Hello wonderful people! 👋

I'm looking for some roleplay partners. I don't really have a limit on how many I want to take in or anything, so if you're interested, then let me know in the dms! But before you message me, please kindly read the following notes about me and what I'm looking for. Even if you don't meet all the criteria, I'm more than willing to give you a chance! Though age is a hard requirement that has to be met! Anything with a * next to it is a requirement I’m looking for in a partner.

Most, if not all roleplays will be NSFW

Yes, it'll have some spicy times in it, but it's mostly deemed NSFW because of the themes I like to write.

Dark themes, triggering situations, adult content - everything, of course, will be preplanned with long discussions of triggering topics, hard limits and such.

This is different from god-modding

This just means that in our plot, I can (and prefer) to control more than one character. So while my main face claim may be Chan from Stray Kids, I may also play Felix and Seungmin to add a little more substance and character development to the plot.

While I would like for you to also have more than one character, I don’t expect it of you if you’re not comfortable with it.

With regards to NPCs (the barista working at the café they visit, or the random people they meet along the way), either one of us can control them at any time as long as it’s to move the plot along.

OC Character - Kayden Park

Kayden was overjoyed. He hadn’t thought tulips would grow at this time of the year, but entering the garden he found a wide variety of them, pristine and in full bloom. They were the one flower that Kayden had really hoped would grow because after he read what their meanings were, he knew almost instantly who he wanted to give them to.

Specifically the red tulips.

Some might say he falls too easily and others might say he loves too hard. But in reality, Kayden couldn’t control who he was or how he felt about people. When he found someone he liked, he became attached to them, trying to be as close as possible while nurturing their growing relationship - whatever it might be. Even if that person got on his nerves all the time, or they ended up doing things that very honestly scared him, ending a relationship just wasn’t in Kayden’s vocabulary.

Red tulips symbolize true love, or a soulmate. Kayden had a specific person in mind and while he wouldn’t say it was true love - hell Atreyu could barely stand him in a good - he did think the other was his soulmate. Despite their ups and downs and the multitude of times he was locked out of the dorm and left to fend for himself for the night, Kayden knew that what he had with Atreyu was special - indescribable even.

And while he couldn’t find the words, he knew the flowers would do the best job. So after carefully plucking five of the tulips, he handed back inside and to his room where he had left his roommate. Atreyu had been in one of his moods again, refusing to speak to Kayden, so hopefully the flowers would double as something to cheer him up.

“Atreyu~!” he sang happily as he opened the door, hoping he hadn’t disturbed the other but knowing he probably did. He braced himself to be hit with a pillow or something, even a “go away” in his harsh and icy tone. But when he got no greeting in return, Kayden took a moment to actually look around the room.

It was empty.

And not just in a way that said Atreyu left to go mope somewhere. It was truly empty. The smile on his face slowly fell as he stepped into the room. His bed was made, but it lacked a lived-in feel - as if a maid had come in and just fixed the bed to make it look presentable. The nightstand next to the bed was barren, everything Atreyu had kept there gone.

Kayden didn’t want to jump to conclusions but his mind was already racing. He crossed the space quickly and yanked open the drawers. Barren. Turning, he moved to the closet next and opened it. Nothing. Everything that had belonged to Atreyu was gone.

He was gone.

As Kayden stood there, reality slowly came crashing down as he realized he was alone. No note. No text. No goodbye. He clenched the tulips tightly in his hand before releasing them and letting them drop to the floor.

Stupid.

He had been so stupid and this is what he got.

Silently, Kayden walked over to his bed and sat down on it gingerly, eyes staring blankly ahead.

Alone.

No matter what he did, he was always going to be alone.

ABO AU - Chan, Jisung, Seungmin, Changbin

Jisung laughed and nodded, pulling back some from the other. “Tonight…supposedly.” He said and shrugged. “But my body has been weird lately, so it may hold off another day. I hope it does cause I wanna be able to spend time with you. It’s been so long.”

Jisung had honestly missed the omega. He hadn’t seen Hyunjin since the night of the attack. The last thing Jisung could recall was rolling on top of Hyunjin to protect him from the blade before calling for help. Chan had told him already that if it weren’t for him, Hyunjin probably would have ended up dying.

So if that meant Jisung suffered from nightmares and a sore side (with a near death experience of his own), then so be it. It was worth it.

He grunted when Felix suddenly tackled them both, hugging them tightly. “Yeah! What Lixie said.” He said and whined. “Felix, my side.” He hissed softly.

Chan watched the three, smiling fondly. He walked over and patted Felix’s head gently. “Come in Lix, be careful with them.” He said gently. “They’re both still healing.”

Seungmin peeked his head out of the kitchen before hiding once more, afraid to face Hyunjin. He felt so guilty still for turning his back on the omega so fast. Things from that had been hectic, chaotic. Feelings were hurt, people were hurt and Seungmin may have chosen the wrong side.

He still fully believed how things were handled was inexcusable and that was mostly on Chan’s part but knowing the other was Hyunjin’s soulmate and seeing first hand what a soulmate bond looked like through Jisung and Minho, Seungmin sort of understood where everyone was coming from. It couldn’t be helped, the attraction.

He wanted to apologize for being such an ass but he was afraid Hyunjin wouldn’t accept it. He didn’t want to cause discourse in the pack because the others seemed so hellbent on getting Hyunjin in the pack and they were happy. He would be happy too, he just wasn’t sure if Hyunjin would be happy around him.

Meanwhile, Changbin made his exit from the kitchen and smiled. “We’ll looky here.” He called. “Chan really did bring us a present.” He teased.

i'm not super familiar with tumblr so please bare with me LOL but i'm looking for long term plotting partners!

anywho, i write as hyunjin from skz, and unfortunately i only write mxm, sorry girlies! my writing style is semi-lit, 3rd pov, present tense. length can vary depending on what's going on in the plot but i tend to mirror my partner anyways. i'm also not too picky on who you decide to write as!

So, the AI Art discussion has been a huge hot topic for not only the WoW RP community, but the entire internet as we know it. Because we are such a creative community, it’s no wonder people want aesthetically pleasing visuals for their characters. However, not everyone has the finances for a commission or wants to slap down $100+ dollars for a fully rendered full body.

It sounds a little silly saying it, but genuinely try picking up art yourself! Draw your own character with your own little gremlin RP hands. Roleplay was a very big driving force for me learning art in my youth. All you need to pencil and paper! There’s also plenty of free drawing programs you can use as well when starting out!

Also check with your local community centres, as many often provide free or cheap art classes!

//Quick note because I have an ongoing issue with a block evader under the cut

So I have a block evader like I said above, and they block me first on every blog they have/make, but the issue is that they make SEPARATE BLOG ACCOUNTS for each new blog they make. They've also been making new blogs a lot lately, like within a week of each other.

Some might argue I shouldn't worry because they block me first, but the trouble is they block me first and then claim I am harassing them with friends when I am not. I only find out about where their new blogs are a few days after they're made, and I have no interest in contacting them.

They also like to say that I am ruining their fun when they are actively acting like they own their mutuals like property and telling those mutuals to block me based on their biased opinionated vilifying of me.

It's getting tedious tracking out each new separate account blog they make as they pop up, but now I do have some nice people helping me if they notice a new blog pop up by this person so I can keep every one of their accounts blocked in a speedy manner. There's also the matter this has been going on for OVER A MONTH.

And I am not exaggerating when I say this needs to be done when this person has made over 4 separate blog accounts so far from when I used to associate with them to now.

So...They are a headache to block obviously.

I'm getting a little exhausted with their mental gymnastics, projecting on me, and denial of any responsibility or guilt to their own actions consequences alone. The block evading via 4+ blogs and through their mutuals willing to be manipulated into doing so is just an added level.

Normally I wouldn't ever clearly point out anyones antics in this direct while still vague way either, but their escalating antics have pushed me to at least say SOMETHING about it. I still won't name them, not even when asked. People involved with them know who they are and who I am, along with the lies.

People close to me have been avoiding this person and not engaging with them, but are often the ones that notice if a new blog pops up to let me know to block it. They do this for the sake of my mental health and happiness despite this persons antics. I am not online all the time all day like this person to catch onto them spying on me with a new account. I have a life outside of RPing.

That's really all I got to say on this issue at hand.

Well that, and to the damn block evader:

Please stop with all the separate accounts to block evade and focus on your offline life with your s/o more than RP on here. You clearly need a break to live in reality and I am here for a hobby in my down time while I work on my projects/freelance art commissions. I do not have the time or patience for your immature antics when you like to tout you're nearly the same age as me as an adult.

Hey~~ for the Redacted Ask Game - Freelancer, Starlight, D.A.M.N. 💞

OMG HIIIII- (I literally was not expecting anyone to ask me anything💀💀 but I'm so happy people are :D) thankies for the ask!!

Freelancer (what is a skill you'd like to learn and be good at?)— I've bounced around interests quite a bit, and I know some stuff and can do that stuff decently, I'd like to think^^; the thing that I've been hellbent on recently is bass! I've been playing guitar for a few years now and I'm hoping that gives me at least a little but of a buff when learning how to play bass :)

Starlight (what is your favorite constellation and/or planet? What's your zodiac sign?)— My favorite constellation is Orion. I'd like to give a super detailed reason as to why, but I don't think I can. I don't know very much about the constellations—though I'd love to learn (I love learning about anything I don't know or understand tbh-)—but Orion is one of very few constellations I can see right from my backyard, and every time I look at it, I just feel kind of comforted? Little hard to explain and kinda dumb, but I'll stick with it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

D.A.M.N. (how did you get into Redacted?)— This is a really funny story to me actually- it's pretty long so I'll put it under the cut.

I've gone most of my life being subject to my older sister and her incessant obsession with all things vampires and werewolves, so I grew to hate the whole genre altogether. Not to mention, as I got older and was still being forced to sit down and watch The Vampire Diaries with her (otherwise she'd cry and accuse me of not loving or caring about her and make me feel kinda shitty, so I just sucked it up lmao) I came to realize that it was just... horribly written. I'd say horribly acted, but I don't think I can fully blame them for the god-awful teen angst that was poured into that show by the tons. Anyway- when I got into the whole asmr rp thing, I was mostly just listening to normal boring domestic stuff (and comfort for trauma and all that blah-blah-bull). One day, I stumbled across a recommended video from Mr. Redacted ASMR (at the time) and was... less than interested when I saw it was an audio of a "feisty werewolf boyfriend" so I kinda rolled my eyes and continued with my boring normal human stuff. Then, few days later I'm hit with another Redacted recommendation, but this time it was a "nervous air elemental" I was still a little iffy bc this was the same guy who had the werewolf bf stuff, but I went ahead and added it to my playlist of "listen to later" anyways. And then proceeded to forget about it and never touched it.

Couple days after that, I was hit with yet another Redacted recommendation! And this time around it was "a flirty vampire," so now I was like "jfc, why am I getting this stupid vampire and werewolf crap in my recommended??" Scrolled twice, came across another "nervous air elemental" audio and shrugged as I added it to my list, but then promptly forgot all about it yet again.

It was a month and a half. I was still getting this "Redcated ASMR" guy sprinkled generously throughout my recommendations on the youtubes, so I finally said "fuck it, what the hell is this dude all about." Took a gander through his playlists, rolled my eyes again at all the werewolves and vampires in his most popular audios and decided to still steer clear.

Then, as someone who was evidently a sucker (no pun intended) for a good injury comfort, I was suddenly struck with an offer I was admittedly hesitant to take: "Vampire Tends to Your Injuries." I saw it was by that same Redacted dude. Finally, I said "fuck it" and gave it a shot. And now, here I am; one year later stuck in this rabbit hole I don't think I will ever want to climb out of.

01. Agency vs. Freelance

Voice over artists typically work for an agency or work freelance. Freelancers can be sourced on websites like Fiverr and Freelancer.

Regardless of where you find a voice over artist, the first step is to ensure they are offering quality services. Their website or profile should have multiple example recordings available for you to listen to. These will demonstrate the range of tones and accents they offer.

Listen carefully to ensure they are using good quality recording equipment. If the quality is poor, it will also drag down the quality of the video it’s attached to.

02. Follow the Budget

The next consideration is your budget. Some voice over artists can charge a lot for their services, especially if they’ve been working for a long time and have put their voice to notable work. With this price comes a lot of experience, however, and professionalism.

To find the right artist for your budget, collect estimates from several sources before making your decision.

03. Pick a Tone

At Squideo, one of the first questions we ask a new client is “what tone do you want?” What this means is, do you want a video that’s corporate and formal? Something neutral and easily accessible? Maybe the tone should be energetic and friendly?

We’re narrowing down the search to find the perfect voice over for your animation, but there’s three more things to consider. Next up is the choice between a generic accent or a specific regional dialect.

If you’re targeting a large audience, a generic accent is usually the best call. For a UK video, this would be received pronunciation (RP) – also known as Queen’s English, BBC English or Oxford English. It is clear and commonly heard, making it likely that the majority of people will be able to understand the voice over without any issues.

Or perhaps you want something more distinctive? If you’re a local or regional company which delivers services to a niche market, you may want a voice over that reflects the accent of your customers.

05. Pick a Gender

The penultimate question is a little trickier. Gender.

For some videos, the gender of the voice over artist is interchangeable while in others the audience may respond better to one or the other. This will vary depending on your audience, so do your target research here.

A study by CXL in 2016 found that female voice overs were considered more “trustworthy” than male voice overs. In 2003 the Journal of Advertising also found that male targeted or gender-neutral products could use either a male or female voice over without any impact on the audience’s reaction. When it came to female targeted products, however, gender mattered much more and audiences preferred a female voice over.

There’s also the option to use both. If your video features dialogue between multiple characters, using female and male artists can help the audience differentiate who is speaking. Of course, this can drive up the costs!

06. Let the Company Speak

The final question is whether you want to hire a professional voice over artist at all. For B2Bs, using the voice of someone from your company can add a personal touch that customers will better connect to. However, this is not the easiest undertaking and can be costlier than hiring a professional.

Professional voice over artists supply their own recording equipment and are familiar with audio editing. Take into consideration that these are responsibilities you will have to take over. It’s important to use high quality recording equipment to ensure the recording is usable in the video. Anything of too low a quality might be rejected on hosting sites.

first off I hope you all have been doing well, I know it’s been a long time since I’ve last been here since roleplaying has essentially taken something of a backseat due to Life stuff; some of those things being

focusing on freelance work, makin them munnies

meeting the love of my life roughly 3 months ago exactly, she makes my heart explode, and I spend a lot of time with her as a result.

playing ff14 like a nerd and just about finished with max leveling every single battle class - as well as grinding the seal rock map for that hot coat, currently 77/100 right now 😩

posting to my personal blog a bit more often to showcase my work and thus make more money!!!! :3

All those reasons essentially leading up to me not logging in here to rp, because lemme tell ya - this half of the year has been wild, and I never expected myself to be in such a happy place both mentally and… honestly, literally. I’m thinking about making something of a quiet return here, though I got a lot of stuff to revamp / iron out still… mainly just yoinking some old muses I no longer really write out, potentially adding new ones, etc. etc. All depends on how I’m feelin’ once I’m less busy and have some extra time to spare. Nice to meet you all! Please just keep in mind that my Hazbin icons are pretty limited at the moment! A friend of mine ( who has her own rp blog, universe-abounds) has agreed to make them but she has her own job and freelance work along with her own life so new ones will be added gradually!

I am so tired of closed roleplays. Being forced to do this or that or be stuck in a closed environment. I miss the days of tumblr rp, when you could pick up a muse (au or not) throw an ad out there on tumblr and not have to join a collective to meet people. Would someone be interested in an actual freelance ad group? Au and nonau? I can’t be the only one who doesn’t want to join directories anymore.
