We've got Zoe!
(Actually, I finished her rough sketches ages ago, oops)
So in my rewrite, Zoe doesn't change that much. However, her entry is completely different.
Zoe is introduced way before she gets her miraculous. She's introduced in Style Queen. The episode Style Queen is actually when everyone in Chloe's family but Chloe gets akumatized (Audrey for the same reason, Zoe because Chloe wanted to send her home, Andre because he wasn't able to send Zoe home). It's also the start of Chloe's redemption. Zoe later decides she going to stay in Paris.
Zoe gets the miraculous when Chloe isn't able to stay in Paris for a bit (I'm thinking maybe Chloe gets possibly her only chance to go to New York with her mom). Zoe overhears Chloe talking to Pollen, and quickly puts the pieces together, and says that she'll use the miraculous in Chloe's abscense. After that, they alternate turns with the miraculous, and Ladybug doesn't find out for a while.
My sister gave Zoe a 7/10. She told me to change about Zoe's outfit was to trade the dark leather jacket for a denim jacket, and to make her pants high waisted, and get rid of the beanie for a french hat (because they're in Paris). I bent the rules, and made her hat a french hat that looked a lot like a beanie. I got lazy with her shoes, so pretend they have all the drawings they have in the show. I suck at drawing feet, so I kept the shoes simple, with just the "I love you" message on them.
Vesperia (I think I need a better name, maybe Bumble Bee) got a full redo, with the only thing staying the same being the hair. Her cannon costume is pretty bad, and seeing as this Zoe is a bit younger than Chloe (Chloe turning 15, while Zoe just turned 13), I needed to keep her young. Gone are the heels and the weird stripes! She now looks less like a wasp, and more like a bee! I also changed her mask to make it easier to draw. And I gave her wings.
Bee - Haircomb
Powers:
Venom (paralyzation)
Weapon:
Spinning top
Animal Abilities:
Flight
Can control other bees (not in the way it was done in queen wasp)
Improved dancing
Her miraculous' camouflage form is the same as cannon. I think it's cute, and she isn't a permanent hero like her sister, so it doesn't need to be super different. It's also technically partially under her hat.

Lila gets exposed because she doesn't know what the Kwamis.
Kwami?
Once Pollen knew Chloé could not longer be Queen Bee, she asked that she give her a kwagatama, to remind Chloe that she can still be a hero even without powers.
Chloé treasures this charm very much and even hires Marinette to make it into a haircomb.
Seeing Chloé cherish this momento, Lila decides to brag that Ladybug has given her tons of such charms. It helps that she knows Ladybug personally.
Chloé retorts that Ladybug didn’t give her this, Pollen did.
Lila: you made this charm out of bee pollen...? I know you like bees now, but isn’t that a bit much?
Chloé: oh my kwami, don’t you know who Pollen is?
Did Ladybugs eat pollen? Lila didn’t know. So she changed topics, “kwami? I’ve never heard of that word before. Is it a French term?”
Alya and Nino exchanged looks. They knew what kwamis were. But if Lila didn’t...and to claim she received kwagatamas when you needed to actually wield a miraculous for the kwamis to collect your hair....
Alya: Lila, you’re not actually best friends with Ladybug, are you?
Lila: what? Of course I am.
Alya: sorry to say this, but while Ladybug is a genius with lucky charms, she isn’t much of a designer, at least not up to Marinette’s level.
Marinette did not know how to feel about that statement.
Tumblr media
Alya: take it from a girl who was given cardboard boxes as a costume, Ladybug cannot design.
Lila: she can’t design costumes, but she can make good jewellery.
Chloé: I repeat myself to your dense head, Ladybug did not give me this. And there’s no way you’re Ladybug’s best friend if you don’t know what a kwami is. All heroes do.
Alya: it’s true. I’ve heard them.
Lila: well, she only says kwami when she’s in hero mode. So no one can identify her. That’s why I’ve never heard about kwamis. I’ve only hung out with Ladybug in her civilian form.
Chloé: please, if you really knew Ladybug, you would know about kwamis, whether she was in costume or otherwise.
The class was swinging back and forth.
Alya: I’m afraid I’m with Chloé on this one.
Nino: me too.
Monkey see, monkey do.
Kim: I’m with Chloé.
Lila: how could you believe her instead of me?
Nino: Chloé may be a bully but she doesn’t lie. She likes to hurt us with blunt speech.
Alya: besides, while both of you like to brag, Chloé has actual proof. But you...come to think of it, do you have any proof you are friends with celebrities?
Lila: I told you I was in Achu!
Rose: there were no pictures of him with you though.
Lila: I have them!
Class: show them to us then.
Lila: I don’t have it with me now. I’ll bring them to you tomorrow.
Marinette: you mean photoshop them and print it out?
Alya: good point. If you’re really friends with any celebrity, videocall them.
Lila: but the time difference!
Marinette: Jagged is in Paris now.
Lila: I don’t have his number. I was only given a song as thanks.
Chloé: ah yes, the song no one has heard of but you.
Lila: well it would look bad if he wrote songs for a minor.
Sabrina: then why tell us he did that for you?
Lila: I...I...
Adrien muttered, “Caught in your own web of lies.”
Lila heard that and ran crying from the room.
Marinette sighed. “Great. Now I have to comfort her before an akuma comes. Alya, come with me?”
Alya: sure.
But while Marinette went ahead, Alya decided to livestream from the shadows.
Marinette found Lila soon enough.
Marinette: Lila?
Lila: go away! I bet you’re happy they found out about me, didn’t they.
Marinette: you did this to yourself.
Lila: oh shut up! How was I supposed to know about kwames?
Marinette: kwami
Lila: whatever! After all the holes in my lies, that’s what unravelled my stories? A thing no one has ever seen? Well, no one except that pesky bug and her menagerie.
Marinette: Lila, come back to class. If you apologize and stop lying, the class will forgive you. Ok, Chloé will definitely bring it up to make things hard for you, but she does that to everyone.
Lila: forget it, i am out of this hole.
Marinette: how? No one will believe you are on charity trips anymore.
Lila: you’re such an idiot. How do you think I got my mother to let me stay at home. I’ve fooled her into thinking Dupont was under an akuma plague. A few tears this time around, and she’ll send me to some boarding school outside Paris.
Marinette: and the whole cycle will start again. You lie and get exposed.
Lila: oh please. They deserve to be manipulated if they are that gullible.
Marinette: aren’t you afraid that celebrities will sue you?
Lila: please, celebrities are used to gossip. Even that dummy Ladybug didn’t bother to clear things up with Alya.
Marinette paused guiltily. That was true.
Lila: now shut up and leave me alone!
Marinette: i can’t risk you luring an akuma.
Lila: so what if it did? Who cares? I am not going to suppress my emotions!
While Alya was broadcasting this, upset herself for not checking her facts with Ladybug (what a fool she must seem to her hero), a Ladybug fanatic was very upset and it was she Hawkmoth akumatized into Pest Control.
She was going to kill Lila, and spray the heroes with some sleepy gas.
Ladybug and Chat defeated her but also wanted to confront Lila, but she had already run away.
Alya apologizes for assuming Lila was Ladybug’s best friend. Ladybug also apologizes for not correcting her. Chat suggests it would have been better for Lila to expose herself than have Ladybug do it.
Alya: within a time limit, yeah. But the truth should be set free asap.
Lila is now an outcast in Paris. And yes, news has reached the embassy until it reached Mrs Rossi herself.
Lila is sent to a correctional facility in Paris, specially adjusted with akuma-walls so the butterflies can’t corrupt their troubled inhabitants.
Lila is now infamous and trapped.
Marinette throws Chloé another party over this.

TOP 12 PORTRAYALS OF RAPUNZEL

Rapunzel, Rapunzel: lay down your hair so i can climb the golden stair!
These are the words to call the lady named after a vegetable, so one can climb her hair and visit the tower where she is kept prisoner. At the same time that she is known for her exotic name and very long hair, personality wise Rapunzel tends to get very underestimated. Some adaptations gaved her a pretty passive role, and pop culture parodies would usually paint her as “just a girl who cries for the Prince to save her”, downplaying the inteligence and resilience to adapt into harsh situations that she showed in the original Brothers Grimm’s tale. So today, i will share my twelve favorite portrayals of the long haired heroine, that showed respect to her, gaved her carisma and made justice to her strenghts.
12º The version from ‘The Story of Rapunzel’ (1951)
At the start of his career as a stop motion animator, Ray Harryhausen made, with the collaboration of his relatives, a series of shorts based on fairy tales. Those shorts were ‘The Mother Goose Stories’, ‘The Tortoise and The Hare’, ‘The Story of Rapunzel’, ‘The Story of Hansel and Gretel’, ‘The Story of Little Red Riding Hood’ and ‘The Story of King Midas’ (when this tale started to be taken out of greek mythology and be perceived as a medieval fairy tale in the public conscience), where the characters were silent and the voice was given to a narrator. This encarnation of Rapunzel is more on the naive and passive spectrum, but i like her design and the fact she is animated in stop motion, plus the short is historically significant for being one of the early atempts to adapt her tale , and that’s why she has a place on this ranking.
11º The version from Simsala Grimm (1999)
In this german-french, two plushies, Yoyo and Doc Croc, receive life from a magic book to have adventures inside the Brother’s Grimm tales. They go to the tale of Rapunzel and help her and Prince Egmond get together. This encarnation of Rapunzel is kept as both prisoner and apprentice of Frau Gothel, who wants to turn the young woman into a mean spirited sorceress like her. But Rapunzel can only make spells that create pretty and merry things, like squirrels and birds. It’s a nice touch of humour, and that grants her the Eleventh Place at this ranking.
10º Mackenzie Mauzy in Disney’s Into the Woods (2014)
This movie as a whole is a weak adaptation of the now classic Broadway stage musical. But it had some enjoyable elements, one of them being Mackenzie Mauzy’s performance as Rapunzel. Mauzy has a short time on screen, but in that short time she brings beauty, grace, melancholy and anger to the role, and this makes it stand out enough to be the Tenth Place in this ranking.
09º Linda Purl in Timeless Tales from Hallmark (1990-91)
Timeless Tales from Hallmark was a direct to video series that had a live action hosted by Olivia Newton John and animated segments showing the fairy tale of the day, animated by the Hannah-Barbera studio. Purl’s Rapunzel is the romantic dreamer archetype, who sings her wish to be free. She has two encounters with the Prince before getting caught by the Witch Scarlotta, having her hair cutted and exiled to the distant woods. She reunites with the Prince, who has been turned into a blue bird (i see what you did there, screenwriters), and breaks the spell over him with her tears. She should smell more onions to cry and bottle those tears, that can be very usefull.
08º Tisha Campbell in Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child (1995)
In the bayous of Louisiana, Rapunzel is taken from her parents by Zenobia the Hoodoo Diva (played by Whoopi Goldberg, by the way), who seeks to make her a protege and shows her such neat tricks as voodoo dolls and shrinking her head down. Rapunzel is reluctant to do this when she sees Zenobia is hurting innocent creatures. Rapunzel soon attracts a handsome Creole prince, who must rescue Rapunzel and reunite her with her parents, but Zenobia seeks to thwart the interloper. One of the first african-american portrayals, this kind yet rebellious encarnation is a refreshing take on the character, and that is why she takes the Eight Place here.
07º Mandy Moore in Disney’s Tangled (2010)
After her mother dranked a tea made of a magical flower, Rapunzel was born with a magical hair that is able to heal any desease and rejuvenate anyone who touches it. Because of that, she was kidnapped and emprisoned in a Tower by Gothel, who raises Rapunzel to be insecure and afrayed of the outside world. But her curiosity is more powerfull, and with the guidance of a thief named Flinn Rider, the young lady escapes the Tower and goes on a journey to discover both what is scary and what is beautifull on the outside world with her own eyes, along the way captivating people with her merry and spontaneous personality, wich gives her the Seventh Place on this list.
06º Pamela Winslow Kashani in American Playhouse: Into the Woods (1991)
The lady who originated the role in the Broadway stage musical. Like Mackenzie Mauzy, Pamela Winslow Kashani brings the beauty, the grance, the melancholy and the anger to the role, but with an extra touch of energetic humour, taking advantage of the fact that she is in a stage show and getting intense as possible. That humour in the First Act  is what makes her PTSD and tragic death in the Second Act all the more heartbreaking. Plus, she probably has the most beautifull singing voice ever gaved to a Rapunzel encarnation, and sometimes that is enough to earn a place in my rankings.
05º Mitsuko Horie/Lara Cody in Grimm’s Fairy Tale Classics (1988-89)
This encarnation has a tragic backstory, having been forgotten by her parents after they received a memory spell from the Witch and they had three more kids after her. She is raised in the Tower as the Witch’s granddaughter, and develops a great talent to play the harp. Is the sound of that harp that attracts the atention of the Prince, who comes to the tower and conquers Rapunzel’s love. Sadly, when they are making plans on how to take her away from the Tower, the Witch sees the Prince climbing down, so she cuts Rapunzel’s hair and beats her till unconsciousness before exiling the poor young woman in the desert, where she learns to survive while raising the son that she conceived with the Prince, who searches for Rapunzel despite being blinded by thorns.
04º Luisa Wietzorek in Sechs Auf Einen Streich (2009)
This adaptation gives some interesting touches to Rapunzel’s story and character: until age 12, she lived a nomadic life, travelling in Gothel’s donkey pulled cart. But one day Gothel spots Rapunzel talking with a young boy, and decides to lock her in the Tower, where there is a magic golden haircomb that makes Rapunzel’s hair grow to be used as a ladder by her adoptive mother. Years pass, and the destiny brings the Prince, who was the young boy of the pass, to the Tower where the now grown up Rapunzel lives, and she has to face a dilema: continuing to live in the Tower, that brings the feel of comfort and safety, or taking risks and running away to freedom with the Prince she fell in love with.
03º Kelly Sheridan in Barbie as Rapunzel (2002)
This was my first animated adaptation of the fairy tale, and still is my favorite. In this movie, while giving some painting lessons to her little sister, Barbie tells a version of the Rapunzel story to encourage her creativity: kidnapped as a baby by the Witch Gothel, Rapunzel was raised as a house maid, receiving constant verbal mistreatments. But, thanks to her friendship with a rabbit named Hobie and a dragon cub (who still needs to learn how to fly) called Penelope, and her love of painting, the young long haired lady never lets her spirit be broken, always dreaming of someday go to live free in a castle by the sea. One night, she is surprised to find a haircomb that turns into a magic paint brush, wich can make a portal where she can escape and explore the ouside world, and in her first journey, she meets and falls in love with the dashing Prince Stefan, while asking him to not his name to her, because she is afrayed of being forced to tell it to Gothel. And she doesn’t stay long, because she fears that Gothel will get revenge on Hugo, Penelope’s father, for her escape. Talk about having a great sense of altruism, who wouldn’t want to have this lady as their best friend?!
02º Sylvia Wolff  in Rapunzel oder Der Zauber der Tränen (1988)
This german TV Movie combines the tale of Rapunzel with another, more obscure tale collected by the Brothers Grimm, called Maid Maleen. In this version, Rapunzel growed up very acustomed to the comfort and rich life provided by the Old Witch, using a magic reel to roll her hair in and make it grow to be used as a latter. Even tough she is in love with Prince Mathias, she is afrayed of going to the outside world. Later, not being enough that the Old Witch discovers her secret, cuts of her hair and blinds Prince Mathias, the King, after learning the existence of a maiden in the tower who becamed the love of his son, orders his troops to search the tower and seal its window, because he wants Mathias to marry another neighbour princess he arranged for him! Fortunally one of the soldiers takes enough pity to let a loose brick so Rapunzel can breath. She tries to use the point reel to scratch the clay that glues the bricks, and after cutting herself in the reel and crying over it, the reel regains magic, floating, opening the bricks, helping her to escape  to the outside world and search for her beloved Mathias...
And my Number One favorite portrayal of Rapunzel is:
01º Shelley Duvall in Faerie Tale Theatre (1983)
There were some small changes made in some detailles of the story (radishes replacing rampion to be more familiar with international, non german audiences,  insinuation that the Peasants Wife’s craving of the vegetal was a spell purposefully cast by the Witch, Rapunzel being traped in the Tower at adulthood instead of age twelve and a talking parrot/macaw that tells the Witch of the Prince’s visits), but as a whole, this is probably the most faithfull adaptation of the Brothers Grimm tale, and is all the more benefited for it, specially Rapunzel’s character, portrayed by the shows herself, Shelley Duvall. Duvall presented a very sincere passion for the source material, and in her performance, she showed a deep understanding of Rapunzel’s character and why she resonates with so many people: her rebeliousness, her curiosity, her romanticism, her inteligence, her quiet strenght, her resilience and her sense of hope, all of those qualities that the Grimm’s described in their heroine, are all there! When i watch this episode of Faerie Tale Theatre, i don’t see an actress playing a role, i see an icon of my childhood coming to life!
And that is why Shelley Duvall in Faerie Tale Theatre is whom i consider my definitive Rapunzel.

Rating Miraculouses: Bee.
Tumblr media
Jewel: yellow haircomb with a bee. Nice jewel, actually! Pun on honeycombs and totally looks like a bee flying. One of my favorites... if not for the inconsistency. In Style Queen its head was shiny and it had a different model overall. Also I don't like the countdown, stripes and head? Why not 5 stripes? 7/10 overall nice but inconsistent.
Color: bright yellow. Definitive symbol of bees- their yellow color! 10/10.
Sub: I thought it didn't have one but it seems black is kinda promint on backgrounds, transformation, effects... so yeah, if we say black, then I'd say it isn't the nicest contrast but it's ok. 7/10.
Symbol: a black bee with yellow accents. Nice, more elaborated than the other three I rated, but not too complicated. 8/10.
Concept: subjection/domination (French dub). And I dislike it. Bees, for me, fit better cooperation, abundance, construction or even healing. Subjection is not related to bees (afaik), and domination is something exclusive to queen bees and maybe a stretch. 0/10 I'd rather normal bees instead of just the queen bee.
Kwami: Pollen. Furry bee with blue sclera, I liked her old design better. Too passive. If she is the Kwami of domination, why is she so permissive? 4/10 lackluster.
Power: Venom. Paralyzes an enemy. I totally hate it. For me, it has nothing to do with bees, not even queen bees, and it is too OP. Just release the Bee and boom, battle won. At least it has a kinda nice aesthetic, so 1/10 it is.
Weapon: spinning top. Totally fits bees as it looks like a stinger... HOWEVER, it doesn't function like a spinning top at all and it is a cooler version of the yoyo. A literal copy with more abilities and nice aesthetic. 3/10 useful but not original.
Overall: fucking nice aesthetic and looks but terrible lore and mythological associations. 5/10 barely passes. Saved by its aesthetic but fails execution. I hate it.

(A/N: this is just another crackfic featuring Nice Dover and Iromatsu. No pair or what mm yeah idk @myrandomnessblog :3c)
—-part 1—
—Japan, afternoon—
“Ichimatsu! Let’s go to the airport now! We can finally have enough money to go to Paris!” Karamatsu looks excited as usual, he carried his luggage which is dark blue, unlike usual sparkling fashion, Choromatsu picked it for him. “Yes yes, thanks for your reminding it. I just wore my clothes, what season was it there? I am convinced i will definetly die there tho. I want to go home already” Ichimatsu scoffed then sneered at him. Karamatsu startled and sighing, “Ichimatsu, don’t say that. My dear little brother….it is just travelling. Nothing bad will happen”
“Come on! Karamatsu nii san! Ichimatsu nii san! Cheer up and get along okay? You both fight so much this lately” Todo pouted and pushed them to the door. “I will give you a ride, don’t worry”. Todomatsu hummed cheerfully and walked to outside.
“Thanks Todomatsu. I am sure I will give you the most beautiful present ever” Karamatsu sniffled and hugged him, being a sensitive guy he is, he easily got touched by smallest affection. Todomatsu unexpectedly hugged him back. Osomatsu chuckled and hugged Karamatsu and caressed his hair, “Be safe. Choromatsu is shy, he does not know what to do. I bet he is wishing for the best too”. Osomatsu laughed it off, Choromatsu peeked from window on upstair and throw ball of paper to Karamatsu’s head.
“Ouchie! Choromatsu, don’t be that rough” Karamatsu sighed and opened it, it was a rather adorable looking letter of message written “Be safe! I am waiting for you” on it. Choromatsu shut close the window before Karamatsu looked up. Osomatsu winked, “See? He is just shy. He feel bad because both of you played often but suddenly you got to leave like that” He smiled like usual. Karamatsu felt quickly reassured.
“Tch. It is just one week, no. Actually 4 days only. You all overreacting” Ichimatsu pouted and poke Osomatsu’s shoulder. Osomatsu laughed and combed Ichimatsu’s hair. “You looked great”
Ichimatsu averted his eyes and enjoyed the feeling of being combed by the eldest, “Thanks…” he held the haircomb and keep it.
—Hotel, afternoon—-
“What is it? You can just come to my room for talk” England answered the phone sleepily. “I just worked on all of my job”, He yawned and rubbed his eyes. “Huh? You want me to go to Paris? And you will go to my place? That is unreasonab-” He held his forehead. He just want to yell to France to shut up and stop making stupid unreasonable demands, but then he thought he deserve a holiday as well. “Fine, your treat for whole of my expense there. I only can have 4 days. Quick send me online ticket”. France answered, “Deal!” Then he closed the phone then laughed in happiness for winning bet with Spain. France already prepared those tickets anyway.
“See?? Nobody can resist the beauty of moi!” France smiled smugly and drank his wine. Spain sighed, “I remember you are close friends with him” he chuckled. “Alright!!! I will make your dinner for a week!! Do you take me to London too?”. Spain hummed and waited for answer. France shook head, “I want to, but Romano is behind you, Germany as well” He pinched Spain’s cheek. Spain looked at behind and gasped in dramatic horror. “Sorry for neglecting my work!” He got pulled by those two.
—in Airport, Japan—-
“Ichimatsu. Becarful, don’t switch your ticket with someone else’s”, Karamatsu looked at his little brother whom looked unease. Ichimatsu looked at him and gave silent nod, he dislike crowds so much. Karamatsu stroked his back to gave him comfort, he oftenly do that because he is the second eldest that calmed his brothers down. Ichimatsu looked at Karamatsu, “2 hours again until departure right? I want to buy food” he tried to fake his calmness. Karamatsu nodded and waited for him, he trusted Ichimatsu. Osomatsu’s plan to fixed their troubled brothership sure worked well, so far.
“Karamatsu! Here it is” he showed him the food. They sat together near the departure door. Ichimatsu felt calmed down then asleep, he finally get used to the atmosphere there, Karamatsu smiled in relieve for that. Karamatsu got up, “Toilet” he walked off to nearest toilet before went back.
“Ichimatsu. We are going with different plane because of holiday season. Choromatsu is good for finding plane with same hour and airport” Karamatsu woke Ichimatsu’s a bit. Ichimatsu nodded, he was told before. “Just find me outside the airport okay?” He spoke with calm but serious voice. Ichimatsu just gave a nod and took notes. They took each other’s picture to make it easy to find each other. Then Ichimatsu walked to his gate and waited there, Karamatsu just hope for the best, he gave Ichimatsu pocket French dictionary anyway.
~~—Part II—~~
–departure, Ichimatsu’s plane—
Finally time to depart, Ichimatsu sat on his seat, who sat next to him is a beautiful blonde hair man with flashy looking clothes, he looked at the window and hoping for no interaction at all. “Bonjour. Konnichiwa” said the man. “What is your name?” The blonde man pap his shoulder and smiled. “My name is Francis”, Ichimatsu sweated a bit and nodded, “Ichimatsu is my name, the badluck number in sextuplets. The 4th” he answered it shortly. “How many hours will it takes?” He looked at the other man’s eyes. “Who knows? Even the longest hours will feel short if we are talking together” the frenchman winked a bit. Ichimatsu cold sweated, no no no this man is exactly like Karamatsu but more weird is what is in his thought. Ichimatsu felt more nervous than before, “s..shut up. Don’t act like that. It reminds me of someone” of course, Ichimatsu refered to his brother.
“Non! That is just not a good manner to talk with, Monsieur Ichimatsu” France shook head and sighing. “You remind me of Eng-I mean Arzhur. He acted like that, with punk lame looking messy hair like that”, Francis let a faint laugh, the shorter man infront of him really act like his frienemy. Ichimatsu blinked in suprise when France said ‘non!’ Like that, he quickly shook head to snapped himself back into reality. “There is no way there is someone as trash as me”. They keep talking until hours passed and it reached night already, they both fell asleep when the lamps are off. Ichimatsu got tired quickly after hours of talk.
—-departure time, Karamatsu’s plane–
Karamatsu wore his brown coat that he packed on his backpack. He looked for his seat and find a punk looking man with an aura of shitty killer similar to pirate itself. The man, named Arthur Kirkland aka England, looked at Karamatsu with his corner from his sleepy eyes and looked at the window again. Karamatsu cold sweated, the aura was more intimidating than Ichimatsu. Arthur looked at him again, “Sit, young man. The others are waiting” Arthur pointed at the sit and lifted the pillow. Karamatsu quickly sit, damn he got really scared. “S-sorry about that…” he let his natural voice out, then he heard he a chuckle from other man. He turned his head at Arthur in confusion, “huh?”. England chuckled a bit, “Why so scared? I won’t do anything on you” he let a gentle smile escaped from his lips. “My name is Arthur. Where are you heading?” He shook Karamatsu’s hand a bit firm while talking with reassuring tone that he will be okay. Karamatsu exhaled in relieve and smiled, “My name is Karamatsu Matsuno. I am heading to Paris with my brother”. They talked then a flight attendant offer them cups of tea or beer.
“Barley tea! Do you have one?” Karamatsu and Arthur asked at same time. The flight attendant chuckled and gave them tea and biscuits. “Oui” the flight attendant nodded and pushed through for others. Karamatsu looked at Arthur and laughed a bit, “We got same taste I guess”, Arthur nod and drank his tea, “I supposed so”. They talked about others and brothers for a long time.
—–15 minutes before arrival–
France woke Ichimatsu up, “Monseiur Ichimatsu, wake up..15 minutes again. Where are you heading?” France waited for him to wake up. “MmnnParis…” Ichimatsu awake and rubbed his eyes, France blinked a bit, “This plane is going to London. Not Paris…Do you have wrong ticket?” France sighed a bit. Ichimatsu jolted awake and checked his ticket. “L..ondon. No!! Jyuushimatsu pick wrong ticket!” He muttered a bit loud to himself, France asked him to calm down. “It is okay. England and France is only separated by Strait Dover, it will be okay.” His low pitch voice gave a strong feeling of reassurement. Ichimatsu whom he is on verge of crying because of scared in new place started to calm down. Finally time for arrival. Ichimatsu step down and looked at France, “Where is Strait Dover? I want to go to France even it means I have to swim through and die” Ichimatsu have fool’s confidence on his eyes, France chuckled. “Calm down, you don’t want to do that. I can inform tour agency to make new ticket”. Ichimatsu shook head, “No need to help a trash being like me!!” He was being stubborn as usual. France sighed, “Leave everything to me. I know someone who can help” he phoned England.
“Eng~land~”
England picked his phone up. “What??? I am in Paris and facing trouble now!” He was with Karamatsu. Karamatsu is waiting anxiously for Ichimatsu, “it is been an hour. Where is Ichimatsu?” He muttered to himself. England sighed and texted France, “Text me only. I am facing my own issue.” He mailed the flight agency to make confirmation about Ichimatsu’s whereabout.
“Karamatsu. Look. Your brother is safe. He is in London, it is on my land-I mean my country” he showed him the e-mail. Karamatsu jumped in happiness and relieve. “Thank God of Safety” Karamatsu wiped his tears and nodded. “So what can we do? Is the seats there are fullbooked?” Karamatsu looked at England with expression of the sincerest thankful eyes he has ever seen. Arthur nodded and sighed while feeling embarassed, “It is all fullbooked. My friend is on London and I will ask him to take care of your brother. There is nothing we can do but to enjoy Paris while we can”, Arthur sighed a bit. This encounter must be a luck for them, he thought.
“Can I ask for your friend’s contact?” Karamatsu asked Arthur once more. England nodded and wrote him the phone number and e-mail. Suddenly Arthur’s phone rang loudly, it is a call from Germany. “Ah hey Ludwig!” Arthur answered him, Germany was a bit in suprised for sudden human name call. “England are you okay? Why sudden human name?”, Germany sounds concerned. England shrugged, “nothing Germa-ah Ludwig. Yes, I will mail the agenda and memos rightaway”. He closed the phone and whispered himself ‘being a country is hard…’ he held his forehead. Karamatsu heard that but he played ignore it, “umh. I don’t come here with intinerary or program. Can you show me around? I want to buy things for him. Our ticket to go back only can be used on next 3 days” Karamatsu smiled a bit. Arthur nodded and showed him around, despite he hated France as a person, he liked the weather.
Ichimatsu did not have much choice but to stuck in this place for next 3 days. He looked at Francis. “This place is cold” he sneezed like a cat and shivered. “I have some money to buy scarf. Do you know where is the nearest money changer?”, Ichimatsu tried his best to talk smoothly. Francis walked and showed him the place and the shop where he and Arthur shop together a week ago. France also arranged to have meeting with Arthur altho Arthur said he have someone accompany him but Arthur agreed to take that someone with him. “Ichimatsu! We will go to this bakery on the day after tomorrow at noon okay? Also we stay in this hotel on separate room” Francis smiled after arranging everything, he really wanted to show off to Arthur about his ability, being a proud frenchman he was. Ichimatsu gave a nod as sign of agreement. “Thank you” He said hesistatedly. France laughed again and pat his laugh, “Even if you are as gloomy as this storm. You are cute like a kitten”. Ichimatsu pouted but ended up listened to him.
—part III— Night comes. Ichimatsu tucked himself under blanket, he sleep soundly. France slept on another room which has above average room. Arthur and Karamatsu slept on bunkbeds on cheap backpack traveller motel. Arthur’s phone turned on in the middle of the night, it was a message of invitation to World Meeting for World Economy issue, Karamatsu whose slept on bottom bunkbed notice it and have slight read, he got suspicious about the existence of man named Arthur, he can felt he is not human. Possibly his friend too.
Arthur awake at night and saw Karamatsu. “Nn Karamatsu..” he sat down and took his phone, “Sorry, does the light awake you?” His jade eyes colors got reflected the phone light. He coughed a bit and sat down, Paris is cold today. They went back to sleep gently at night.
Morning came, France waited for Ichimatsu on bakery downstair. Ichimatsu come with set of clothes they picked up last night. France looked at him with pride, he really love fashion afterall. How typical of him. “We will meet him 2 hours again at lunch near Buckingham Palace”. Ichimatsu tried to repeat it, “Buckingham…Parazu” he got a bit embarassed and threw himself into trashcan when he failed do so, France frantically pulled him before anyone see him losing his cool.
Arthur wore his T-shirt after taking a bath. Karamatsu also. Arthur looked at him, “Do you know my secret? You possibly doubt whether I am a human or not. Any human will do that, honestly. It is just common thing” he wore his sweater and packed his luggage. Karamatsu cold sweated a bit, “Oui..about that, yes. I observe things without my control” his voice expressed scared and yet seriousness. Arthur sighed and lied down on the bed, “I am personification of England. I lived for centuries. My friend as well. We are not bad people”. Karamatsu felt relieve and smiled, “Thanks…”. Arthur sat down and looked at the watch, “Come on! We will go to Paris! Maybe ‘he’ is with him!” He opened the door then they rushed to the Channel Tunnel.
Hours passed. England called a cab and they went straight to bakery where they will met. Ichimatsu was asleep after eating, Francis got exhausted from preventing Ichimatsu do silly things. England looked at the man next to Francis. “Same face!!! Is this man is your brother???” England poked Karamatsu who seemed in unease from previous talk. Karamatsu looked suprised.
“ICHIMATSU!!!” Karamatsu shouted and hugged him. Ichimatsu hugged back, “Karamatsu nii san!!!” He teared up a bit. England and France laughed together, “honestly. I just met them a day ago. Youngster nowadays sure are unseparable” they looked at each other and sat down. “What is your plan now?”. Karamatsu and Ichimatsu still tearing up and sniffling, “we don’t know…we are too happy to think of anything”.
Suddenly a dark intimidating aura can be felt from 1 meter behind them. Germany emits humanly unexplainable darkest aura ever. “FRANCE! ENGLAND! LET’S GO TO THE MEETING FOR DISCUSSING HOW TO BANISH UNEMPLOYMENT! I have trying to contact you since 3 hours ago! If you both are not countries, you are certainly jobless for centuries!”. France gasped “WAH DARK LORD GERMANY!” Then he turned himself into magical strikes boy., “na~ na~ England~ Big brother France will leave you alone! Au revoir!” France turned into magical boy and started to run, England yelled. “GO DIE FRANCE!! GO DIE!!” He kicked France on the head and sighing. “Ah Karamatsu! Do you want to come to the meeting place? I am worried about both of you-EH???” England made horrified scream when see Karamatsu and Ichimatsu both got pale then faint down on ground before waking up in despair, “ah..ahahaha…so they are countries right Ichimatsu? We really got our life wrecked. This must be punishment for being NEETs” he laughed in despair, Ichimatsu make the most despairingly cheerful laughed and nod in agreement, “Agree with that Karamatsu nii san. we all will be banished because we are unemployed and act like leeches. Let’s swim on Strait Dover back to Japan”. Karamatsu nodded and posed like cool man, “Nice Idea! Splendid!”
Then so they did swim from Strait Dover to Japan. With power of NEETs.
The End.

Real Bride Diary: I’m Hair Accessory Obsessed!
I love bridal hairpieces. Floral crowns, starry hairpins, architectural combs, gemstone jewels, I’m obsessed. Choosing just one statement piece for my bridal look is proving to be far more difficult than wedding dress shopping ever was. Do I latch on to my favorite current celestial trend? Do I remind everyone that yes, I am in fact the Princess of North Sixth Street?
I’ve probably driven my best friend (you know, the bridal stylist that’s been reading your horoscope?) and mother crazy with “this one or this one?!” over the last few months so I’m taking it to you lovely readers, as a Claire Eliza Real Bride Diary plea to help me just pick one already!
Ruffle French Barrette by Lelet NY
For reference: I don’t have pierced ears, wear minimal jewelry (my two solitaire rings and an occasional white gold bangle) and always knew a veil wasn’t for me. Being deliberately minimalistic with nearly all of my bridal wardrobe (remember my bridal icon, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy?) that means my bridal headpiece can certainly make a statement.
Oh, and I just chopped half my hair off. Gasp, a bride chopping her locks off before the big day?! Listen lovelies, I can’t handle this whole “you should be doing this” nonsense, so the more Seattle contrarian I can inject into this wedding day, the better.
Celestial Star Headpieces
Clockwise, starting from top left: Hair Inspiration by Tonya Stylist via Festival Brides, Hair Comb by Luna Bea, Celestial Coronet by Jennifer Behr, Vega Bobby Pins by Jennifer Behr, Nova Bandeaux by Jennifer Behr, Callisto Moon Hair Pins by Tilly Thomas Lux.
I feel like the latest celestial bridal trend was basically invented for me. Normally I pass on whatever the latest trend is, worrying that they’ll go out of style too quickly, but I’m giddy about all the stardust sprinkling throughout the bridal industry right now.
Luna Bea’s starry hair comb is even more of an art piece than an accessory, fitting into the whole “LA fashion girl” look I’ve been drooling over lately.
Oh, and that hairdo by Tonya Stylist? Maybe my favorite edgy, bun ever – could be perfect with Tilly Thomas Lux’s bold, moon and star pins, no?
Modern, Fashion-Forward Headpieces
Clockwise starting from top left: Charlie Haircomb by Jannie Baltzer, Brit Haircomb by Hushed Commotion, Art Bridal Haircomb by Maison Sabben, Ruffle French Barrette by Lelet NY
I’m totally digging on modern, fashion-forward headpieces versus the traditional romantic pins of the past. Lelet NY wowed us at Bridal Fashion week this year – showing off her talents as a former architect with strong lines and bold metals, her Ruffle French Barrettes are beyond cool.
Also, I’ve been dreaming about these Charlie Haircombs from Jannie Baltzer ever since she shared her latest collection with us this winter. Inspired by ginkgo leaves, these organic beauties are far from literal, making them so mod.
Bridal Tiaras
Clockwise starting from top left: Desert Tiara by Untamed Petals, Chantilly Tiara by Tania Maras, Agustina de Aragon by Mimoki via Laure de Sagazan, Dried floral tiara inspiration by Hello May Magazine via Festival Brides, Couronne Temperance by Lizeron via Laure de Sagazan.
Just because I covet the whole “cool bride” vibe it doesn’t mean I don’t also want to remind everyone that I am absolutely a princess. (There can be a Queen of Cool!) Tania Maras has the whole “royal” look mastered with her Chantilly Tiara, while Lizeron goes totally avant-garde with her porcelain Temperance crown.
I’ve always had a thing for dried floral crowns (remember in My Big Fat Greek Wedding when Yaya pulls out her own bridal headpiece?! I love that scene!) and I’ve been wondering lately if I should just forgo the big purchase and DIY a dried, heirloom tiara myself? Who’s with me?!
Willowby by Watters & Desert by Untamed Petals at A & Bé Bridal Seattle photographed by Claire Eliza
While dress shopping in Seattle, I fell for this art deco Desert Tiara by Untamed Petals – just the right amount of vintage with modern copper tones.
The Final Few Favorites
MOSS Bridal Hair Pins by Maison Sabben
Part of me is still a tad wary of distracting too much from my dress, these Maison Sabben hairpins are the artful, luxe style I adore in miniature. Best of all, they come in white, giving the ultimate contrast against my dark eyes and hair.
Violet Gown & Lelet NY Headpiece photographed by Claire Eliza
On the opposite end of the spectrum, I couldn’t look away from this Lelet NY headband when we visited Trish Peng at Bridal Fashion Week (rumor has it, the headpiece will be available in July). My mother and I both agree that we’ve never seen anything like it – utilizing the star trend in a 1920’s fashion, this headpiece is certainly a “head turner”.
Couronne Hermine by Lizeron via Laure de Sagazan
Finally, it helps to be able to envision what you might look like with a certain accessory, right? With basically the same dark features, olive skin and even hair length, I dropped everything when I saw this Lizeron tiara on our trip to Laure de Sagazan’s bridal studio. I love the way that this porcelain piece could have been designed now, or a hundred years ago – making this headpiece a timeless heirloom to pass down for generations to come.
Want to truly help me decide? Head over to our Instagram Stories today and vote for your favorites!
Find more headpieces in our bridal accessories section. And follow along with my Real Bride Diary (six more months to go!)

Kagami’s birthday
The food was taken from Kitchen Princess. A healthy dessert made for a friend, and a cake that is a Japanese western dessert. The ending was inspired by an iCarly episode iPity the Nevel
Kagami’s birthday is always celebrated the same way. She gets her favourite breakfast, fencing practise at home is shorter, lessons continue at the same duration, she can choose what she wants for lunch, fencing practise outside, shopping, and her Mother takes her out to a fancy restaurant.
Even with Adrien and Marinette as friends, Kagami’s birthday schedule won’t change. But Marinette is determined to celebrate.
She persuades Monsieur D’argencourt to let his class celebrate Kagami’s birthday during their mid-session break.
Adrien tells his team the plan.
On Kagami’s birthday, Adrien gives her a music CD of a French singer she admires.
When break comes around, the team starts to sing happy birthday. Marinette appears with a lit black castella cake decorated with candles and colourful ama natto.
She also serves healthy agar agar in Kagami’s favourite flavours and with her favourite fruits.
Kagami hugs Marinette, happy to have at least a birthday party, no matter how short.
The break lasted longer than 10 minutes because D’argencourt was savouring the food.
Marinette stays to watch the second half of practise, actually cheering for Kagami to beat Adrien.
When Kagami is about to leave, Marinette rushes over and gives her a present. Kagami unwraps it to reveal a beautiful handmade hairpin with a dragon motif and dangling beads.
Adrien praises Marinette’s handiwork and Kagami thanks Marinette again.
When Kagami meets her Mother, she shows off the hairpin and gives her a slice of her birthday cake. Tomoe can only feel the design but admits she believes the designer has made an exquisite hairpiece for her daughter. And while she cannot see how pretty the cake is, Marinette’s remodel of the classic castella has a nice aroma with a moist, rich, sesame texture.
Dinner was ruined because it was held at Chloe’s hotel. Mother and Daughter had been enjoying Marinette soup (and admitted her friend’s family had tremendous talent in the food industry) when Chloe came in with Sabrina.
Chloe hated Kagami and disliked her presence in HER hotel. Chloe then orders Sabrina to carry out sabotage.
Sabrina uses a slingshot to hit their winebottle, covering the table with broken glass.
As Kagami rushes to her mother’s aid, Sabrina aims for the pretty hairpin.
It falls to the floor. After helping Tomoe to move away from the table, Kagami notices her present is missing. As Kagami searches for it, Chloe purposefully steps into view and crushes the gift under her heel.
Chloe sneers at Kagami. “Oops. You really should be more careful, Kagami.”
Hawkmoth senses Kagami’s worry for her mother, sadness about her first gift from a female friend, and anger at Chloe.
He transforms her into Tanjoubi (I have no idea what else to call her...) and transform the broken hairpin into a really sharp rapier that shatters anything it touches, like broken glass.
Tanjoubi really wants to kill Chloe and chases after her. Good thing the Butler then sent the news to the Ladyblog. That is a faster warning system than trying to call the news network.
Fight comes, yada yada yada
Sabrina is in trouble because she has the slingshot that started all this trouble but Ladybug asks Chloe if there is anything she wants to say.
Chloe: As if.
Well...can’t say Ladybug didn’t give Chloe a chance to be a bigger person. The cure healed Tomoe and fixed the bracelet.
The heroes wish Kagami a happy birthday. Tomoe holds out her walking stick and “accidentally” trips Chloe and Sabrina into someone else’s table.
Chloe yells at her but Sabrina warns her that people are filming.
Chloe gets a lot of flack for yelling at a blind woman. She was already unpopular but her time Queen Bee helped to ease that. This new video and her lack of time of appearing as Queen Bee has caused a lot of negative emotions to resurface.
She begs Adrien to help her. Adrien is not happy with Chloe either but he is willing to help redeem her. He films Chloe’s public apology but it fails.
Marinette is asked for advice and she points out Chloe could just apologize to the Tsuguri family in person. Chloe reluctantly kneels before Tomoe and offers her a brand new walking stick and bottle of wine. Tomoe accepts the apology but not the gift. Kagami follows her mother’s lead and refuses the gaudy haircomb because her homemade hairpin is priceless.
Marinette can’t help but let out a “you tell her, Kagami.” She really wants to hug her friend but restrains herself in Tomoe’s presence.
Adrien just smiles at Marinette indulgently.
Tumblr media
Chloe is left alone on social media. People interpret the event that while Chloe is forgiven, the Tsuguri family still dislike her.
