Getting very tempted to make a list of pro-palestine blogs that think it's totally not horrifically disrespectful to post gore of the attack on Palestine. They legitimately do not care that it strips a person of their identity in life(often because they are unrecognizable), it indignifies them by using their corpse as shock value and it violates even basic respect of the dead to post their body without consent of the family or the individual. I may be only an arm chair psychologist and trying to learn how to properly handle grief but I'm sure your really fucking helping(/sar) the family when you post their loved ones corpse for all the Internet to fucking see and comment on.
Like imagen losing your kid in a horrific bombing and some white liberal half way across the world posts their dead body for everyone to see without remotely asking her family and they just say "omg my heart is with Palestine 😢 this poor little girl got her head torn off. I cry every night due to this massacre." And you just have to sit there and watch the comments fill with white tears and a few fuckers saying your daughter deserved it.
NGL I'd probably go fucking scorched earth if that happened to me and these fucking blogs do it daily then get mad at you when you point out:
it's disrespectful,
(" the world needs to see this mutilated corpse to understand how bad it is!!" they say as if the death toll isn't right fucking there and these bodies don't have a right to dignity in death. Palestinians are not only corpses in the minds of the fucking iof but also apparent you. They are people and that applies to their fucking corpses. No one wants to be known and remembered by a picture taken of them when they died in a violent, torturous and degrading death. Imagine if that was you, or your sibling or your mom or grandparent or uncle or shit, even your dog. You'd be pissed and upset and dehumanized. Palestinians already have their grief forced into the spotlight by this genocide, do not make them share these horrible moments with the world.)
it doesn't do shit for the movement,
(" it shows the Zionists and their sympathizers what their beliefs result in!" They say as if the Zionists don't want this and care. News flash they don't and the only people seeing this is your allies who are telling you it's disrespectful. Zionists do not care about the dead and the state of their bodies. They do not care about this massacre. They are racist fucks who want this. You arnt changing minds.)
Don't tag it,
("if I tag it people won't look at it! Don't look away!" Have you considered gore posting is exclusively used to shock people and some people don't need shocked. Not wanting to see a fucking corpse on Tumblr isn't "looking away from the conflict.". Looking away from the conflict is ignoring it, not talking about it, not sharing info. I don't need to see the dead body of a trans person to know trans people are dieing.)
It violates so many tos it isn't even funny.
(" Tumblr is silencing us! Why are you siding with Tumblr???" Though Tumblr is probably trying to censor this movement like most other places, your not getting reported or struck down because your posting about Palestine. It's because your posting litteral fucking gore. If this was allowed, idk how to tell you Tumblr would become a hellscape full of the most depraved shit. You do not get a special birthday boy pass to post gore because it's for a good cause. It's still fucking gore, it's fundamentally disrespectful and it's against tos for that reason. It's a good reason and if I have to play by tumblrs rules to get your disrespectful shit taken down, so be it.)
I'm not very strong opinioned about how people talk about certain social issues. There's a right way and a wrong way and some ways that ride the line. Gore posting is the wrong way, cut and dry. It invalidates your message and shows a lack of decorum for the dead. It's the basic principles.
Now I'm gonna talk directly to the people who posted gore from Palestine or any other horrific conflict world wide whose still not happy that I'm criticizing you. I'm gonna be nice here and I mean that:
I know it hurts. I know it's scary. I know thinking about it makes you angry and pisses you off and depresses you and makes you cry and have nightmares. I know that hurt and fear and anger at knowing something horrible is happening and there isn't much you can do about it. Posting dead bodies won't bring them back to life. Posting child corpses won't help your message get across. I know you desensitized to the violence but that's not the issue of your peers who tell you it's fucked up your posting dead bodies from a genocide. It's yours and it shows your basic respect is lost to your fear and you need to take a breather for a day and step off.
Everyone is exhausted. Everyone is scared and angry. You won't help us by upsetting other members of our movement with unnessesary and fundamentally disrespectful images of corpses. We know how bad it is, pictures just make people vomit and resent you. They don't change minds, they don't "show the reality" they don't even respect the living family of the dead. They do nothing. They are pointless. I know your tired of being gaslit and told this isn't happening and maybe you think those pictures prove it. They don't. The people who still think this isn't real and as bad as it is are going to look at that corpse and call it a lie, a prop. And now you've not only disrespected their body by posting it publicly for any ol creep and loved one of the dead to see, you've now made them a spectacle. A thing for them to point and laugh at and pick out "details that clearly show it's fake".
It helps nothing. It doesn't prove anything to those who don't believe it and it dosent show the truth of this genocide. All it shows is a dead person at the time their life was ended in a horrible and painful way and you have to sit with their body and the fact you've lost yourself so much in this you arnt shocked or surprised and that's concerning. You have to live with the fact people are going to spread their body far and wide across the Internet for any shock posters and necrophiles to disrespect. You put their body in that position when you could of stopped it, reported it and let them be known by a smiling picture in life of their family cropped from pictures the family holds dear. Now they are known as someone's favorite picture for numerous horrible and disrespectful reasons and you put them there. That's pretty shitty of you. Maybe get some therapy. Some help. Take a week break and take care of yourself.
And next time, when a mutual of yours thinks gore helps the movement, remind them the Internet is forever and although it's important we never forget this tragedy and we do everything we possibly can to stop it, this won't help anyone. Gore never does. Self harm for a righteous good never does. The same way you can't be held responsible for the things you think aka thought crime, the same you can't do good by thinking violent thoughts about iof soldiers or praying for Palestine. Hurting yourself won't help the movement and gore just hurts your friends. Think long and hard before you post that child's body and know to thousands, that's the only way they will ever see or know her, by her dead body. She deserves better. Her family deserves better. You know better. Do better.

Modern day wokeness upholds male centered white supremacy: a vent by me.
Malcom X was right, white liberals are a problem. This isn’t to say that conservatism is the right way either. I think both political sides are two cheeks on the same ass that produce the shitloads of bullshit we deal with today.
Take the whole Jeffrey vs Shumiran fiasco, in which “progressives” valued a white male over a woman of colour who was voicing valid concerns she had, as a mother, regarding a man who wants to “speak to the kids” about gender ideology.
Every-time someone uses one of her filters that go to charities, these woke TRAs act like it makes us a bad person because Shumirun made them, but here’s the thing, she’s using her creator fund and filters she’s made to give to charity to assist those in Palestine, Syria, the Congo, etc. facing a g3n0c!d3 (censored to avoid getting banned for keywords).
Wtf are these TRAs doing for humanity other than harassing women and showing off their p0rn addictions? 🤨
And honestly, even as a bi woman, I’m sick and tired of primarily privileged middle class wh !te people in the lgbt community justifying the horrible things being done in Islamic nations just because some of these people may not agree with the whole woke agenda. (Like Noah Schnapp who’s justifying Z!onism) These people are facing horrors incomprehensible to middle class westerners. Innocent men, women and children are being wholesale slaught3r3d. A literal GENOCIDE is happening as we speak and these spoiled brat Woketards can’t pull their head out of their own asses to care about people who don’t brownnose the lgbt community because they quite literally have more important things to do such as surviving the next missile launched towards them by Israel or the USA. ITS A HEIRARCHY OF NEEDS! No one gives a shit if you’re a polyamorous, non-binary, AMAB, therian Demi girl when their child has been turned to hamburger meat by a weapon of mass destruction.
Instead of whining about how oppressed they are, these wh!te TRAs should recognise how lucky and privileged they are to be living the lives they do. They should count their blessings because not everyone is so lucky to where the slightest thing they’ve got to worry about is being misgendered.
I genuinely do not care if some of these people in countries that are being g3n0c!d3d don’t agree with my views. They’re human beings and they deserve love, rights, safety and all of the things we get to enjoy here in the UK or America. 🤷🏻‍♀️it’s only fair.

I sure hope we don’t let joe fucking biden get away with changing his mind on whats going on. That mother fucker supports genocide only until he realizes it makes him look bad. Sure hes calling for a cease fire NOW but its way too fucking late for that when he used an executive order to fund the genocide. His name better go down in history as genocide joe and thats a mark on his name he doesn’t deserve to have washed away.

That’s a lot of words, you could have kept it succinct by just saying that you hate muslims.
Idk how many fucking times we have to tell you that the “FTRTTS” is about THE LAND OF PALESTINE!!!
No, the “evil muslims” aren’t planning on slaughtering everyone who currently lives in Israel, that’s the Israeli armies M.O.
And don’t even act like Christians are taking up arms against Israel. most Christians love the existence of Israel for 2 reasons, 1. It provides an easy way to get rid of their Jewish populations by encouraging them to leave their countires, and 2. Evangelicals want the Jews in Israel so when the ends of times come, every jew will die so they can be reunited w Jesus in heaven (or whatever the fuck).
Not to mention how many IDF soldiers and Israeli citizens are posting on social media about how they can’t wait to raze Gaza to the fucking ground.
Companies are planning on siezing that land and are auctioning it off to Israeli’s and other foreign zionists literally right fucking now.
Literally how can you argue that the current goal of the IDF is to do anything but either kill everyone in Gaza or force them out of the land using terrorism????
Signed,
An exhausted antizionist Jew

My union is on strike, and some people wanted to go ruffle some feathers and chant at a place where there was a violent altercation with the cops a few days ago. I was totally on board... until I got there, and they started chanting FtRttS in Arabic, and suddenly they're yelling that half my people should vanish from our ancestral homeland despite that having nothing to do with our union organizing. I know leftists are antisemitic, and I honestly mostly just ignore it because I believe in labor unions. But it's hard to ignore it when they misrepresent their intentions. And they're so sure they're just advocating for the end of a genocide and if you even question how it helps our labor movement to center on a geopolitical conflict halfway around the world at a union protest, you're a Bad Jew.
I wish I weren't lying to them about how "good" of a Jew I am, because I actually believe in shared Israeli and Palestinian sovereignty, whatever that ends up looking like.
I wish people recognized that activism isn't organizing. Being angry is easy, getting higher wages is hard.
I wish I could just be myself.

This is gonna be long, so if you don't have the time to read it, it's cool, I'll summarise it like this:
I think I'm back. Kinda. Expect some blasts of Hol Horse fanart that I missed sharing here since November 2023 (if you followed my Twitter/X, you might have seen them)
Okay, I know excuses can be bad but here's mine to kinda justify my absence.
I admit that I had been feeling depressed with what's happening in P@lest1ne for the past 6 months, because I had never seen it happening in real time, in videos and interviews. 20+ years ago, anything about them came in the form of stories from actual P@lest1nians whom I had the privilege to meet during my volunteer work in school, and newspaper articles from local publishers. Our local broadcasters still chant FTRTTS whenever they talk about them. But the real-time atrocities and the aftermath really got me hard. I'm not one to shy away from real-life gore - true crime is my go-to documentary whenever I'm relaxing - but what's happening there - the injustice, the brutality, the depravity - can be too much for me to bear.
I'm not saying I'm used to it by now...I still hear my heart break with every dead and hungry child I see on my screen, but at the same time, I feel a bit more hopeful. Mainly because I believe in the P@lest1nians' faith and resilience, and I believe in mine.
Apart from world events, on a personal level, my company moved to a new building in December, about an extra 30 minutes drive away from my home, so I was almost on a blackout from online stuff back then. Didn't even touch the 1 Day 1 Hol Horse challenge (but thankfully they are done now...will share them later). The move-out was done around the end of January 2024, and then I got busy again with work in February. Work had been very hectic because everything had been disorganised since the move. Even now, we don't really have internet in the new building and had to use our phone data for that.
Wanted to get back last month, but delayed it until today because my cat was sick with cancer. My cat, little Vee, whom I had for 12 years, just passed 2 days ago, 1 day before my birthday ;-;
Anyway, all that said, I think I'm ready to be back now on tumblr. I know I missed a lot of drawings that I kinda promised myself to finish (like the Halloween Hol), and also posting the 1 Day 1 Hol Horse doodles. I missed other people's Hol Horse and HolPol fanart as well. I also have a few thoughts I wanted to share of our favourite JoJo cowboy too...
So in the next few hours, I'll be doing just that. I apologise for the massive spam that's about to come beforehand. Just note that if you cannot wait for the fanart blast, you're welcomed to dig for them on my Twitter/X.
On current notes, I'm in the middle of doing The Emperor Month Challenge. Basically, Hol Horse with the other Part 3 characters. I missed 2 days now, but I'll be catching up. This will be on until the end of this month.
For now, I won't be doing requests/art trades because I wanna start drawing for my JoJo OCs. I have been neglecting them for months.
Hopefully the depression will simmer down. The world is a mess, and I'm trying to soldier on.
Oh, and to my Muslim followers, Happy Eid-ul-Fitr. ♥

Okay, let's talk about Germany
because seriously, wtf is happening to my country?
So, a few weeks ago Germany outlawed Hamas and Samidoun. And with that, our interior minister Nancy Faeser also explicitly outlawed the phrase "From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free", with the reasoning that it's linked to Hamas / implies genocide against Jewish Israelis. You can now be fined or go to jail for using this phrase.
I was at a demonstration a few weeks ago that was an absolute nightmare. So, usually at the beginning, the rules for the demonstration (what is or isn't allowed to do/say) get layed out. At pro-Palestine demonstrations, there's always A LOT of police and they sometimes check protest signs in advance, too.
At this demonstation (which was organised by several Jewish organisations btw), one of the things we were chanting was "Stop the Genocide" - also a lot of other chants involving the word genocide in some way. At first, this was allowed. Then, halfway through the demonstration, the police suddenly decided that using the word "genocide" is forbidden now. Halfway through, after they were okay with it at first!
Then they arrested a Jewish Israeli woman (who they'd already wrongfully arrested once before) because her protest sign said "Stop the genocide in Gaza". Then they also arrested another person because their sign said "From the River to the Sea, we demand equality". THAT LITERALLY ISN'T EVEN THE PHRASE YOU BANNED! If you're going to ban FtRttS because it "could imply genocide against Jewish Israelis", then this changed version which makes explicitly clear what's actually meant should be fine! But nah, doesn't make a difference to them. If it starts with "From the River", you're gonna get arrested.
What shocks me the most is the arbitariness of it all. How can you just randomly decide in the middle of a demonstration, that something that was fine at first is now forbidden and then arrest people for it? I've been to demonstrations later where the word "genocide" was used again and it was fine. They literally just made up random reasons to arrest people. There's no logic behind any of it.
I've heard from other demonstrations in Germany that they apparently also arrested people for signs like "From the River we do see, nothing like equality" and "Bombing children is not self-defense" (what?). Also apparently they arrested one person for drawing the famous raised fist icon onto their poster because it "implies violence".
I don't want to live in this country anymore. What is going on? When has Germany become... this? I mean, I never thought we were super great, but I didn't think we were this.
And before anyone says that it's overcompensation for Holocaust guilt: That might play into it, but I don't think it's the real or only reason. Because the thing is, Germany didn't use to be like this. Israel-Palestine isn't exactly a new conflict and I remember that when I was younger, people from both sides were allowed to talk in talkshows etc. There's a clip on Youtube of a talkshow from 14 years ago where a CDU(!!! - big conservative/center-right party) politician talks about his trip to Palestine and the humiliations the Palestinians suffer every day and how no people would just let themselves be treated like this - nowadays you'll only hear something like this from the very left of the political spectrum and never on TV because anyone who speaks up for Palestine won't even get invited to the talkshow.
So like... what happened? Germany didn't USE to be like this. Why is EVERY party, even the Greens, suddenly talking like a copy of the AfD (extreme right-wing party, basically Nazis) and trying to paint Mulims as evil? And why are we at a point where anyone who speaks up for Palestine gets arrested and charged with "antisemitism" while actual Nazis are allowed to protest and get protected? We Germans are always so quick to call out other countries for lack of freedom of speech, so what is... THIS? WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?

Idk who needs to hear this, but you can’t be a terf if you hold racist views or support the genocidal state of Isreal.
Being against the trans ideology doesn’t make you a terf, you have to hold radically feminist views to be a terf and it isn’t radically feminist at all to support genocide or hold racist views.
Women’s rights mean rights for ALL WOMEN, not just white women or women who agree with your beliefs. Stop calling yourself a terf unless you fight for the rights of all women.
Palestinian women deserve love, safety, and freedom from the horrors they’re facing right now.

Idk if you're still interested in knowing about this stuff, but drawfee tweeted about the pcrf stream today
Yes! I have seen this. I’m really glad they mentioned they won’t tolerate antisemitism.
It seems like they’ll be allowing the spamming of FtRttS, flags, and watermelon emojis. But if they actually manage to encourage the participants to to not just demand a ceasefire but to ask them to call on their representatives to demand a negotiated ceasefire in which both sides actually cease to fire, then I’m happy enough.
I have said repeatedly that I don’t think the folks at Drawfee are bad people. I think that there is some unexamined antisemitism that is not unique to any member of Drawfee and is common in basically anyone who has not actively engaged in antiracist work about antisemitism specifically.
I trust that they want to do good.
I think in general this statement is really good because it addresses a lot of the main concerns that people brought up online about how silence encourages antisemitism.
But I also think that it will leave some Jews feeling alienated for understandable reasons. I’m not going to detail those reasons here in this post or in any post I tag with “Drawfee,” because I’m not in the habit of trying to hurt people who are trying to improve themselves and grow.
As for me personally? Idk. This statement really helped a lot. I love the gang. I have all three of Julia’s drawtectives posters on my wall. I have the Trans Rigs keychain and pride rights shirt. I have the post cards framed in various places around my home. I even have the book!
It actually made me ill to look at them before this statement—not because they owe me anything. I want to emphatically state that none of them owe me anything. But I won’t pretend it didn’t have an affect on me when I saw them engaging with blatant propaganda sources—knowingly or not. Speaking for myself and only myself: I just couldn’t emotionally handle that I had spent so much time supporting creators who might actively hate me. But now I’m back to being happy to see the Drawfee merch around me home. It reminds me of the enjoyment their content brought me.
NGL, though. I’m still pretty wounded by how nasty things got for no reason, so idk if (again, just speaking for myself here and not encouraging anyone to follow my lead in any way) I will be able to engage with the content anymore.
I want to! But I also think they probably do NOT want me to. I’m just one fan and I think my interactions, however well intentioned, caused them stress and anxiety.
I feel wounded that they interpreted my actions in a manipulative way despite my repeated attempts to make clear they were in good faith. They likely feel wounded because I (unintentionally) inspired controversy in response to what they felt was an unambiguously good deed.
Of course, they might not know or care about me specifically at all, which is fine! Who knows‽ Only they can.
Either way, whether they are indifferent to me or angry with me or annoyed at me or whatever, I feel a lot of complex ways about everything that happened during this particularly stressful time.
So, idk. I’d love to enjoy their content again. And depending on how well they curb antisemitism in the stream (which is dependent on whether or not the mods educate themselves enough on what antisemitism even looks like, which seems to be one of the main issues at play in modern discourse), I might feel safe enough to watch their content again.
It’s hard to imagine feeling that same kind of comfort that I used to though, given everything. But that’s ok. That is a personal boundary for me based on my own needs. It’s an unpleasant feeling, but it doesn’t make them bad people or me a bad person. Everyone is gonna have their own boundaries and limitations about topics this sensitive.
Thanks for the message @theres-so-many.
