Beth asking Rio what he thinks about the money... it’s like she wants his approval. She wants him to be proud. She would always say to Annie and Ruby “it’s what he would do.” Beth learned from Rio and I could see them becoming partners down the line. Rio’s “I think I need you alive”... oh boo you don’t even want to kill her. He doesn’t need her to make the money, but he wants her. I loved that episode.

"I think I need you alive." LIKE OF COURSE YOU DO!!! lol, i got way too excited about that line, but like you know it's progress at least! So much eye contact during that scene.. I was planning on waiting a couple more episodes to vid them, but this happened anyway. I was pretty scared for season 3, the dynamic between them has clearly changed, and there is entirely too much dean/death so far, but i think there's still hope. Now can they just kiss and make up? Or maybe have an actual conversation this season? Cause these two need to TALK. 

I'm really happy to finally get new content though, it's been so long since i vidded them and the vibe of this song, especially the slowed down version, fits with them i think.

Also I'm glad we're getting to see more of Rio's character this season, I love getting scenes with just him without Beth, being a badass and I love that Beth herself is becoming more of a boss too.

Let me know what you think is gonna happen this season?? Honestly all my guesses have been wrong so far lol. Like I was SO not anticipating Beth saying she was pregnant to get out of being murdered and then I didn't expect her to say she lost the baby either, but like i'm glad that storyline got over quickly.

it would've been so amazing if we got a Rio pov scene In 3x04( i actually loved the bar scene but i wanted more!!) . Like??? Could you imagine how he must've of felt??? She literally told him she had a miscarriage!!???? What????? I'm not sure if he ever believed her , but still. I agree with you. Its a pattern with this show to never let the characters process their emotions for too long . I know this show focuses more on plot i guess but still its so frustrating as a viewer. Tg for Manny's acting skills though he always did the most in every small Rio scene in s3. Shame on the writers for not giving him more to do. Smh

Right???? I genuinely don’t think he ever believed her, I can do a separate post on my thoughts regarding his emotions in that scene, because I have many. But regardless, I wish we could’ve seen both of them on their own after that conversation. I just don’t understand it. They chose to adopt a more serious tone where the plot wasn’t as whacky and you’d think that means they’d focus more on the characters and their emotional journeys but they just didn’t. They consistently cut the scene before it gets too deep.

We literally went from the scene where Rio confronts Beth at the bar and she drops the pregnancy bomb to her and Dean fucking. WHY? I wanted to see both her and Rio’s reactions after that. Does he just leave without a word or slump back down into his seat and get another drink? I’m leaning towards the former but we don’t know. I wanted to see her panic when she was alone, fumbling with her keys and trying to figure out how the fuck she was gonna make it out of that situation alive. I wanted all of this emotion before she was actually trying to get pregnant. It’s not something that even needs dialogue for gods sake and it’s not like the characters themselves don’t have time to sit with these emotions because the timeline is really fast paced. There were several weeks between the original bar scene and the doctors office but they just skipped right over it. 😭😩

This is one of my favourite scenes ever. Idk if it’ll make much sense without the context of the show it’s from, but the symbolism of one character taking her ‘mask’ off while the other puts his on, and the complete emptiness in both their faces is just sooooo good. They took something as simple as two characters getting changed and made it powerful as fuck. The way the scene intercuts? I love it and I wish gg could’ve given us something similar. Although they could never hold a candle to that production. The way the camera cuts to the beat of the song is fucking sick
