I'm jumping on the bandwagon. We need to know everything about Aemond's hair!

What's his haircare routine? Did it naturally become straight as he aged or does he straighten it every day? How many people does it take to brush it out?

More importantly: does he like it to be pulled? Does he even let his partners touch it or is it sacrosanct?

Alright, let's talk Targaryen tresses.

I'll set the scene...

You and Aemond are cinched into a passionate embrace, his lips locked with yours. Overcome with lust, you reach up a hand to card it through those long, silky, white locks. You pause, gasping, as the lace front comes away in your hand. You open your eyes, presented by the image of a smiling Ewan with a wig cap on his head. You fuck him anyway, 'cause even with what is essentially a pop sock on his bonce he is still hotter than 90% of men.

Look at this luscious head of hair. I think considering his mother and both of his siblings have curly hair and that Aemond had curly hair in his youth, it's safe to assume his hair is naturally curly too. In the gif above you can see a slight curl to the ends from the sweaty exertion of training. It also goes curly when he's atop Vhagar in the rain (please re-watch the scene where Vhagar chows down on Lucerys for reference).

Due to the length he chooses to keep it, it would look unruly as fuck if left to its own devices, so each morning Aemond will likely have a couple of servants attend to him and help him to brush it out and apply some sort of heat in order to keep it straight, before putting it up into his classic half up 'do. Baby girl is high maintenance. He doesn't wash his own hair either. He'll have servants to do that for him too, applying ointments that help to keep it clean and shiny and protect against the long term damage of years of straightening.

Aemond's sexual partners love to touch his hair. How could they not? I mean LOOK at it!

I don't think Aemond would like for you to be touching his hair under any old circumstances. It takes work for it to look this good and he doesn't want you ruffling his hair and potentially making him look anything less than pristine in front of others.

However, in private or when you are doing the do it's free real estate, baby! Aemond doesn't know he has a hair pulling kink until the first time you run your fingers through it and accidentally snag it with one of your rings. He'll moan like a bitch in heat and from that point onwards he is basically rutting into the mattress any time his head is between your thighs and you're pulling at his hair to get him closer to your cunt. Woof.

If you're married or in a long term relationship with Aemond he will allow you to do his battle braid for him.

sure!!!

The feral state can be triggered a variety of ways, the most common being stress, anxiety, and sickness. (Trauma, whether witnessed or something they directly experienced, can also cause it. As can injury, grief, etc.) It causes a person to regress to purely instinctual behavior.

The specific cause and location they're in when triggered deeply effects their behavior while in the feral state. Being somewhere familiar with people they trust will provoke a lot different behavior than being somewhere unfamiliar (or even perceived as dangerous) with strangers.

When interacting with someone who's feral, there are a few things you want to keep in mind: move slowly and obviously, telegraphing your movements; speak calmly and gently, avoid loud or sudden noises if you can; and keep a close nose your scent to make sure you're not accidentally making it worse. Oh, and most importantly, try not to take your eyes off the feral person.

If the person is somewhere they feel safe and/or with people they trust, mostly all they're going to want is to be in a nest surrounded by those people. Scenting and being scented, cuddling, etc. An alpha or beta might want to patrol the territory a little, to make sure there are no threats, but mostly, they just want to reassure themselves that everything and everyone is safe, that they are safe. (If there are any pups in the pack, it's a good idea to make sure they're brought over quickly! Same if the person is particularly attached to any pack member, like a mate or sibling or friend, etc.)

Anything more exact than that will vastly depend by person!

If they are not somewhere they feel safe, the priority is to make sure someone they trust can be called. If no one knows someone they trust, its possible for them to latch onto a particularly pleasing scent until emergency services can arrive. Then they can be taken somewhere they can den / nest up until they come out of the state.

Feral states can last a couple of hours or even several days. Packs may rotate who stays with the person so that they can keep going as normal, but small packs will have a harder time with this.

People who are feral may have a limited understanding of language, or none at all. However, they still respond to non-verbal cues---like growls, yips, whimpers, keens, purrs, etc. They also respond to scent and body language cues.

Those in a feral state are also much more likely to resort to violence if they perceive someone as an intruder or threat. Most will growl in warning, and it's best to heed that as quickly as possible!

They're also much more likely to get attached to random pups, if adults. (Or, again, just random people if their scent is pleasing enough! Although this is more common with pups and adolescents. If someone they trust isn't nearby, they may latch onto the nearest compatible scent & end up with an imprint bond.)

I’m putting off work, so here is me doodling some world building- in this world there are ‘artificial’ humans (‘arties’) who are basically any kind of human grown in a lab for commercial or military reasons: people with their genes spliced with other animals (cat people, shark hybrids, etc), clones, designer babies (a subset of clones), and super soldiers. All the rest, people who come from natural births, surrogacies, c-sections, etc… are colloquially called ‘organics’. The border between the two is very, very thin (and probably non-existent) but that’s how this society roughly categorises two main groups. However, because humans, artie or organic, like to, let’s say, form relationships, there’s a bunch of offspring between these two groups that aren’t considered from either side (even though, by all rights, they should be considered organics), and are called ‘ferals’.

Some of the feral cats I take care of. They live outside my apartment. The kitty in front is laying on two of the shelters I make for them.

He takes care of a group of kittens. The three behind him are part of the group. They follow him around and only do what he does. The mamas sometimes come by to eat, but the kittens stay with him and me. I call him Daddio. :)

Any headcanons about alphas submitting to omegas out of need not want. Like omegas who are so fear induced it causes anger and they become dangerous. How would that go? In what way do you think an alpha would submit, how could they make themselves small enough for an omega to calm down to allowing them near?

anyway!

hmm 🤔

first, speaking quietly, keeping their voice even and calm. slow movements. making sure the hands are visible, palms turned up so there's no worry about hidden weapons or claws. shoulders down; they don't necessarily have to bare their throat, especially if they're worried the omega might lunge, but trying to keep it covered could set the omega off as well.

some omegas would probably appreciate the alpha making themselves smaller, but that might make others more skittish (believing that the alpha is concealing something, or protecting something from someone else, or covering an injury). i think crouching / putting the omega on higher ground is probably universally appreciated, though?

removing any visible weapons, if that's a concern, lol.

advice on specifically making themselves smaller--crouching, hunching, curling in. maybe lying down? especially on their side, but going belly up, even if you can't curl up quite as much that way, is a very vulnerable position.

outside of that... offering up a jacket or blanket, something they can wrap up in, might be welcomed. (especially if there are a lot of scents nearby; having something to focus on might help a lot!) also: making whatever area they're in feel safer, giving them defenses or some nesting material---if they don't need to leave immediately, anyway.

some omegas may respond well to scents being uncovered, but others might actually appreciate them being blocked/muffled. (i read one fic where the omega didn't respond well to scents because their prior pack had used scent to manipulate them. and then in a lot of other fics u have omegas/other dynamics freaking out because without scent its harder to determine intention!)

a pack member could try Command---though that could also make things much, much worse

regardless of what methods are used, though, i imagine the process takes a bit. (except in rare exceptions, where maybe an omega might latch immediately onto a scent or voice?) it can go quicker if the alpha, or whoever is working with them, has been professionally trained, or if there's been trust built up between them/they're pack (though i assume it would have to be new pack? or pack had only just arrived on scene, for them not to latch on immediately). but! definitely a slow process that requires a lot of patience and calm and gentleness~
