You are not lying to yourself by being an endogenic system. You know yourself better than anyone else, especially randos on the internet who act like accusing others of lying and cross-posting negativity into the spaces of people just trying to live their lives somehow counts as activism. Do not give their hate merit in your heart. I am proud of you for trusting yourself and doing your best to be yourself; keep on going with that trend.

[ID: two similar pieces of art. Both show Emmengard's Plural Rings, which are four circles that overlap the way a Venn diagram would, with separate colors in each circle (blue, reddish pink, green, and yellow) that become more merged in each overlapping section as they get closer to the center. All the colors have a tiny star pattern on top of them, making them look somewhat like the night sky. The first image has a white outline, and the second has a black outline. / End ID]
Made some art of Emmengard's Plural Rings! Both are transparent; the first has a white outline and the second has a black one. We don't mind if you use these for whatever (icons, edits, etc), but please give us credit if you do so!

Tbh, the best way we can describe ourselves isn't as "people" or as "parts." Generally, we'll refer to ourselves as people, because it'd feel dehumanizing if we didn't in some manner, but if you were to try to describe us, it wouldn't be a perfect fit. We're more like... Interconnected individuals. That's how we always describe ourselves in our head. Too separate to be just parts of a whole, too dependant on each other to be able to be completely estranged from the rest of the system. Like branches of a tree – you still see each branch as its own object, but know that a single branch would not be able to support the tree on its own.

Random system member: but what if I'm not actually a system?
Everyone else: you're literally not even in control of the body right now –

Hey there, Holiday! c:
I was wondering if you would be willing to make divider versions of your Emmengard's Plural Rings? Like just a plain white and black line for dividing post sections? No pressure if you don't want to though! (I could attempt it myself but I feel like my PS skills leave something to be desired. XD I have a version on my pinned post now but your design is so pretty!!)
Sure thing! I think this is what you're looking for; we made several different designs, so we're gonna split them up into pairs based on what each design is and then give image descriptions for each pair. Hope this satisfies you!

General question for systems/ex-systems who have gone through fusion before (whether final fusion or only between a few headmates) – what was it like? How did it feel to merge together and were there any adverse effects? If it was intentional, how did you go about doing it? Some of our members are considering fusing, so any experiences or advice you'd like to share would be helpful for their decision making.

⌚: Hello, we& would like to request a disclaimer banner from you (if possible, of course!) where it states: "This post is based on exomemories of a fictive in our system; it is polite and common courtesy to treat these memories as real, since to them, they are absolutely real, please do not treat our fictives like rp characters, they are not just simply a character to play around with, they are a living, breathing person, you may just see it on TV, play it in a game, or read it in a book, but for that individual, it all happened, and was all very real; please do not reblog this post as headcanons, kin or D/A."
That might be too long to put on a single banner. Do you mind if we shorten it down to "This post is based on a fictive's exomemories; do not tag this post as headcanons, kin, or D/A."? We could make additional ones to go along with it that have other messages such as, "This post is not about roleplay, don't treat it as such." if that would work for you.

4, 9, 11, and 13? :D
4. Are there any activities your system members like to do together? Collective hobbies? Talk about those!
We like to watch videos together! Usually they're YouTube videos, but sometimes they're movies instead. It was one of the first things we did together after discovering our system.
9. How long have you been a system and/or known of your system?
We've been a system since we were very young, but in terms of terminology, we didn't know until a bit over a year ago. It took some self realization from Jay and some others in our system for us to go, "hey, wait a second, this isn't normal" and start questioning things (which is, incidentally, the same way we discovered a tomato allergy). It took some time before the more fearful of us were able to accept it, though.
11. What does switching feel like to you, if you switch at all?
When someone switches in our system, there's two ways they can do it: front switching, and what we call alignment switching.
Front switching is your standard switching, wherein someone starts/stops being in control of the body. It's a bit like waking up in the middle of daydreaming, especially if you've switched without realizing it. It also feels "warmer" than being co-con, though we can't really communicate this well to outsiders. When we're co-con, we're disconnected from the body, so there's often a level of dissociation we can best describe as "cold" – when we switch in, however, we feel "warm." It's sort of like if you were standing in the cold hallway of a spaceship and then found yourself teleported to a warm command station.
Alignment switching is what happens when multiple of us are fronting and one of us gets more control over the body. The others are still fronting too, but the one who has [alignment] switched in has more influence over our outward personality. This is closer to a snapping feeling, or like if we were all in a group and then one of us stepped in front of the others, taking the lead.
13. What’s your favourite part of being a system?
Being a system really helps us deal with our anxiety and depression! Whenever one of us is feeling bad, we help them through the issue and can advocate for the best decisions of self-care. Sometimes you just need a second opinion, you know? But we don't have many people we can outwardly ask, so we ask each other instead. We've also found ourselves doing better in social situations and battling intrusive thoughts since we started tackling these things as a team. Essentially, being a system is great for our mental health!
Thank you so much for the ask! I hope we explained everything well.
