Learning to 3d model and am kind of determined to make a real Doe doll. Whenever we move out of our families house sometime next year we’ll have much more space than we do currently and a garage, and I’ve been thinking about investing a resin printer for a while. If I can make her functional and I’m satisfied with it I might even try to get her casted and sell, but we shall see.

REVAMP COMING JANUARY 17TH

Hi, everyone ! We have some exciting news ! In the upcoming week, Santa Moneda will be changing and expanding into something bigger and better ! After 3 beautiful months of admining, we as admins have learned a lot, and with the holiday daze cleared up we can see ways we think our rp could be improved. Based on feedback we’ve received over the last few months and our most recent holiday dip in activity, we feel we’re at a place where we can give our group the revamp it deserves. Santa Moneda will be changing from an apartment rp with city elements to a full blown city rp with new neighborhoods and additional locations. We feel like an apartment rp might be limiting to mun and muse, so we want to turn it to a city rp to give both the chance to flourish. Since Valparaíso isn’t a city normally seen in the rpc, we feel that turning it into more of a sandbox city will give writers more freedom for character creation, interaction, and city exploration. 

For our current members: It's important to note that the Santa Moneda apartment will not be leaving. It’ll remain a luxury apartment complex in one of the new neighborhoods listed. Your character DOES NOT have to move out of the complex if you don’t want them to, but you are more than welcome to come to the admins and ask questions if you’d like to make adjustments to your character(s). Additionally, the group WILL NOT be closing during this time, and this Sunday’s (1/14) activity check will still continue. As usual, if you need an extension or hiatus, reach out to the admins.

For potential new members: If you’d still like to join the roleplay before the revamp, our submission box will remain open until 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 13th. After that, it will be closed until 12:00 PM on Wednesday, January 17th. Our inbox will remain open for any questions, suggestions, or feedback you may have.

For curious minds, more specific detail on what’s to come will be posted underneath the read more. Thank you to everyone who has joined us, who is still with us, and has given us their consideration. We hope these new changes will encourage new interactions, new faces, and overall a new experience. We hope you still enjoy your stay at Santa Moneda, no matter the form it takes !

Rule change regarding fcs and activity (we’re hoping to make it more streamlined and more flexible)

App change (we will remain appless, but will be adjusting it to reflect the change to a city rp)

We will no longer be accepting on a rolling basis. Acceptance days will be Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays after 8PM CST

Mun cap is decreasing from 30 to 25.

my prof just explained on the syllabus that he’s included more points in the class than we needed to pass, so we could skip up like?? 20 small assignments/quizzes/participation!! and still get a very high grade!!

the idea was that we could focus on assignments that played to our strengths - only do the participation stuff if we like to talk out loud - only do the quizzes/readings if we want to do the class remotely - only do online discussions if we like to talk and share opinions but struggle with anxiety in class ect.

and that’s cool enough but then he pulled up DnD character sheets with drawings he’d done of these hypothetical student player classes and how our various accessibility needs could be gamified to ‘max out’ different aspects of the class to get high grades and like!!!!!

hell yeah!!!! let’s treat accessibility in higher education not just as a necessity but as the fun, engaging, and creative aspect of learning that it is!!! I love this!!

i spent my entire teenaged years fighting for my life. i crawled through the deepest pits of my depression to cling to the promise of a life beyond that pain. i was so convinced that i was going to die young, that i would never see the grace of my age starting with a 2, let alone 3.

so im going to turn 30, and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do to stop me from loving it.
