The Founders of Aerithor
The founding explorers of Aerithor were a remarkable group of individuals, each bringing their unique magical talents and backgrounds to the endeavor. Led by Alaric Stormweaver, a visionary wizard of immense power, they embarked on a quest that would shape the destiny of the hidden valley.

Alaric Stormweaver: As the charismatic leader of the expedition, Alaric possessed an innate understanding of elemental magic. He could command the forces of wind and water with unparalleled grace, earning him the nickname "Stormweaver." His vision for Aerithor was one of balance, where magic and nature coexisted in perfect harmony.
Seraphina Moonshadow: Seraphina was a mystic with a deep affinity for the lunar energies. Her connection to the moon allowed her to decipher the ancient runes that guided the explorers on their journey. Her wisdom and knowledge of the mystical arts played a pivotal role in the founding of Aerithor.
Kaelin Earthshaper: A gentle healer and earth mage, Kaelin possessed the remarkable ability to mend wounds and restore life to the land. Her magic brought fertility to the valley's soil, ensuring that Aerithor would thrive as a sustainable community.
Thalorin Starwhisper: Thalorin was a rogue and an illusionist, skilled in the art of stealth and misdirection. His cunning and resourcefulness protected the expedition from dangers lurking in the wilds as they journeyed to their destined home.
Elara Flameheart: A fire mage of unmatched passion, Elara's flames warmed the explorers during the cold nights of their journey. Her determination and courage earned her the respect of her companions, and she later became a symbol of heroism for Aerithor.
These founders, bound by a common purpose and a love for magic, undertook a perilous journey to discover the hidden valley that would become Aerithor. Their diverse talents and unwavering dedication laid the foundation for the town's enchanting legacy, leaving a lasting mark on its history and the magical community they nurtured.

Character concept: kindly old mentor figure who is scouring the land in search of The Chosen One to pull the sword from the stone. They find the kid destined to be king, whisk them away on a magical adventure full of lessons like "be a good sport" and "always see the best in people," and guide them to the stone.
The child pulls the sword out and immediately gets knifed in the ribs by their mentor, who takes the sword, hides the body, and gets declared the rightful king.

As we breathlessly wait for February to arrive I couldn't help but think about how the games communication mechanics have changed over the course of the series. Phones weren't really a big thing in the original game (for obvious reasons) but made a bigger splash in Crisis Core with emails. I keep thinking about that moment when you receive an email from Cloud (as you're playing Zack) and it says "Zack, where are you?! Sephiroth set the whole village on fire!!!"
It shouldn't be funny but it honestly is. Like, what a way to communicate, right? But now texting, selfies, live feeds, and the whole kibosh are rampant in our lives.
So I decided to make a thing.

Cloud and Aerith deserve to live a happy domestic life together on a farm, raising chocobos and growing flowers and vegetables. Cloud would be a famous chocobo jockey while also helping Aerith tend to her garden. The vegetables grown there would be the best in the village and sold at the local market. They'd win competitions together, like chocobo racing and flower arranging. They'd have picnics in the woods and go hiking. They'd stargaze together on the mountains. I just want them to be happy.
