Just finished watching the full gameplay of Shadows of Rose DLC and wow, it's truly amazing. What I really fell in love with was the father daughter realtionship of Ethan and Rose. It was beautifully well written and as someone who also had never got to meet their father (mine died before I was born) the scenes between Ethan and Rose was more then beautiful. I fought back tears watching their scenes.

Ethan truly is a wonderful father, even if he couldn't be there in person he still watched over Rose and protected her. His love for his daughter, his family is forever everlasting.

Overall I have to say Capcom did a fantastic job with this DLC. The action, intense moments, and scares made for a wonderful experience but at it's core is the bond between father and daughter. Which in my book was something that was beautifully well done.

I’ve been getting into life is strange and I was always curious. What if Mark Jefferson had a daughter and they moved because his wife just left him a note and ran off. His anger comes out and destroys the apartment. He manipulates his kid when this happens, wanting to maintain the little control he has. They move to Arcadia Bay and his kid adjusts well considering. Then he takes Nathan under his wing to help get his hobby going. Then he finds out that Nathan has been taking photos of his daughter when she’s not looking…….serial killer side of him comes out and makes it very clear to Nathan his daughter is off limits from their little hobby.

You tried to swallow the nervousness, but it was worthless and didn't help at all.

"So, you know those Rachel Amber missing posters? They're almost everywhere."

Mark could feel how his heart skipped a beat. Now he started to feel nervous as well.

He let out a small sigh. He didn't want that his daughter notice that he's nervous. He tried to act calmly.

"No, sweetheart." he spoke as he hid away the frustration in his voice.

"Okay." you said quietly. You sounded convinced.

He carefully glanced at you again.

"Are you scared?"

There was a couple of seconds until you answered.

"Maybe... I don't wanna imagine what terrible things those people did to her. But my mind keep distracting me, even if I don't want to think about it."

You could feel the gentle touch of his warm hands.

"Don't worry, hon. I'll keep you safe."

And with that you were convinced that your dad is there and you're more than safe with him.

• Why would he be a bad father?

I think his psychotic hobby would be more important to him than his own daughter. He would be definitely overprotective about you, but also he wouldn't be there for you. Like there's no movie night, cause again, he has things to do in the Dark Room.

Yes, he would care about his daughter, he would also be a good listener, but you rarely meet him. He wouldn't be there for you when you need him.

I don't think he would hurt his daughter physically, but don't test him. He's enough stressed about his victims.

And he would pay too much attention about keeping you safe.

part 1

And we return to Dunceville to pay a visit to the royals. I'll try to give this time my characters a longer backstory as this neighbourhood is much older than Darkville. Let's start with Claudiuses.

Until recently the head of the house was king August the Mad. His wife was queen Bona.

They both died of old age - Bona died first having reached her lifetime want - to have 6 grandchildren. She achieved it pretty early as her younger son has 11 children (all out of wedlock). She never met those kids, but she ordered her servants to inform her. She was happy her bloodline is so strong, so she pretended she didn't know about Caligula's affairs. Her aspiration was family (obviously). Personality: 7/4/1/8/5, light sleeper

August the Mad surely deserved his nickname - his wife died during their golden jubilee and he still deemed it the best party ever. 🤣 He was also flirting during that party with Victoria the Elder Darius. Why not? 🤷‍♀️He outlived his wife by mere few days. His first aspiration was family and second fortune. He's maxed his logic and charisma skills, and had 5 points of condition and creativity. Personality: 5/9/3/8/0, insane

August and Bona had got 3 children: Arthur, Cecylia and Caligula.

Following the death of August the Mad, Arthur became new king and shares his kingdom with his father-in-law, Konrad the Ginger. He's dutiful and noble, but a bit naive. He loves his wife dearly - she's probably the only person for whom he's willing to bent the law. He admires her for the strength of her character, independence and wit. He also cares for his sister, Cecylia Darius.

However, his got terrible realtionship with his brother - they are enemies. After Bona's death family stopped ignoring Caligula's affairs, which resulted in numerous arguments. One day Caligula tried to flirt with his sister-in-law, which Fiona didn't take lightly. Although heavily pregnant at the time, she drew a sword and started a fight with Caligula. Unfortunately, defending himself Caligula accidentally killed her and ran away in panic. Distraught, Arthur called for the wizard serving at Dariuses' court, but it was too late to help Fiona. Wizard, Eugene Magic, consulted his family and they came up with a way to bring the queen back. Fiona was brought back, but something went wrong during the rite (probably due to the blood curse) and she returned as a vampire. Wizards are afraid that reverting vampirism might also revert bringing the queen back, so they can't currently cure her. While Arthur's love hasn't faltered, his wife's condition scares him. The first days were especially difficult as she was trying to bite him all the time, not being able to sate her thirst. Luckily, smart plantman living in the rural area is growing special fruit that works as a substitute for blood. Fiona's vampirism is a strictly confidential information known only to the Claudiuses, the Dariuses and the clan of witches.

Arthur's personality: 5/3/7/3/7, good, hopeless romantic. His first aspiration is family and second is popularity. He's got condition maxed, 8 points of charisma and 5 points of logic and mechanical. His favourite colour is blue.

Fiona was born to the royal house of Darius and was married into the house of Claudius. She's daughter of Victoria the Elder and Konrad the Ginger and sister to Władysław IV. At first she was highly sceptical of her engagement to Arthur (she's got red memory). She was worried he would perceive her the way her brother does - as someone weaker and dependent, while she is certain she would make a much better ruler than Władysław IV - he only had the luck of being born a man. But eventually Arthur gained her respect (and heart) and they make a pretty happy marriage. Fiona likes reading about new inventions and sparring duels with her husband. Thanks to plasma fruit and potions that allow her to walk in the sunlight her vampirism is quite bearable. She hates Caligula with burning passion, but is friends with Cecylia Darius and the noble house of Watch.

Fiona's personality: 5/8/6/3/3, adventurous, brave, ambitious. Her first aspiration is family and second is knowledge. Her favourite colour is black. She's logical (7 points), she also has 6 points of condition and 5 points of creativity.

Arthur and Fiona have got 4 children: Julia, Agrippa, Victoria and Kunegunda. All kids are friends with their royal cousins of house Darius.

Julia (the girl in blue dress) is the eldest child. Personality: 10/10/4/4/7, brave, good, snob. Her favourite colour is blue.

Agrippa is the second child and only son. Personality: 5/8/6/3/3 (he takes after his mother), brave, good, animal lover. His favourite colour is blue.

Victoria (the girl in red dress) is the third child and as a part of peace agreement wears the colours of house Darius. She doesn't mind that as red is her favourite colour. Personality: 5/3/7/3/7, heavy sleeper, absent-minded.

Kunegunda is the fourth child and is still a baby. She was born after Fiona's revival (technically she was revived together with her mother) and she was born with red eyes. Personality: 10/1/10/3/3

Claudiuses have got a cat - Alegra. They bought her when she was a kitten. Alegra is genius, mid between lazy and hyper, mid between independant and friendly, cowardly, finicky.

Following the accident (he didn't mean to kill Fiona! It's not his fault she's hot and he saw her everyday, alright?), Caligula ran away, grew long hair and a beard to avoid being recognised. He now lives in the rural area outside the city. Even though he is not only banished, but also highly wanted (both kings want him dead for his deed), he sometimes goes to the city to have a drink in the inn or to pick up on some lady. He was his mother's favourite child, and she accepted that he didn't want to marry. He remains a single to this day.

His job at the court was to attend ceremonies and parties (his job was slacker), but he managed to slack off even in that to go on a date with a lady. Basically, he was useless as he never had any ambition to take his brother's seat - Arthur had responsibilities and Caligula could live the pleasant, carefree live of a royal younger son.

He is father of 11 children with 8 women - there was a set of triplets and a pair of twins. What can I say, he's very fertile. xD Surely he's not prejudiced - he's slept with noble women, he's slept with burgher women, he's slept with peasants. He also slept with a mermaid, two witches and a fairy. He tried to woo an elvish lady, but she clearly wasn't interested,

As soon as a lady becomes pregnant, he quits a relationship. Sometimes he ends an affair even sooner.

One day he found a basket with a baby and a note "Jocasta Samurai". The girl is dark-skinned, but Caligula is willing to believe she's his own. The problem is, he doesn't recall meeting with a woman with last name being "Samurai" and he's slept with 5 dark-skinned women at least three of them were literate.

Personality: 5/9/3/8/0, commitment issues, heavy sleeper. His aspiration is pleasure and second is romance. He's got high condition (8), he's also creative (7), charismatic (6) and quite logical (5).

Jocasta Samurai is the only child of Caligula that got to meet its father. She was abandoned by her mother, Berta Watch (5th on the relationship view above). Personality: 4/8/6/10/7.

DAUGHTER OF THE SUN

Unfinished fashion drawings of my newest oc - Alexandria. She is the only daughter of a wealthy planetary governor. Raised on a paradise / garden world - born into wealth - she has hever had to work a day in her life - everything being handed too her on a silver platter. She has a lot of power and standing, thanks to her father... She also has an army of hand maidens and and the familiy's tech priest on hand. Her cybernetic eye acts as a link to her troop of servo-skulls - who bring her tea and little treats (which range from fresh fruit to kill confirmations of her enemies) at the drop of a pin. Summary: Doctor Strange and y/n have had a secret relationship and want to kiss at midnight and Tony Starks New Years eve party. The only issue is that y/n is Tony Starks daughter and the one rule the Avengers must follow is nodbody can have a relationship with Tony Starks daughter. Not based on the mcu timeline.

Your Phone buzzed with Stephens notification, you held it close to your chest in excitement. Although you wouldn’t be able to show off your fairly new relationship with the handsome chiselled man they called Doctor Strange, your worries seemed to disappear whenever he was around. 

Now most people would love to show off their new relationship especially at a social gathering like this, but of course with Stephen being an Avenger now, he must obey Tony’s boldly highlighted rule. Any member of the team cannot engage with any relationship with his daughter, and of course that had to be you. At first it wasn’t an issue but Stephen wasn’t a member of the team and didn’t even know you existed. Well he did, everyone knew the daddy daughter team within the Avengers. 

Your powers being the result of a one night stand with a mutant woman, leaving you with the ability to summon fire and control any surrounding flames. But that's a story for another time.

The main issue here was you finally convinced Stephen to come to one of your father’s extravagant parties with the excuse of it being new years eve and the promise of a private after party. However it would be difficult to party with your boyfriend without hinting any form of connection between you two. The only person who knew was Natasha after she caught Stephen walking out of your room one night. All you wanted to do was kiss Stephen at midnight like any newly blossoming couple exploring the honeymoon period. 

“Y/n are you going to get me that drink, i got the last round and i am paying for everything here.” Tony snapped you from your trance waving his hand across your eyes. 

“Huh yeah sure, scotch?” You smile

“Look at that, she knows her dad well.” He joked kissing your cheek. You roll your eyes as you slip away dodging being dragged into conversations with people you’ve never met finally reaching the bar. You slip behind helping yourself to the glasses and observing the selections of vodkas before inevitably picking your favourite and adding it to your lemonade.

“I’ll take that in a martini with you on the side.” A familiar comforting voice guided by a glass being slid in your direction plastered an instant smile on your face. He was wearing a blue suit fitting perfectly around his body, his biceps protruded through the tightness of his sleeves, he looked perfect.

“Look at you Strange, is this you socialising?” You joke filling his glass.

“I can’t help it, I was told this girl I really like would be here and I just had to see her again.” He smiled while taking his drink.

“Doc, you made it! Finally got your head out of those books.” Tony waltzed over patting Stephen on the shoulder pulling him slightly away from you as he always did with any man who stood slightly too close for his comfort. You found it funny that he did his utmost best to reduce the chances of being charmed by rich playboys, just like your mother was.

“Its the end of the year thought I’d come to watch you piss someone off one final time this year.” He joked sarcastically only smiling when you began to laugh. Tony took his drink and headed back to Pepper to keep some of his pride, kissing her check with his arrival. “So tell me how are you going to execute operation midnight kiss?” Stephen turned to you

“Natasha is going to suggest we all find someone to kiss when the ball drops. Everyone has a significant other apart from us two. So that leaves me with you, no one will bat an eye at a midnight kiss.” You lean on the bar smiling at the man before you, noticing how his eyes examined the dress that curves with your figure. “Are you even listening?” You ask, waving your hand in front of his glassy eyes.

“Yes absolutely, sounds like you have it all planned out, let's hope nobody is suspicious when I kiss you tonight. Knowing Tony, he probably hired a detective to watch over you but I reckon I'd suss them out.” He winked sipping his drink

“Yeah because you’re a real detective Strange.” 

“Maybe in a different universe, you never know.” He shrugged as you walked away. As much as you wanted to stay with him all night, you couldn’t risk anyone finding out about your clandestine relationship.

The evening went pretty smoothly, you laughed and joked with Natasha watching her flirtatious remarks fly over Bruce's head. You almost died after trying a sip of the asgardian wine Thor had brought, you found yourself leaning on the balcony trying to ignore his thundering laughter over your lightweight self. You bravely wandered back after giving Stephen a subtle nod showing you where okay, after knowing he’d be worried for you, you weren’t always the most graceful drunk. The scar on your head was a worthy example. 

Most of the team sat around the main table with Clint mimicking the Mjolnir rule.

“Uh, "Whosoever be he worthy shall haveth the power!" Whatever man! It's a trick.”

“Are you serious? we’re going to go through this again?” Tony moaned 

“Mr Stark is right the last time we reviewed this, I believe we had to fight ultron.” Vision stated 

“But it has to be some sort of trick, plus y/n never had a go.” Clint pointed out. 

“That's true, in fact I don't believe you were there at all.” Rhodey highlighted. And he was right, at that time you were tasked by Nick Fury to draft a certain sourcer to the team. And if you remember correctly by that point in the night he had already fucked you atleast three times.

“I was working.” You blushed feeling the gaze of said sourcer who knew exactly where you were that night. And who you were doing, you looked over to him and saw him smiling through his drink almost as if he was proud.

“Boo come on don’t you want to know if you could rule asgard?” Tony announced. You turned to Thor who smiled

“Be my guest, you lift it, you rule me.” He joked. You nodded and stood over the hammer and gripped it tightly, you huffed and puffed but the hammer made no effort to move. Your competitive streak pulled harder, causing you to grunt and groan as you pulled and still the hammer didn’t budge.

“Okay it's a very clear message, I’m not worthy. Sorry Thor, looks like you still rule the golden realm.” You laughed before Friday interrupted the party.

“Boss it's almost midnight, fireworks are due to start in two minutes.” The group cheered as Natasha got up winking at you during the process 

“Tony, I think we should find somebody to kiss when the new year starts, you know, for luck.” You turn to your father trying your best not to look hopeful.

“Sure why not, any excuse to kiss Pepper.” He smiled, kissing her cheek. A smile formed at each side of your face as you nudged Stephen following the group outside.

“Would you look at that, a well executed plan.” He whispered to you.

“I'm surprised you stayed this long.” You whispered back. His hand moved down to your waist as he squealed your ass.

“I was promised a pretty good reward.” He purred into your ear. Your heart skipped a beat, you’d take him there and then if all these people weren’t around. Your thoughts were interrupted by the beginning of the countdown. You noticed how Stephen still wanted to protect the secrecy that you shared as he moved the two of you to the quiet corner of the balcony.

“Five, four, three, two, one. Happy new year!” You and Stephen waited for everyone to kiss their partner before your lips pressed together. He pulled you closer bringing his hands to your face, you pressed your waist to his moving slightly already teasing him with what you had promised. You smiled through the kiss as his soft groan rumbled through his throat. He pressed his forehead against yours as he spoke softly 

“I can already tell this year is going to be good, all because it starts with you.” He kissed your forehead and intertwined his fingers with yours.

“I think you should go downstairs, I’ll say goodnight and meet you there.” You traced your hand down his chest.

“I think you’re right.” He smirked, raising one brow and leaving the room with a slight skip in his step. 

Tony walked over handing you a glass of champagne and kissed your cheek.

“Happy new year sweetie, who kissed you.” He asked

“Nobody, I just watched the fireworks.” You laughed taking a large gulp of your drink. “Well I'm gonna call it a night, don't be too loud.” You kiss his forehead and wave to Natasha before heading to your own party. 

The guests cheers and laughter began to fade as the elevator doors closed behind you. You trailed your hand along the wall as you stepped closer to your room. You entered with a heavy sigh, throwing your high heels aside. 

“Why do you wear those things? They destroy your feet every time.” Stephen smiled, turning from his window view. You collapsed into his arms swaying with him as you danced to the faded music vibrating above you. You hummed as you trailed your fingers through his silver streaks and kissed his lips softly. Your hands gilded downwards and began unbuckling his belt. They slid into the opening and moved up and down his half hard shaft. He pulled you closer, his moan echoing into your lips. You released his cock and unbuttoned his shirt kissing his body as your head moved downwards, you reached the tip of his cock and began playing with it, licking it up and down before taking him into your mouth.

A list of unusual books

Have been thinking about this for a while...

Wouldn't it be neat to have a list of books which shed light on topics, phenomenons only rarely viewed in literature? Which cover topics not often discussed? Here a few examples I still keep thinking about

Skylark- by Dezö Kostolanyi

A book about a middle aged couple in rural early 20th century HUngary. While their adult daughter visits relatives the devoted parents, whose live revolves about making their daughter comfortable and safe, come to realise, that their devotion is born out of duty instead of genunine love.

KOstolanyi manages a compassionate view on the family, neither judging parents or daugher, but refelecting on the tragedy of being in a realtionship wiht someone you feel you should love, who did nothing really bad too, but with whom you just have very little in common. A topic I have actually never encountered in literature before actually.

Also by a Hungarian author:

The Transilvanian Trilogy by Miklos Banffy

It is a semi autobiographical novel about the decline of Austria Hungary on the eve of WWI. While I am not a big fan of the far too prominent love story in the book, I did enjoy the insight into the political and social conditions of the time. Written in the early 1920s it gives a unique picture of the pre war Europe. What fascinated me, was the way he desribed the life of men, far away from the "manly man" image we are often to believe was the standard of the time. Instead we have a young nobleman, heir of an estate, falling asleep at a ball after spending the night soothing his 5 months old son- and all the men, generals, admirals, noblemen , soldiers, politicians- SMILING at him and saying "been there, done that, oh yes to be a young father". Really impacted my view on history actually.

Lieutenant Kijé by Yory Tynyanov

A deligthful treat for the lovers of the absurd, which follows the successful career, love, marriage and fatherhood of a man who does not exist.

Bernhard Cromwells Sharpe Series

Listen, I know. These books are defintely not great literature and have more than one issue. However one thing that really surprised me is how amazingly these books handle break ups!

It is not often you read about sensible break ups. And yet again and again you see the protagonist end up with having kind but sincere discussions on what to expect of the future- realising the visions don't match or at least not yet, and then amicably split ways. Also when being turned down he always respects her decision, and is mostly even shown being actively happy for her when seeing her in a happy relationship with someone else.

(Also in the movies I for the first time in TV saw a woman changing her mind about having sex after first initiaating it and it was not shown as her playing with the man or being flirty or mean but just as her not being ready and him respecting it)

What should I say? I just love them and their relationship together. Hank and his dad vibes are killing me. He would be such a good father to his kids! And it's so sad that we barely see any good father child relationships especially in marvel. Yeah i know we barely see any kind of parent child relationships because most of the time they're dead or whatever but with fathers it's even less. Like i can think of more sweet mother child relationships than father child relationships. (Talking mostly about the mcu cause i have barely read any comics yet but still)

The only good fathers I can think of from the top of my head are: Tony, Clint, Scott, Drax, Kamala's dad, Cassie's stepdad and T'Chaka that's it. Some would say Odin but tbh I don't think of him as a good dad especially if you think of Loki and Hela.

But mother child relationships? We got kamala's mom, Pepper, Frigga, Ramonad, Maria, Wanda, Laura Barton, Janet Van Dyne, Meredith Quill, Ying Li, Melina Vosokoff, the mom of Cassie Lang, Tony's mom, Nakia. Even Kate's mom. I know she did very bad things but you can't deny she was a good mother to Kate. I also read a little about Jubilee as mother. Not to forget aunt May! I know she's actually the aunt but she still stepped up as peter's mother and literally raised him, so I let this count.

The most father child realtionship were mostly shitty and/or absent in one way or another... And those good ones we do have are mostly cut short and they were never really able to be the dad they could have been. I mean Tony? Died when Morgan was like 4. Scott? Prison and then gone for 5 years. Drax? His child was killed and even if he would have been a good dad we never saw his relationship with his daughter not even in flashbacks or whatever. Also comic Kurt could have been such an amazing dad. But nooooo, Marvel said let's not do that and take his child away. So all we have left are Clint, Kamala's dad and T'Chaka. That's really sad.

And that's why most of the time I focus more on the father child relationships in my headcanons and stories. Because the males of marvel deserve to also be shown as good dads!

I don't care what anyone says but a good father is just as important to a child and this whole bad!dad trope is getting so annoying. Dads deserve to be shown as the good ones too! And kids deserve to have a good father in their lives.

Plot: Kitty have been in a long distance relationship with Dae for a while when she´s finally accepted into KISS, his boarding school in Seoul, Korea. After she convinced her father and stepmother to let her go she's on her way to surprise Dae. But things don't turn out the way she imagined, turns out there are things Dae haven't told her, her roomate is horrible and the school is not what she expected. To complicate things further, Dae might not be the only one who wants to catch her attention. On top of that, she's starting to find out things about her departed mother, who used to attend the school.

Seasons: 1 (renewed for a season 2)

My story: I came into this series from sort of a strange angle, since I haven't seen the To all the boys-films (where Kitty originates from) yet. When it poped up in my suggestions-list at Netflix I thought the idea of a young person moving to a land far away for love sounded thrilling, so I started to watch it. I like the characters and their backstories and I look forward to knowing more about all of them in the next season(s?). I often wish I was as bold as Kitty.

Teachable moments: Kitty's quite impulsive and emotionally driven, it's sometimes her strength but maybe even more it complicates things for her. Is it worth it? Probably.

Best character: Yuri's caught between a rock and a hard place, in life in general but with love in particular. Her frustration about her loved one being taken away from her is heartbreaking and shows us how queer love is still not fully accepted. I love how her realtionship with Kitty develops from frenemies to BFF's, and if you ask Kitty - something more. Her standing up against her parents and following her heart is inspiring.

Best episode: "TIL" (S1E7). It's intriguing, exciting and gut wrenching when Kitty and Yuri tries to unravel secrets. But are they ready to deal with the truth?

Best quote: "Did I just let my youngest daughter go to Korea to have sex with her boyfriend?" (Dan Covey, Kitty's father)

Fun fact: Same as her character, actor Anna Cathcart who plays Kitty, was moving away from home for the first time when she was in Korea filming XO Kitty. According to herself, it helped her in her role as Kitty.

The Marriage.

Carol glanced at the small crowd as they entered the hall. Alfred had picked a wonderful setting for the wedding.

Carol cleared her throat, getting everyone's attention “Dearly beloved, today we are gathered as the witnesses to a spectacular wedding. Today we watch as devoted lovers Damian Wayne and Christline Judith celebrate their love in the eyes of the law, though in spirit they have been married far longer.”

The crowd had various reactions of happiness.

"I will let you know that while pictures are allowed, kindly don't post them on any social platforms. This is their private wedding afterall" carol explained before smiling brightly. "With that, let’s begin!” she cheered with the crowd.

After some minutes, the music started to play as everyone took their positions.

Anasticius and nyx entered the hall, walking down the aisle. Nyx throwing flowers at people as some people aww'd at how adorable she was.

Anasticius gave Hecate and Dick the respective rings. Before saluting them and returning to their seats.

Cassandra and Amelia walked in as bridesmaids, Cass winked at Damian who was with his groomsmen behind, both Jon and collin grinning while looking at a nervious but happy Damian.

It was an agreement that Damian would not see christels wedding dress.

Then suddenly behind Cassandra and Amelia, Christel entered the view. In a white and pink-flower themed mermaid dress. She didn't have a veil but instead a flower crown. Damian recalled Alek and Aris making the crown together. He smiled at the fact.

Besides christel, Delenn was smiling. Walking her daughter down the aisle. They stopped at the front row, in front of Damian.

He stepped forwards and took her hand.

Now Damian and Christel were standing in front of carol, facing each other holding hands.

"I once asked you why you loved me and you responded with the statement that you couldn't stop yourself from loving my small quirks or my actual self. I still don't know what you mean.

My fondest memories of you must be you carrying our children around. Even though it is pretty clear you can't carry all three at the same time." Christel again pounted. She could hear the kids laugh at the statement.

"I promise you that I will protect you.

I promise to protect our kids.

I promise to be near you always.

I promise to listen to you.

And in case you lose your way again... I promise to guide you to the best possible outcome.

Your husband." Damian finished his words.

Christel gave a small smile as she started to read her note.

"You are not only an amazing father to Aristella but also Aleksander and Anasticius. You are an amazing father. And I know you would be an amazing husband.

Even when I make wrong decisions, you are ready to move past it and help me.

I can see a brighter future for me with only you by my side.

Carol smiled as she said "do you two stand here today to give yourselves to each other in marriage?"

They both nodded "we do". Carol stating something's further. Then she said to the crowd "If anyone knows of any legal reason why these two may not be married today, please speak now.”

Damian suddenly side glared Talia, who just glanced back at her son unimpressive. Christel raised her eyebrow.

Carol nodded as she asked for the ring exchange. Dick handed Damian his ring.

"I give you this ring as a sign of my commitment to you" Damian repeated. Christel bit her bottom lips, trying not to smile or cry. Hecate went ahead and gave Christel her ring.

Carol said the same again.

And Christel repeated "“I give you this ring as a sign of my commitment to you.”

They had agreed not to kiss in front of the crowd. Prior so carol went ahead with stating.

The crowd, mostly the batfamily and Grelitia's cheered loudly.

Carol then again said, gathering the groups attention "On behalf of the happy couple, thanks for coming and have a wonderful evening! Celebration will began soon. Eat and have fun"

She continued, "everyone can come forward to personally congratulate the couple OR as the mics are open to everyone, feel free to give an embarrassing speech towards the newly weds"

well, since you wanted more: innocent is basically about a family of executioners before and through the french revolution, but primarily the eldest son and youngest daughter, who are both the black sheep of the family. charles hates his job but is ofc forced to do it, while marie is the only one who actually wants the job, but on account of being a woman in the 18th century.... well. they eventually become friends as charles teaches marie in secret, but they end up falling out for reasons, several years later they become allies again, then enemies, then allies, etc., many times cause he needs marie's expertise specifically. even when they're ostensibly not on good terms, marie still shows up to help him through a very difficult execution by uh Interesting and kinda saucy means (it's basically bdsm. like there's no reading between the lines there). +bonus charles being the only one willing to take marie's advice on another execution, saving her from torture by their grandomther whom almost no one goes up against ever, giving her his jacket and telling her he'll always be her ally (though that one hurts). honestly it's kinda hard to sell their realtionship cause charles ends up becoming his father for much of the manga, which doesn't stop him from caring for marie, though not in a good or healthy way that would actually facilitate them having a single lasting relationship with each other. which is kinda also what i'm here for, so i win anyway! sorry for the rant, they're just uh complicated. quite. especially marie

oh and also, innocent!anon again, but there's one scene where charles is teaching marie and she thanks him in slightly clumsy latin, which is such a genuinely sweet scene in a relentlessy depressing manga. and also the first time he finds out she's been hiding out in the shed dissecting birds, it's framed almost like those pre-romance scenes in media where someone is walked in upon while chaning, especially since she actually does drop some clothes cause of the blood innocent anon AGAIN sorry: i don't think i did a concise enough job of conveying their Thing, but basically charles does a lot of shit to keep marie in the family and by his side, and when that proves too difficult he wants her dead. at least that's one read of it oh yeah, and charles says and i quote: "marie, a world with you gone is like a dark world where no light reaches…" sorry i've been rereading and i'm just fidning all these gems again

Later Parker was born, and Chloe tries hard to be the best older sister ever, even if she felt neglected by her parents, but she doesn't show it, knowing what happened with Yamper.

The realtionship between her and his brother got better as he grows up, even if they fight sometimes.

Being an older sister and growing up surrounded by adults made Chloe act more mature for her age, really osservant but less cheerful compared to the past.

She tried to follow her father's footsteps, gaining knowledge in pokemon, and her mother's, where starts drawing herself as a magical girl in some adventures. That will remain a secret, because of Chloe's embarassment.

She started school at the age of 6, and some things changed. Obviously she couldn't remember about Marnie, but probably that scene of her crying stayed in her subconscios.

She saw a little boy crying, Goh, and felt sadness for him. She managed to become friends with him using some of her knowledge about pokemon, topic that little Goh was really fond about, at the point he couldn't shut up about it. Chloe tried to convince Goh to be more sociable and make new friends, including inviting him to a camp, but failed.

Her second friend was Mika, a blonde girl who likes cute things and cute pokemon. She "adopted" her, like most extroverts do with introverts. She had to be the voice of reason for her.

Some things happened that made Chloe change her views on life. Being in class with a lot of noisy children became overhelming for her, and noticed almost everyone saw her only as a professor's daughter and not her own person. That made her distance herself from pokemon world and being colder to people.

Also the constant pression of homework and grades contributes to her fear of failing and not trying new things of she wasn't informed enough.

The worst happened two years later, in which Goh became a victim of bullying. She didn't know the real reason, but hears them calling him "girly" as a insult. She tried to step and defending for him, but made things worse. As a result, Goh became a drop out from school. She couldn't do anything that giving him homework.
