Danny is at a Ghost Hunting Convention in Gotham with his parents. He hates his past self for thinking that going to Gotham was a good idea.

He's in a tank, full of water, with a curtain draped over it as the Joker waxes poetic about how Batman is too late and blah, blah, blah.

Danny has bigger problems than Batman's pissing contest with Joker.

His parents are on the outside of the water tank he's been stuck in for the last twenty minutes. As a Halfa, he just stopped breathing, no big deal.

But they don't know he can do that.

He needs to do something so that they don't think he's a ghost, and going intangible is out because, obviously, that would make him a ghost.

...Hadn't Clockwork said that his status as a Halfa made him...flexible? On what he looked like?

That meant shapechanging, like Amorpho.

It would be really, really hard to explain, but also, better than being mistaken for a ghost.

He squeezes his eyes shut, hopes he doesn't come out of this looking like a horrifying version of clayface, forces himself to change.

The skin on his neck ripples, his legs fuse like when he's in his ghost form, and the sensation is so strange he gasps...and he can breathe.

The curtain is still over the tank of water.

Danny is glowing.

There are freckles that are glowing a soft green that dot his arms and...tail.

He's a mermaid. Merman.

Well.

Maybe he can say it was a recessive gene?

first art post of the new year!!! granted, i don't share my art here that much anyway, but– shhh.

hehehehhhooo,, here's something i've been working on for 'bout a month,, albeit not consecutively– took a few,, very very long breaks in between working on this,, but i managed to finish it in the end! am i satisfied with it? .......ehhhh? not completely, but if this took any longer, it might not have seen the light of day, so like. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

anyway,, made a little poster for my favorite fic, tommyinnit's services for villains, vigilantes, and various other vagabonds, by @scorpionoesit!!! it's really really good,,, and i've always wanted to make more art for it,, so i decided– poster! at least,, that's what it's mean to resemble,,, dkdmkdmdkd.

i will freely admit,, i'm... not the biggest fan of the fan-made logo i tried to design for it,, feels a bit boring, and could definitely have used a bit more pizazz, something to make feel more like the fic itself(what does that mean? you figure that out),,,, but– again, steam was running low,, dkdnksjs. graphic design is my passion. i do also have other complaints, but i'm afraid i already punched my one-use self-critique card,, oh well,,, dkdnkxjdkd.

regardless,, even with the flaws only i can really see,, this still turned out pretty okay!! hope you enjoy it, mx. scorpio and mx. alibi!!! and i hope everyone else has a wonderful new year!!!!

(Squirtle! themed board 4 Bojan cuz the amount of times his ass has spit a whole water bottle at the audience should be studied N Bojure! movie date cuz kitty N ouppy duo’s are everything 2 me :33) yes they made lil kandi bracelets 4 eachother with Bojan being the little spoon N Jure being the big spoon N they maybe spent a lil too much time getting snacks so by the time they actually went into the theatre both of them were extremely high on sugar (praying 4 everyone else in that theatre with how disgustingly sweet their gonna be N how much their gonna cuddle up 2 eachother during the jumpscares 😭).Bojan ended up finding a lil claw machine thingy on their way out of the theatre which ofc he played till they ran out of coins all so he could get a golden retriever plush that was ontop of a alpaca plush,Jure got them both two bottles of coke N those light up balloons on a stick 2 cheer him up like the good fiancé he is (which meant him N Bojci made out underneath some dingy street lights when they were walking back home 🥰).N after getting a tiny bit lost,both boys tumbled onto the bed in their shared apartment still halfway ontop of the other,giggling into eachother’s necks as they whispered sweet nothings into the letters ears until sleep finally took over them,knowing that it wouldn’t be long till they would go on another movie date except both of their fingers would be wearing rings that very much told anyone else who they belonged 2..

+ the romeo plotline is not as compelling as the order plotline. like they kinda went the "friend betraying friends" route again WITH death this time (which is a good choice i do think. personallyy) except the s1 plotline had more depth. you get to know the people before the dramatic twist and for me that had me thinking about the characters & changing my view of them. Also made seeing sorens books in the dlc more interesting .... like story wise
