hello !! these are my 2 kitties lucy (gray) and foo (white). if it helps, their momma cat was a dilute calico
lucy has a very interesting cocktail going on ! she looks like a normal gray cat but has stripes and patches of diluted orange. i really like the sashimi stripe on her leg. she has funny colored eyes too.
her sister foo is a normal calico but im curious why she has that orange mustache, if you know.
Ah, a lovely duo! I can tell you for sure that their father must have been a heterozygous (Dd) dense orange tabby, if these are the kittens!
The first one is a blue tortoiseshell self with high white spotting!
The second one is a black tortoiseshell self with high white spotting! Her little orange muzzle-tips are just from how the white spotting formed, and no specific gene causes traits like that.

My cat Malva is three years old today (according to her Ukrainian pet passport)! Born in Donetsk, was surrendered to a shelter in Kyiv, then went to Munich in a van full of dogs, with some cat carriers stuffed in between the dog crates. She was in her carrier for four days on end and now hates having to be in a box.
However, by now, she has been with me almost as long as she has been anywhere else combined. I'm trying to do that rescue cat thing for her where I love and spoil her so much she forgets she came from a war zone, and life was ever horrible.
Sam, I know you like Tortie Merch. graycatatelier. bigcartel. com/product/preoder-silly-kittens-sticker-sheet
Tortie tortie tortie! And a TRUE tortie, not even a tortie-calico! Doing exactly the Dearborn "I'm dead on the electric blanket" pose!
I have preordered. Hell yeah.
[ID: An image from the sticker sheet of a tortoiseshell kitten, lying on its side, front legs flopped down while the back legs lie straight out. It is very much the pose my Dearborn does when she wants belly rubs but won't bestir herself to beg for them.]
