Universe was too big for me to hold (Agatha x F!Reader)
Tumblr media
The silence of the night was suddenly broken when a cry of pain ran through the entire place. Maybe it was a good thing that Westview was abandoned because if anyone had gone to find out what was going on, they would have been met with a not-so-pretty scene. Not that she cared, of course.
Agatha continued throwing all the objects that crossed her path, not caring about their value or provenance, and not even finding any comfort in seeing them smash against the wall, but it was okay, she wasn't doing it for comfort, she just needed to get out a deep pain and the rage that gnawed at her soul.
She had failed.
She had failed so pathetically, so miserably, that just remembering it filled her with an intense, ancient rage that burned inside her as if fire, not blood, ran through her veins. Cursed the hour she had felt the power of chaos magic, cursed the moment she had tempted the scarlet witch, and cursed the second you had appeared out of nowhere.
You shouldn't have been there. You shouldn't have gone looking for her, she wasn't even sure you should have noticed her to begin with. She had always known that she was doomed to a life of solitude, to a life sentence of bitterness and hate. Love had not been created for her, because everything she touched got corrupted.
She had made peace with that years ago, she had resigned herself to the fact that her road was hers alone, without friendly stops or extra passengers. But then…then she met you, and you changed her entire life, turned her reality upside down, and broke every single one of her beliefs. You showed her that there was more than one way, and you planted in her the small hope that, perhaps, love could be named after her.
After living for more than three hundred years, there were many things that her mind had forgotten over time, things that had once been important to her but were now nothing more than a blur in her memory. But even if she lived a million more years, she could never forget the day you had entered her life, so pure and innocent, full of life and ready to love the creature that everyone feared, the being in which she had converted.
Agatha was no fool, she knew that her name had quickly become taboo after what she had done with her mother's coven, and it was not common for the few witches who recognized her to run away from her or try to kill her, the looks of ice, fear or hate were not foreign to her.
But you hadn't had any of that when you looked at her. In your eyes, there was nothing but almost childlike fascination, tenderness, emotion, and admiration, and your kind smile told her of a tentative promise, an illusion that was just beginning to take shape in the veil of time, and she couldn't help but feel drawn to your velvet arms.
Of course, she wasn't going to say that everything had been wonderful and smooth because she was Agatha Harkness and trouble was always around the corner, and on more than one occasion she was sure you would leave her, but you always had surprised her with your loyalty and infinite love towards her and you proved to her that no matter what you had to face for her, you would do it without a second thought.
Agatha found that complete surrender intriguing and inspiring, so she swore to you, to herself, and to the entire world that she would never give you less than the same devotion you had for her. And she had been able to do it for almost two hundred years. Then Wanda happened.
The brunette was not going to run away from her own fault, she knew that it was all because of her, that her mistakes had accumulated a huge debt that you had ended up paying. At some point in her history, she had believed her own legend, she had believed that she really was the most powerful magical being in the world and that she could challenge the universe itself.
Her ambition had been enormous, and eating the world didn't seem like enough for her, so she'd gone after this magic, this bloody red magic, as intoxicating and tempting in the imagination as it was dangerous in essence. She believed Wanda to be a clumsy, pathetic girl with no skills, a puppet that would be easy to manipulate at her whim, she believed that she had the perfect victim, and she entered the spider's web without suspecting it.
She was wrong. She miscalculated and messed with the one witch no one should ever piss off. Wanda had awesome power, greater than any magic the brunette had ever known, but she was unstable, too broken by a cruel life that wouldn't stop beating her down. The redhead was fighting the demons she had created herself, and Agatha had entered the game just as the bomb was about to go off. And she got burned.
Once upon a time, she had sworn to protect you from everything, she had sworn to fight the universe itself if necessary, but she had not been able to even win against a witch who did not know her own power, she had bitten off more than she could chew and the universe laughed at her.
She could never forget the day she met you, but that moment was now fighting in her mind against the horrible vision of seeing you appear in front of her, absorbing Wanda's final attack. Your laughter would be confused with the memory of your cries of pain and she would never be able to think of you again, without her chest aching. Because you were dead.
Your lifeless body had fallen in front of her, your lifeless eyes pierced her soul, your expression of pain would remain frozen in time, and your stopped heart turned off hers too. She didn't even feel when Wanda absorbed her magic, she could only see you, dead, gone.
She was alone now, condemned to wander a ghost town, without magic, without life, without love. Only with a broken heart and a debt with the stars.

A virgin’s pray (Agatha x Fem!Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next
__________________
“I am sure there are a lot of virgins who would love to marry you, Miss Wren” you said and gave the woman in front of you a fake smile.
You didn’t listen to her answer as you took the small rock in her hand and closed the door behind you, pinching the bridge of your nose. When will they learn?! You already rejected this woman three times and she wasn’t even one of the worst people who wanted to court you.
“I’m going to need a bigger chest” you rolled your eyes as you threw the stone into your heart’s chest.
You loved living in the coven and the path you chose, but sometimes, you wished it could be an easier one. It’s not that virgins were treated like garbage or like an object or something like that, that was human’s gross nature. In witchcraft, virgins were the most precious thing they could find.
They were the most valuable wives any warlock or witch could ask for, because virgins had the power of innocence and it meant that their blood and souls were powerful and clean of all terrenal bounds.
So, to have a virgin offer you her "gift" meant the purification of your magic and life.
Something that most magic users seeked for. You see, maybe some dreaming soul could imagine that being able to use magic was something amazing, incredible, useful and totally the very best. And it was...most of the time. But there was always a price in magic.
And it was that, the more you used magic, the more it became contaminated. It seems simple, but that was only the first of the problems. Because you needed to use it in order to gain control of it, which meant that, inevitably, magic will always end contaminated with terrenal bounds, which also meant that it became weaker with time.
It was something that most warlocks and witches feared. And that was what made virgins so special, because by receiving this gift, they were allowed to unleash the magic at its purest but with all the control they already learned.
It sounds wonderful, right?
Well, not for you. For you, it was a pain in your ass.
As a virgin by choice, you had to deal with witches and some warlocks trying to court you, wanting you for the power you held. Yeah, maybe your magic was technically weaker than theirs, but yours couldn’t be contaminated. It was a choice that everyone in a coven made when they turned 18. You could choose the power of witches or the purity of virgins. And when the time came for you, some years ago, you chose the second one.
At first, it seemed like the best decision ever! Yes, it was hard to give up a part of your power, but it was worth it in your opinion. You had freedom, you didn’t need to train as much as witches and it meant that you had the right to reject anyone who tried to marry you.
Against what the world might think, consensual marriage was an important thing for every coven, because if a virgin was forced into marriage and she didn't want to give her gift to her spouse, then they’d be cursed and their magic would be corrupted beyond all help. Useless, uncontrollable, dangerous. No warlock or witch would want to take the risk.
That's why most of them would spend a lot of time courting you and the other virgins.
Which led to many, many people to your door.
You couldn’t really blame them, it was totally your fault. You would never take marriage lightly, especially not after seeing how your father treated your mother, or the way your sister, another virgin, had been burned at the stake because of her wife. You had tried to help her, but there was little you could do, and from that moment on, you swore that you would not marry the first one who asked you, like she did, you’d rather wait for someone truly worthy.
Your mother had made fun of that, a few days before she ended up in the hands of mortals. She had told you that true love was just a fairy tale and that you should be realistic. It wasn't that you were a hopeless romantic, you just knew a different kind of magic that she didn't. And you trusted that at some point, your soul would choose someone worthy. You just had to wait.
Too bad the magical beings were so impatient. Especially when it came to power.
Every time a virgin rejected someone, that person had to give her a rock that contained a piece of their magic. It was a kind of trophy for the virgin. You called them "hearts" simply because it was fun to see their expressions when you’d tell them that you would add theirs to your chest of hearts.
Maybe it had been a bad idea, looking at it objectively, since that little joke of yours had helped your reputation grow and your name was known not only in your coven, but in other close ones as well.
You had rejected many, many people, so you still had the gift of purity, which could only be given once, and your collection of "hearts" was getting bigger and bigger. You knew that, although for you they were mere ornaments because your magic could not grow any more, for anyone else they would be a strong temptation, because by marrying you, they could access them.
"At this rate, whoever I choose is waiting for a great buffet of magic" you joked to yourself.
You cursed internally when you noticed the sun beginning to set. Hell, that woman was seriously wasting your time! You were supposed to be ready for the ceremony in less than an hour!
That was another thing you hated, the fact that when a virgin married, the entire coven had to go. As long as the bride was not you, why would you care if someone married or not? But rules were rules, you guessed.
You prepared the water for a quick bath and took the first dress you found. You had no intention of dressing up more than you should just because it was a wedding. You just prayed it would end quickly.
_____________________
Agatha sighed as her mother yelled at her to hurry up. She didn't even want to go to a stupid wedding! But it wasn't about what she wanted, it never was. It was about absurd and ridiculous traditions.
But she knew better than to anger her mother when it came to ceremonies. It seemed that they were the only occasions in which she remembered that she had a daughter, that she was the heir to the position of matriarch and she demanded that the brunette behave as such.
Honestly, the whole virgin thing and stuff seemed absurd to her. Why would anyone want to give up some of their magic just to help others have more power? It was useless, degrading, and foolish.
"Agatha, for the last time-"
"I heard you" she interrupted the older witch and took her cloak
"You will not go dressed like that" Evanora crossed her arms
"why not?" Agatha asked "I'm not the bride" she smiled and walked out the door, ignoring her mother's sigh.
It was better for the universe that this ended soon and she could go back to her books.
______________________________
You rolled your eyes when Evanora finished giving her speech about power and trust and bonding and whatever other shit she said. Honestly, you had stopped paying attention in the middle of the speech.
All weddings in the coven were always the same. Evanora would give her approval after hearing false oaths from the couple, where they lied when saying that they loved each other and that they would always be faithful to each other. You well knew that your mother and sister had endured various infidelities.
There was no one who had a bond as strong as the one everyone swore.
"Ten crystals that he promises to treat her like a queen" someone said behind you.
You jumped a bit and turned to find an incredibly blue pair of eyes staring straight at you, and a mischievous smile that was just too contagious. You knew this woman. She was Evanora's daughter, Agatha.
It was a surprise to see her here. You were sure that the brunette would have no problem sneaking out of the ceremony, after all, she was well known throughout the coven for being irreverent, rebellious and a free spirit.
"Ten more than she blushes and giggles" you said with a smile.
The brunette smiled back at you and you both turned when the groom started with the list of promises that he would surely break in a year. As Agatha said, he swore to his bride to treat her like a queen and she blushed, looked down and laughed with what she surely thought was a cute laugh, but that to your ears it seemed the most false they have ever listened.
You looked at the woman next to you and you both shared knowing smiles. It was strange being so close to her, because you had never been someone who easily joked around with strangers, but Agatha had something about her, something that made you want to get closer.
The brunette couldn't take her eyes off you. She knew perfectly well who you were, as did everyone here. Your physical beauty had drawn her gaze from the moment she and her mother had arrived at the ceremony and after watching you roll your eyes at her mother's practiced speech, she decided that she had to get closer to you.
She had been sure that you would either ignore her or politely apologize and then walk away from her, but you seemed to enjoy her sarcastic comments and before she knew it, the two of you were exchanging comments and teasing about the entire wedding. Agatha had never met someone like you.
_________________________
Evanora glanced at you as the couple in front of her completed the ritual that would unite them in magic and soul. She had noticed the moment when Agatha had disappeared, of course she did, but she had assumed that her daughter had escaped to the lake, perhaps to loot the kitchen while everyone was busy, anywhere far from here.
That was why it had taken her by surprise when she reappeared at your side. And her stomach churned when she noticed the ease with which the brunette struck up a seemingly friendly conversation with you.
As the matriarch of the coven, Evanora had an obligation to know each and every person in her charge. And she knew perfectly well the power you had and how dangerous it could be in the wrong hands.
More specifically, in the hands of Agatha.
Her daughter and her hunger for power were a burden enough, she didn't need her to gain more power than she could control. She trusted you to have good judgment and to walk away from her, but the more she saw you tease and get closer to each other, the more nervous she grew.
She knew you had just met, and she begged all powers that this was just a one time thing. That you were just being nice and that's it. But she wasn't stupid either, and she knew there was a magic beyond her control, one that acted on its own whim and that nothing could be done when it trapped two souls.
_______________________
You laughed at Agatha's last comment as you watched the newly married couple disappear, probably to end their "duty" at home.
"That was shorter than I expected" you said
"Do you think they lacked lies to tell?" the brunette smiled at you
You laughed easily and playfully punched her on the arm. In the last hour, she had proven to be better company than expected and you would be lying if you said you didn't find her beautiful. But there was something that terrified you.
You could feel a part of you calling out to her.
Agatha was about to say something else, when she felt her mother's eyes on her back. She didn't even need to turn to know that she was viewing her with disapproval and fury. Nothing new. But for some reason, the idea that her mother might do something in front of you, embarrassed her.
The brunette had never cared what people said about her, but for some reason, she respected you enough.
"I think you'd better go home" she told you "so much love and lies must be tiring"
You laughed and blushed slightly "And I'm sure you miss your books" you said "Well it was an honor to meet you, Miss Harkness"
"The pleasure was mine"
"Have a good night"
You both smiled one last time before bowing respectfully to the other and going separate ways, but with a feeling of closeness.
Evanora sighed in relief when she saw you walk away from her daughter at last. You were a good girl and she would hate for Agatha to corrupt you. Or so she told herself, but deep down, she knew it was fear that she was feeling. Fear that her daughter would find an enormous source of power, one that she definitely didn’t deserve.
____________________________
When you went to sleep later that night, there was a voice in your chest, a tender one that invited you to follow her. It scared you, and you told yourself it was your imagination, because you didn't want to accept that maybe, just maybe...
Your soul was choosing.

A virgin’s pray (Agatha x Fem!Reader) part 3
Tumblr media
You rolled your eyes as you noticed someone approaching your house. Too bad you were on your way out and had no intention to be polite with them. You had a place to go and a witch to meet.
You blushed a little at the thought of Agatha. Since that day in the forest (that left you with a basket full of little yellow flowers) you and the brunette had been “casually finding” each other in the same spot. It was something none of you talked about, but you both had noticed that whenever the other was using magic, the other felt theirs trying to join the practice.
So, you did what felt natural and offered to help her. She laughed at first, saying that she didn’t need help, she was already one of the most powerful witches of the coven. You just rolled your eyes but after a few more times of “accidentally” interrupting her practice, she admitted that her magic felt stronger when you were around.
Again, none of you wanted to think about it too much. You knew the stories, you knew what it was implying, that your presence made her magic stronger couldn’t be a good sign. And yet, none of you was willing to stop seeing the other, so you decided to practice in the forest, where you knew nobody would interrupt you. It didn’t take you a lot of time to become good friends.
“Miss Y/L/N!” You sighed as the person approached you
“Yes, Mr. Rowan?” you faked a smiled
“Wonderful day, isn’t it?” he said
You raised an eyebrow and looked at the grey clouds above your heads.
“Yeah, it sure is” you said “now, if you excuse me”
“Of course, the weather isn’t important right now” he said, standing right in front of you so you wouldn’t leave “I was wondering if you-”
“I know what you were wondering, Mr. Rowan” you interrupted him “and we both know the answer”
The man blinked, surprised by your attitude. Usually, you would indulge your suitors with a couple of smiles and a little more conversation before gently turning them down. But this time you were in a hurry, you needed to reach that pair of blue eyes that were increasingly etched in your mind, and you didn't feel like putting up with a clown like him at that moment.
"Miss Y/L/N" he said with a forced smile "I know you have your reservations about marriage, but I promise you that by my side you will have everything you want, I will even give you the moon if you ask me"
"With all due respect, Mr. Rowan, I can get the moon by myself" you rolled your eyes "let's not make this any longer. I really have things to do, so" you said, holding out your hand to him.
The man scowled furiously, but he reluctantly placed a small rock in your palm anyway. It was definitely not what he had expected, believing himself capable of conquering you with the typical lies everyone told. He seemed to forget that he was talking to the most powerful virgin in the coven.
"Have a nice day" you said, stuffing his heart into your pocket and running away before he could say anything else.
______________________________
"You should have made him promise the sun"
Agatha laughed heartily as you crossed your arms and stuck your tongue out at her. Of course she would know, she always seemed to know absolutely everything that was going on with you (another sign you were deliberately ignoring) and she was having a blast at your expense.
"stop laughing" you hit her shoulder "he probably would have cast a spell on me if it wasn't a sin to hurt a virgin"
"Yeah well, I wish he would have tried" she said "a criminal punishment is what he deserves"
"Why?" you raised an eyebrow "just for trying to woo me?"
"I think you've already made it clear that you're not interested in those things" she said, trying to sound nonchalant "they should leave you alone until you find your bond yourself"
You looked at her curiously, not missing the slight blush on her cheeks. You felt your magic again calling to hers and you couldn't help but smile. You knew you were already entering dangerous territory, but no one said magic was safe.
"So" you said, changing the subject "what are we learning today?"
"I thought some mind protection would be interesting" she said, grateful that you didn't push
"Oh, I know that one!" you said excitedly "ut sit mens mea et anima una, ut non pluat rubens madefacit animam meam, et magic oriatur de cineribus"
Agatha looked at you in surprise and rummaged through her book until she found the correct page, finding the exact words you had said. You smirked at her and she rolled her eyes fondly, ignoring the pang of emotion in her stomach.
"Sometimes you scare me" she told you "you sound like an encyclopedia of magic"
"Well, it's a virgin's job to help her witch when she doesn't remember her spells" you said.
The brunette muttered and turned to find a more open space where you could sit down and start practicing. She didn't say anything, but the only thing in her mind was that you had said "witch", leaving out wizards altogether.
________________________
"This is serious Evanora"
The matriarch said nothing, but she clenched her fists tightly as she looked through the trees, to where you and her daughter were laughing together. The older witch felt a pang of fear when you kissed Agatha's cheek and the grass around you turned to snow as a result.
She didn't want to believe it, she couldn't allow it. When Wren and Rowan had come to her to complain about your rejection, she had taken it as a mere tantrum on their part. Of course, you had every right to reject as many as you wanted, or on the contrary, choose who you wanted. But not her. Not Agatha.
Evanora was not stupid, she knew that behind your crystal smile and your eyes full of life, there was an enormous power hidden, waiting for the moment when a worthy vessel came into your life. You were the most powerful virgin in the coven, and anyone who married you would be the greatest warlock or witch.
And that couldn't be her daughter.
Agatha was rebellious, indifferent, and too ambitious for her own good and that of others. She was a selfish, unpredictable, and uncontrollable young woman. If she ever got her hands on your stone box, if you managed to purify her magic, only the night knew what she would be capable of.
She would be unstoppable and could take anything she wanted. You were a prize that Agatha was not worthy of.
She was silently grateful that the rumors were spreading fast, that your suitors were upset that you were hardly ever home to court you anymore. Because that gave her the opportunity to make amends, it was not too late. She could save you and the entire coven from Agatha.
And so would she.

Little miracle (Agatha x Fem!Reader)
Tumblr media
"We need to talk"
Maybe it hadn't been the best choice of words, but there was nothing you could do about it now. Agatha frowned at you before letting out a laugh, trying to hide the nervousness building in her. She hated those words.
She was over 300 years old, it would be ridiculous to think that she had remained chaste and virgin for all that time, especially considering the witch's mischievous personality.
But with so many relationships, there were also breakups, and while she definitely hadn't loved any of them as much as she loved you, she had learned to hate those words.
Now, you were her soul mate. She knew it. The magic that bound her to you was stronger than any and losing you…losing you would probably kill her. But she wouldn't think about that, not when you hadn't said anything to her yet.
"So…" you took a deep breath and reached over to hold her hands "remember the time I threw up at Wanda's and you had to carry me?"
"Which of all?" she joked
"Exactly! It wasn't normal for it to happen to me so many times! So I went to the doctor and-"
"Why? You could have asked me to check you" Agatha crossed her arms
"Shhh, we both know that you get sensitive when it comes to me"
"That is not true!"
"Aha" you smiled at the slight pout she was making "anyway...I have news for you"
Agatha looked at you curiously but the weight on her chest melted away knowing you weren't planning on leaving her. At least after that, whatever you planned to say to her couldn't scare her anymore.
"I was planning on doing something cute and everything to tell you, but...fuck it, I'm too excited.”
"Honey, your smile is scaring me" she joked "Just tell me already"
"Okay...I'M PREGNANT!!"
_______________
"Agatha?"
The brunette grunted as she slowly opened her eyes. The light pierced her but she felt something soft and warm under her head. It took her a moment to realize it was you, cradling her against your chest.
"Oh good, you're not dead" you sighed in relief
"What happened?"
"You passed out" you said "And look, you know I love you, but the non-pregnant wife is supposed to take care of the pregnant one, so-"
"Then I didn't dream it," she murmured, her eyes glowing with soft purple light, "you really are...we're going to-"
"Have a baby? yep"
__________________________
Fortunately, those were the only two times your wife passed out. Although what came after that wasn't much better.
You spent days holding the older woman against you, whispering little promises in her ear, assuring her that she would be a good mother, that no matter what Evanora said all those years ago, she would be the best mother in the world and you would be there to see it.
It hurt to see the normally bold and confident witch you had fallen in love with reduced to a child carrying fears, fears that her own mother had implanted in her. And you'd be lying if you said that you weren't scared yourself, but you were sure that together you would make it work and your daughter or son would be the most loved of all children.
Now you only hoped that the day of the birth would not be like the day of the news.

Feel free to ignore this if you don't like the idea, I just have a huge soft spot for 50's Agatha/Agnes.
A 50's Agnes/Agatha x shy R where she's constantly finding excuses to brush passed R or touch R.
AKA Agatha uses her cover as Agnes as an excuse to flirt with shy reader bc she likes the nervous reaction. (Bonus points for smut)
This is short, but I hope you like it anyway.
Wicked Witches love shy kids (Agatha x reader)
Tumblr media
"I'm sorry dear" said a voice when you felt a hand on your lower back, supporting you to keep from falling.
You didn't even have to turn to find out who she was. There was only one person in the entire town who would bother to walk right behind you, even if they had a whole sidewalk to pass you.
"It's okay Agnes" you whispered and looked at the ground. Her presence made you nervous.
Okay, you were always nervous, it was your nature! But there was something about the beautiful woman that warmed your blood and made your knees weak. Maybe it was her beauty, or the fact that she seemed the only one interested in continuing to interact with you after the first meeting.
Most of the town just assumed you were strange and left you alone with your shyness. But not Agnes. She seemed like she just couldn't (or didn't want to) stay away from you for too long.
"Look at you! You look spectacular today" she told you, spinning you around.
"T-thanks" you stuttered "you look beautiful" you said without thinking.
Your cheeks heated up and your face turned red when you realized what you had said out loud. It had certainly been the most daring thing you had ever said to the brunette...not that you really spoke much, to her or to anyone.
You cursed yourself internally before apologizing and getting out of there quickly. You didn't see the look of amusement and the wicked smile of the woman as she saw you practically running down the sidewalk.
Agatha loved these accidentally provoked encounters. In her defense, the first one had been an accident, she really didn't expect you to come out of nowhere as she walked towards Wanda's house. She had to hold you by the waist to prevent both of you from falling.
She was about to dismiss the accident like it was nothing, when she had met your adorable blush. The way you seemed to not be able to look at her amused her, and the whisper you introduced yourself with reminded her of a little child about to be scolded. And well, she was an evil witch wasn't she? It was her job to corrupt helpless children.
And that was what she had been trying to do with you ever since.
The witch was not sure how long they had been in the 50's, Wanda seemed to enjoy that decade. She also didn't know when she had stopped caring at all. The only thing she seemed to care about these days was the walking ball of nerves that you were.
_____________________
"Dear!" You immediately felt an electric current going through your body when you heard Agnes's voice and her footsteps approaching. Damn that woman and the effect she had on you.
"Thanks for waiting for me" the brunette said when she caught up with you. She didn't even ask you before entwining her arm through yours and starting to walk.
"N-no problem, Agnes" you said shyly
"oh, I love your hair today!" The woman said, tucking a strand behind your ear before taking your hand again.
You swore she had lingered a second or more on your cheek.
You got carried away by the older woman for a few minutes. You really should have come home, but it was obvious that she wouldn't let you.
After a few moments, you began to recognize the houses around you. You were near Wanda's house, which meant either Agnes was taking you to try socializing with the woman (again) or she was taking you to her own house. And you didn't know which of the two options terrified you the most.
When you felt a hand on your lower back and the brunette leaned closer to you, to whisper something in your ear as she led you inside her house, you knew the answer.

In love and death (Agatha x reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You frowned when the feeling came back, like something pulling from the back of your mind. It was strange and creepy, to be honest. Although you guess you didn’t have the right to say anything about creepiness, considering the nature of your powers. Since you were a little witch, you could always talk to the death. It was strange and it made the older witches on your coven laugh at you. Nobody believed you.
And then it happened. You revived your first corpse. It was only a rabbit you found in the forest, but it made your magic change. It was no longer gold, but a mix of black and gold. It scared you, and the other witches too. The matriarch expelled you from the coven when she found out, saying it was black magic and couldn’t allow a monster like you near the rest.
You were only 13.
Being alone from such a young age was tough, but it made you stronger. You could defend yourself and stand up. Well, maybe you weren't entirely alone. The rabbit you had brought back, Lola, was still by your side. She was a good company, and the ravages of death weren't quite gone, so she was quite aggressive with anyone that got too close to you. Sometimes you suspected that she was a demon and not a rabbit.
You two would travel around the world, never staying anywhere for too long, and then...you didn’t remember much. Just that your life was a hurricane, everything seemed to happen so fast and you didn’t really have time to bond with anyone. That’s why it was so strange to be living on Westview, with so many people around you, acting strange but friendly.
You could see the pain in their eyes, but they were smiling? And then you’d feel that sensation as if someone was trying to get into your mind. Or you would get suddenly sad and desperate whenever you walked by the Vision house. It was all so confusing.
“Y/N!”
You jumped a little and turned to see Wanda walking up to you. You smiled but couldn’t help but feel a little intimidated. There was something about her.
“Hi, Mrs. Maximoff” you forced a smile as the redhead walked up to you “What can I do for you?”
You frowned when you said that. It wasn’t your intention. Something just pulled the words out of your mouth, as if you were supposed to say them, like a script. You got suspicious when you noticed the smile on Wanda’s lips. She had wanted you to ask that.
“Oh well, you see” she started “It seems like I’m having trouble with Vision”
“Trouble?”
“Yes, yes, he seems to be a little...off, distant if you will. It’s like my relationship with him is starting to die”
You didn’t like the way she said that.
“Well, I’m really sorry for it” you said “have you tried talking to him about how you feel? Maybe that will help” you forced another smile
“Oh I did” she said “But I’m afraid it didn’t work. You see,  it’s hard to make someone listen to you when they have dead ears” she joked
You laughed because you had the feeling this wasn’t a woman you would like to piss off, but you were getting scared of her. Really scared.
Lola must have sensed your fear because she suddenly appeared next to the woman and made a noise that made her jump a little. You took the opportunity your bunny gave you.
“Oh dear, I am so sorry” you lied “I don’t know how she keeps escaping. I’ll take her home before she causes any trouble”.
You took Lola in your arms and gave her one last fake smile before walking, almost running if you were honest, away from there. You didn’t even need to turn around to know the redhead was frowning at you, and you could feel the same thing trying to pull your mind. It only made you walk faster.
_______________________
You were scared of Wanda, that was no secret. You tried to avoid her as much as you could, turning around and walking away whenever you saw her. But that didn’t mean you hated her sons or wished bad things for her family. You liked kids and being left alone since you were 13 made you a little protective of them. You didn’t like to hear kids cry.
That’s why you didn’t think much about it when you brought Sparky back.
You were just passing by when you saw the Vision family and before you could turn around, you heard Tommy and Billy crying. You still feared their mother, but you couldn’t just leave them like that. So you approach them a little, but not really making your presence known. You waited till Wanda and Vision took the kids home before you walked up to Agnes.
It was strange, you could swear you had never talked to her before, but you still know who she was? And how she seemed to be so close to Wanda, being the only one not afraid of the redhead. Must be nice to have a friend like her.
The brunette looked at you and you could see her face changing from smirking, to surprise to sadness. Such a variety of moods in the 2 seconds it took you to be by her side. Odd.
“Hi” you shyly waved
“Oh, Y/N, hi dear” she said
You frowned a little. She knew your name? Small town, you guessed. But then again, you knew Agnes had the reputation of being the nosy neighbor, knowing everything about anyone.
“Such a tragedy, isn’t it?” she said, referring to the dog in her arms. You guessed Vision would come back for it after calming the twins.
“What happened?” you asked
“I found him on my azaleas” she simply said “I couldn’t do anything for him. It was too late”
For some reason, that story sounded fake to you, as if she had been practicing it for a while. It made you suspicious of the real reason behind Sparky’s death, and still you weren’t afraid of this woman like you were of Wanda.
You took a step closer and awkwardly raised your arms to her and the dog in her arms.
“Can I?” you asked.
The brunette frowned and seemed unwilling to give you the corpse, but she must have decided you couldn’t mean any harm because she shrugged and handed you the small dog. You smiled and unwrapped him, already trying to feel the last straw of life in him. a cold shiver run through your spine when you felt the traces of murder in him, and you had a pretty good idea of who must have done it. But Agnes seemed so nice and it was hard to picture her killing the small creature!
“Always be suspicious of someone who smiles 24/7” you thought.
The brunette just raised an eyebrow as you crunched down and put the dog on the floor. She didn’t know what you were doing but hey, whatever was the game you were playing, at least you were cute.
She had been watching you from afar, always being too busy with Wanda to actually approach you, but she had heard the rumors and gossip and she couldn’t agree more when they said you were an absolute beauty. And powerful too, if the aura she could sense from you was any hint.
That made her more intrigued as she watched you closing your eyes and placing your hands on the corpse. Whatever you planned to do, you surely wouldn’t do it infront of her, right? It would be stupid and risky and- oh ok. You were doing it. She silently gasped when the magic floated from your hands.
“Two colors? Interesting” she thought
Honestly, you were so used to this, to play with the line between death and life, that it just felt natural to you. You didn’t even think about how this might look to someone else. The brunette was frozen in her place as she watched your black magic wrapping the dog and slowly being replaced by the gold one. When it was only gold with no trace of black, Sparky started breathing again. You giggled as the dog started licking your hand, totally oblivious to the startled woman in front of you.
“How did you-” she started
“Sparky?”
You froze when you heard Vision’s voice behind you. The blonde man seemed confused, which was normal, his dog, which was dead a few moments ago, was now running around him. And yet, he didn’t seem scared, only confused.
“I-...the azaleas only made him sleep, but he’s fine now” you lied.
You could tell that both Vision and Agnes knew you were lying, but none of them dared to say it. Vision was just confused but grateful because the kids would be happy, and Agatha was rather curious about all of this.
You watched the man taking the dog and walking home after thanking you, before you did the same, giving Agnes a quick excuse before running away from there, feeling like you made a big mistake.
You didn’t notice the way the brunette’s eyes turned purple.
____________________
And a mistake it was! If Wanda scared you before, it was worse after bringing Sparky back. She seemed determined to follow you around, talking about her husband and even going as far as to try to send you on a date with Pietro (it was really awkward to explain that you didn’t like men at all). It seemed like she wanted you in her family at any cost.
And you wanted to avoid it at any cost.
But Wanda’s were not the only eyes you could feel on your back as you walked through the town. Agnes seemed to be as fascinated by you as you were by her. You guessed it was because of what she witnessed, but still, she didn’t seem scared, only curious, which was a blessing to you. You had enough of being feared and being scared. It was nice to have someone who looked at you as if you were something worthy of admiration.
It made you feel special.
And you would be lying if you said you weren’t attracted to her. She was beautiful, ok? And she was bold and brave and funny and simply wonderful. The only thing strange about her was that you seemed to be the only one having a crush on her. It was unbelievable to you, that everyone thought was BY FAR, the most beautiful woman in town.
Sure, she was beautiful, but the way they said it was as if no one else was allowed to be beautiful, as if she was the only one. As if she was the main character of some kind of show and therefore, the attention must be on her at all times. You even got the feeling that YOU weren’t allowed to admire Agnes the way you did.
_______________
Wanda frowned when she noticed the way you and Agnes kept looking at each other. It was the same way Vision and her used to look at each other before Than-...before that happened. It was love, she knew.
But she couldn’t allow it. Not when she hadn’t been able to make you understand, to make you see that she knew about your powers. She tried to control you, but your mind was strong, so the only option she had was to convince you to bring back Viz without actually telling you what was happening in Westview.
You could get scared and try to escape, and then, she would have lost the only chance to have Vision and Pietro back. The real ones. Besides, Agnes’ affection was probably an effect of the dome anyway, Agnes wasn’t allowed to think on her own, like the rest of Westview.
So, as much as she liked the brunette and thought of her as a friend, she couldn’t allow her to have your attention. Not yet.

Creatures of the night (Agatha x Vampire!Reader)
a/n: for anon. Hope you like it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
You watched as the fire consumed the remains of what was once a small village. You didn’t like to see the result of your anger, or hear the desperate cries of people, but it was your nature, and as much as you hated it, you couldn’t do anything about it.
At least this time you managed to hold back until the families with young children had escaped.
"They are not to blame for being born near the beast" you thought sadly.
But you were done. After hundreds of years you had finally avenged the last member of your family, no more hunting or killing other than food. Although, maybe it was already a little late. Your name was already whispered in fear.
You took one last look at the mess, feeling as devastated as the village itself, before it disappeared into the night. A sinister shadow that would remain in the hearts of the survivors, as feared as the dark castle in which you lived.
___________________
Agatha gasped, trying to avoid the low branches of the trees. It would be easier if she could fly, but it was too risky. She internally cursed herself for not acting faster. She shouldn't have come back for her mother's books.
She must have known that Evanora had one last trick up her sleeve and that she with her last strength would alert the nearby covens. Now, the brunette was being hunted by the same breed as her.
"I need to rest" she thought.
She could feel their steps on her heels. It wouldn't be long before they were upon her and she knew that the fate that awaited her would be far worse than death. Even with all her failings as a mother, Evanora was appreciated in various covens, she being friends with other leaders, who now wanted Agatha to pay for murdering her. That and there was still the whole black magic thing.
"If only they tried to understand" she sighed.
She needed shelter and soon. And as if fate took pity on her for once in her life, the witch could glimpse a huge castle in the distance. She could fly there. It looked old and creepy, probably abandoned. It was worth the risk.
When she heard footsteps behind her, she knew she had to make a decision right now. With the last vestiges of power she had left, she propelled herself forward. Whatever she might find in the castle, it would have to be better than being hunted by other witches and warlocks...right?
__________________
You frowned when you felt a strange magic in your domain. You hated your immortal status, if only because it terrified you perhaps more than humans, but you had to admit that it had its advantages, such as amplified senses.
A woman. You could smell the blood running through her veins, and magic too. A witch? Possibly. But there was something else there. Something besides the obvious tiredness and exhaustion. You could smell the fear. She was scared, but...not of you?
At least not yet.
____________________
Agatha tried to catch her breath as she walked with one hand pressed against the cold stone. She had managed to get there, but now she couldn't find a way to get inside. As if the entire building was sealed.
She really didn't want to think about the fact that no one had followed her. It was almost as if they knew that whatever was here, it would be worse than any punishment they could give her. Had she made a mistake?
When she sensed a presence in the shadows behind her, she wondered if, perhaps, the castle was sealed not so that no one could enter, but so that someone or something didn’t come out.
"You're imagining things" she told herself "It's the exhaustion. You just have to find a corner protected from the rain and the wind to get some sleep and tomorrow you'll think clearly."
"Why settle for a corner, my lady?" suddenly said a voice behind her.
The witch turned around, trying to conjure a ball of energy to defend herself, but she couldn't. Shit. It seemed like she had underestimated her tiredness. But she wasn't going to show weakness.
"Show yourself" she ordered.
You slowly stepped out of the shadows, impressed by the apparent courage this woman possessed. She was very scared, you could smell it, but she was not willing to show it. Impressive.
Agatha gasped when she saw your red eyes and elongated fangs. Now she knew why they hadn't followed her. Because the beast that lived here was more dangerous than any spell they could torture her with.
"Do you like what you see, ma'am?"
"Get away from me" the witch said, taking a step back.
She let out a gasp as her heel hit a rock causing her to stumble. Everything happened too fast and before she knew what was happening, she felt your arms around her and the world seemed to move too fast. A few seconds later she lost consciousness.
_________________
You sighed in resignation as you carefully placed the woman on the bed. You should have known that she wouldn't stand the fast movement, especially not in the exhausted state she was in.
It was because of these things that you showed no mercy to anyone.
You were a monster, a vampire. You couldn't control your strength or your powers. No matter how hard you tried or how well you intended, you would always end up hurting someone.
You looked at the woman carefully. She was beautiful. And if the magic trail was any indication, she was powerful too, you had just met her at a bad time.
"Too bad" you whispered "Maybe you could have finished with me...An end to the terror of the night"
______________________
The blue-eyed woman woke up with a severe headache and a little dizzy. She didn't recognize the warm room she was in, nor the soft bed or the elegant nightgown she was wearing.
It was then that everything came back to her. The chase, the castle. You.
Of all the creatures she could have run into, it had to be a bloody vampire! A monster who wanted blood more than anything, who killed without mercy. A despicable bloodthirsty being.
"And still, you're still alive" said a treacherous voice in her head.
It was a good point. Why was she alive, in a luxurious room, in comfortable clothes, and in a warm, soft bed? Why hadn't you drunk her blood? Or, if you didn't like witch's blood, why not let her die in the cold of the night? It just didn't make sense.
She turned her head quickly when she heard the bedroom door open. You looked at her a little surprised.
"You are awake" you said softly.
Agatha didn't answer. Maybe she had spoken too soon, maybe you were coming to kill her now. However, she soon noticed the copper tray that you brought with you. Why would you bring food if you were going to kill her?
"I...I'm sorry I scared you yesterday" you said a little awkwardly "And I'm sorry I moved so fast. I should have known you would pass out from the speed...sorry"
"Are you apologizing?" she whispered, quite confused
"Well yeah. I just did, didn't I?" you raised your eyebrow "Look...I don't know what you're doing here, but I'm not going to hurt you, okay?"
“You won't? Really?" she asked sarcastically "And I suppose you expect me to believe that you are not going to drink my blood"
Her words for some reason hurt you. You were used to people being afraid of you. Even you feared yourself. But you had hoped that, being a witch who had apparently been on the run from hunters, she wouldn't have jumped to conclusions so quickly. Maybe you were hoping you could have someone for the first time in hundreds of years.
Silly of you.
"You can think what you want, my lady" you said, carefully placing the tray on the edge of the bed "The castle is yours if you wish. No one will harm you here"
With that, you gave her one last sad look and quickly left the room.
Agatha stared at the door for a few seconds before looking at the food. Had you taken the trouble to save and feed her and were you even offering her a roof? Again, maybe she had spoken too soon.
There was something in your gaze that had caught her attention. Your eyes, despite their color of blood, were not loaded with hunger or murder, but with fear, sadness and hatred. But something told her that it wasn’t hatred directed at her.
"She's afraid of herself" she whispered.
The more she thought about it, the more pity she felt for you. She knew well the feeling of being afraid of what you are, of not belonging anywhere. She knew what it was like to be rejected by people who didn't understand what you were.
"Maybe...we have more in common than I thought" she said, carefully taking the tray.
Maybe you weren't so bad after all.

a/n: I’m so sorry! I lost the ask and didn’t remember if you requested them to be already dating or not :c but I hope you still like it
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
You ran as quickly as you could. You needed to get away from the town. As far as you could! You cursed yourself for losing track of the time, you really shouldn’t have been flirting with that damned woman or let her get too close to you.
Well, in your defense, she started it!
You didn’t know why a witch would be interested in a creature like you. You weren’t human, even if you looked like one, and you knew that she knew it too. Even more, you were sure that, as a witch, she knew exactly what you were, and that only made it all stranger! Everyone knew that witches hated werewolves...in fact, everyone hated werewolves! It was a well known fact that you were the most hated and misunderstood of all mythical creatures.
And yet, she seemed so fascinated by you. Perhaps, that was what made you stay with her for a while. It was so strange that someone showed such desire to be in the company of your race.
But time flew away and before you noticed it, it was already getting dark, and you knew it was a full moon night. So you apologised and ran away as far as you could, not wanting to put anyone in danger, especially not the beautiful brunette who made you feel welcomed and made you laugh all the time you were together.
“Stupid little shit!” you thought “you should have known better than to let a cute girl distract you!”
You were too focused on running as fast as you could and trying to contain the transformation (which was already starting, if the pain on your joints was any hint)that you didn’t hear the wind following you.
________________
Agatha’s heart was racing as she followed you through the forest. She’d be lying if she said she wasn’t absolutely excited for this. She always found werewolves interesting, despite the stigma that other witches like her mother had about them. And when she found you, such a perfect creature, she couldn’t contain her emotion.
As a witch, she had to know when it would be a full moon night, because some spells only worked in it. So, in her eyes, you two weren’t so different. That’s why she kept you distracted, in hopes the moon would reach you before you noticed and it allowed her to watch you transform. Too bad you were more clever than she thought and you ran away, making her fly so as to not lose you.
But hey! She had always loved a good race!
________________
By the time you got to a clear place, your hands and feet were already completely covered in hair. It didn't take you long to finish transforming.
You hated it. Your joints were twisting in unnatural ways, you could feel your spine sag, and your bones change in size. It was terribly painful.
And tragically beautiful in the eyes of a witch hidden in the shadows.
For once in her life, Agatha decided not to push her luck and she remained hidden the entire time you were in the clearing. She never once took her eyes off you, and the howl you let out in the moonlight was etched in her memory and her heart.
_________________
You woke up tired, naked and thirsty. It was always exhausting to wake up after a full moon. If turning into a wolf was painful, returning to your human form was 100 times worse. Usually, you ended up so exhausted that you just passed out.
You jumped a little when you heard a branch snap. You were not alone. You didn't have the time or the strength to get to your feet to escape, and a purple smoke kept you in your place, preventing you from falling.
"Watch out, furball" said an amused voice.
You watched in surprise as the witch from the day before approached you with a basket and a cape. Agatha draped the cloak over your shoulders, disappearing the smoke around you.
"What are you doing here?" you asked carefully
"I went out for a walk when I saw a beautiful naked creature and thought I'd come say hi" she smiled, sarcasm evident in her voice.
You frowned but accepted the canteen she offered, you were thirsty after all. And it was very difficult to ignore the delicious smell that came out of the basket.
You sat in silence while the witch prepared what was evidently a picnic. You didn't understand why she would bother to be so nice to you, but you weren't in a position to say anything.
Agatha watched you with fascination as you ate and drank, obviously exhausted. You were adorable and the howl from the night before was still ringing in her head.
"I don't know if someone had told you, but you have a lovely howl" she told you.
You blinked in surprise and almost choked on the bread.
"Excuse me?" you said
"Your howl. It's adorable" she repeated, moving closer to you.
You swallowed when you realized that she must have followed you last night, which meant she had seen you transform. God, what a shame. The brunette enjoyed seeing you nervous and shamelessly ran her thumb over your lips. There was no trace of the elongated fangs that she could see last night, but it didn't matter, she was patient.
"I can't wait for the next full moon" she whispered.
"W-wait" you stuttered "A-are you flirting with me?"
Agatha smirked wickedly.
"Thanks for noticing"

I so want a WandaVision s2 that's just Hela like 'Screw that' and rescuing Agatha tbh... also we all know Ags had a wife.... somewhere in Westview, they just never showed her.
Hey Marvel! Please contact this lovely person, there's a good idea right there 👀
OMG But what if she did not have a wife? Make s2 a slowburn between Agatha and Hela that actually ends with them dating unlike Agatha/Wanda (bc we all KNOW that was a slowburn but Marvel's WEAK) 👀
No? Ok. I'll let myself out, just...

i’ve seen debate over almost every single marvel character’s sexuality but there is one person everyone is in agreement about and that is agatha being a lesbian bc she just absolutely is
Ahahahahhaha true!! Agatha's a lesbian and we all know it's canon.
We know it, Kathryn knows it, God knows it, Quetzalcoatl knows it. The universe knows it!
Marvel was just weak and coward.
But that's what fics are for, right?
