WHY IS THE FACT THAT THOMAS IS CANONICALLY A GREAT SINGER AND WRITES HIS OWN POETRY ALWAYS FORGOTTEN. WHY DOES NOBODY TALK ABOUT IT. WE SHOULD DEFINITELY BE TALKING ABOUT IT.

یک نفر میرسد از راه
که ماه پیش نگاهش کم است
بر دل من مرهم است
دل شده دیوانه ی او، وای وای
Someone is on the way
whose eyes, outshine the moon
who is an elixir to my heart
My heart, entraptured ..ah my heart

He has drunk in secret
Her love has faded in the fog of his madness
It's out of sobriety, don't tell him about it being a mistake
Scandalous he is, shoulders heavy with sin
Lonely she is, eyes lined with Kohl
