Him: if he's breaking up with you, he'll tell you after he gets his head straight. He wants to be as honest with you as possible. If you start breaking down into tears in front of him, he'll either allow you to calm down on your own and hold you close one last time while rubbing your tears away.

If you guys haven't been together for more than a year then Heizou probably won't want to settle down for a ring with you... Yet.

Like, he'd love too! Being able to listen to bells ring and watch you walk down the isle as you look so beautiful in your wedding dress/suit. He can't picture anything more better..

But he wants to be free first and getting everything in his life together.... Then, at the perfect moment, he'll get on his knees and pull out a ring for you.

Depends on the situation, if it's just any other normal day Heizou is very teasing and flirty towards you but in the affectionate and loving way.

But if you're in a bad mood, expect this man to be running to your side the moment he sees you. He'll drop his flirty act and will immediately ask you to tell him everything.

If you don't want to talk then he's fine with that, but he'll definitely hold you close in his arms, rocking you in his arms a little, while telling you some things.

He needs to hug you at least three times everyday or else he'll go clinically insane without your touch.

And when I say clinically insane I mean: very depressed puppy, "my lover must've forgotten me :(", begging eyes, he's going to be clinging onto you for a long while like a baby koala to it's mother

Heizou is very straightforward with his feelings

Like he'll like fall in love with you after he's known you for so long. He wants to know you!

And the moment he realizes these sudden feelings... It takes him awhile to process it, maybe a few weeks.

During those few weeks he makes it very obvious by his 'sudden' gestures.

Like he's suddenly helping you carry your things, wants to walk you back to your home, asks to get coffee literally everyday, wondering how you are and asking every 5 minutes...

...but specifically, it's his flirting. It got x10 crazier.

After he's calmed down after those weeks... He'll definitely be straightforward with you, praying that you'll reciprocate those feelings.

If you called Heizou out for being jealous he'd take it as a funny joke.

"Me? jealous? Man alive! You must take me for a fool! my dear, I know you would never want to leave meee"

And this was true.

He was not the jealous type because he knew you very well. He put lots of trust into you.

Althoughhhhh... If he was to become jealous, it would be difficult to notice. He'd act the same as always, but instead he'd be more touchy with you in front of the person.

He'd hug you tightly and smother you in kisses, not caring at the moment if you're embarrassed, or he'd put his hands around your hips while sending a unnoticeable glare at the other.

Heizou's kisses hold so much warmth and love. Every kiss he's given feels like you're re-falling in love with him again.

His favorite areas to kiss you are the unlikely areas. He wants to catch you off guard and surprise you! So he'll choose a different area everytime. He'll kiss your ear one day, then kiss the top of your hand another day. He'll do the strangest things like put your shoes on for you before kissing your knee while giving a wink.

He's likely sensitive around his neck. If you start to kiss his neck, he'll definitely melt under your touch.

Heizou knows how to handle them, he just isn't around many actually.

Like the only times he'd hang out with children is if he was invited by a bunch to play soccer in the neighborhood or something like that.

He's definitely the type of adult to want to make children laugh, always crack up a joke, but he will give them a one-on-one talk if they're doing something wrong.

A kid throw a football at it broke a car window? Help them out and have them apologize to the owner of the car.

Children probably think he's really cool!

If you have younger siblings then he wants to make sure he gets along with them to earn your respect but also for the fun of it.

It doesn't matter what the stakes are. They like basketball? He does too, and now he's suddenly got two tickets for the himself and them. They like having tea parties? Heizou would look good in a dress and definitely likes tea now. They like bed time stories before bed? He does too and he'll definitely read them to them!

M - Mornings

He's different every day. Sometimes he's waking up early in the morning and make you guys breakfast, other times he doesn't want to get out of bed and just wants to cuddle you forever!

If he's getting up early, expect him to be trying to wake you up as well. If it doesn't work and he needs to be somewhere then he'll leave you a cute sticky note on your phone.

"hey love! Sorry, I had to run a errand :( I was trying to wake you up but seems you care about your sleep more than me >:( anyways, I'll see you when I get back! Text me when you're awake <3 love you!!"

If he doesn't need to go anywhere, he's carrying you over to the couch. Why? Because he wants to watch some cartoons or the news or anything while cuddling you >:(

It doesn't matter how he's getting you to the couch, whether its literally carrying you or waking you up just so you can go back to sleep later. He wants cuddles!!!

If he's too busy and he's trying to finish up something, makesure to let him know that's he's been up to long or he'll forget about the time and when he does try to go to bed... It will be like 5:32 AM by then.

Depends. If you guys were LONG term friends before you dated then you likely already know a lot about him

He trusts you. He knows you're of good heart (even if you were the type to act like you don't care sometimes)

But when you started to date, you learned some things you never expected to find out about him after the first few months or dates

He is open about anything with you

He wants there to be trust and balance between one another

The real question is... How patient are YOU?

This man has unbelievable patience. Like of course he can get annoyed with people when they're being unreasonable but he does the logical thing and tries to either calm down or just ignore it

But with you?

It's actually HIM annoying YOU. Whether it's him being way to affectionate in public where you literally have to start running off before people start assuming weird things about you or it's him getting under your skin with little things so he can see you pout or get ready to punch him

Either way, he has a LOT of patience with you. You guys can annoy one another easily but he doesn't hold any grudges

Of course, don't start doing stupid and unreasonable shit like smashing his car window because he took the last piece of pie or something

His memory is very... Strange.

He'll remember every little thing about you. You saw a charm in a store that caught your eye specifically but didn't get? Don't worry he's got it right before you left the store. Somehow not noticing.

But somehow he has to be reminded your birthday sometimes

He loves how you opened you to him so differently compared to others

Even if you open up to people easily

The sparkle in your eyes, the small smile tugging at the corner of your lips, the way he'd catch you staring...

Every little secret you'd tell him, putting some trust into him...

He felt like he earned that respect and he was proud of it

If it hasn't been obvious enough, he puts all his trust into... Praying you won't break his heart, but he knows you wouldn't do that to him!

Of course, whenever you guys out to places like the bar or a concert, he's got his hand in your back pocket or around your waist... Holding you close as you guys walk through big crowds.

Now, he isn't the jealous type BUT if he HAD to step into something, he's definitely got a way with his words. He'll get you out of there right away, dragging you away.

This is the same for if you're in a uncomfortable situation around people

He'll pour all his love and money into anything for you (of course, the money part is in reasonable price.)

He's so hard working to make sure you're doing well. Making sure you're happy and healthy, always helping you with your chores or job, giving some of his own advice

Although Heizou does love to cuddle with you during the night... There are many nights where he just can't make it to bed when you want him to be there

He'll be stuck at his desk completing his work (whether it's a literal professional job or college work)

the hiyori case || shikanoin heizou

masterlist characters: heizou genre: angst contains: reader death, swears, spoilers for heizou's hangout events summary: as aether sorts through the files after becoming heizou''s supervisor for the day, he discovers a case that seems to be of great importance to the great detective. notes: before i go through with that 5wirl idea, i wanted to keep up my tradition of writing characters for the first time with angst :)

aether stood by the case files, thumbing through the pages of ones that caught his (or paimon's) eye. he finds himself rolling his eyes at the "prince of mischief" that he and paimon so "cleverly" deduced to be the one and oni they had come to know. he lets out a light chuckle at the thought of gorou being called out to help search for the missing dogs in ritou. he raises an eyebrow, amused at the uncreative title of "heizou talks fraud".

however, paimon finds a case file tucked away among the rest of them that seems to catch her eye.

"aether! aether!" she cries out, letting out quiet grunts as she shimmies the bundle of papers out of the shelf. she flies over to aether, waving it in the air. "let's look at this one!"

"what's got you so excited over this one?" aether hums, raising a brow as he grabs the file from his companion.

"it looks really serious! unlike the other ones we read," paimon points out, gesturing towards the messy title written on the cover. "see?"

aether swats at paimon's hand which covers the title due to her jittery movements. he stares for a moment before pursing his lips. unlike the others, there was no real hint at what the actual case was about.

the hiyori case was written hastily, the letters barely legible. aether simply nods before opening the file, his eyes quickly scanning over the contents of the first page.

the hiyori case: in the early hours of XXXX, the body of (l/name) (name) was found on shikanoin heizou's doorstep.

"what?!" paimon cried out, scurrying away from reading over aether's shoulders. aether jumps at the shrill scream, much like the others surrounding the area. heizou shoots the two a curious look before his eyes land on the file in aether's hands. the complaint letter he had previously received was crumpled in his fist before falling to the ground.

"where..." heizou had a question on the tip of his tongue before he shook his head. he already knew the answer. he let out a shaky breath before grabbing aether's wrist, dragging the traveler behind his workplace. once he let go, he crossed his arms, his eyes averted and staring at the floor. "...well?"

"huh?"

"out with it," he huffed. "you read the case, right?"

"ah, only the first part," aether muttered, rubbing the back of his neck. "we... we don't have to look at it. i can put it back and we can talk about--"

"no," heizou interrupted, quickly shaking his head. "this case... it's already been solved."

"huh? so why is it in the case files?" paimon asked, tilting her head curiously. "paimon thought the case files over there were unsolved?"

"i... never had the heart to get rid of it," heizou responded, finally looking back up. "just... go ahead and read it."

"you sure?"

heizou only nodded.

the hiyori case: in the early hours of XXXX, the body of (l/name) (name) was found on shikanoin heizou's doorstep.

shikanoin heizou was not named as the prime suspect as he had been under direct watch the night of (l/name) (name) death as shown in the autopsy.

the autopsy report of (l/name) (name): the deceased, (l/name) (name), police station detective, rank doushin. clothes torn at time of death consistent with injuries. bruises and cuts from a knife found on the body. the victim's blood was found to have created a trail to shikanoin heizou's doorstep, beginning outside the archway leading to the shikanoin residence. cause of death is found to be loss of blood derived from the various cuts and stab wounds found on the victim.

aether could only wince at the details of the autopsy, shivering at the photos attached alongside it. the cruel sight of a (h/color)-haired individual sprawled out helplessly on the cobblestone path. their left arm was stretched above them, as if they were reaching out for something.

the missing caravan case: the missing caravan case was the last case (l/name) (name) had investigated prior to their death. the case involved a caravan that had been reported missing by the international trade association. the caravan was en route from ritou to inazuma city. the contents were reported to be financial reports as well as various goods that had been surrendered to the association. (l/name) (name) had a lead that they had been unable to submit a report on before their death.

"so they had a lead on a missing caravan?" paimon hummed, turning to aether. "would that have been reason for their death?"

"maybe..." aether's assumptions proved to be right when they caught heizou uncomfortably shuffling in front of him.

(l/name) (name)'s message: heizou, i know kujou sara's been breathing down your neck lately. i told you to get your reports done and not to put them off! maybe next time you'll listen to me! anyway, after i figure out this lead, i'll head home. you probably won't be able to until morning, but hopefully i'll be awake to see you! i can make you some tonkatsu if you want! make sure you don't sleep on your desk! you'll get back problems before you even hit your mid-life crisis!

"oh! kujou sara signed it!" paimon gasps, patting aether's shoulder. the traveler merely nods before closing the file, tucking it under his arm. heizou's eyes shot up to meet aether's.

"ah, you finished so soon?" he hummed softly, the confident and snarky tone missing from his voice. "so? any questions?"

"the victim, (l/name) (name)..." aether trailed off for a moment. "how did you know them?"

"they were my... partner, you could say," heizou chuckled, crossing his arms. "we worked together even before ending up with the police. we just sort of stuck together."

"that can't be all!" paimon pouts, gesturing to the file in aether's arm wildly. "the files had a message from the victim addressed to you!"

"heh, you caught me," heizou laughed, his shoulders slumping. "mmm we were partners, i wasn't lying on that. i'd say they were the best partner i ever had."

"what about the missing caravan case?" aether was quick to change the subject, much to paimon's dismay.

"(name) had been obsessed with that case. i had a hunch but i never knew why for sure. i wish i took that case from them, that much i'm sure of."

"and the suspect was hiyori... something," aether pointed out. "the first name's all crossed out."

"i found him," heizou nodded, his eyes glaring daggers at the file. "i found that bastard and begged for kujou sara to put him to death. i wanted him dead because he left them for dead. a low life like him didn't deserve to rot in jail."

"heizou's... really intense about this, huh?" paimon mutters under her breath.

"i crossed his name out. he doesn't deserve to be known either," heizou continued. "you saw that photo of (name), right? in front of ou... my house?"

aether simply nodded.

"they crawled their way there. they could have lived that night if i got home quicker or... or if that bastard didn't track them down and stab them again."

aether handed the file off to paimon before stepping closer to heizou, placing his hand against the detective's arm. he didn't say anything and opted to stand there in silent comfort.

"they... this case was the reason i do what i do now," heizou muttered, his voice wavering. "i stare at that case every damn day because i try to forget it's there only to see it again. i want to get every case done the right way because... because i worry about that case."

"worry about what?" paimon asked, her head tilting slightly.

"that i was wrong," heizou clarified. "i worry that i begged for a person to die for a crime they may not have done. i look over the clues the police station has every time i can because i might have missed something last time. and every time i have to look at their face. not the one i have framed at home but the one that's battered and bloodied on the concrete in front of my house."

heizou clutches onto aether's arm which was the closest thing he could grab for stability.

"they were the best partner i could ever ask for, aether... and the archons know that i miss them and would trade everything in the world just to come back home to them like they would expect me to..."

Don't be fooled by his cool façade. Even if he may attempt to make himself appear collected and unbothered when he's around you that man is absolutely charmed by you, horrendously so. Hell, no matter how many teasing comments he may throw at you trying to catch you off-guard more often than not its a way for him to regain himself and hopefully get the upper hand.

Prior to getting with you he'll be more flirty with you than anyone else, his words are coquettish and his playful demeanour is only sharper as he manages to find a way to make an amorous or passionate joke out of most situations. -- however you could merely argue that it's just how he is, irs his personality, despite how different it is compared to how he treats everyone else. He doesn't outright say it, not until he feels like he must. In truth, nobody wants to be rejected by the person they like, but if he notices how your behaviour towards him changes, how you entertain these ideas of him, how you get so close to him he can feel his heart stuck at his throat. He begins to hope. It only takes one long day filled with hightened emotions and actions that feel like memories he was born to fulfill, words he was meant to speak to you, for him to finally say it.

After you two start dating god is he direct. He will make his love for you as clear as day, he doesn't see why he wouldn't. Though, that doesn't mean he shows you everything. After all, it'd be embarrassing for him if he told you just how much he liked you, though he doesn't mind showing you on special occasions in detail both verbally and physically.

the level of trust that Heizou has embedded within you is one not easily achieved nor granted. His trust in you is much higher than with anyone else, despite being confident about where his peers stand with him he sees you as his indefinite rock, someone's who's tied to him at the hip and who covers his blind spot out of sheer habit. He didn't get you involved with his cases often but something he enjoyed was hearing your interpretations. In an unintentional way, you end up looking out for clues without you realising whenever he takes up a new case. You rarely ever directly insert yourself into a situation, but if there's someone he needs to help him catch a criminal he knows who to ask.

say the word and he's right at your side in the blink of an eye. Actually, you wouldn't even have to speak for him to notice when you're distressed or behaving oddly. It starts with small actions coming from you, slight wrinkles around your eyes and forehead as you furrow your brows ever so slightly, the glaze over your eye seemingly holding a different darker hue, and it felt more as though you were out of it, mind rummaging elsewhere as you begin to neglect or forget about all kinds of things, from irrelevant to gravely important. He maintains a patient mind with you, waiting for you regardless and making sure to make up for mistakes you've made, offering you a guiding hand.

He doesn't verbally approach you immediately unless you looked like you were on the brink of breaking, otherwise he begins to involve himself with you furthermore, checking in with you whenever he sees you wandering around, attempting to make dishes you find comfort in, offering you more affection as he clings to you more, and spending more of his free time around you (in truth he merely ditches going to the Tenryou Comission opting to be there for you. The worse that could happen is him being barraged by Sara anyways.) However, if he sees that you're purposely attempting to avoid speaking about it with anyone that's when he acknowledges it. Patient he is, but that doesn't mean he won't already be looking into it himself, he can't help listening to his intuition.

and let me take good care of you

he really is the kindness to spoil you with affection. Whether it be verbal or physical just know he always has something up his sleeve. When it comes to gifts I'd think he'd rather find them with you, travelling to a beautiful view and looking around to find something to keep. He's the kind to adore matching bracelets, I don't doubt that if you had made a pair for the both of you he'd tease you relentlessly, but don't let that distract you from how wide he's smiling. He'll honour you with everything he has, he'll ensure that you are happy because to him, you mean the world and so much more.

Shikanoin is a great detective and a reason for that is how attentive he is to little details that others may dismiss. Trust that he'll take mental notes of: foods you like that he could cook for you (and add some shikanoin love into the mix), items you saw outside window shopping, items that remind him of you, sounds that bother you, habits you have when you get nervous or anxious around others, how you like to be held or to hold him when you're sleeping. It's all stuff he keeps in mind throughout daily life subconsciously, you just become an inherently big part of him.

If you are ever in a tight spot the last thing you'd have to do is outright tell him. Everyone has their secrets, and many of us want to keep things to ourselves, including burdens. However, if you were stuck in a position where you can't do anything, rest assured. Heizou doesn't outright tell you that he's figured it out, he waits for the slightest sign of a confession or request from you to act upon his plans.

Arguments between you weren't common, there wasn't a lot to argue about. Though, if a situation arises and you two get into a heated debate about something, it's hard to recover. Hard because it becomes a question of who'll speak first. If you give him the silence treatment, believe me he'll return it, but after a while he'll realise that he only reciprocated the treatment because he was upset at you. He will approach you first and if he was in the wrong he'll apologise to you, but if it was something you did that hurt him he'd urge you to understand how he feels and wait on an apology.

A part of him feels that arguing would be a waste, because in truth when it comes down to it, you two are at each others beck and call, risking your love just over some disagreement is the last thing he'd want.

Your brows furrow as you teasingly glare at him, he merely responds with a sheepish smile as though he was a naïve criminal, caught red-handed, though that grin quickly morphed into his signature cocky smile as his gaze narrowed onto you "I can't help it when you look so pretty like this, all for me, too." You suppose you should be glad that he was very thorough with his searches.

It was painfully easy to trust Shikanoin Heizou.

But if only you had heard more about him beforehand, you'd have known that he always acted in his own interest before anything else. There was no obstacle, no riveting case, or fear of consequence that would stop him from pursuing his own goals.

This was exactly why you shouldn't have believed a word that he said when he assured you that your correspondence with him was only for professional reasons. Information, he told you then, that will help in solving cases. In retrospect, the way his lips wavered while trying to keep his expression stern, at the very least, should have it gave it all way. That, and the fact that the detective had never pretended to look serious. (Even if you had pointed it out then, you supposed the only reaction you'd have gotten would be him crowing in delight, "So you noticed all these things about me? I'm flattered, partner—really!'")

You had ignored the glaringly obvious truth in favor of blindly trusting the fascinating figure, much too captivated by his self-assured air and his ardent desire to observe everything about you and your humble abode. You were charmed by him, by the idea that such an important individual would have made the long journey down here to see your modest town when no other government official bothered to even glance this way. And when he spins an elaborate, irresistible web of lies to you and everyone else in a courteous manner, his voice far too composed for the way his eyes brightened with newfound interest, that the Commission was trying to help smaller towns and villages now, that he was here to stay and solve all the cases that had gone unnoticed before his arrival, the smug smirk that appeared at the end was a subtle warning that you all had fallen head first into his trap.

It didn't strike you as odd when he approached you either, asking if you could help him out while he was staying.

"If you'd do me the honor of working as my temporary assistant during my stay," he had said, voice earnest and tinged with anticipation, "I'd really appreciate it."

There were more lies that followed, of course, that silvery voice promising you that you only needed to provide him with information and that you'd hardly be needed for more than a few hours, at most, but you paid them no attention. It was unnecessary since your reply had practically jumped out of your mouth, much to his amusement. Shikanoin Heizou had already won you over with that ever-affable smile and outgoing nature.

Once he actually started working, only high praises were sung about the young detective from the city. Files and files containing cold cases about missing children and stolen goods diminish at an extraordinary rate as Heizou scours through them all with a charming smile. You had no complaints either. Heizou treated you well; he was never curt with you, even if his words lingered on the edge of being condescending at times when he explained how obvious a criminal was being, he didn't throw all his workload onto your inexperienced hands, though he did insist you stay with him all throughout the night when he was working—not to do work, but to keep him company. You were a little confused about why he was staying when he had already solved his cases for the day, simply scribbling down into a book in between indecipherable looks thrown at you.

There were times you felt uneasy, like when the ghost of his touches felt more solid, and the usual brush against your back turned into a firm arm around your shoulder or a hand pressing into the small of your back, and his usual polite words turned more playful, more familiar than you'd have liked. Or when he insisted there was enough time for you to take a break and ushered you to a bustling restaurant, taking bites from your meal and offering you some of his, all while ignoring your questions about the cases he was supposed to be working on that day. Over time, you chalked it up to his personality, much like the times when he'd see you dressed up in a new outfit and point it out with a teasing grin ("Oh my, getting all dolled up for me?") or when he'd randomly make inferences about your relationships with others, by observing how long your conversation continued and listening to the tone of your voice, later confirming all his suspicions with you. It was a little off-putting, but perhaps all geniuses were eccentric in that way.

But there was no excusing the sight in front of you now.

Realization dawns upon you as any words you had turned to sludge at the back of your throat. You tried to find a reason, but as your eyes scanned the brutal scene it was clear to you that your fears had been confirmed. There was no other explanation for why Heizou was crouched over a still, unmoving body, or for the bruises littering his victim's skin. The ebbing glow of the vision at his side, the beads of sweat on his skin, and the final breeze that fluttered past...you didn't want to believe that he was capable of such sheer malice, but how could you deny the obvious?

"What brings you here?" a cold wave of fear envelopes you at his casual tone, accompanied by the impish smile that follows when he says your name, "Oh, was I missing for too long? Were you worried about me?"

"Detective, this is..."

"Now, how long have we known each other already? You can just call me Heizou," his eyes flit over to where yours are glued to, "Hm, this? Oh, it's such a pity, I know! But he was starting to get on my nerves a little, with all the cozying up he was trying to do with you."

It clicks after his words, why there was something familiar about the lifeless figure collapsed on the ground. Someone who had, just a few days ago, been trying to start a conversation with you while you were following Heizou around; but you remembered Heizou tugging you away while you were trying to think of a reply, with a callous reply in your stead, and you remember the startling fierceness gleaming in his eyes. You'd have never imagined that his anger went this far.

"So you killed him?"

Heizou blinks at you slowly, before chuckling as he stands up from his crouched position, "Well, what else was I to do? Hmm, something's telling me that you're about to go running...I wouldn't recommend that, partner."

Before you can even take a step, a strong gust of wind knocks you over onto your back. Heizou looms over you, a dark storm stirring in his previously bright eyes.

"You'll tell everyone that I killed someone, and drag them over to see the body. But nobody will believe that, will they? The Tenryou Commission's most prized detective coming to this little place to murder a random passerby? Come on, partner, I was hoping you learned a thing or two about a convincing case from me by now."

You gasp out, the shock from the impact yet to wear out, and Heizou laughs sharply at your helpless state.

"It's alright. There'll be plenty of time for you to learn after. I'll even tell you how I'll go about refuting your claims," Heizou leaned even closer to you, "Let's see, it would be terribly suspicious if there were someone messing with my files, you know? Only someone that works closely with me would be able to do that, and they'd know how much progress I was making here. It must have upset them, I'd say, they must have wanted to scare me off. Oh, and if I happened to find evidence of a murder weapon lying around...well, it would be a closed case, don't you think?"

You exhale sharply, feeling as though the world was closing in—or maybe, it was just Heizou's presence that was starting to feel heavy, "you wouldn't—"

Heizou smiles, but it's devoid of any previous warmth, "I could—isn't that all that matters? I've never asked for an assistant, I've never needed one—the Commission can tell you this—but you came and begged and pleaded with me, so I agreed to take you under my wing. You paid back my kindness by betraying me—really, how cruel. And when you've been named a murderer, there'll be no place to run either. You'll just have to sit nice and still in my house, hmm?"

It was just like him to have it all figured out. He had been stringing you along all this while, with his honey-coated lies and well-mannered facade, and you had followed him without a single doubt.

"I'm looking forward to many more days of being together, partner."

It was an hour before the Irodori festival in Inazuma.

Ayaka and Ayato invited you personally after your friendship with them had grown during the time spent after the vision decree hunt had been abolished.

You had been spending the whole day trying to figure out the perfect outfit not just for the Kamisato’s but also to try and impress your boyfriend, Heziou.

You had only been dating a few months now but it’s the least to say that he’s infuriatingly smug not to mention flirty.

You loved him dearly but you’d be lying if you said you didn’t want to wipe that smirk off his face, so you took it upon yourself to try that out this very night.

Sitting down at your vanity table, you pulled out a draw containing some makeup and started expertly applying it to your face, making sure to enhance all the features he’s mentioned he liked on your previous dates.

Taking a look at your reflection, you let out a satisfied hum before pulling out a tube of lipstick that you picked up in Port Ormos before applying the red pigment to your lips, giving them a satisfying pop.

Throwing on the rest of your outfit and grabbing your bag of mora, you head over to the door of your small home and right before you turn the knob-

“Knock knock, Y/N, your escort has arrived~”

You knew that voice better than your own.

The smooth tinge each word had along with an undeniable teasing undertone.

It was heizou.

Opening the door confirmed your thoughts. There stood your red-haired detective with his trademark smile as his eyes scanned over your outfit.

Letting out a whistle, Heziou placed his hand on his hip while flashing you a teasing wink.

“Man alive~ Is it my birthday or what? If I had known you’d been looking so dolled up I would of put in some extra effort to my appearance. Can’t have you showin’ me up now, can we?”

“Heziou? We were supposed to meet up at the festival, what are you doing here?”

“Oh come now~ I couldn’t leave my partner in crime to walk alone at night now, can I? Besides, it’s my job to keep everyone In Inazuma safe isn’t it?”

Rolling your eyes, you can’t help but smile at his teasing before your smile is quickly replaced by a mischievous grin as you grab his hand pulling him into the hallway.

“Actually, this is perfect! I need you to give me your opinion on something real quick!”

“Oh~? I’m not sure I like that spark in your eye there, doll.”

Closing the door, you took a deep breath to gather your courage before grabbing Heizou by his shirt, pulling his face dangerously close to yours.

“I got this new lipstick and I need to test it out real quick~”

Without letting him retaliate even for a second, you pressing your lips tightly against his before pulling away a few seconds later, relishing in the pretty shade of red growing on his cheeks.

“W-well I think I’ll have to take back my earlier statement, I think I like this very much~”

“Oh? Well you won’t mind if I do this then, Hm?”

Leaning your face in again before you press your lips against his jawline, drawing out a soft gasp from the red-head as you trail down to his neck leaving pretty trails of red lip prints against his soft, pale skin.

“Y-Y/N what are you- fuck~”

Before he could finish his sentence you took the opportunity to gentle grace your teeth against the skin of his neck, trailing further down to his collar bone enjoying the soft whimpers escaping his lips as you bite down a little harder.

Starting to get a little too into the moment Heizou, trying his best to regain his dignity, tried to reach his hand out to balance himself he accidentally knocked over a vase causing your concentration to get shattered along with the vase now laying on the ground.

“W-well… I, Ahem, you’re going to make us late, sweetheart~”

Flashing him a innocent grin as I wipe a smudge of lipstick off the corner of his lips with your thumb, you can’t help but continue to ride your confidence even further into dangerous waters as your really the lipstick to your lips.

“I don’t think they’ll mind too much~”

I wrote this while being mad at heizou for not coming home (totally didn’t use real money for extra pulls) so I apologise that’s it’s bad and if he’s very ooc. I wanted to make him a subby little bi-

basically just whether i think theyre the dom or sub! (entirely sfw)

gn!reader x anemo boys!

heizou

a dom but in possibly the worst - best way ever

he’s the type to brag to everyone that he is the dom but no one believes him, everyone thinks youre the dom but he gets his way every single time.

hes a bit stubborn so he takes things like this almost like a competition, he has to prove to you, and the world, that he is in fact a dom. it gets tiring at times but you laugh at it.

its an interesting dynamic, no one believes he’s the dom but as some would say “he has you wrapped around his fingers” and you honestly dont mind. hes sweet and compassionate when he needs to be, serious and stern when he needs to be as well.

although you are his special person; and trust me you are, sometimes he’ll do or say things that make you two seem like mere friends but you know he doesnt mean them that way. he looks out for you. he knows you dont need him to but hes happy to do it anyways.

at the end of the day, you know what type of partner you’re coming home to. he may be a bit overprotective and overbearing at times but thats what you love about him.

kazuha

soft dom. 100%.

kazuha’s the type of dom to let you go around telling people you’re the dom and people would believe it because of how soft spoken he is and how easy he is to give in to your request.

kazuha practically created the “princess treatment”. he would never disrespect you, never raise his voice at you, never even touch you unless you told him it was okay / you wanted him to. he respects you and your personal space as well as your personal opinions, ideals, morals, so on and so fourth.

kazuha does have a downside tho, he never knows how to necessarily bring up his own emotions or opinions. kazuha is a closed book, his book hasnt been opened for years its practically full of dust. you try your best to mkae him open up and he does! you know him better than anyone else but even then he still keeps his secrets.

kazuha is absolutely terrified or harming you in any way shape or form. he goes out of his way to protect you from stuff you couldnt even possibly think of. you have his full attention and admiration, though you wish he’d pay attention to you when you’d tell him he needs to focus on himself and what he wants.

he typically says “dont worry about my feelings.” or “this isnt about my feelings.” on the rare occasions you two do have disagreements.

scaramouche

100% a sub. a bratty sub.

hes the type of sub to be such a brat at times you genuinely just want to throw them in the lake and leave them there. you don’t obviously but he gets on your nerves lol.

if people asked who wore the pants he’d say it was a mix of the two of you, though you know its all bs.

scara is like a little kid having a temper tantrum because he couldnt get ice cream for dinner. if he doesnt get his way hes pouty and moody until you somehow “make it up to him” with basically anything

hes moody and a lot of times has mood swings every five seconds, he really is like a kid. he’s fussy and whiny but you know at the end of the day you love him and he loves you, you two would never want your dynamic to be shared with someone else nor lose this dynamic.

venti

venti is a bit of a wild card! he’s definitely a switch

i feel like venti is confident in certain aspects of the relationship and with other aspects he just lets you take control if youre more confident.

i feel like a relationship with venti would for sure be 50/50, probably the most balanced relationship but a bit of a hectic and chaotic one to be sure.

venti wouldnt necessarily know how to answer someone if they asked who wears the pants, hed probably say you just to throw them for a loop but you both know youre equals in this relationship.

xiao

definitely a sub but behind closed doors.

he pretends to be hard on the outside but really all he wants is to be the little spoon and be pampered with love and affection!

he secretly loves when you take the initiative; whether it be planning dates, holding hands out in public, showing PDA, ect.

he’s definitely the type to have acted like a “badass” or a “bully” in highschool but in reality he just wanted a hug and for someone to tell him theyre proud of him.

he has absolutely no mercy for anyone who even attempts to hurt you, however. youre the only one who has and is able to see his soft side.

he shows you off to his friends and worships the ground you walk on, it doesnt bother you one bit that he pretends to wear the pants in the relationship to his friends and fellow acquaintances.
