So I played this game today in Uni's fest, where we were asked to share a thing/incidence from the past two years of our lives that amazed us, or something that we found beautiful.

I couldn't really answer properly back there because there are just so many things that have inspired me. But the more I thought about it, the more I realised that the Jily fandom (or any fandom in general) is something that is so uniquely beautiful.

Majority of the people here don't know how the other person looks, majority of us are from different nations, majority of us speak different languages, we are all different ages, we all have different jobs, hell we all belong to different time zones!

But there's something like a thread that has tied us all together. It's something as simple as love for two people, that too fictional characters!

It's like, a fiction has given us something real. Divided my nations (perhaps) but united by a fandom!

And if that's not beautiful, I don't know what is.

“Oh wow, you were like real-life T-birds,” Katy muses.

“Did you have matching jackets?” Dorcas adds with a laugh.

Met with amusement, Sirius lifts his drink towards the end of the table, “T-shirts actually…”

“The bad apples—” Peter’s lip pulls up in a smirk, “—that’s what mum dubbed them,” no love lost.

“They say I’m trouble, they say I’m bad,” Mary and Lily sing in unison, echoes of the past, a common comeback to words of reproach.

Dorcas groans, “Oh brilliant, I’m going to have Rotten to the Core stuck in my head all day.”

Mary fist bumps Lily behind Sirius’ chair, turning back to Dorcas, “I still have the shirt, unfortunately none of us can pull off the hairdo as well as your girlfriend.”

Marlene responds by fluffing her vibrant pink hair, then blows a kiss in Mary’s direction.

For @hprecfest day 13: A fic with over 100k words.

I've only ever read a literal handful of stories this long, but I am currently making my way through Choose Your Own (sexy) Adventure by @ghostofbambifanfiction. A wonderful fic, amazingly written, brilliantly set-up and super intriguing, and most of it is text-based so it flows quickly and easily!

Jily Muggle AU. WIP, currently at 174,495 words (42/80 chapters).
