Special notes:

The album name “Saijiki (歳時記)” means “year-time chronicle” is the collection of Japanese words and phrases that associated with a particular season (kigo) which also used in many traditional forms of Japanese poetry.

If you recognize, both Yuuya and Saigo were born around the solstices, but with different seasons —Yuuya’s in summer (the day with the longest period of daylight) and Saigo’s in winter (the day with the longest period of nighttime), thus this becomes the idea of their duet’s name.

“Otsukimi” means “moon viewing” which refers to the Japanese tradition of holding parties to view the harvest moon in autumn. Actually, since Yuuya is still underage, those two adults are hanging out somewhere else with mochi and liquor.

Spot something that seems out of place? Hmm, that’s maybe not your imagination or is it~?

🍈 - I know it's not that relevant to be an unpopular opinion and many already think the same...I understand that many producers nowadays focus on Vocaloids like Fukase, Ia, Flower, Meikas and other voice banks like SynthV. But if they still make more popular Vocaloid songs today like Miku would be, I would like this opportunity to come up with Meiko, Kaito, Gakupo, Even Piko...Well, I understand that they got stuck in V2, V3 and V4 and are far from being updated by issues of their voice providers. But it doesn't take away from the fact that they are still versatile to use (as seen in the case of vocacovers creators) and recent producers don't use them anymore, with the exception of Hitoshizuku x Yama who still make songs with these tree firts mentioned Vocaloids (If there are producers who know about this case, let me know!)
