently, worried that i’m going to look away while i’m writing or drawing and I’m going to miss something very crucial. and i did, up until i got almost past the entire half of one episode because i was half watching it, half drawing and shit, so i didn’t have my full attention on it. the reason that i stopped to make that statement clear is because a lot of peolpe on tumblr are really weird and for some reason like hisoka. 

i know that it probably feels like a curveball to be talking about this, but it needs to be said since after getting to the part that gon is telling kurapika what happened in the forest phase, I needed to make this point. 

i’ve seen a lot of people on here that really like and in some cases lust over and talk about positively. if you are one of these people, no offense, but stop reading this post. i know it’s harsh but like, if you’ve seen the 1999 ver. and you KNOW what hisoka did to gon and you’re thinking that he’s dick material or something or you like him because of his character, please stop reading this. please. 

watching hunter x hunter, its well known that hisoka is a fucking pedo clown, there are memes and jokes and hee hee this isn’t a big deal! oh it’s just hisoka! the friendly pedo clown! on this site and I fucking hate it, it pisses me off so much. because people know about this, and still make a fuck ton of thirst posts on meta about him, or fucking stan this bastard. like, if you like hisoka like that, please don’t read the rest of my post.

now that that’s out of the way, i’m going to say it plainly, as i fucking just realized it in the middle of episode 2fucking6 and i was intensely horrified to the point that I had to stop watching for a few hours as it really sunk in what happened in that part of the hunter exam.

gon is r*ped by hisoka. i didn’t really realize it up until i looked up and saw gon vomiting in the tree after eating leaves that i saw something was wrong. i thought that hisoka had just given him the badges and left, as that’s what he did in the 2011 ver. but then gon was just crying. like i thought it was because he’d been hit in the face so hard when hisoka punched him that he was recovering from a sore jaw and face, and also not being able to move very well would leave anyone crying, yeah? i didn’t want to think anything bad happened, because gon is my favorite character, and i didn’t want to watch the show when i thought that gon and killua were going to get hurt, so of course i wanted to gloss over that and just get back to the story. but the story didn’t move. 

gon dragged himself to a tree was looking in really rough shape. i didn’t get it, and i didn’t want to get it, because i saw that gon had managed to turn onto his stomach and clawed his way through the ground using his hands and face to pull himself up. i went back and rewatched, the scene, because i was like ‘wait, how did he get on his stomach? he hit the ground on his back.’

so i went back and i was right, yeah, he could move his arms to a certain degree and that’s how he was moving, but then if he could move his arms, why not his legs? i was even going to dismiss that wrinkle in what i thought was going on, until hisoka’s face keep popping up, the punch, flying backwards, and hisoka licking the blood. it was shown multiple times and gon was despairing. like. i couldn’t ignore it anymore, like that really happened and i thought i was just being too sensitive, looking into things that weren’t there, right up  until gon meets up with leorio and kurapica and nearly gets himself killed at every opportunity. 

and i literally had to stop as i was watching gon tell kuripica what happened, because his face was covered for the majority of the time that he was talking, kurapica’s arm blocks his face, and you just see tears on gon’s hands as he says, ‘i couldn’t even do anything! all i could do was just stand there!’

the reason i was so adamant aobut those people into hisoka or illumi on this post is because their fave fucking r*ped gon and it just gets glossed over. like. it’s nothing, and no one ever talks about it and i’m fucking what the fuck? what the fuck???? gon can’t even like say it properly, but kurapica gets it and he just sticks close to gon. i’m really hoping that there’s something in this ver. that gon gets revenge, or hisoka gets humiliated because that fucking scene vivadly reminded me of revolutionary girl utena, and there was just a giant fucking rock in my throat just seeing this fucking episode and then going down into the comments where i see people talking about how cool and awesome hisoka was. we all watched the same episode, saw gon go through hell, and people were criticizing gon for feeling hopeless and desperate and praising hisoka. 

that’s what pisses me off the most about this. i know that this site and others alll seem to just brush this off for the people the like or idolize, but it’s fucking disgusting. seeing the horror that gon went through only for people to praise and lust his fucking R*PIST is pissing me off! 

so y’know what? i’m just gonna say it. with things lilke this in media, where very intense and triggering things are happening to people but because of who they are, they get away with it, or give them a free pass. what happened to gon was fucking horrifying and i honestly have a problem. because how many times have we heard of this situation happening? 

someone famous does something horrible to another person. the victim is criticized and the piece of shit that did it gets praise and their actions ignored. i’m sorry, but seeing this shit literally play out in real time in front of me is atrocious and i think that we honestly need to have a discussion about how people seem to want to be ‘unproblematic’ or ‘just like them’ and how it has a very real affect on how people perceive acts and things that let them ignore it 

i don’t know the point of this post, because when i started i was mostly in shock about what i just understood and that understanding came with the intense anger that while this is something that isn’t real, the same shit plays out because of people willing to ignore atrocious behavior and actions just because you  ‘like them’

When he starts looking he doesn’t think it will take long but you actually did a good job at disappearing and he’s slowing getting more frustrated

He’ll try less but he’ll never stop looking for you so make sure to always cover your tracks well

Chrollos not that worried, he starts tracking you right away and because of that he probably gets close a few times which slowly starts to piss him off

When he can no longer find anything about you he involves shalnark to help and when he can’t find anything he’s having a whole troupe meeting about it

He’s never gonna fully stop looking and he’s never gonna get over the loss of you, he might try and replace you but it isn’t help so he’ll kill the innocent person in your place

Illumi is gonna go bat shit crazy when he finds out you escaped, the whole house is gonna know the whole town below his house is gonna feel his bloodlust
