as was said in the events announcement post, good girls game night wil be happening on july 31st, starting at 8pm gmt! this time, we’ll be playing guess who, pictionary and trivia! read the details below and please reblog to spread the word!

GUESS WHO AND PICTIONARY

guess who and pictionary will be played individually and will take place at 8pm and 9pm gmt, respectively (please check out what time that is for you here). how long these games will last will depend on how many people join, but it should be between 30 and 50 minutes, so as to allow for a small break before the next game. you can rsvp for guess who and/or pictionary using this form!

TRIVIA

trivia will take place at 10pm gmt (check out what time that is for you here), but it will also be available to play asynchronously throughout the following week for people who can’t play at that time. live trivia can be played individually or as a duo. if you want to play as a team but don’t know who to ask, you can sign-up to be assigned a team member here until july 26th. if you’re playing solo or already have a teammate, you can rsvp here until july 28th!

this time, the game will have 10 rounds, composed by 5 questions each: the good girls, the bolands, the hills, the marks, all about rio, enemies to lovers to enemies to i don’t even know anymore, johnny law, soundbite, the devil’s in the details, and say cheese. the game takes 78 minutes to complete if the maximum amount of time is used for each question, but it will only close after 90 minutes, to allow for a small break in the middle or talk between teammates between rounds.

the same rules from last time apply: only one person from each team can answer, teams are responsible for finding a way to communicate as there is no built-in platform in the game, and you can’t look up things on the internet, watch good girls episodes, talk to people who aren’t on your team during the game or share the questions/answers with other people while asynchronous trivia is still happening.

unlike last time, time does count for points in this edition of good girls trivia. as such, the scoreboards that appear throughout the game will be accurate. we hope this will be a fun feature for people, to foment some healthy competitivity.

GENERAL INFO

there will be 3 winners, all of which will be announced after asynchronous trivia is over. the main attraction is, of course, the bragging rights, but there are also some small prizes to further entice players: the person with the most points when pictionary is over will get 1 IOU gifset, the person with the most points when trivia is over will get 2 IOU gifsets (in the case of a team winning, that is 2 IOU gifsets each) and the person with the most points when asynchronous trivia is over will get 1 IOU gifset. it is not possible to choose a winner for guess who as the platform does not have a way to give points and matches are made randomly, so that game is strictly for fun.

as was the case last time, links to access the games will be posted roughly 5 minutes before they are supposed to start, so please don’t forget to be on the look-out for that day of.

all games will require player usernames. we recommend using your tumblr url, so that it’s easier to keep track of who is who. if you decide to play trivia as a team, you will have to come up with a team name of 15 characters or less, as it’s not possible to input both urls.
