Before reading AGIT id never actually fully considered that ghosts can just fuse with other ghosts, I guess I thought it was just a special case with Dan, outside factors lining up just right and all that. I think ghost fusion has interesting uses and implications I would like to know more of

Dan is the only ghost we've seen doing this which I think is interesting, technically you could argue Skulker and Technus fuse as well, but that I see as a mere teamup since they're both distinctly there are apart. "Proper" ghost fusion seems to end with only one combined entity

Is it a well known power ghosts have? Can all ghosts do it? How rare is it that this happens? How stable do most fusions turn out? How long do they last? Just how much of an outlier is Dan in this case?

Separate but related rambles, my own thoughts on this, and apolocheese for the fanon, but I tend to imagine Dan's core is just the two mashed together, strong and trying to make something whole but yknow, still ultimately gonna be fractured and cracked in some way, thus its capable of drawing more energy in and fusing with others, although they'll not be nearly as wholly apart of him as Phantom and Plasmius, as Clockwork didn't seem to effect his personality, more like a power up of sorts

I just like thinking it's something only Dan can really do, to the extent he does it, though I do enjoy other interpretation

Oh man I wonder what other ghost fusions would look like. Imagine Dan and Fright Knight or something. Ooo Dan and Frostbite? And of course other non-Dan fusions, man I love the potential here

Hunger

Ghosts need to eat.

And you’re brain’s probably went to a dark place immediately, but no. There’s nothing cannibalistic or depraved about it.

There are plants based on ectoplasm, animals that reform. The Ghost zone simply has food. And ghosts eat it to survive, just as humans do.

In addition, ghosts do not tend to eat in meals.

In the Terminal, that lawless place in the shadow of Pariah’s Keep, they scavenge. They eat frequently, and whatever they can get their hands on.

Whereas in Elysium, the major Greek kingdom, they host meals. Roughly every earth fortnight, they will hold a massive banquet and eat until every one of them is satiated.

In such a place as a kingdom of the ghost zone, none go hungry. It is a value most everybody shares.

Then there is Danny.

Danny who does not know any better, the Phantom who has been starving for so long he is used to it, the boy that eats nothing but the excess ectoplasm his parents make him clean out of the ecto-filtrator.

He knows nothing of food. Has never known anything expect his volatile core and finicky abilities.

And now that she took a step back and actually looked, Pandora could see. This child’s core was something erratic, as though he’d been consuming raw ectoplasm. And his aura was faint enough that he must have been eating little of that, still.

That- that couldn’t be healthy. Pandora was no expert on the limits of those so liminal as to be halflings, but he was still a child. Even in the Wastes ghosts did not come so unhealthy as this.

But then, if he was liminal, and of the human realm, it was no surprise he didn’t know any better. Had he even ever eaten real food.

She wondered how he had functioned this long, wondered if he even understood there was anything wrong. He was young enough that he could likely digest food most ghosts could not handle, but Pandora did not know how well that would let the child sustain himself, considering she didn’t make a habit of testing the limits of child-stomachs.

So she easily grabbed Daniel in one hand, ignoring his alarmed yelp.

“We need to take you to a doctor at once, little one!” She said, rushing him from the outskirts to the depths of Elysium, paying no mind to his protest.

And if the child became an honored guest at her feasts after that, no one was complaining.

The poll with the most votes was Group P (the Death By Glamour one) with 794 votes, followed by Group W (735, Metal Crusher) and Group T (Spear of Justice vs Bergentrückung, 601).

With the least votes is Group C (275), beaten out by Group N (282) and Group L (318).

The average turnout in a poll was about 438 votes.

None of the Uwa! tracks qualified, with none of them getting over 10% of their group's vote. Temperate was the most popular.

Oh! One True Love and Oh! Dungeon were also both eliminated, though Dungeon scored much higher than One True Love.

Death Report qualified, with almost 4x the proportion of votes than Live Report.

In a great injustice, Can You Really Call This A Hotel, I Didn't Receive A Mint On My Pillow Or Anything was eliminated, but Hotel was not.

Spooktune was the only one of Napstablook's house songs that qualified.

The most dominating performance was by Death By Glamour, which was over 615 votes over any other track in its group (77.5%).

The closest race (other than the two ties) was between Reunited and Snowdin Town, by 0.6% (2 votes). However, both qualified.

The closest race that actually resulted in one track qualifying and one not was between the tie of Good Night and Oh My..., and Long Elevator, which was kicked out by 2.5% (9 votes).

Speaking of the ties, there were two within groups, and two in the Danger Zone across multiple groups.

The aforementioned Good Night and Oh My... both got 68 votes or 15.4%. In Group F, It's Raining Somewhere Else and SAVE The World both got 182 votes (32.2%), both winning their group.

Interestingly, two strange occurrences happened. Groups M and U both got 329 votes, and their third place tracks, Reunited and Hotel, both got 53 votes (16.1%). Similarly, Groups B and Q both got 352 votes, and their third place tracks Oh! One True Love and Respite both got 46 votes (13.1%).

The highest-placing tracks by percentage that did not qualify were Spookwave, which got 17.3% but came 4th in its group, and Oh! Dungeon, likewise with 16.2%.

The lowest-placing tracks by percentage which still qualified were For The Fans, which got 6.8% yet still came 2nd, and Menu (Full), the same with 11.8%.

THE WIND WAKER AHHHHHHHH I love this game SO much, ranked right below OOT and MM for my all time favorites.

One of my biggest critiques of the game is that I wish Aonuma was given the proper time to develop the game since you can tell that there should be more but a lot was cut out for time constraints. Still an incredible game but what I would give to have a full scale sequel or the full scope of the original game T^T!!!

I love this game so much holy shit. What a perfect sequel to the Hero of Time story, what a great continuation of Ganondorf's motive. I definitely wish there was more, esp dungeons and zora and towns, but this game was made pretty quick after MM and on the GC so I know there are limitations. Everything from Link, Tetra, the sound effects, the stylization, the Rito, the Koroks, Ganondorf, oh my god I absolutely adore it. Everything about it is so unique yet having the core Zelda elements within it. I also noticed how many future games took a lot of inspiration from this game, esp TP and TOTK. I also love how involved Tetra/Zelda is to the plot, Link could not have succeeded without her help, esp in the final battle and when saving Aryll. This game gives so much personality and background to Link and Tetra, every single cutscene is such a delight. This would be a super replayable game if my GC wasn't so wonky. Hopefully it'll come back to the switch. I love this game :')

because I am Normal, here's my attempt at giving Kazuma and Ryunosuke pokemon teams.

KAZUMA'S TEAM:

Themes: Samurais/blades ; intimidating and headstrong ; bit of darkness.

Gallade - A Psychic/Fighting type with blades on its elbows. Its Pokedex entries often talk about how it jumps to protect others.

Samurott - A Water type samurai Pokemon like come on. But also could be replaced with Milotic because I want to give him more pretty Pokemon.

Froslass - An Ice/Ghost type mostly for type coverage. The kimono-esque look is a bonus but you could also argue something something icy glare(?)

Runerigus - A Ground/Ghost type. It has the ability Wandering Spirit which reminded me of when he "died" and got amnesia ooo.

Meowscarada - A Grass/Dark cat Pokemon. Initially this was Sceptile for type coverage, but then last minute I wanted to add a cat for Nyasogi. Then I realized Meowscarada is a cat with a mask (Nyasked Apprentice?? >:o) and yeah that's about it.

Kingambit - A Dark/Steel samurai Pokemon this is soooo Kazuma-core✨ Its his ace with Supreme Overload ability let's go.

RYUNOSUKE'S TEAM:

Themes: Dragons ; bit of an underdog story ; friendly looking but powerful.

Gyarados - A Water/Flying Pokemon but a blue dragon in spirit. It starting from Magikarp then evolving into a super powerful mon to kinda represent turnabouts. To be honest, I did think of having Palafin for that instead but I think Gyarados' ✨aesthetic✨ fits him better.

Flygon - A Ground/Dragon type for coverage but also he needs more dragons on his team! That's about it really rip.

Maushold - A Normal type mouse Pokemon.... CHUUNOSUKE MY BELOVED. Also FOUND FAMILY (LITERALLY.)

Darmanitan - A Fire/Psychic (zen mode) type based on daruma doll. Hehehe.

Heracross - A Fighting/Bug type I put here because... I have a soft spot for him. He's just a friendly :] guy!! and arguably that's also what Ryuu is. Could also be swapped for Decidueye bc archery or something.

Dragonite - A Flying/Dragon type that's his ace. Its Pokedex entries says that it likes to help people out lost at sea and bring them to shore (metaphors...)

What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Oof in general I usually stick to happy endings so there hasn't been a ton of angsty endings! But I once wrote a fic exploring a character navigating the aftermath of the sudden death of his wife. It ends with him bonding with a woman in a bar who had also lost her husband, and they dance together and while it's nice to have some sort of companionship again, there's an unspoken agreement that nothing and no one would ever compare to their late spouses. (Based off the song Ghost of You by 5SOS, specifically the last line!) I don't usually write major character deaths, and I actually ended up taking that one down because it was too sad for me haha.

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? The rest of my fics pretty much all have HEAs because at my core that's what I enjoy most haha. But my favorite and probably fluffiest ending is Fire Red and Ocean Blue.

Do you get hate on fics? I don't remember ever getting any hate! *knock on wood*

Do you write smut? What kind? I do not, but I always enjoy reading a good smut fic!

Do you write crossovers? No, but I love AUs or fics based off of other books/shows/movies!

Have you ever had a fic translated? Also no haha.

Have you ever cowritten a fic before? I've attempted to, a loooong time ago when I was first getting into fanfic. Nothing ever came of it though, we were both, like, 12 so it fizzled haha. I have no idea where that person is today but I hope they're doing well!!

What WIP would you like to finish, but doubt you ever will? Back when s1 of Outer Banks came out I started working on a Jiara one night stand fic and got about halfway done. I still think about it often, but too much has happened in s2 and 3 it just wouldn't make sense anymore and I'd basically have to start from scratch.

What's your all-time favorite ship? This is a tough one! My oldest and most beloved ships will always be Romione and Percabeth. But no ship has ever, and may never again, have me in a chokehold quite like Juke did during the height of my JatP hyperfixation. So one of those three! 😂

What are your writing strengths? Ooo I love a good theme or motif or analogy and bringing everything back around full circle. It makes my little perfectionist virgo brain very happy haha.

What are your writing weaknesses? Sometimes I'll rush through the little details just to get to the main plot points. I constantly have to remind myself to slow down, a sort of "stop and smell the roses" if you will, and set the scene or create unique little character details to make my fics more descriptive.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in a another language for a fic? If it's needed it's needed! I usually will copy/paste and look up the translation if I need to.

First fandom you wrote for? Glee haha. I used to be OBSESSED.

Favorite fic you've ever written? I feel like this answer changes depending on my mood haha. Right now I think it'd have to be Been Counting My Blessings Thinking This Through, but that could totally be recency bias haha. I am very proud of it though!

What fic would you want to rewrite someday? I wrote this PJO (Tratie) fic called Rivers about 10 years ago and to this day the idea behind it is probably one of my favorite ideas I've ever had for a fic. When I reread it now, I can't help but see the writing of a 15 year old girl who had no idea what she was talking about and was unable to execute it in the way I wanted to in my mind haha. I always tell myself I'm going to rewrite it, and maybe with the show coming out soon, it'll inspire me to!

So this is a little steamier peek at Part 2 of my Tommy Shelby x reader fic (Part 1 out Monday 😅):

He buried his face in your hair, his long eyelashes fluttering against the edge of your face. Then he turned his head and his lips slipped across your jaw, ghosting breathlike kisses over your skin as they began to travel down your throat. When he reached your shoulder, he bit down lightly, drawing a soft gasp of pleasure from your lips and you felt him buck against you at the sound. But as his mouth began to travel lower, you lifted his chin so you could see his face.  His usually pale blue eyes had darkened with lust and the hunger you saw there made you ache deep within your core. This was a different side to Tommy that you had never seen. While your time together was always pleasurable, you were providing him a service and that was always apparent in his actions. But now…for once it felt about you just as much as about him. It felt like something deeper than just his regular weekly appointment. Yet before you lost yourself completely to him, before you let yourself believe it could be more, you had to know for sure.

the 2.0 in battle fight 2.0, explaiined. blade spoilers, kabuto spoilers, godspeed love spoilers/kabuto movie spoilers, den-o spoilers, and ooo spoilers (just in case) below please be warned

listen. i love blade, don't get me wrong. i've watched the 12 minute blade meme video more times than i care to count. that said, the battle fight in blade was really sloppily executed. who are the card monsters and why are they killing people? what are the risks and rewards of fighting the card monsters as a kamen rider? both of these questions don't get answered early on and the answers to these as they're revealed genuinely feel pulled out of the screenwriter's ass. (i'm not salty about the remote not working after all 4 suits have been sealed)

battle fight, was, at its core, a battle royale between standard suit deck of monsters. the winner got their wish granted by the shitty fuckin' mobius rock (fuck the mobius rock!) but that was only explained to us more than halfway through the show. the 2.0 appended to it implies an upgrade in every way. sure, we see that it's a dangerous, deadly battle royale from episode 1, where the winner gets a wish granted, but instead of becoming disinterested due to knowing all that already, mr takahashi builds the suspense by having us follow tanuki guy as he learns about the battle royale from scratch.

blade began knowing a bit about the monsters and why it was important to fight them, but i think the world ending shit was only thrown in during the early 40s episodes. however, we don't see a lot of memory-wiping stuff in blade unless it's like.... i guess hirose's dead dad's nice evil clone or something???? snyways, instead of relying on blade's vague outlines, geats does a nice job of blending some intriguing conceits and concepts from a few other kamen rider seasons.

first, the fact that contestants can get to the battle royale from anywhere in the city using their driver. this is a conceit that was used a lot in den-o, to both comedic and somber effects. geats takes this and amplifies this, with the phone calls to loved ones from the empty echoey hallway outside the battle royale lounge. (i bet that hall echoes wih the ghosts of dead riders past but we'll leave that for the fanfics, shall we?) it takes the contrast between isolation (the contestants aren't allowed to tell non-contestants about the battle royale) and connection (the phone calls as attempts to connect with the outside world) builds tension quite deliciously.

second, the fact that the focus character is a "weak, average guy" was something airlifted directly from shoji yonemura's kamen rider kabuto. the parallels between kitsune and tanuki, to tendou souji and kagami arata are almost palpable. there's even a grandma quote copypasted into the dialogue of episode 2. from the perspective of the "weak, average guy" we as an audience have the advantage of seeing the titular protagonist's brusque and rude side as well as getting to see his cool and kind side. the fact that the tanuki guy chose to sacrifice to let kitsune get the victory for the sake of humanity is parallel to a certain movie (hello godspeed love). the fact that we get to see the kitsune secretly stick up for tanuki guy to purple asshole in the card fight mission during round/wave 2 is parallel to the tendou souji who joined zect just to secretly help kagami stalk that doctor guy who got impersonated by a bunch of worms. howevery, geats makes this better by possibly swapping out the supporting cast each new wave/world. i can't wait to see who the next supporting cast will be!

third, straight from my heart and soul, the power behind the battle royale contestants' strengths to fight is desire. if you've seen kamen rider ooo you know the drill. however, instead of leaving the wish up to chance if they win, like in the blade's battle fight, geats forces the contestants to confront their desires beforehand. kinda like the imagin from den-o and the greeed from ooo, the characters must all make a wish, before confronting their own mortality and gambling their lives towards something they've always wanted. now, i have no doubt hino eiji would be a monster in this colisseum, but let's save that for the fanfiction as well. during the ensuing fights and power struggles, the contestants are once again reminded of their reasons for fighting, and that guides their decisions into the battle royale we see today. it's also lightly implied that the battle royale is powered by the strengths of the contestants' desires, but let's save that conversation for once again when i have more evidence to back it up.

anyways, battle fight two point oh is better in almost every way than blade's battle fights (which there were also two of, but i use point oh to disambiguate between blade's and geats's). i lobe blade but it was like watching a train wreck i just can't look away. geats is something else. i haven't yet figured out what metaphor defines it yet. but i'm thinking about it.
