The new banner is out so...
Wow! Never saw that it is the Valentia ( Alm) banner again ( with 1 heroes unit in the banner too) I'm still don't read all the weapon / skill but here my thought about it.
- Ascend Celica : I wasn't expected to see more Celica's alt I mean this Ascend alt of her. It's good design but is this mean the lords could be Ascend too? Hmm? I thought it was for another characters like the one who close to the lord or something like Joshua, Florina etc. Fjorm's is kinda weird case but many people said that she is the first legend so yeah, she might be the first to get it. Nevermind that, since I have a dream of Dragon! Roy so maybe he could be one with this ascend alt, right?
- Est : since her sisters are in this so this doesn't surpise me at all. She got cuter outfit once again, Nice!
- Kamui? I now know who is getting worse weapon ( cause it's doesn't like his prf so...) also too bad, since I kinda like his design but at least we are now have spd/def ideal and atk/def oath for the fodder.
- and the last Ymir : wow! SHE IS SO PEAK WITH THAT DESIGNS! The dragon form of her is sp beautiful too ; w ; and the surprise is SHE CAME OUT SO EARLY!!! that's nice! ( she kinda like my concept of dragon! Claude but more brillant!) Her skills is super COOL! drive miracle?!? Wow! I'm going to get her for sure! ( if I could....)
- Atlas : I don't even know him but glad that he also in the 3-4* pool and I wish his weapon is good ^ w ^ or at least, has good skills.
I heard that the GHB is going to be....WTF!?! BRIGAND BOSS?!?! Doesn't he like an NPC or something?!?! ( I know gatekeeper was also the NPC but at least he has more character than this...thing!) Nevermind if his skills are good or I will fodder him.
========
That's all guys! Hope you get what you wanted!

ao3 summary:
If Inuyasha had to describe how he fell in love with Kagome, it would be this: as though water had been dripping onto his parched skin slowly, droplet by droplet so that he couldn’t quite yet tell if he’d dreamt it, and then, suddenly, an endless, sweet downpour - a realization impossible to ignore.
or: inuyasha and the confusion that is Kagome Higurashi.
read on ao3!!
snippet:
.
.
He didn’t know what to think of her.
He tried, at first, to categorize her by feature. It would keep him from fostering any attachments, he thought. She had long, dark hair, strands flaying every which way. She wore strange clothes and smelt of a fragrant aroma he had yet to put a name on. She had fair skin, but when she ran for just a little bit her cheeks would flush the color of flower buds, and it would spread through her face when her lips split to smile up at him, breathless.
Feh, he would mutter. Hurry up, slow woman.
Her eyebrows would dip and she’d shoot something out at him, a verbal remark, stinging like a wasp. And, naturally, he would have no other choice but to respond with worse, until they were at each other’s necks and the redness in her cheeks had become a sort of fire burning through her veins. He would seize her wrist and she would tug harshly on one of his silver side-bangs and they fought until they swore they hated the other, then, in solitude, ached for the other’s company.
Though Inuyasha refused to admit something like that. He hadn’t ached for company since he had first been cast out into the forest, hadn’t quite ached for anything. Yearning was a privilege for those who had wishes in reach. He’d weaned himself on untrust. Ever since waking up at the base of that damned tree with an arrow still pulsing in his chest, he’d declared that would ever be led astray by hope again. Hoping was for humans, and there was never such a thing as half a hope.
And so it was inevitable that he wouldn’t understand this girl.
Kagome tucked her head into the slope of his neck and wrapped her arms around his shoulders like she’d done it all her life. She didn’t sleep with one eye open, like the villagers. Her fingers skirted over his claws without so much as a flinch. She smiled at him. He’d forgotten what that was like, to be smiled at without malice.
The villagers had their opinions of her, and they ebbed and flowed in tidal waves of gossip. Inuyasha heard them whether he wanted to or not: a spy, no, a deity. But she was too immodest to be a deity, what with the garments that hiked up in the wind and hardly covered the expanse of her thigh. Does she not know shame? Does she not value her sanctity? From where does she hail, that she would be so careless?
Inuyasha was beginning to think that it had less to do with where Kagome came from and more to do with Kagome herself. And, he thought she was far from careless. She cared more than any being ought to.
She cradled flowers gently, and devoured the night sky as though she’d never seen it before, and helped the villagers who would praise and scorn her in the same breath. She packed strange medicines from her time and took pains to bring everything she could; did her schoolwork under the lithe branches of the trees he slept in even when dirt soiled her books and ink stained her hands from nights spent writing. They would be riding in her pink, iron cart, and she would see a man hobbling down the road and simply insist that they stop everything and help him.
He looks so tired, she’d say, disregarding her own exhaustion. Just a second, okay?
Kagome would drag him off to help someone or another, and she would smile at his irked mumblings, somehow laughing at it all; a laugh that would echo into his dreams when the night was silent and thawing.
She made him feel like his existence wasn’t a tragedy. With her, he felt that there was something worth hoping for.
full thing!

You know, I liked the ending but I have a lot of criticism.
1. mahoro saying that ken is a gorilla that was disgusting.
2. Ichiya's illness doesn't make sense to me, it seemed like something superficial, this episode was done in a hurry.
3.arajin continued with the same desire, that was horrible, it seems like he didn't learn anything.
4. What is that shadow that Matakara carries, I honestly don't understand.
5. ichiya being forgotten in the end i like him so much.
things I wanted to have at the end.
1. a frank conversation between Senya and Ichiya, something deeper and that made sense.
2. arajin changed his desire.
3. mahoro had a better construction.
4. that Matakara had spoken to his brother in the hospital.
5. the complete story of the geniuses.
1. It is. Like I said, I didn’t catch on to that until the final episode where she not only called him that name but she and possibly the two Siguma grunts restrained him for no reason all just so that Marito could wake up (I mean there could be other methods of waking him up just saying)
2. Agreed. I thought it would’ve been better if they just leave it at him being jealous and inferior to Senya because it made more sense.
3. I always felt like Arajin crushing on girls felt like he is escaping from his past and thought it would’ve been better if in the finale in feh and Matakara made up, he dropped it completely.
4. Tbh, I don’t think the show ever expanded on the shadows that much. All we do know is that they target people with weak hearts but it is never explained what it is or how it came to be or why it even chose to haunt Matakara in the first place.
5. Yeah cuz as soon as the fighting between the djinns end and Ichiya got absorbed by Matakara just so the fighting between the two friends happen, I don’t think we even see or hear Ichiya delivering the final words before he and Senya leave to ascend to a higher plane.
6. Yeah, I do wish Senya and Ichiya do have a conversation about how the other felt but at the same time, Ichiya is like quite stubborn about it until he revealed it in the finale.
7. Arajin did change his desire in the beginning of him and Senya merging (‘I want to save Matakara’) but I sorta felt that they should’ve kept it when he got knocked out as shown when he tried to reach out for Matakara.
8. Very true. It is a disappointment with how Mahoro didn’t receive any kind of development whatsoever. You would think with her parallels with Matakara, she would’ve at least have a normal relationship with her brother and let herself be friends with the cast but nope. She’s still the same.
9. Eh I do wish someone else should’ve texted Matakara, prior to being haunted by the shadows and Ichiya corrupting him, that his brother is in the hospital and that he should dropped by to visit in some episode (I mean didn’t you guys have phones in earlier episodes?) but I can’t complain much since the after credits have Matakara visiting his brother in the hospital so there isn’t much to complain.
10. The genie lore was kind of weak to begin with IMO because right after Senya and Ichiya got shot with the flintlock guns that are supposedly where they’re kept, we don’t even know how did they even become genies in the first place or if the guns their assailant shot them with have anything magical in it.
Overall, as much as I enjoy BUCCHIGIRI?!, I don’t have much problem with the ending asides from a few issue (The Teacher being easily forgiven by the NNL Recepitonist despite stealing a cat from their property or how Akutaro got back into NG Boys still not having changed his desire for revenge) since it’s satisfactory to me but there quite a few things that could’ve benefitted from better execution and BUCCHIGIRI?! is one of them.

I know it hasn’t been mentioned in a long while, but Koei Tecmos work was pretty good in Samurai Remnant. The twist about the Protagonist was also really well done too. I know this doesn’t reveal much as it’s the same writers who worked on Houses/Hopes, but the main protagonist definitely makes a lot more consistency I feel since all two routes and endings are about Miyamoto Iori, with the last one being about his true nature. Still annoying waifu bait with a fox girl but Iori has zero interest.
I haven't played it, but I have no doubts KT can produce/make good games!
The thing with Nopes (and Fodlan in general) is how FE has traditional themes, and unification/imperialism isn't one of them, ditto with the "earl grey for everyone!" which means you can pick your leader and the games panders so hard to said leader that it forgets its plot.
Izuka is Izuka, Feral Ones aren't forgotten come FE10 because we follow Miccy and Miccy wants to liberate her country - Miccy says fuck to Izuka and his Feral Ones, period. End of the story (until Tibarn/Elincia/Ranulf gets to kill the guy).
Are those changes on KT's door? Given how IS, through Heroes, spinned a retconned Narrative to sell Vero - complete with "sad'n'lonely" and "surprise!brainwash" by a "sad'n'lonely" goddess, I... frankly, don't know.
Engage is a thing, where people take responsibility for the things they did when they were "brainwashed" no matter how "sad'n'lonely" they were (or are roasted for it) - and yet FEH gave us the monstruosity that was the last book, where a time-travelling sexy lady destroys the world because "reasons" compel her to do so, but she loves the player so much : that's the twist. FFS, at the end of the book, we don't even know what were those "reasons" that compelled her to destroy the world, or the snakes who pushed her to do it, the suppsoed "mastermind" was killed off-screen, and the most important thing at the end is how past present and future are merged to simp together after the avatar.
yay.
And yet, given how Fodlan plays and how Nintendo actually sent surveys to people who played FE16 something they never did (not for Engage!) before for the FE series (afaik) - I wonder who is to "blame" for Fodlan's writing, IS, KT, a mix of the two?
The lack of care (which becomes obvious when you compare FE16 to the precedent and following entry) isn't something IS has usually shown (I mean, Nopes' dev said he forgot parts of FE16 when he played the game ffs! No continuity guy in FE16?!?) - KT and IS's precendent collaboration was the first Warrior game, so why Nopes came out so... well, like it did?
If there is one definite thing I can complain and lay at KT's door though, it's the models (they're fucking ugly) and whoever decided to swap Rhea/Seiros's unique moveset (I mean have you seen her animations in FE16 when she's in her Saint class??) for a swordmaster on steroids.

The Gang Meets Kaidan
((T for violence, some blood and unpleasant death of unnamed evil guards))
Kaidan awoke still alive, much to his surprise. He'd hoped his captors had given up trying to squeeze blood from a stone and ended it already; he knew nothing, and they knew it. But even when the prison collapsed and most had vacated, a few Thalmor remained behind with him. They were desperate. Desperate for what, he didn't know.
A noise roused him from his thoughts. Whispers, and he thought he heard a chuckle, too.
“Let's see what our prospector here can do.” A dark voice crooned.
Kaidan felt sick, trying to brace himself for another “session.” Rarely did he ever have a moment to prepare.
Strange, though. Usually the guards spoke in Aldmeri unless they were addressing him. What games were they playing this time?
Another voice grunted, and he flinched as he heard the approaching footsteps. He chastised himself for displaying fear like that. He could hear two people now. One was speaking, the other one—a woman?
"Shhh!" she hissed at the others.
No, he thought. Not another woman interrogator. Not like last time... His whole body tensed. An anger filled his arms with a tiny spark of renewed strength.
Go ahead and come closer, he thought. See what happens.
The barred door swung open, and Kaidan dug his nails into his palms, not even looking up to see who had entered. The footsteps stopped. Then there was silence again, except for the sound of breathing.
"Ahem--"
Kaidan lunged at the visitor. “I'll kill you all myself!!”
To his small satisfaction, she stumbled backwards, smacking the stone floor. Good--about time they got acquainted with it for once.
The others snickered.
“Easy there, friend.” one of them spoke in a low voice, and a distinctly non-altmer accent. “We're getting you out of here.”
Kaidan glanced up at his visitors. It was hard to tell in the dark, but he couldn't see any Thalmor robes. That accent, if anything, was closer to Lleyawin. He had never wandered into Elseweyr or Black Marsh, though. But then again, both were under Dominion rule and he wasn't about to forget it.
“Really, now?” He muttered hoarsely.
The one who had approached him sat on the floor, hooded and cast in shadow. She scoffed.
“Really,” a woman near the back of the group reassured him, then chuckled at the other woman on the floor. “C'mon Enid. We'll make sure he won't bite.”
“Feh!” The woman on the floor scrambled to her knees. She slowly approached him, holding up her hands to the lock. “You'd better not,” she growled in Nordic, but he couldn't quite distinguish the accent.
Kaidan froze, unsure if he was surrendering to a fleeting hope that this wasn't some sick Thalmor ploy.
A light erupted from her hands--pale and cold. An all-too-familiar light, as Kaidan's body reacted of its own accord. Thrashing, screaming, kicking, cursing. He bashed his head into hers before she could even react.
Enid crashed back on the floor, and her magelight extinguished. "By the mists!!” She spat.
Kaidan's heart was still hammering as he tried to gain control of his breath.
“Had a time with mages, haven't you?” one of the group commented.
“I'm done!” Enid hissed from the floor, holding her forehead. “He don't like magic? T'row him a lockpick, he can open t'ose locks with his godsdamned feet!”
“Oh, but Prospector, we're dying to see your alteration in action!” the woman from the back said.
“Well, seems he isn't!” Enid thrust a finger at Kaidan.
Kaidan, still catching his breath, searched for her eyes--something he could try to read off of her, but finding no more than the sharp tip of her nose poking from that hood.
“S-sorry...” he managed, feeling humiliated and weak. “Just...a warning, please.”
“Fine, here goes...” she growled. With a snap of a finger, her magelight ignited once more, illuminating her face under the hood. It was a thin, pale face, with tiny pupils and pressed lips. A few curls poked out of a white cap, but there was nothing else to soften her exasperated gaze, nor the angry red lump growing on her forehead.
“So I can see what I'm doing, alright?” She arched her eyebrows and wiggled her fingers around the light. “The rest is just feeling the lock and moving the parts. Shouldn't hurt unless you're made out of brass.”
Kaidan swallowed and nodded, bracing to tolerate any phobias and condescending remarks if it meant seeing daylight again.
She gingerly scooted back up to him, narrowing her eyes at his tensing muscles. Kaidan tried forcing himself to relax with a shuddering sigh.
She leaned over his shoulder and hovered her hand over his left shackle. He could smell the familiar scent of travel--pine, sweat, and a hint of smoke. It stirred a renewed longing for that long-forgotten freedom--freedom which was strangely so close now. He tried not to think of how he must have smelled to her.
Enid hmmed and clicked her tongue, massaging the lock. He glanced over her shoulder at the rest of the group, a couple of which were still snickering.
Kaidan wasn't all too sure about them--four total: A barely leather-clad Nord woman, a small man drowning in furs, someone covered head to toe in Dunmer armor, and what looked to be a blue Khajiit--must've been the dim light playing tricks on his mind--in threadbare hunter's gear.
“Sorry,” the small man in the furs quipped in a high voice. “We're laughing at her, not you.”
“Why?” Kaidan furrowed his brow.
“SHH!” Enid shushed none-too-politely.
The man shrugged at Kaidan.
She resumed her work on Kaidan's shackles, muttering and huffing. Minutes dripped by painfully, with this woman awkwardly bent around him and his filth, with an amused audience. And as far as he could tell, there was no progress.
“Um,” he gingerly turned his head. “Is everyth--?”
She shot him a look that silenced him.
With renewed focus on his shackle, she leaned in closer. “C'mon, c'mon...” she growled, again in Nordic.
He felt a click in the metal.
Kaidan didn't wait for her help to wiggle his wrist from the chafing iron band. Enid swiveled her waist to face their audience.
“Ta-da.” She said flatly, flourishing her hands at them.
“Nice, very nice,” the dunmer sighed. “I'm sure our client will find you valuable.”
“Hmpf,” she turned back to Kaidan, rolling her eyes, and scooted to his other shackle. She was able to free that one a bit faster this time.
“Thank you,” Kaidan sighed, rubbing his chapped wrists.
She replied with a grunt, rocking back on her feet and dusting off her aproned skirt.
“And I'm sorry...” He switched his speech to Nordic.
“Hm?” her head snapped down at him.
Kaidan awkwardly pointed to his forehead. Hers would certainly carry that mark for a few days.
“Oh, t'at.” She frowned, touching her bump. She spoke more quickly and confidently in Nordic, yet he still couldn't pinpoint her accent. “Well, just don't do it again.”
Kaidan chucked for the first time in what felt like an impossibly long time. “Deal.”
The nord woman led the group into the cell and they quickly circled around. “Name's Sofia,” she crooned with a wink.
Kaidan grimaced, unable to recall when he had last had the chance to bathe. “Kaidan,” he nodded.
He flinched at a finger tap to his shoulder. “And I'm Lucien! Pleased to meet ya!” the imperial man chirped.
“Not to interrupt the niceties, but we oughtta move,” the dunmer muttered. “I imagine there might be a stray guard or two.”
“Wait,” Kaidan wobbled on his knees, trying to find the strength to stand. “I know I owe you, and I don't have the right to ask, but they have my sword. I'd like to get it back.”
Enid pressed her lips. “No time.”
“Look,” Kaidan stumbled to his feet, feeling the prison spinning. He grabbed onto the stone wall. “It's not just sentimental. They were after my sword. If it's that important, we don't want the Thalmor having it, right?”
“It's not our job fighting T'almor.” She unlatched a water bottle from her hip, tossing it to Kaidan.
“Oh, prospector!” Lucien piped up again. “Let the poor chap get his sword back!”
“We just got our asses handed to us in those dwemer ruins.” The dunmer grumbled. “Even if I disagreed with the prospector here, we're in no shape to fight Thalmor agents.”
“Speak for yourself, Teldryn!” Sofia grinned, cracking her neck and unsheathing an axe. “At least these so-called high elves are nice and squishy!”
“Squishy, you say!” The khajiit chuckled. “I'm in!”
“Looks like you two are out-voted.” Lucien shrugged at Teldryn, who scoffed. Enid groaned.
“Thanks,” Kaidan croaked before taking a long draft from the waterbottle. “I owe all of you.”
They snuck on through the other side of the cell, Enid at the lead after casting a couple unknown spells. She moved silently, with the khajiit and dunmer close behind, bow and shortsword drawn respectively. Kaidan and Sofia filed right behind them, with the small imperial tailing the group.
“Down that hall,” Kaidan whispered. Up ahead, Enid rounded the first corner of the hallway.
One by one, they followed around the corner. Enid crouched near the next corner, holding up a finger.
Damn, already spotted a guard, it seemed.
“Oh, just one,” Sofia chuckled. “Inigo's a great shot--one hit to the throat and they won't make a--”
“AUGH!” Enid yelped, stumbling and landing on her rump. Something small and fuzzy retreated from her ankle, and Kaidan thought he spied--a porcupine!? He blinked, but his eyes didn't deceive him. The rodent turned back to stand on its hind legs and stare at her.
“Is someone there?” The guard's voice called.
“FUCK!” she hissed, looking down at her white stockings now impaled with several quills.
Enid scowled at the porcupine. Raising her hands, she cast some spell, spinning the creature around. With a squeal, about a dozen quills yanked themselves free from its back, flying to the prospector before hovering around her casting hands.
The guard rounded the corner, right on her now.
She ducked backward, swooping her hands to direct the quills straight into his face.
The guard howled, clutching his face as blood dripped down his cheeks.
Sofia wasted no time jumping past the others and cleaving his head with her axe.
Enid collapsed to the floor, nursing her leg and scowling at the retreating porcupine. “T'at does it! I oughtta pluck and roast you!”
“Aww, he loves you, Prospector! He's been following you all the way from Lake Ilinalta, hasn't he?” Lucien squatted next to the porcupine, who snorted at him and turned its back. “Looked like he was trying to get a good snuggle.”
“Well, maybe it can go love on someone else,” Enid furrowed her brow, gingerly pinching one of the quills and wincing. “Been a literal t'orn in my side...”
With a wet squelch, Sofia extracted her axe from the twitching thalmor guard. “That was alright, hope there's more!”
“No, I get the next one!” Inigo hissed. Under the torchlight of the prison hallway, his fur was indeed blue. Sofia didn't respond, unashamedly pulling out the guard's pockets.
"Damn, just a couple septims,” she tsked.
“F-f-fu....” Enid's hands twitched at the quills, not quite able to steel herself to grab them.
Teldryn sighed, squatting down and yanking them all at once with a flick of the arm.
A pained grunt erupted through her clenched teeth. “That dumb animal...”
“Let's move.” Teldryn had already hopped back to his feet and peered around the corner.
“Sure,” Enid grunted. “Inigo, go ahead.” She nodded at the Khajiit.
As they proceeded, she was content to limp in the back of the group alongside Lucien.
Teldryn moved like liquid. The halls flickered as they moved further into the offices, but no sign of life.
“Hm,” he said, glancing at the room at the end, with the door left ajar. “Seems to be the storage room. Perhaps--”
Kaidan felt a wetness on his bare feet, nearly slipping. Far more slick than water.
Oil.
“WAIT!!” Kaidan called out in horror, but already a lantern plummeted from the ceiling.
Teldryn shoved Sofia and Inigo forward, and Kaidan stumbled back into Enid and Lucien as the lantern crashed onto the floor and an inferno engulfed the dunmer.
“Amateurs!” Teldryn spat, unfased by the blanket of flames..
“Teldryn! Catch!” Inigo tossed a guard at Teldryn who, still on fire, held his foe in a scorching headlock. The guard screamed, and Enid and Lucien recoiled in disgust at this rather drawn-out and gruesome death.
As for Kaidan, well, he didn't wish it on his worst enemy, yet he couldn't find pity in his heart for any thalmor.
Lucien stared wide-eyed at the charred remains Teldryn dropped to the floor as the last of the fire went out. “Was that really necessary?”
“He tried doing the same to us, didn't he? Or she. I didn't get a great look.”
Enid limped around the group and the guard to glance into the room. “Is this it?”
Kaidan followed her in. There was little but a chest labeled “Evidence.”
“Must be,” he said, kneeling before the chest and opening it. He couldn't remember the last time a smile found his face, but he was now beaming at his old armor. “Ey, old friend,” he muttered, touching the glassy steel.
“Awwhh, does he have to cover up?” Sofia whined as Kaidan donned his armor. Kaidan stopped and stared at her for a moment, and the rest of the team collectively rolled their eyes.
And right below his armor, his sword.
“Thank you,” he addressed the team as he latched it to his belt. “I owe you my life.” He addressed Enid, who frowned. “All of you,” he looked around the group. The others smiled. Except maybe Teldryn, but under that chitin helment, he gave a solemn nod.
“Well, if you're not too busy, you should stick with us.” Sofia winked. “We could always use another strong healthy man on our team.”
Enid shot her a look that could send a dremora back to the deadlands.
Teldryn shrugged. “We're not splitting our profit six ways, but if he doesn't mind--”
“What profit??” Enid scoffed.
Lucien didn't wait for a vote or even an agreement from Kaidan. He simply grabbed his hand and shook it vigorously. “Welcome aboard!”

Day 30 of Flooftober! The home stretch. I'll do the last one tomorrow because there's 16 characters and no such thing is the 32nd of October I think. I could've just left Floofty out of the potential characters for them to talk to, but that's no fun. Anyway, this one has Cromdo, and the the prompts are Ketchup/Ranch/Cheese/Hot/Chocolate. So sauces, basically. But I did name them all in the story.
(Prompt list)
Title: Focus on major safety concerns Summary: Cromdo asks Floofty for help with a new business venture. (Also on AO3)
.
"So, how much you charging for this?" said Cromdo.
"Oh?" said Floofty, who hadn't even considered money. Their PhD stipend wasn't much, but it was at least a steady income for the foreseeable future, something Cromdo still lacked. "No charge. Consider it a gift."
Cromdo waved his arms. "Whoa whoa whoa. I ain't going down that road again."
"The road of… cost reduction?" said Floofty, confused. Didn't Cromdo like money? That was just about all they would've been able to say about him in the past
"If I start taking 'gifts'," Cromdo made quotation fingers with both paws, "then suddenly they turn into 'I did so much for you, Cromdo, when're you doing something for me? We gotta square things up!' Feh! Let's figure all that out up front, huh? I'm giving Wambus a fair deal for his sauces, and I'm gonna give you a fair deal to tell me what's in 'em."
"Why would I…?" Floofty began, then sighed. Clearly they weren't the only Grumpus who didn't understand other people. "If you are so intent upon giving me money, I suppose I can accept. I will calculate a fair rate, and communicate to you it by the end of the day." Besides, if they didn't go along with Cromdo's confusing demand, he might change his mind about wanting their help.
"Great!" said Cromdo. "Pleasure doing business. Just you watch: Sauce cocktails are gonna be the next big thing! Cheese that never curdles? Liquid peanut butter? Ranch… Eh, I'll think of something for ranch."
"Will you be requiring an analysis of all known sauces?" said Floofty, curious. They didn't drink themself. They didn't see the appeal in deliberately making themself stupider. But mixed drink design was something they'd never really thought about before. It probably involved some level of skill. A lot of things did, they'd been learning. "Chocolate, ketchup, hot sauce?" Were there spicy cocktails? If so, why? Chocolate they could sort of see the appeal of.
"You kiddin'?" said Cromdo. "They're gonna be my go-tos! A little ketchup, a little hot sauce, and you're halfway to a Snaktooth Bloody Mewry! Uh, once you give the all clear."
"I must say, I hope I do," said Floofty. Would hot sauce really work in a Bloody Mewry, or any kind of mixed drink? Not that they were going to show their ignorance and ask.

25. BATHING for MagRoi for the Soft OTP Prompts!! FEH
25. Write about your ship bathing or swimming together + Magroi
“When’d you get this one.”
A calloused finger drags up her spine causing her back to arch, the water of the too small tub shifting as she did. The same finger began to trace the intricate curves of her tattoo, a simplistic rendering of the solar system in white ink. When had she’d gotten it? Thanks to Salacia, portions of her life were still cast in shadow. Her brow furrows as she instinctively waits to feel the sting that followed when the monster’s name came to mind. A reminder of talons that remained despite her desertion of the tribunal.
“Wait no. No, I remember this one.”
The pain never comes, not thanks to Magnus who she finally allows to pull her from her thoughts. She leans back, the guitarist’s chest hair scratching against her back as she presses against him.
“Yeah. Yeah, you had me hold your hand.” A snort escapes her.
“That’s not true.”
“Yeah you were crying like a baby, remember?”
That damned smirk.
Twenty something years after the first time she saw it spread across his lips and still it sent her stomach a flutter.
She watches said smirk morph into a grin before his lips press against her cheek and then her temple. She shivers slightly when she feels his hands caress beneath her breasts, fingers gently squeezing the soft flesh before tracing the design of this tattoo, the phases of the moon, from memory.

Lost in a Labyrinth: Part 2
Tumblr media
So, why exactly did you show up here again?
Tumblr media
Figured you could use a bit of extra help. Guess I figured right.

With all due respect, I think we had things well under control.
Tumblr media
Yes, and that's why your friend went flying down a train track and why you ended up in the garbage. Very well under control.
Tumblr media
She's got a point.
Tumblr media
Ok, so things didn't exactly work out in our favor. Just a little bit of bad luck.
Tumblr media
I have no real sympathy. You're the one who turned your back on the Future Foundation to come here on your own. You should have seen this coming.
*Hiro raises his head.
Tumblr media
I'm sorry, what? Makoto did what?
Tumblr media
I...
Tumblr media
Never mind...Try to stay alive and maybe I'll tell you. Unless he decides to man up and tell you himself.
Tumblr media
Actually, he doesn't need to. Something's not been sitting right about any of this since the start.
Tumblr media
Huh? Wh-What're you talking about?
*Fuyuhiko sighs and rounds on Makoto.
Tumblr media
Makoto...the Future Foundation isn't coming, are they?
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
Wh-What!? You mean...you came on your own!?
Tumblr media
They're...not close behind...I'll say that much.
Tumblr media
Tch...I knew it...Dammit, what the hell happened to you-!
Tumblr media
Ok, seriously? I don't have the time OR the patience to put up with this BULLSHIT...SHUT. UP.
Tumblr media
!!?
Tumblr media
...I don't regret my actions. Even if they're not the most appropriate, can't you just accept that I'm doing what I think is best for everyone? Less people get hurt if we fight in less numbers. I'm just trying to protect my friends.
Tumblr media
By pushing them away? Are THEY really the one's you're protecting? And if so, what exactly are you protecting them from?
Tumblr media
You know...if you guys were going to treat him like this, we might as well have left you to rot here. No matter what the motive, we're here trying to HELP you.
Tumblr media
Boss is just doing what he thinks is best for everyone.
Tumblr media
Best for everyone? Or best for himself?
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
...Never mind...I'm antagonizing you for little reason at this point.
Tumblr media
What follows? You saying Mukuro will be disappointed in me?
Tumblr media
...Sounds like you've been through this before...
*Whitecloak turns around.
Tumblr media
Come now everyone. This is not the time for any infighting or judgement. We're in a tough situation, and we can only survive by sticking together.
Tumblr media
Feh...Great. Sounds like the Killing Game all over again...

Since I've been thinking about fe12 recently naturally I started thinking about my favorite fe12 character Katarina (she's like... my 4th favorite for fe overall, but since Grima/Robin and Chrom are number 1 and 2 and SO far ahead of everyone else that it's kind of unfair, she's basically second place when it comes to characters who have NOT infected me with constant and irremediable brainrot).
Specifically I'm thinking about how the scene she has with Marth when she joins and how if she had her way she would have had Marth execute her, but...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"You're just running from your sins." MARTH GO OFF!!!
Tumblr media
"If you truly regret what you've done, then live. I want you to atone with your life, not your death." YES MARTH DESTROY THE REDEMPTION IN DEATH TROPE!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look, Marth might not be my most beloved fe protagonist of all time, but he gets MAJOR points for this conversation ALONE. And honestly it is all the more tragic how his descendants get so caught up in the cycle of violence and vengeance when Marth already understood that justice does not mean killing everyone who has done you wrong. Oh BOY did the exalted line ever lose the plot there.
I know Lucina is the one who gets compared to Marth most, and Tiki even says that Chrom is more similar to one of Marth's ancestors than Marth himself, but honestly Chrom's "You are yourself, before you are any man's son/daughter." really does echo "You will think for yourself and find your own answer." I think Marth would be really proud of him for that response to finding out his best friend is the child of someone who came to assassinate his sister.
And, haha, speaking of Grima brainrot...
I REALLY WISH CHROM HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SAY SOMETHING LIKE THIS TO ROBIN, YOU KNOW???
Ugh, Robin my beloved. I want to freeze time, like, right here
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, not necessarily here. This is... fair enough for a heroic sacrifice...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Uh-huh, this tracks...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There! Can we freeze right there? Robin what the FUCK are you saying? These two lines why I can never be at peace with the sacrifice ending no matter how you frame the narrative. "It's only right" that Robin dies with Grima??? No. No!
See, if it weren't for that specific line, we could just accept that Robin is doing something they don't really want to do and that they know will hurt people because they truly believe it's the only way to truly protect the future, but... no. When they say "It's only right we meet our end together." it becomes something else. Is this REALLY the only way to protect the people of the future (Chrom doesn't think it is. The rest of the Shepherds don't think it is either, which you can see from their lines if you choose to let Chrom land the final blow) or are you just trying to run from your past life, Robin? To escape the weight of what you've done and what you see now that you're capable of doing all over again? Is there anything heroic or even "sacrificial" if saving the world is just the convenient excuse for getting rid of yourself?
Chrom would agree with Marth's feelings. He would say "If you truly regret what you've done, then live." But he CAN'T because Robin did not reveal this extremely distressing line of thinking until the absolute last second before landing the final blow on Grima and ensuring their own death. Of course Chrom would never speak a word against Robin after that. Frankly, I think he was kind of robbed. (And kind of on purpose... When you think about it, is there really THAT much difference between Grima trying to make Robin look like a tragic hero by offering that yes/no choice to submit to them vs Robin becoming a tragic hero by "sacrificing" themself at the end of a grand final battle?)
Anyway, I would absolutely love to see a Robin/Katarina harmonic in FEH someday... I think if that ever happened, Katarina would probably say something about Robin reminding her of Kris (because Avatars) but really, Robin is so much like her that I'd just love to see them talk to each other about literally anything.
(Also, on a slightly tangential note... I know that in canon, Robin strikes Chrom with Thoron at the Dragon's Table, but I feel like as a fandom we are really missing out by not taking some artistic liberties and making it Katarina's Bolt instead. I mean. The SYMBOLISM. Especially when it comes to good timeline Robin, who might think to bring that tome to the Dragon's Table instead of Thoron because it has lower might.)

In a distressingly rare moment of clarity, I acted before rationalization could settle in and have deleted Masters from my phone.
I feel this decision may seem sudden, but it’s been bubbling for a while. Since anniversary, actually. EX Roles were shitty. It was a bad, frustrating implementation of an unnecessary system. Having it be with Kantrio did not help at all. Even with additions like Halloween Roxanne or my favorite mythical in Meloetta dropping, I get a short burst of enjoyment and then hit a wall. What’s being added just isn’t keeping a hold on me.
A big part of it is gameplay. Having given a legitimate, maximum effort try at Gauntlet, and still come up just shy of top 100, I find myself uninterested in pushing further. The Grass High Score event went comparably. While I had several missing tools on that front, the fact is I barely broke top 200 despite what felt like a very strong showing. Could I make better with Psychic, knowing I have every tool? Probably not, actually. They’re not all EX, SS Steven is only 1/5, and I don’t feel like putting in the resources. So I don’t know what I’d realistically be aiming for. Villa’s dead, and the new mode demands resources just to play. Lodge was never interesting as a game mode, but I’m getting tired of managing it every day.
But at the top of this growing list of disengagement is Champion Stadium. The 3k meta is absolutely miserable for off-type when dealing with modern regions. I tried to do something fun, a clear of each stage with one form of Cynthia, and I couldn’t do it. My 5/5 base Cynthia was not able to handle any of those stages. At the point a max invested pair cannot, through any attempted means, seem to net a clear, I feel like we’re hitting walls that are no longer fun to scale. But on the reverse side, playing to on-type means first try blitzing every stage, completing the whole event in like 10 minutes. Which is not fun either. So if the other modes are stale and not worth the effort, and the main fun mode has lost its fun because on type is too easy and off type too restrictive…what’s left?
The answer I came up with is “nothing.” I have been here before with FEH, when the entire game no longer feels fun, and every start of the new week is met with the grumble of obligation rather than excitement to have something to do. I’ve even stopped caring about a lot of what’s released; Iono is not a particularly low tier favorite from Paldea, and I don’t have her superior in NC Blue, yet skipping her was incredibly easy. I just don’t feel any draw to the game.
I won’t pretend there is no chance of me coming back. Half Anni is in another month, and it’s possible we get Volo. With a sufficient favorite, I could return. But I’m giving up hoping for Caitlin. We haven’t seen a Cynthia or Lillie in ages. Jasmine’s most recent scraps were being treated worse than a BP pair that’s a year old. Hell, even if they do a Volo release, there’s good odds he gets the Rose treatment. I let it slide before because Rose sucks so who cares, but pulling that with an actually good antagonist would be unforgivable.
For anyone who reads them, sorry but there won’t be any post-datamine stuff, nor any teambuilding guides this month. I’m sitting this one out. And depending on how that goes, maybe dropping it altogether.

Never Forget Me
Thank you for the support and the boundless patience, @authordgaster!! ;_;) Really, sorry for the wait and thank you so much!!
This is a Support Chain C-S between Young Azura and Fallen M!Morgan from FEH. Seeing as this is a pre-amnesia Morgan, he's probably around her age~
Commission info HERE and HERE!
__________________________
C SUPPORT
Young Azura: Um…
Fallen M!Morgan: What?
Young Azura: Um… I’m Azura. Kiran said to support you from now on…
Fallen M!Morgan: …
Fallen M!Morgan: Ah, I remember now. They did say something about allowing me to use my full potential, but I can’t see how a little girl like you can help. If only Master Grima was around, I could…
Young Azura: I-I don’t know either, but… I can try singing if you want.
Fallen M!Morgan: I won’t need your help in the future, but I suppose I should play along with the Summoner until I can reunite with my master.
Young Azura: So… Um…
Fallen M!Morgan: *sighs* Try not to fall behind, we’re leaving.
Young Azura: O-okay!
Fallen M!Morgan: …
Young Azura: …
Fallen M!Morgan: …
Young Azura: …
Fallen M!Morgan: That’s it?
Young Azura: H-huh?
Fallen M!Morgan: You’re not gonna preach how teamwork is an essential part of any strategy or whatever everyone keeps saying around these parts?
Young Azura: O-oh, should I have? I’m not… I’m not good with words, or people, or…
Fallen M!Morgan: Right.
Young Azura: Um… I’m sorry I upset you.
Young Azura: *mumbles* Please don’t beat me…
Fallen M!Morgan: What was that?
Fallen M!Morgan: … No. Nevermind.
Fallen M!Morgan: You don’t need to apologize to me. I don’t expect anything of you.
Young Azura: O-okay. Thank you.
Fallen M!Morgan: …
B SUPPORT
Fallen M!Morgan: *huff huff* That was close… Too close.
Fallen M!Morgan: They… they were all summoned here, too. I can’t let my guard down. Not even a little.
Young Azura: Um… Morgan?
Fallen M!Morgan: Ack! *swoosh*
Young Azura: Kya!
Fallen M!Morgan: Whoa, sorry! Are you alright? Don’t sneak up on me or I’ll blow up some magic in reflex.
Young Azura: I-it’s okay. I’m sorry I scared you. Um- I mean, thank you for lifting me up…
Fallen M!Morgan: I- yeah. Sure. I did that. I did… Ugh.
Young Azura: Are… are you alright? You’ve been trembling since before. Does your head hurt? Did someone hurt you?
Fallen M!Morgan: No. Stop talking. Please stop talking! I’m alright!! I’m not- I’m not wavering.
Young Azura: *gasp* I-I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to upset you.
Fallen M!Morgan: *sighs*
Fallen M!Morgan: *breathes in* Fwoooo… Hold it, hold it… hahhhh *breathes out*
Young Azura: …
Fallen M!Morgan: What… are you doing? That’s my hand.
Young Azura: Um, whenever I’m feeling sad, I always imagine someone holding my hand like this to help me calm down. Should… Should I stop? You looked so sad I thought you needed it…
Fallen M!Morgan: …
Fallen M!Morgan: No, you don’t need to stop.
Fallen M!Morgan: … Th- ugh… than…
Fallen M!Morgan: Ughhh… *scratch scratch*
Fallen M!Morgan: Thanks.
Young Azura: Mhm!
Young Azura: Did it help?
Fallen M!Morgan: It… did.
Young Azura: I’m glad. I’ve always wanted a big brother or sister to hold my hand and tell me everything would be okay.
Fallen M!Morgan: I’m not your brother, though.
Young Azura, blushing: I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to assume-
Fallen M!Morgan: But I can hold your hand when you’re sad if you want.
Fallen M!Morgan: You know. As retribution.
Young Azura: … Mhm… Mhm, thank you… *sniff*
Fallen M!Morgan: …
Young Azura: *sniff* Thank you… Only Kiran has ever been nice to me, so I’m still not used to people not… hurting me.
Fallen M!Morgan: (I almost hit her with that magic earlier, and she still considers me a ‘nice’ person. Have I slipped that far…?)
Fallen M!Morgan: Sure.
Young Azura, smiling: Mhm…!
A SUPPORT
Young Azura: Morgan…!
Fallen M!Morgan: Ugh… Don’t yell, my head hurts.
Young Azura: I-I’m sorry… B-but why did you do that?
Fallen M!Morgan: …
Young Azura: Why did you jump in front of me and take that blow? You were so hurt because of someone like me… Why? Why hurt yourself for me? Isn’t pain the worst thing? Why for me? Why…
Fallen M!Morgan: You’re rather talkative today, aren’t you?
Young Azura: Hup! B-but…
Fallen M!Morgan: No particular reason, really. You were there. So was I. My body just moved on its own.
Young Azura: But you always avoid everyone… And I’m used to pain, so…
Fallen M!Morgan: It’s…
Fallen M!Morgan: It’s because of… that. I- Ever since meeting you, I felt my control slip… I’ve been trying so hard, so, so hard to be someone my master would be proud of. Like… Like she was back then.
Young Azura: Eh…?
Fallen M!Morgan: The kind, warm mother I barely remember anymore… the sunny smile and warm head pats she’d give us when we were kids, I- I don’t even remember how her voice sounded anymore.
Young Azura: Morgan, you’re cryin-
Fallen M!Morgan: Ever since meeting you, I noticed how easy it is to just go back to normal if my master is not around. I need her to come to Askr quickly to set me back straight, but also… I also want to stay this way a little bit more. I want to protect you and hold your hand and say ‘thank you’ and apologize like it’s normal…
Young Azura: *sniff* F-for me? But your master is everything for you… but still, for me, you would…?
Fallen M!Morgan: She was. She is. She always will be. I can’t live a life without her, and I’ll follow her through the fires of hell if she wishes me to.
Fallen M!Morgan: But… But for now, this is okay.
Fallen M!Morgan: So don’t cry anymore about this, alright? I did it ‘cause I wanted to.
Young Azura: *sniff* I… Thank you, Morgan. I’m… I’m really happy. But please, don’t get hurt… I don’t want to see you hurt like that ever again…
Fallen M!Morgan: I can’t promise anything. For now let’s leave it at that, alright?
S SUPPORT
Fallen M!Morgan: Azura.
Young Azura: Morgan! Hi. It’s not often that you look for me… this makes me happy.
Fallen M!Morgan, blushing: Uh, okay.
Fallen M!Morgan: Ahem. Anyway. I came here to give you this.
Young Azura: A little branch of flowers? It’s so tiny and cute! It’s glowing a bit inside the petals…
Fallen M!Morgan: They’re called forget-me-nots in my world. Curious that they were growing around here, too, but I digress… I put a bit of magic in it so it wouldn’t wilt no matter how much time passes.
Young Azura: Oh… so it’s precious, then. A-are you sure you’re okay giving it to me?
Fallen M!Morgan: Heh, you’re holding it so tightly and still saying that?
Young Azura, blushing: I-I’m…!
Fallen M!Morgan: Just lightening the mood. Hah, to think that a day would come when I could say that…
Young Azura: Um, Morgan…? You look serious all of a sudden.
Fallen M!Morgan: You remember what I said last time, right? That I wanted to protect you and stay by your side… But that can’t go on forever.
Young Azura: … Eh?
Fallen M!Morgan: One day, Master Grima will arrive and I’ll return to her side. I must. I have to. It’s my life’s duty.
Fallen M!Morgan: Besides, even after that, the Order of Heroes here will disband someday. We’re not gonna be here in Askr forever.
Young Azura: B-but… But if you’re not with me, then… If Kiran or everyone else who has been so kind to me is not with me anymore then… Then I’ll go back to being alone. I… I don’t want to be alone anymore.. I-
Fallen M!Morgan: Shh, hey… I’m still talking. It’s okay, don’t cry.
Young Azura: My hand… Thank you… I’m- I’m alright now. I’m sorry.
Fallen M!Morgan: We WILL go our separate ways one day. I’ll go with my mother- ah… I mean, Master Grima, and you’ll return to Hoshido-
Young Azura: Hoshido? B-but I’m from Nohr-
Fallen M!Morgan: Nevermind that. You’ll return to your world and I’ll return to mine. But one day… one day, after accomplishing everything my master wants… One day, I… I want to go look for you. I want to find you again.
Young Azura: …! Morgan…
Fallen M!Morgan: We’ll go our separate ways now, but.. But in the future, no matter how long it takes… I want to look for you. This you, not any other Azura that I might’ve seen around.
Young Azura: But… but how? Only Kiran can summon us…
Fallen M!Morgan: I don’t know how yet. I just… I don’t want to NOT see you again. So, uh, promise me you’ll keep this flower with you? Always?
Young Azura: The flower…?
Fallen M!Morgan: That way, I’ll know it’s the real you I’ve been looking for. I don’t know how that will take, but…
Young Azura: I will!
Fallen M!Morgan: Azura…
Young Azura: I will! I promise! I’ll never let go of this, ever. No matter where I go or what awaits me back home, I… I’ll always remember you, Morgan. I’ll hold onto this flower and remember you and wait for you. I promise…
Fallen M!Morgan: Thanks. Thank you, really. I’ll definitely, definitely find you, no matter what.Young Azura: Mhm, I’ll be waiting! With this… always, with this.

Sorry if you aren't taking these anymore, but what do you think of 'kanasebench'? The Nifl Julia art looks pretty, but it feels like a whiplash to see it compared to some of the other art?
(I don't actually have FEH pass, but I got Nifl Julia on the Binding World thing, and it startled me)
Oh trust me, I will ALWAYS take a FEH artist ask. It's so much fun to talk about these artists and what makes their art appealing (or not appealing depending on who the artist is and their work, lol).
And I'm actually really glad you brought up Kanasebench because it is SO not fair that they haven't been given a chance to draw another character, because just look at Julia:
Tumblr media
Oh gosh, she's just so darling, look at her little skirt grab, absolutely adding to the effect that this is a Resplendent outfit, this is the garb of a kingdom that she's never worn before but really seems to enjoy it.
I mentioned before with a few artists that it's really hard to judge just from looking at one character, but there's already so much pure skill we can see from this. Absolutely love the lightest shades of lilac/lavender/whatever purple shade used for the light part of the dress; it makes you think that part of the dress is white but the lilac tones are to complement Julia's natural color scheme with her hair. Kanasebench has also taken several vastly different colors (vivid shades of blue, muted shades of purple, white, and gold accents) and managed to beautifully blend it together; I complained earlier this year about Luthier's costume being an absolute mess of a color choice but Kanasebench has a fantastic grasp on color. Another thing I really want to point out is that I love how they structure the face and how they manage to blend this anime art style with keeping natural anatomy, that still manages to keep the character's youthfulness without straying too much into "bug-eyed pencil-neck anime child". No hate towards Sachie (although Hanusu is... okay), but Sachie's Julia artwork is too... I don't wanna say "too anime" because that's what this game is SUPPOSED to be, but it's just too standard anime style, kind of.
OH AND LOOK AT THE CRITICAL ARTWORK:
Tumblr media
LOOK AT THE SPECIAL EFFECTS. LOOK AT THE WAY THE DRESS SWIRLS. The action pose of Julia herself might not be super strong but the clothing gives it movement! And the simple art effects at the bottom with the ice are, like I said, simple, but effective! Kind of reminds me of Breath of the Wild's single character art pieces.
Now is there a bit of an issue with Kanasebench's artwork? I'd say... yes, but it's really just the one issue. And that's expressions:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now granted I can see that they're trying to push for differing expressions, but I think simply because of their style, it's really hard to get something drastic without sabotaging the character's face. Though I will say in the neutral portrait, Julia's little smile coupled with that semi-curtsy is just... so stinkin' cute. I'd still like to see if this is something they'd be able to improve in the future... IF FEH EVER HIRES THEM AGAIN!!! >:( SERIOUSLY FEH, STOP ONE AND DONE-ING SOME OF YOUR REALLY COOL ARTISTS. YOU DID IT TO LEGENDARY SELIPH'S ARTIST, YOU DIDN'T GIVE BTHX ANOTHER CHANCE TO IMPROVE, AND YOU DROPPED HOMARE AFTER THEIR GORGEOUS EREMIYA ARTWORK. STOP. DOING. THAT.
Anyways, I'd say that because of how pleasant it is to simply look at this artwork, Kanasebench is very much a 9/10. You're definitely right about the whiplash because the first time I saw the artwork in Arenas I was REALLY thrown off. It's an incredibly drastic difference in style compared to other artists that you can't really say looks similar to someone else, but it's got so much charm to it. I think Julia was a good character pick for this artist, and if they draw again I think a good pick of characters would be Duo F!Robin with little M!Morgan, Genny, Sophie, Lysithea, or maybe a Ross alt to see how they draw boys.

reorganizing and trying to figure out how to allocate work again today.
So, as of now, I seem to be:
missing the details of James, Zephyr, and JJ getting from Odd Jobs to the Eshu
having an order problem with how James, Zephyr, and JJ explain the metaphysical to Ferris, there's scenes in conflict with each other that don't mesh
missing the details of James, Zephyr, JJ, and Ferris off the Eshu and onto the Dvergar island
missing the entire trip between Dvergar and Titan islands
having a placement problem with the second sex scene, I'm not sure where that goes other than it goes somewhere between Dvergar Island and Atlantis
missing the details of getting from the Atlantean revival preacher to the sewers
missing an entire six days in Atlantis T_T good lord I need a better sob emoji for this one - this is going to be the BIG issue.
missing the journey from Atlantis back to the Dvergar Island
missing ALL of Avalon, which should be short but still
having a total mess problem with the wrap up but that's not too much of a big deal that's probably mostly work for next draft.
missing sex scene 4
missing a failed sex scene between James and Zephyr
missing Ferris losing her shit a little
missing What the hell happens to Sandra and Belau'aru - though I'm not sure that isn't really for the next draft.
missing Ferris taking the Eshu out again but that may also be for the next draft or never
Ugh, that's a lot. I feel like this is more instead of less work than before. -_-
Most of this is actually connective tissue, though. Short bits to move people from one location to the next logically.
I wonder if maybe I shouldn't shorten the length of stay in Atlantis. There's no particular reason that the time skip has to be seven days. Seven Days in Atlantis at the End of the World just sounded cool.
Though I also feel like it is a shame to get to Atlantis and not explore it a little. I feel like so much of Atlantis affected future plot lines. But did it? Really? *Sigh* What really needs to be there is the First Warlock and the Zodiac. Those are the things that really freaking show up in later stories. So there should be something with that. We need at least a day in Atlantis devoted to that.
I'm really not enjoying this part of writing out of order. Feh.

Someone on the subreddit made a possible fallen alts post and it legitimately has me question the entire fandom like - a majority of the choices are just "characters who sided against the main characters at some point", like the Birthright characters on Conquest and Conquest characters on Birthright. Like in what way does simply siding against the mc make a character "fallen" or "evil"?? Rhea on CF is also listed even though we have Fallen Rhea from SS!
I saw that one! Just speaking to the games I know I think a lot of them make sense, even if the justifications are just blatantly wrong. The 3H slide is probably the most "I was reaching" one to my eyes. The emblem versions of all the lords are also a biiiiiiit of a stretch until we see actual emblem alts of the characters, IMO.
For Houses/Hopes CF Rhea and AG Edelgard seem like a bit of a stretch just because they'd basically just be the same as their SS Rhea/AM Edelgard counterparts... like I don't see why they'd bother reusing them unless they were really hurting for options (and clearly they aren't, Fates alone could fill like six fallen banners by itself if they wanted).
Fallen!Byleth (not emblem) also seems like a stretch since they're apparently referencing exactly one thirty second cutscene where Sothis is temporarily in control of Byleth's body. Monica seems redundant since her "fallen" form is just Kronya and they've already done Kronya, and Jeritza as a fallen is like... that's just how he is all the time lol, unless there's something in SB that I'm missing. I've already bitched enough about how fallen Marianne is deeply ingrained fanon/headcanon with extremely minimal basis in actual canon.
From the 3H slide I think only Aelfric, Dedue, Miklan, and the Shezes really make sense as options. The former three all have clear human forms that they lose and turn into monsters, and Shez's Arval takeover only lasts for a chapter but I could reasonably see a "what if" scenario kind of like they did with the Corrins not getting their dragonstones.
The Fates slide is kind of "right church, wrong pew" in that most of the characters make sense, but as Heirs of Fate alternatives not BR/CQ alternatives. Every father character features in Heirs of Fate as an Anankos puppet so any of them could technically work for the theme. Similar deal with Mikoto, Arete, and Sumeragi, they all appear as Anankos puppets in Rev.
Gunter would also work, though he's almost definitely not going to be getting any sort of alt because of real world concerns (his JP VA died before FEH even released. All of his JP lines for his base form are recycled from Fates and because of the way Japan does voice acting, we can assume the character is retired from here on out unless they're willing to recycle more lines from Fates). Anakos would also be an obvious pick but IIRC he shared a VA with Gunther (at least partially, he might have had two different VAs one for the human and one for the dragon form or something so the circumstances might be slightly different for him). But I don't blame OP for not necessarily knowing that and they do fit the theme.
I'm not sure what they're referencing with Flora and Rhajat (it's been a hot minute since I replayed Fates) so I hesitate to say they wouldn't work, but idk. I think the only stretch there is Anthony just because no one is gonna pull for a random NPC child and IIRC he's just always like that, he never really "fell".
The Engage slide mostly makes sense actually. The only questionable one is the character who is brainwashed for like one chapter and then is literally fine, but I'm sure if they wind up being popular IS would be willing to do another "what if" type thing for them.
I think for Awakening the OP only pulled out Risen King!Chrom which... honestly I can definitely see. IS considers Cipher ideas fair game for these banners (e.g. F!Ike) and Chrom being a fairly popular main character is definitely going to be considered for a banner carry slot.
I definitely played SoV but only once in 2015 because I didn't like it that much and I literally don't remember enough of it to say if any of those options are bad picks lmao.

Something you’ll find interesting: if permadeath is enabled and a recruited jeralt dies, byleth says they’re sad they lost him, but at the same time say that now that he’s gone, they’re going to seek out rhea themselves because they want to know why jeralt was avoiding her, they want to find out the truth. So azure gleam does have that even if it’s a crumb at least, and sothis was still fucked writing wise. But it does give weight to the fact that byleth has a stronger family with the church than they did with jeralt. Who knows? Rhea obviously recognised them as Sitri’s (in golden piss but still) so she’ll likely take them in and tell them the truth they want to hear.
This also made me like Byleth more (i didn’t hate them in houses, but i was more indifferent) and it makes me mad that they have a genuinely interesting character aside from backstory that houses shafted for whatever reason. Because we get information like them being curious about the world, getting along with rhea and liking her (she’s the only character to have a pre time skip a support), and even being quite soft spoken and gentle instead of the energetic protagonist types. I’m just disappointed that was only shown in three holes and feh instead of their actual debut game. Is Koei to blame to try to force us as players to want to woo edelgard or why did they make them mute? I would’ve loved to hear them voiced talking to rhea about sitri and the nabateans and having tea and fishing with Seteth and flayn.
Oh really???
AG can possibly still end with Billy at the monastery, becoming a teacher, and maybe Worst Mom having to interact with her children (lel) - it really is the best route lol
Pretty sure Rhea knows who they are, and if Billy's already green, she might even think they're Sothis and come to the realisation that they're 2 different persons earlier than in FE16 too!
I think @renisfan pointed it out earlier, but JP!F!Billy is also more soft-spoken and gentle than what is the "western depiction" that tried to maker her appear more "Badass".
But yeah, as I suspect, the reason why Billy couldn't be more "themselves" or "interesting" in FE16 was because Billy must be able to woo Supreme Leader - thus they cannot really get to know their lizard fam - and also because both games are allergic to Nabatean content - bcs Hresvelg Tea - so Billy being a half-nabatean like being cannot be under the spotlight.
I know I joke a lot about poor Jerry, but the fact that FE16 really tried to hammer the "best dad uwu feel sad for him uwu look we made two mouthpieces to tell you how awesome he was" angle when it also didn't erase the dramatic implications that Jerry effectively ran away with his kid because the kid was "abnormal" - as a result of the heart transplant Sitri asked Rhea to perform/or because Billy is biracial - but never developed about it, bar some half-assed reheated ravioli can "maybe it was a mistake to leave the monastery" before his death...
Only for Nopes to add more on the "deadbeat dad" angle and highly suggesting Jerry, as much as the crest stone, is the reason why Billy was so emotionally stunted...
But we couldn't have a resolution with Rhea and Jerry and Billy, where it would be more or less revealed that Jerry loves Billy and ran away to protect them from Rhea, even if what Jerry feared was only a result of Billy, just like Sitri and Rhea herself, not being human.
And we of course couldn't have Jerry, after learning the truth, feeling like a watermelon because even if Sitri wasn't a human, he still loved/s her, ultimately apologising to Billy and to Sitri to have shat on her last choice - with Billy telling him that he doesn't need to apologise, but maybe from now on they can all live together and be a real family, regardless of their race because they love each other, and sit on warm rocks together -
Why?
Because the game dgaf about nabateans, and coexistence between humans and nabateans directly contradicts Supreme Leader's motto, and Supreme Leader can never look bad or be contradicted, because everyone has to learn to love her, so even if she says Nabateans are incapable of human feelings, shouldn't rule over the people because they are nabateans, have no regard for human life or are cruel beasts - we can't have anyone's arc go frontally against her mindset and say that despite the shape of their ears, Nabateans and Humans aren't so different, they have the same feelings and can ultimately live together, hell, through Billy, love each other.
Now, I'm going to drink a cup of Earl Grey.

Thoughts on Arval from the demo and trailers
Another supposed Amnesiac God(?)
Unlike Sothis who can give Byleth abilities to manipulate time, Arval gives Shez the power to shape shift and I guess also do that 'turn into a bunch of sparkles and move super fast' ability too.
All but outright stated to have been affiliated with TWS
Said that they felt something upon seeing Kronya, however they don't know it the feeling was positive or negative
Probably wasn't treated well by TWS? More of a theory than anything atm though knowing TWS's track record, wouldn't be surprised.
Another theory is that Arval only woke up because of Byleth and Sothis messing with the flow of time one too many times. Those two messed up while trying to get the golden ending and now have a whole new problem to deal with
50% chance Arval is being genuine with Shez, 50% chance that Arval's using Shez for some ulterior motive
I can imagine Arval being a villain in at least one route? Only saying one because idk if that would work for every route. Though I also really like Arval and Shez' dynamic and don't want to lose that.
Was never shown Gratitude by anyone before Shez
Is literally the guardian of Shez's last braincell
Snarky and overly dramatic, I love them
Remembers the exact number of times they had to save Shez in the span of 6 months, along with remembering HOW they nearly died
One of the things Arval loves about Shez is the fact that the mercenary worries for them
Another is the fact that Shez tends to see the better side of people
Seems to greatly dislike the lack of choice Shez has about going to Garreg Mach and joining one of the three houses, even if Shez themself didn't complain too much about it. Though can't tell if they dislike it because well... Arthgarian or because they genuinely care about Shez, maybe a mix of both?
I do think that Arval cares for Shez to some extent, though hard to tell if it's because if Shez dies they'll die too, they need Shez to do something important or because Arval sees the mercenary as a friend. The trailers kinda make it seem like Arval cares at least.
The only example I have from the demo of Arval caring for Shez is that after Tomas revealed himself to actually be Solon and the mercenary worried that people would start suspecting them due to the similar powers, Arval tried to reassure them.
Both states that they don't know much but also seemingly know more than they let on. (AKA says that they can't remember anything before meeting Shez, yet is somehow aware that they have to guide Shez and that the mercenary in supposedly needed to keep the cycle of the world safe...whatever that means)
Depending on how the story goes, there can be multiple ways for Arval's arc to play out. Maybe their faking their amnesia and are still very well allied with TWS, maybe their amnesia is genuine but upon regaining their memories decide to ally themself with TWS again. Perhaps they never get their memories back and instead sticks with Shez and whatever house they joined, or they still have their memories but decide against betraying who is probably the only friend Arval has.
In the most recent trailer, we can hear Arval saying 'I will protect you all.' THere's currently no way to tell if their saying this to the house Shez joined or TWS tho
I don't think I'm the only one who thinks this but I honestly feel like Arval could possess Shez at one point or another. No real reason for this idea other than I have a feeling Sothis might possess Byleth to speak through them so high chance the same could happen with our new duo
Really, REALLY hope that Arval doesn't disappear halfway through the game like Sothis did in 3 houses.
NGL, if I still like Arval's character in the full 3 hopes game, I'll most likely vote for them during next year's CYL, and I think I'll start saving orbs. I know there's yet to be a warriors character in Feh but seeing 3 houses' popularity... I think it's possible
