Hey guyyyys!! I'm baaack with a fresh batch of Laurance angst brought to you by "I really like this random design detail and will try my damnedest to make it make sense." The design detail in question is heterochromia!
Today's programming involves discussion of torture and probably some body horror
So, I'm a big believer in heterochromatic Laurance. It's just real to me. Because honestly both of his very distinct looks are serving cunt in very distinct Laurance Zvahl ways. I have a preference for his original appearance because I have a few bones to pick with Jessica's design decisions, but the pale blue and even blind eyes fit Laurance really well.
In a separate iteration of Laurance I made him lose one of his eyes before the rebirth process, so his heterochromia was unrelated to the whole pseudo-zombie thing. But in MCD... Well... Everything comes back to Shadow Knights.
Little Larry has beautiful emerald green eyes that then get utterly destroyed by the cruelness of the hell he willingly threw himself into to save those he loves. And uhhh, Laurance in canon says he was tortured down there. So let's get into that, shall we? Now, a thing about torture methods is that there's a lot of them, they're really easy to come up with if you have even a slightly sadistic mindset, and they are often focused. Most people who frequently engage in torture chose one field of the body to focus on.
Now let's look at Gene. Obviously for his magical and psychological torture, his focus is on the mind. But what about his physical methods? Obviously Gene gets his kicks out of people in pain, yet I think his real focus is when it gets personal. When someone isn't just in pain, but they are crying, shaking, writhing in agony while staring up at him cursing his bloodline. The eyes are the window into the mind and they say so much that the mouth can't when words fail or are restricted.
Gene focuses on eyes. He remembers them. They haunt him. When he's learning how to break people, he learns how to use their very sense of sight against them. It's already what he knows how to do with his magic and extreme gaslighting tactics. If he has a focus, if he has a piece of information he needs, and he has a target, then he'll focus on the eyes. If he, for example, thinks that Laurance has more information on either realm barriers or Aphmau, who is quickly becoming a point of interest for the Shadow King, then he'll have a reason.
But he can't possibly permanently ruin both of Laurance's eyes. He still needs another for at least semi-proper comprehension of how fucked he is. Gene doesn't need more than one eye. And I like to characterize Gene as a bit of a mad scientist, testing out his magic and Shadow Knight powers in extreme and unhinged ways.
Who knows what he did to Laurance's eye, what happened when he destroyed it and regenerative powers brought it back over and over. What effects traversing between realms had on whatever the fuck Gene did to make it so bad it didn't even resemble his original eye color.
Irene's blessing is able to mitigate the damage on his other eye, the one that was only blinded by realm travel, and bring it almost back to its original state. A pale sage color that has partial but still restricted vision. Laurance is grateful for what little eyesight he has. His other eye, the one Gene targeted... It doesn't come back. After the realm barrier blinded it, there was no undoing the damage anymore. It remains a cloudy pale blue, scars running across the skin around it and through his retinas.
I want to make it clear that Laurance isn't ashamed of this. He doesn't try to hide his eye, but he is cagey to answer questions about it. Most people are smart enough not to question, and he'll open up to the people he cares about (ie Garroth and Aphmau) when he's ready. I have a whole arc related to his blindness that's a whole side blog post I'm working on, but Laurance doesn't forsake the sight he has and he also doesn't lament what he's lost.
"Cad[endza] and Aphmau keep saying they want to bring my sight back. [I] know they mean well but... I can't tell them what happened. I don't think either one of them could take it. Garroth might be able to, but I don't think either of us trust each other enough for that conversation yet. I don't need my eyesight back, and I don't need anyone to fix my left eye. If they knew what that monster did, they would be grateful I have an eye to be blinded.
He doesn't encourage anyone to try and bring it back, and he might even get upset if they're too insistent about it. He's not exactly eager for another magic user to get their hands too close to an already severely damaged eye. He might not say it out loud to someone, but... [blinks my gay little eyes] There's a page in his journal that reads--

I was reading your comments about Jon's chivalry and protecting the vulnerable. This all brought to mind Jon's TV ending of stabbing Dany in the heart while kissing her. While we don't know whether or not this version of Dany's end is close to what will be the written version, it seems as though it's possible in part because of the Nissa Nissa legend. Jon doing that in the books (or something like it) would align with the Azor Ahai story, but in a warped sort of way, leaving events open to interpretation (as is usual with the prophecies and legends). But in any case, Jon killing a woman will be an act that is antithetical to so many of his values that it seems like it would come close to destroying him even if justified within Jon's universe. I wonder if Martin really plans to bring Jon this low, but also how it will be received. The optics of portraying such an ending for Dany given today's sensibilities could be viewed even more dimly than it would have been when Martin started writing the series?
(about this ask)
I'm so sorry that it's taken me this long to respond! I have finally reread some pertinent chapters to situate my thoughts.
First, I just want to acknowledge how upsetting this spec is to some, and remind everyone, no one wants this ending. We all think it's gross, we're just discussing the possibility, not merely because of the show, because it's an old theory. I looked around and saw posts about this starting in 2013 by Dany fans. So, the presence of this myth is substantial enough, even BNFs/Jonerys shippers felt like it had a strong chance of manifesting (although they believe Dany would willingly sacrifice herself) well before D&D committed their fuckery. I suppose all that answers your question. Man killing his lover is a gross trope, being forced to kill a loved one to save the world is overused, so now, I can't imagine anyone reading it and being happy about it.
In trying to look at the context in-canon Martin has created, he's taken it out of the strict man kills lover idea of the AA/NN myth, and is discussing the idea of sacrificing an innocent child to a god which fans have already compared to myth, Stannis & Shireen = Agamemnon & Iphigeneia. This sacrifice hasn't happened yet, but it's been confirmed as a Martin plot point. Stannis is already burning people alive, justifying kid killing, and Davos has already planted the Stannis=AA, kid=NN idea:
Davos was remembering a tale Salladhor Saan had told him, of how Azor Ahai tempered Lightbringer by thrusting it through the heart of the wife he loved. He slew his wife to fight the dark. If Stannis is Azor Ahai come again, does that mean Edric Storm must play the part of Nissa Nissa? (ASOS, Davos V)
Although, rather than this being a justified death, the fans will be horrified as we're meant to be. Davos' thoughts call into question the idea of killing another for your "magic sword":
A true sword of fire, now, that would be a wonder to behold. Yet at such a cost . . . When he thought of Nissa Nissa, it was his own Marya he pictured, a good-natured plump woman with sagging breasts and a kindly smile, the best woman in the world. He tried to picture himself driving a sword through her, and shuddered. I am not made of the stuff of heroes, he decided. If that was the price of a magic sword, it was more than he cared to pay. (ACOK, Davos I)
and Martin impresses upon us the value of each life:
"Your Grace," said Davos, "the cost . . ." "I know the cost! Last night, gazing into that hearth, I saw things in the flames as well. I saw a king, a crown of fire on his brows, burning . . . burning, Davos. His own crown consumed his flesh and turned him into ash. Do you think I need Melisandre to tell me what that means? Or you?" The king moved, so his shadow fell upon King's Landing. "If Joffrey should die . . . what is the life of one bastard boy against a kingdom?" "Everything," said Davos, softly. (ASOS, Davos V)
The talk of greater good/killing kids reminds me of AGOT in which Ned's story is inundated with the topic of child murder/protecting kids. We have Mycah, his memories of Aegon and Rhaenys, his promise to protect Jon, his guilt over his lies and treason bubbling up repeatedly, his fight against the assassination of Dany, his attempt to save Cersei's children from Robert...we all know, kid killing is wrong according to Martin, so we've already been told that this wannabe AA's actions are contemptible. The myth in which the sacrifice is happy to die, that sacrificing someone is heroic, it's being contradicted by what we're being shown in the Stannis storyline.
Now, while Stannis is being declared Azor Ahai, we're constantly being told he isn't. Jon calls the act a mummer's farce and comments on his cold sword and that is right before a Dany chapter, so the idea is, Dany is actually AA. @trinuviel is the first person I saw lay out the argument for that and contend that being AA is a bad thing (meta parts 1, 2, 3). People have said that Drogo kinda becomes her Nissa Nissa in that scenario. She burns him to get the dragons, and what are the dragons called?
"When I went to the Hall of a Thousand Thrones to beg the Pureborn for your life, I said that you were no more than a child," Xaro went on, "but Egon Emeros the Exquisite rose and said, 'She is a foolish child, mad and heedless and too dangerous to live.' When your dragons were small they were a wonder. Grown, they are death and devastation, a flaming sword above the world." He wiped away the tears. "I should have slain you in Qarth." (ADWD, Daenerys III)
That kinda makes us think, oh, the myth already has a canon counterpart, don't need to worry about it anymore. Only, we've also said Rhaegar impregnating a young Lyanna could be read as a play on Nissa Nissa, with him risking her life to get the prophecy baby, otherwise known as the third head of the dragon. And Jon is not only a kind of dragon, he repeatedly intones that fun little phrase about being a sword, and sometimes, that happens within an interesting context (for speculation purposes):
"I will." Do not fail me, he thought, or Stannis will have my head. "Do I have your word that you will keep our princess closely?" the king had said, and Jon had promised that he would. Val is no princess, though. I told him that half a hundred times. It was a feeble sort of evasion, a sad rag wrapped around his wounded word. His father would never have approved. I am the sword that guards the realm of men, Jon reminded himself, and in the end, that must be worth more than one man's honor. (ADWD, Jon VIII)
So, although there is one character that seems to be Azor Ahai (Dany), I am definitely open to the myth manifesting, or rather, being examined from multiple angles. IMO, that's what Martin is doing and we can use each variation to reassess what he's saying with it. We have Dany and Drogo (the official one/successful one), Rhaegar and Lyanna (not AA, but Jon is born), Stannis and Edric (denied), Stannis and Shireen (he will kill Shireen, but we don't know if he'll get what he wants and we do know he isn't AA)... lots of pics of a similar idea. To emphasize Stannis not being the dude and Dany being the "real" AA, we have that Jon passage and chapter transition:
Tumblr media
Even though we have lots of contenders and commentary about this myth with the canon characters, none of it romanticizes human sacrifice, and all works towards the twist that what is said to be a hero/the weapon that will save people brings destruction. If we look back at it critically, Dany has a habit of accepting, or even causing, the suffering of others for her greater good, including sacrificing Mirri to get her dragons. We might even argue that Mirri is a Nissa Nissa for her, as Dany had taken Mirri under her protection before killing her to get dragons.
That being said, even though we're getting told this shit is bad in canon, the indictment of killing innocents and people who depend on you to protect them, it wouldn’t apply if someone were to kill Stannis or Dany. It isn’t on the same moral level as killing a child, or a spouse who loves and trusts you. It isn't the same as invading and then killing people who won't worship your god or accept you as a leader. It isn't the same as killing a slave, simply because, when their times come, Dany and Stannis will be guilty. After their actions, it would be justice for them to die. I think why other parts of the fandom entertain the idea of Dany as NN while also condemning us for entertaining it, is that Dany's vision does have her being grasped at by hands of her "children" and fans have this idea that she is sacrificing herself/her happiness for the greater good already, and in the AA/Nissa Nissa story, it does sound like she offers herself willingly for the tempering of the sword. So to them, it’s part of Dany’s heroism. Dany's death is inevitable to some, at the hands of Jon is ok, but her not dying a hero, that's unacceptable.
But thinking about how it's been discussed thus far, I can't imagine we're gonna get a romanticized version of the AA/NN myth in canon when so far, it's pretty dark/condemned. None of that precludes Jon killing Dany in what you described as a:
warped sort of way, leaving events open to interpretation (as is usual with the prophecies and legends).
which really sticks out to me as the important part of all this.
The idea that Jon might do it and characters recognize it as a tragic love story a la the myth, that fascinates me because of how Martin has written wild rumors into the story (rumors about Dany, Robb, and Sansa spring to mind), and some of us have written reality and what the public thinks into fic as two distinct things because it feels like a potential way the story might go. What is widely known to be true, like say, Jon being Ned's bastard, may not be the truth that we the readers come to know. There's no guarantee that Westeros will know what the readers know about past or future events. We may get a take on AA/NN, the characters in-world may not understand it the same way.
Jon is undeniably a hero, in a world where institutional corruption is rampant and ideals abandoned, he’s a standout in his values. We would expect, and we find, contrasts between him and these other characters (Dany, Rhaegar, Stannis), primarily, his practical actions that are about saving life/protecting life, even from Stannis, so the idea that he would abandon certain values, it's a tough one. The difference is, while Stannis, Rhaegar, and Dany were acting on these prophecies or visions or dreams, things we're repeatedly warned against trusting in the text, Jon would be taking action based on the fact that Dany is a mass-murderer, a threat to all of Westeros. It isn't a sacrifice to an unknown god for some promised mystical good, it's justice. The religious fanaticism wouldn't be a factor, the killing of an innocent wouldn't be a factor, killing a child wouldn't be a factor, killing to achieve a self-serving end wouldn't be a factor. All the things that have been criticized thus far aren't at play.
The moral quandary presented to the audience in AGOT is killing someone who might be a threat, but is a child at the moment, and Martin presents the sneaky assassination / child killing as abhorrent:
Grand Maester Pycelle cleared his throat, a process that seemed to take some minutes. "My order serves the realm, not the ruler. Once I counseled King Aerys as loyally as I counsel King Robert now, so I bear this girl child of his no ill will. Yet I ask you this—should war come again, how many soldiers will die? How many towns will burn? How many children will be ripped from their mothers to perish on the end of a spear?" He stroked his luxuriant white beard, infinitely sad, infinitely weary. "Is it not wiser, even kinder, that Daenerys Targaryen should die now so that tens of thousands might live?" "Kinder," Varys said. "Oh, well and truly spoken, Grand Maester. It is so true. Should the gods in their caprice grant Daenerys Targaryen a son, the realm must bleed." Littlefinger was the last. As Ned looked to him, Lord Petyr stifled a yawn. "When you find yourself in bed with an ugly woman, the best thing to do is close your eyes and get on with it," he declared. "Waiting won't make the maid any prettier. Kiss her and be done with it." "Kiss her?" Ser Barristan repeated, aghast. "A steel kiss," said Littlefinger. (AGOT, Eddard VIII)
which is all interesting context for Dany later being assassinated, especially because the first lesson Martin gives us on justice is one that Jon is there for, and then is reiterated in relation to Dany:
Ned had heard enough. "You send hired knives to kill a fourteen-year-old girl and still quibble about honor?" He pushed back his chair and stood. "Do it yourself, Robert. The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword. Look her in the eyes before you kill her. See her tears, hear her last words. You owe her that much at least." (AGOT, Eddard VIII)
The convo about killing Dany with LF is about a bedding and before that it was presented in terms of a wedding gift, which makes me squint now knowing the AA/NN stuff:
Tumblr media
Yes, it's awful, and I do understand, almost agree with you here:
But in any case, Jon killing a woman will be an act that is antithetical to so many of his values that it seems like it would come close to destroying him even if justified within Jon's universe.
but the way it might tie together the initial discussion of killing Dany and the eventual act weighs heavily with me when determining what Martin might do and why/why not.
The other suggestion is that Arya kills Dany. If having dragons is Chechov's gun for KL burning then Arya being a trained assassin feels like a Chechov's gun for killing Dany. But in that scenario, there is no conflict. No inner struggle. We spent so much of AGOT weighing the morals of killing Dany, it's hard for me to believe when the time comes, it's presented without any moral complexity. Arya is already able and willing to take a life, even when it isn't justified. It doesn't feel right to me that killing Dany would be a presented without an inner struggle, that it would be done easily, as easily as Arya now kills. TBH, it removes the drama if someone other than Jon does it because it will be so highly necessary and just when the time comes. Jon is really the only character who can make it squeamish because of the guy killing a woman thing and because it will be kinslaying.
There is a lot of talk about poison, so I think it's totally possible Arya tries to kill Dany with poison first, but I think Jon is more likely to be the one to successfully kill her, and in a way that calls to mind Ned's opinion on it, See her tears, hear her last words. That would allow Martin to make sure we see it as just/moral, bring home the Targ v Targ issue, and it shades Ned's decisions and values in a very interesting way.
After s8 fans said Ned was wrong to fight against killing Dany in s1, but Martin thinks he was right to object to killing children, so for the two Targ children he was protecting in AGOT (Dany and Jon) to come face to face and one kill the other prevents the conclusion that Ned was wrong. It was the same mercy, the same refusal to see the child of an enemy as an enemy, that saved the boy who will in turn save Westeros. IMO, it's a way to uphold the belief in mercy. I tend to think it’s also Martin’s way of addressing one his questions about his beloved LOTR (what about orc babies etc).
If another person ends Dany, we still get dead Dany, but it doesn't say anything interesting? Killing her wouldn't be a sacrifice on anyone else's part, she won’t be loved and she has to go. But, Jon, who so desperately wants to have honor, if he kills her, it's right as well as an egregious "sin." Ned dishonors himself to protect Sansa (and obvy was committing treason to protect Jon), it feels like coming full circle for Jon, who so wants to be worthy of being a son to Ned to follow his path there too. Also, one thing I expect we’ll keep tracking is kinslaying. Kinslaying comes up with the AA/Nissa Nissa issue in the Stannis storyline, so I do expect that to be addressed in Jon chapters:
Tumblr media
We have the whole baby switch to assure us, Jon values human life a great deal. All the same, that involves a moment of cruelty on Jon's side, so Martin isn't interested in keeping him perfectly pure. He likes those moments where doing the right thing is very difficult, even compromising in some way. It's why, while we say Ned committing treason for Jon is a no brainer, Martin writes Ned tortured by it. He likes the inner turmoil over decisions, placing a societal good (honor) against another obligation or ideal and asking what is right.
I wonder if Martin really plans to bring Jon this low, but also how it will be received. The optics of portraying such an ending for Dany given today's sensibilities could be viewed even more dimly than it would have been when Martin started writing the series?
Despite all the ways I think it makes sense, yes, I def think this is one of those areas that if he had finished the series as quickly as he'd hoped, would have gone over better. Dany has dragons, therefore, she will be an overwhelming threat to Westeros, so it isn't like Jon will just randomly kill a woman, yet it's distasteful all the same. Martin is looking at things from the context of his story and the ideas he’s already introduced/talking about though which is why I can wince but kinda understand it. There are other issues where my sensibilities diverge from his, so didn’t like it on the show, I don’t like it for the books, still think it’s probably gonna happen. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Self-fulfilling prophecies, or: I think Rumple and Blue messed up big time, folks
Disclaimer: I am a comparatively recent OUAT fan, so while smarter people probably thought this through before I even watched the show, I have never seen it happen and thus can't know if I'm stating the obvious. Please bear with me, this is going to be a long post.
So prophecies! OUAT has a lot of those. There is an entire wiki section about them, and most of the early ones are offered to us by Rumpelstiltskin, because as we know, he gained the power of foresight from the Seer. But what exactly did said Seer tell Rumple, when she relinquished her power to him?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What we gather from the (cryptic) explanations that we get is that with foresight, you can see all the ways the future might untangle, and practising+physically approaching the time of the events make you able to discern which of those paths will ultimately be the right one. Bae's destiny after the Seer's first on-screen prophecy proves that while the future is highly dependent on people's actions, they cannot forcefully steer it in the direction they want - Rumple thought he could avoid losing his son by crippling himself, but in doing so he followed EXACTLY the road that had been paved for him.
We don't know, however, what would have happened if he hadn't spoken to the Seer. SHE knew, presumably, that by drawing him close she would put the doubt in his mind, but it's unclear whether he would have still left his son fatherless by dying on the battlefield or something entirely different would have happened. We don't know - and Rumple doesn't, either.
Here's the catch, though: everything he does in the first few seasons follows the same pattern of that night in the army, blindly assuming that it makes a difference. He micromanages every main character's life because he sees them as pieces of the bridge he HAS to build to reach Bae. He doesn't account for things going wrong because he thinks they can't, and he's fucking EVERYWHERE anyway, so nothing can slip out of his fingers.
But what if THAT is what actually cements this timeline as the "definitive" one? The Seer told him he would find his son again, he could have simply bid his time and waited knowing this would be the result anyway. When his first apprentice disappoints him as the curse-caster, Regina and her grudges still happen, after all. He probably didn't need to do anything to ensure it - if he'd just leaned back and spun his little wheel, the future would have come around on its own, one way or another. But he doesn't, and instead sets in motion a very specific chain of events, and thus the show happens.
Why would he do that? Maybe he didn't learn how to parse through his visions correctly and he thinks this is a "will be" future and not a "can be" one. Maybe that first prophecy didn't teach him anything, and he still thinks he can cheat destiny (as proven by the fact that when learning that a boy will be his undoing, he refuses to accept it, believing he can just kill said boy before it happens). Maybe he thinks he's like MCU Doctor Strange, who sees thousands of possible outcomes and makes sure the one that leads him to Bae the quickest will happen. I have no clue. But what I think has happened is that for any of these reasons, he made this destiny happen by KNOWING it would happen (or believing it would, as you'd have it), thus fulfilling the prophecy by willingly acting on it.
So Rumple fucked himself over, big deal. We have seen it happen multiple times after s3. But you know who else might have unknowingly led the future where she thought it'd go, in this endless loop we have just described?
Tumblr media
At this point in the story we don't really have proof of whether Blue has prophetic powers of her own or she's just going off Rumple's words, but it does seem to me that the way she's telling the story has a bit more nuance than his version did during the Charmings' visit to the cell. So either she went back to pry further, from a man that she generally does NOT trust...or somehow, she's autonomously privy to details most of the others don't have.
But what does she DO with that knowledge? Does she work with what she has to guarantee Emma will fulfil her destiny? Does she trace very clear boundaries for everyone to stay within to adhere to her plan? No. She lets Geppetto convince her to lie. She allows him to risk jeopardizing the safety of an ENTIRE kingdom in the span of five minutes, which makes no fucking sense considering she has never shied away from weaponizing her influence for the sake of what she thinks is the greater good (which in turn is what made people think she was the villain all along, but I digress).
Moreover, some of my friends once had a discussion that, everything else aside, made me realize how fucking dumb it was of Blue to just LEAVE when Geppetto had threatened to do as he pleased with the wardrobe. What kinda preparations did she have to do, literal HOURS before a curse where she would lose all her free will and magic anyway? It was pointless at best, detrimental at worst, and the way I see it, PREMEDITATED to begin with, because while I utterly despise Blue and would have no problem calling her an idiot, this would objectively be a bad move. She could have literally lied to Geppetto about what kind of person could go in the wardrobe, or used magic to prevent the worst from happening. She has done similar things, before AND after that moment.
If she indeed knew, either because of Rumple or her own abilities, how shit was "meant" to go down, it's not too far-fetched to assume she might have acted accordingly in an attempt to guarantee the success of this plan. Even if there had been other possible paths to take, e.g. worlds where Emma might have gone to the LWM with either of her parents, and EVEN IF Rumple hadn't already prevented those variables from happening by that point...if Blue thought the only way for it to work was to stick to the timeline she had envisioned, then there was nothing anyone else could do.
To sum up this theory: Rumple sees the chain of events that develops through show canon, and either decides or mistakenly believes it will be made true, putting all his effort into ensuring it does. Blue makes the same mistake (depending on how you see it, obviously) and instead of forcing people's hands to change the course, allows Geppetto to make what she thinks is an unavoidable decision. By doing so, BOTH of them fulfil what they think is an already written future, but might have still only been one of the various options available among endless variables.
Besides, if they HAD realized that they'd fucked up in hindsight, I doubt they would have admitted to it. It would have been too late by then: knowing them, they would have felt forced to stick to their guns, to avoid considering the possibility to have made a mistake - ESPECIALLY Blue, who was already responsible for the start of this avalanche, what with giving Bae the bean and suggesting the curse to Rumple. It's hard to believe they would have been able to live with themselves, if they'd taken the option into account.
And in the end, what are the results of this proactive decision? Rumple and Bae's reunion is angry, unsatisfying and with catastrophic consequences for the whole family. Emma grows up alone, forced into a destiny she did not sign up for, having been ten minutes old at best. And as for the third victim of prophetic crimes...
Tumblr media
Without these beliefs, solid or imaginary that they might be, there is a chance nothing would have gone as we know: the 28 years gap might have meant something else entirely, a lot of people would have been spared the pain, and an external hand would have prevented Pinocchio from being sent on an impossible mission, with a baby and no tools to navigate this world in his hands. Another child lost to the Land Without Magic as a pawn in a game played by two magic users who each thought they were outwitting the other - at least Emma got to grow and heal throughout the show, as an ADULT.
Did Pinocchio?
(OOF. This is almost certainly not what the writers had in mind when they planned the plot of this series. I am, unfortunately, aware of that. But I still think it's worth being put into words as a theory - I probably didn't formulate it as coherently as I hoped, but maybe the message will still filter through, despite the fact that I am 1) overtly verbose 2) tragically Italian. Unforgivable sins, both of them LMAO)

(Tw: Starkercest, Peter is 17)
Scientist! Tony and his son peter who's simply a long for the ride of a work day.
Gosh I haven't written this much (or posted, really) for a while--it feels good though to get back into it :)
So much starkercest, ha!
Word count: 2,716
-- -- --
"Pardon my asking Doctor, but who's the new member?" A particularly brute looking general chimed out. His scar riddled, chiseled face was red like a ripe tomato--no doubt from the yelling he'd done just 10 minutes prior in the hall.
Tony hummed and wrapped a loose arm around the boy beside him,
"What does it matter? He's with me, that's all."
The man glared and slapped his hand down on the packet of papers in front of him, as well as in front of every other highly classified personnel sitting around the ovular table.
"It matters because of context, Dr. Stark. What we speak of is classified, confidential, even harmful to the general public as well as the national world if anything in this room gets out." Then came a huff of smokey air from his nose, if it were possible that is.
"--is he even certified? He look's 12."
Tony's lip twitched as he let his fingers caress up and down the boy beside him's navy colored jacket.
"If you really must insist on knowing, he's my son. And he's 17, not 12." he corrected, enjoying the way the generals face contorted even more, looking much more ugly than he already did.
"Why is he here?"
All eyes were on him--well, of the people who were here. The meeting didn't start for another 15 minutes, but he had figured it would be best to show up early in case someone found it within themselves to strike up a conversation. He'd hoped for something a little more interesting though since exasperating authority figures never really did it for him.
"School was out and I didn't want to leave him. Terrible nightmare you see.." Tony cooed and leaned over, pulling the boy closer in order to place a soft kiss atop his head of soft brown curls.
Peter may be 17, but that didn't mean that he wasn't a Daddy's boy. His vigor to retort against anything his father said had left him early on, and thus--here they were. Tony taking care of his precious, smart little boy, and Peter, willingly receiving it.
Tony didn't ever want to give up the power he had because the sweet sickening madness that erupted in him at the idea of Peter growing up--leaving to never return except for on holidays and birthdays..
Well, one birthday to be exact. His own--and perhaps his friends if they are still around town, but that was besides the point.
The point is, Tony liked being needed. He figured if he wasn't, his job and the life he's made up until now would hold very little value--and if the states knew what was good for them, they wouldn't ever want that to happen.
Painted pictures of dystopian worlds passed across the inner workings of his mind, but when he took a deep breath of Peter, it all went away. It always did.
"The kid can be left at home can't he? Mine loves it when me and the wife are out of the house--" and he was becoming bored as the man spoke on further.
"17's old enough to get a job--and 18, well..you know how that goes. Fly the coup and never return..." and the man squinted, no doubt peering at the badge that rested against his son's left breast pocket.
"Isn't that right Peter?"
Tony felt his son stiffen for only a moment as he watched the typing on the screen below the table stop mid-sentence.
Looks like he's texting his friend about his Spanish test coming up..
"Daddy I need to use the bathroom, could you show me the way?"
Tony's ears perked and his stomach lurched in the same way his legs did. Quickly, and automatically at the mere mention of a desire coming from his son's soft lips.
"Of course." He murmured before turning to the blush red general, "I hate to cut this conversation short but I do believe that's my cue."
As they made their way out of the room, a hand of his own placed currently in-between Peter's shoulder blades, he heard the man muttering about his son's particularly dated word choice.
Oh how wonderful it felt to be needed...
"Those men..I don't know how you put up with them Daddy. I knew you said they were annoying but..jeez! How rude.."
Tony chuckled and rubbed his sons back, "Yes well, I have to work with them. They're normally not so rowdy. I think you must be such a star they can't help but notice you." He purred, leaning in close enough to Peter's ear to make him giggle.
"Too pretty." His son started.
"Too good.." he returned, nipping his son's ear with his hot, hard breath as they entered the empty bathroom.
"Now go pee, I can't be late no matter how horrid my workmates can be. The president wouldn't be too pleased at the unprofessional display."
Tony glanced at himself in the mirror and fixed a couple hairs that had fallen out of place. The grey's were much more noticeable, but Peter told him he liked it, so they stayed.
The wrinkles that formed beside his eyes were also more defined than they had been 5 years ago, but Peter said he liked those too. He'd also taken his hand while they were eating dessert with a movie and told him he liked the spots on his hands that signified his age. Told him how much he enjoyed his Dad's old sense of humor and horrid dance moves..
Sniffling, he felt his eye twitch as the memories flooded by. Peter loved him like no other, and he..he couldn't..
"Daddy?" Came Peter's shy, hesitant voice--only this time it was filled with concern.
I'm fine, he thought, but turned to Peter and ushered him towards one of the sinks.
"I'm fine, don't worry." He reassured, standing now right behind his precious boy as the sink water flowed.
Peter pressed back into him suddenly, leaving him to be a bit shocked, but he tried to act unfazed.
his boy was also always so..touchy. It wasn't like he'd ever complain, but the way he spoke sometimes..
The way he'd taken to adjusting himself way too many times during their last movie night. It had gotten a bit..heated on his end. It was a physical reaction though--nothing out of the ordinary.
"Mm..Daddy.." Peter practically moaned, letting his hands rest in the hot water that was slowly turning his son's hands red. Tony reached out, grabbing them with his much larger pair, and pulled them away before they could start to hurt.
"What is it baby?"
Peter seemed to think as he swayed on his feet, body pressed against Tony's, and his eye's half lidded.
"Can we get ice cream after this before we head back to the lab?"
How peculiar, though he had no reason to say no, so he didn't. He couldn't ever seem to find the two letter word in his vocabulary when it came to his sweet precious boy.
That smile..and the adorable little noises and flush that fell over his son's cheeks was to die for.
They eventually made it back into the room 5 minutes before the meeting was due to start, and he was glad to see that the general didn't have enough heat inside of him to utter anything else.
Well, except for 'thank you', but that was his job--not anything particularly personal.
-- --
"Thank you for the ice cream Daddy.."
Tony spared a glance over at his son who was currently devouring his double scooped chocolate hazelnut, and smiled. How precious he was in moments like these. The shine in his eye and the way the chocolate seemed to always make its way all and around his mouth. He loved it to no end, and that was somehow still an understatement.
"Of course baby. Can't say no now can I?"
Had he ever?
"Can uh.." and the voice sounded nervous which only inclined for Tony to want to know more.
"Can I sit in your lap?"
The request was stark and strange to his ears, as he hadn't ever heard it before-or at least in well over a decade. Peter? In his lap?
Tony glanced down at the space between him and the steering wheel, and remembered the same elated feeling he'd been filled with when his son had practically worked his way up against him during movie night.
He reached to his side and heard the soft, familiar hum of his seat inching back to create more space. Tony wasn't doing it without knowing if his boy would fit though--no no no, he'd had one too many delectable women in his lap before.
Within the past couple years not as much though, for reasons unbeknownst to him still, but that was neither here nor there.
"Sure Pete, put your ice cream on the dashboard so it doesn't spill."
His heart thudded when his son began to move--skittish and awkward, but move nonetheless.
He grunted from the pressure of a boy resting on his, but soon was facing his boy head on. knee on either side of him--and a hand resting on his shoulder while he turned to grab his cup full of ice cream. Tony had never been a fan of the cones in the car. Too messy..too unpredictable.
Much like his son was right now come to think of it.
Tony hummed and took a few spoonfuls into his mouth when he spotted Peter staring--more than he usually did.
"Something wrong? Ice cream on my face or something?" He questioned, and suddenly looked down to find a hand resting against his side.
"And don't drip any of that on my suit--I can't be running home to get a new one, okay?"
"What about your change at the lab?--"
Tony eye'd him with a quirked brow in unison, "The one at the lab's for the lab, you know this."
Peter nodded and leaned back against the wheel behind him--momentarily puzzling Tony as to how the horn wasn't doing off. Perhaps they were just lucky because whatever entities from above knew that he didn't want a lick of attention on him right now.
This feeling he had..which was pounding harder and harder every second that his son was on his lap, was strange to say the least. It left him twitchy, and with a hot collar he wanted to loosen.
Perhaps he needed to get laid if physical touch such as this was getting him bothered. Perhaps even more, he should've said no.
No..what a blunt word. He often pondered it at night when he had the sudden urge to sneak into his son's room at night, or when he wanted to hide him away in their fancy, yet moderately normal looking home, never to be seen again.
When he wanted to wrap him up and kiss him for doing so good--or when he wanted even more to hit him when he'd been bad.
There were a lot of thing's Tony said no to.
Tony took another bite of cold coffee flavored ice cream, wishing dearly that it might soothe the growing heat within himself.
The urge to grab--to touch--to rip and pry..
He took another bite and licked his spoon in the process.
To see tears in those precious dark-brown bambi eyes.
"Daddy?" Came the familiar voice of concern yet again, now knocking him out of whatever deep seated monstrous thoughts he'd just been having.
"Yes dear?"
Peter squirmed a bit, and put his delicate hand on his belly, making Tony's breath startle just a tad.
"I know you said some of the lab techs make fun of you for having a dad bod but..I think it's nice." The boy smiled out, his tone light and breezy, innocent as can be.
"I like it."
he chuckled almost immediately after the words were spoken as he took yet another bite, now coming sadly to the end of his dearly beloved treat.
"What?" Peter accused, now pouting around an empty plastic spoon.
"Oh nothing bad sweetheart, I swear. I just think it's sweet how you tell me how much you like things, that's all." He brought his hand innocently up to brush a hair out of the way of his son's face, and hummed deeply.
Peter eye'd him nervously once more, "Do you like it?"
What a wonderfully complex question. To what regard? He wasn't sure. He think's a less than innocent part of himself liked it more than he does right now, but it's all the same, isn't it?
"Oh of course I do. Sometimes I wonder if I like it too much."
Peter shifted again, getting closer to himself as both of their empty ice cream containers now rested in the passenger seat. His arms  quickly wrapped around his hips, digging behind him and grazing against the seat no doubt as Tony felt like one of those sloths on the nature channel.
he felt latched onto--suckered into this strange, new, startling situation in which his son was hugging him, whilst his own cock was in fact, erect in between them.
How peculiar, he thought, as he wrapped his own arms around the sweet boy in front of him.
How glaringly devious of him to ignore the way Peter's breath caught after a subtle movement.
Tony held still, merely letting his body lie still in use of whatever situation was transpiring before him.
"Just.." Peter uttered wetly with another subtle brush, "Just like the videos daddy..Watch em just to i-imagine you."
What a positively corrosive ego boost that was.
"Oh really? Won't you tell me what happens next?" He cooed persuasively, letting his hands continue to merely sooth--now eternally grateful for the illegal tint that he had on his glass.
being the most popular mad scientist of the government world did have its occasional perks. not that it's a popularity contest in the slightest--though he was the smartest.
"T-The daddy he..he's all sweet but..then he.." and Peter whimpers, brushing his erection against his own larger one.
"..he's mean."
Mean, you say?
"With the..um.." and Peter's fingers wrapped around and tugged at Tony's belt, making he himself shiver at the possibility.
Such a perfect deviant.
"Would you like it if Daddy hit you with the belt Peter? Have you been a bad boy recently?"
Peter shuddered, a cry reaching out from his throat to take hold of his soothingly harsh worlds as he nodded against Tony's shoulder.
"U-uh huh.."
Tony let out a gentle breath, followed by a subtle hummed grunt.
"And what is it that you did, to make you so terribly deserving of such a punishment?"
"A boy--a-at school. He..I..we kissed behind the school, after class. He'd offered me a cigarette and when I said n-no cause you'd be real mad if I did that..he told me I could get a taste of it from him."
Hm, yes, Tony though, I would be rather upset. Perhaps one of those punk seniors thought to get a handle on his junior year aged son.
He continued to comfort his boy through the subtle cries and soon, even his climax.. now letting his shaking son breath hot puffs of air out against his suit jacket covered shoulder.
Perhaps, Tony thought as he pulled Peter closer, he should've said no. This feeling he had..this loose string of fear from the secret they both now held between them. He wished he could be so oblivious as to think it was okay, but he knew it wasn't. He knew it was dark and twisted--unfavored by the masses, but in moments when the little crying voice in his mind wasn't spewing out regrets, he wondered what life could be like.
"I'm glad you told me what was on your mind..seems like that was a lot to keep in, huh?" A sleepy nod could be felt only making him hold him tighter.
To never touch his boy in ways that were inherently malicious.. but rather to merely allow peter to use him..
Need him..
"I love you baby." he whispered against the head of soft curls, now taking in a deep, soothing breath while kissing the area for good measure.
-- -- --
Tony is definitely dealing with something mentally--but he can't really put his finger on it--and neither can I XD Poor poor Tony..always in so much anguish. Perhaps I should write something a tad bit more cheerful next time, yeah?
Sorry the belt scene isn't in here either-- I wanted to make sure this actually got posted as opposed to sitting in my drafts (like literally so many other things XD) So perhaps Tony wielding a belt will make it's appearance another time?
Hope you all enjoyed that, if you've made it to the end :)

I think I should correct some misinformation.
The Daeun rumour didn't start back then while they were doing their US concerts. That was a different rumour and it was about Jimin dating Kwon Eunbi. It was based on clouds looking similar but the whole rumour was debunked very quickly. Although everyone please look at her recent photoshoot with Calvin Klein. Damn. My pansexual ass wouldn't mind her dating Jimin, not gonna lie. 🤭 Anyways after the Eunbi rumour was debunked, people switched to Eunbi's friend Jung Yein. Because she used the chick emoji. But once again the rumour was debunked very fast and was quickly forgotten.
Now, the Daeun rumour is something else. It started out as nothing but seems questionable now. The rumour came from the DC galleries, specifically from the Season's Greetings one, a well known Jimin anti forum. They started to link her to him due to matching, but not the same, jewellery, due to her being at the same football match as Hoseok and Jimin but on the opposite side of the stadium and due to her being friends with a comedian that claimed Jimin as her bias. So very much nothing.
It still made some waves but was not taken seriously by the Korean side. On international side obviously Taekooker pushed that rumour. So Daeun was harassed. So much that she threatened to sue the people who wrote nasty dms to her because of the rumour. Apparently she denied knowing him personally during one of her Instagram lives. I say apparently because that's only hearsay and there's no proof.
Now a couple of months ago some things changed. She posted some pictures while doing a Q&A, she later on deleted the pictures. On those pictures we could see her dinner. Prepared on the same plates Jimin has, with the same pot on the same looking counter top. Obviously people immediately jumped on it. Especially because in the same Q&A she posted a video of her dog that was clearly taken in an apartment in the Nineone complex. People brushed it off though because the couch was different to Jimin's.
Yesterday though she posted another video of her dog that showed the dog on a rug. The same rug we saw in Jimin's wlive on September 1st. With the same flooring underneath the rug. And that is what make people question now if the rumour is really just a rumour or if there's more.
One thing though, if Jimin is actually dating her, it would make him a bit more questionable. Daeun was involved in the Burning Sun scandal. If you don't know what the Burning Sun scandal is, please google it.
So far, I have heard a lot of inconsequential "evidence" that very well be nothing. The fact that the rumors started on a forum for JM antis is the first major flag. Especially if she was "allegedly" involved in the Burning Sun scandal (I know what it is). Also, people supposedly harassed this girl, yet now she willingly gives feeds these rumors, giving some "hints" and then deleting them? Doesn't it sound a little bit like she is looking for attention and is trying to keep the conversation going?
Also, similar or even the same plates and pots don't really prove anything. I am not saying that it isn't possible. Just that I am very doubtful for now. Like with everything else, let's just wait and see.
Lastly, I seriously doubt JM of all people would be with someone if they had any part in the Burning sun scandal, if he knew it. I simply can't believe it.

Family Ties
Logan used to have a hard time expressing his emotions. His new family ensures this changes. (For the better, I may add.)
writing these logince fics has been so much fun! i can't believe I'm almost done with all of them!
thank you all for the support on my last couple posts. it means the word to me, and it's crazy to me that there are several humans that have read all the silly little words I mash together and neglect to proofread
anyways!! this work is connected to day 4: winter, so you may have to read Welcome to the Family to understand some of this
enjoy! (the prompt for day 6 is hopes & dreams also)
Logan had been in college for eight years.
It was strange to think about, all that time (and money, as well. Even with financial aid, college was unreasonably expensive) he had spent to get to this point. In two weeks, he would graduate with his doctorate degree, and he wouldn’t ever have to step foot on a college campus again if he didn’t feel so inclined.
And yet, this very thing he had worked for, the commitment he poured his soul into for eight years, was overwhelmingly anxiety-inducing.
He had no idea what he was going to do. Oh, not with his career. He had already been job searching and starting applications that he needed his doctorate certificate to finish. However, the idea of leaving behind an atmosphere he had accustomed himself to for so long was ridiculously daunting.
He had become an adult here. He pulled his first all-nighter during freshman year finals, and it was followed by an incredibly unhealthy amount in the next seven. He made some of his best friends here, friends he had trusted enough to drink in front of for the first time when he turned 21. He got his autism diagnosis mailed to the apartment he still lived in two years later.
He came out here.
He lost contact with his biological family because of that, and gained an entirely new family as a result, not necessarily while he was at college, but during that timeline, so it counted in his opinion.
That was perhaps his fondest memory of all those he had made in his time tied to his school. Roman and his siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents had been so welcoming to him from the very beginning, and his love and trust in them had grown stronger than ever through the years.
Even as he endured all the teasing from them when he and Roman finally decided to start dating three years ago.
It was a very stark contrast from his biological family’s reaction, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
…His family.
Logan had tried to distance himself from thinking about his biological family ever since they disowned him, but the three of them had been extremely close up until that fateful day. Coming out had gone… poorly, and ever since then, the complete loss of contact has been jarring.
Perhaps jarring was an understatement. His mother and grandpa were the most important people in his life up until he was 22 years old. They’d raised him, fostered his love for astrology, helped him with even the hardest of classes, and paid for his first four years of college in full.
Then, Logan told them he was gay, and they threw him away like he’d never meant anything to them in the first place.
Logan sighed, shaking himself. It was too early in the day for this many mental tangents.
Perhaps he should call someone.
To anyone else, this would be strangely out of character. Logan had never been one to willingly talk out his feelings. Another thing his biological family had given him, always being closed off, opting to deal with personal problems quietly and alone.
After spending about 10 seconds with his new family, it was clear none of them had ever operated that way.
They shared everything with each other. Good news, bad news, funny news articles they’d found while doom-scrolling, anything they could. It took Logan some time to get used to this, but now, it was instinctual to be comfortable sharing what was on his mind.
And now, he did a lot more infodumping as well, something he had never been allowed to do with his biological family.
Yeah, the separation from them had taught him a lot about the reality of how good his biological family had actually been for him.
Subconsciously, as he had found himself mentally trailing off, Logan had called Gram.
“Well, hello, dear. It’s been quite a long time since you called me. I was beginning to think we’d never speak again.” Logan snickered at the teasing. He’d called her two days ago, but he was quite used to her dramatics and had picked up quite a bit of her sarcasm himself.
“Hello, Gram. I didn’t imagine I’d ever see the day where you, of all people, complained about having a conversation, but I suppose there is a first time for everything,” he jested back.
“Oh, leave an old woman be, I was just surprised. I figured you’d be busy with all the graduation preparation or whatever it is they make you poor kids do nowadays.”
“Gram, college is not that much different than when you were a kid. But no, my schedule is rather free for the next few days. And… I have missed you, quite a bit.”
“Oh dear,” she mumbled gently, fondness overtaking her tone, “you are far too sweet to me. I’ve missed you as well, darling. You’ve had a long couple of months, haven’t you?”
Logan nodded, then quickly realized his mistake. “Ah, yes, I suppose so. I suppose it has been worth it, though. The only thing I would change about all this is allowing myself some more free time for my family.”
“Entirely too sweet, Roman has been a terrible influence on you,” she joked. “Now, what’s going on?”
Logan blinked, taking a long moment to process her question. “I’m- not sure what you mean? I have a completely free day today, so I called to talk to you, as I have done many times before. So, nothing is going on other than this conversation?”
“My bad, darling. That was a bad way of phrasing it. I meant: what’s wrong? I can tell when one of my babies is upset, and it’s pretty clear, hon.”
“N-nothing’s wrong, Gram. I... I mean, it has been a long week, but nothing out of the ordinary. I am doing just fine,” he replied smoothly, sneaking in as much of a smile into his voice as he could manage.
Logan could hear her head shake through the phone, and not just because of the audible rustling. “You’re testing my grandma senses, dear? Trust me, I dealt with Roman in his slumps. I know how to tell when someone’s hiding a problem from me. Especially you, considering all the time it took to convince you that sharing is alright. I mean that nicely, by the way, I care a lot about you feeling alright.”
“Thanks, Gram. I… suppose it is a bit complicated to explain.” He didn’t elaborate further, cutting himself off with a long sigh. Was this really how he wanted to spend his valuable time talking to one of his closest family members?
“I have an idea, if you’ll hear me out. Why don’t you come up for the weekend. Roman will be here too if you’re not up for talking with me this time. He’ll want to see you anyway, and so do I.”
Logan thought it over. He didn’t have any classwork. Really, the only reason he was still near campus was because he’d already made his final housing payment, and he intended to use the space for as long as he owned it. If he left on Friday, he’d get plenty of time with Gram and Roman, and whoever else happened to be there, and still have the opportunity to leave on time to get back to his minimal responsibilities on Tuesday.
“...Yeah, I’ll be there. It will be… nice to talk things out in person. And to see you, of course.”
“Oh, you, such a flatterer. Worse than Roman, I swear. I’ll be looking forward to seeing you, hon. Love you big bunches.”
“Love you big bunches as well, Gram.”
The weekend came far too quickly, and yet not fast enough. Logan was anticipating the time with his boyfriend and family, but the real reason for his visit had been looming over him all week.
He knew it would be good to discuss what was bothering him. That did not make it any easier to look forward to doing so.
The four hour drive passed as fast as a blink, and Logan realized with an achinly fond smile that Gram had been waiting on the porch for him.
“Get over here, baby,” he heard her call as soon as he closed the car door behind himself. She met him halfway, wrapping her arms securely around his waist and inching up on her tiptoes and nudging Logan to bend down so she could kiss his cheek.
“Hello there, beanstalk. I’ve not missed this height difference, but I did miss you. You’ve been so busy, I’ve been lucky to get all those weekly calls.”
Logan chuckled. “I wouldn’t mist those for anything, Gram. I’ll always have time to talk to you.”
“Don’t remind me, I’m sure I know that,” she reassured. “I recall a good handful of those calls prefaced with a warning that you were at work or driving to class, or whatever else it was that made you so busy, you wild little multitasker.”
“Says you,” Logan teased right back as she ushered him inside. “Every time I come over, you’re cooking six things at once and in three separate conversations. I’d argue that’s much more impressive multitasking.”
“Flattery,” she laughed, pinching Logan’s cheek, “but as much as I love to tease, that’s not quite why you’re here, now is it?”
“Well, of course not, it’s because Romam is coming tonight, and you’d hardly miss the opportunity to tease us together under one roof,” Logan replied innocently, making her chuckle again.
“Oh, you are terrible. I would never do such a thing! Except, perhaps I already have. Alright, stop distracting me! I had a point, and you have become a worse instigator than your boyfriend,” she chided, nudging him along to the living room and onto a couch right next to her.
“Now, I won’t push you outside of what you’re comfortable with if you’re not up for this right now, but even over the phone, it was obvious you’re having a hard time. We can talk things through now, or wait for some other time, or never if you’d rather talk things out with Roman when he gets here. Or, a surprise fourth option, I guess.”
“I’ll take door number four,” Logan deadpanned, his false glare breaking with Gram’s laughter. “No, I… suppose I should talk things out. It won’t do any good to let them fester.”
“At least one kid listens to my lectures,” Gran shook her head, gently squeezing Logan’s hand. “Ignore my whining. You talk whenever you’re ready, dearheart.”
Logan took a deep breath, squeezing her hand back. Despite all the ruminating he’d already done, it was considerably difficult to figure out how to express all those pesky emotions he’d been dealing with.
Eventually, it all just spilled out. It started with his biological family, how the memories had been creeping up on him now that he was finally going to be moving on from the last connection he had to them.
Next, it was losing that connection, losing his home of eight years to graduation. He was still confident with his job choice and the ease of getting one of those, but the act of leaving… he was terrified.
There were other things as well, his returning, paralyzing fear of failure creeping back as he began to transition into something new. There were a few jobs he had considered applying for that he had to stop considering because of their terrible policies for the disabled. Not that he needed many accommodations, but an institution such as those would likely not be welcoming to an autistic individual.
And after all the work he’d put into acquiring this job, he was not about to settle for a place that would not make him feel human.
By the time he had gotten everything off his chest, and shed a few tears in the process, it had been… a while. At least an hour, likely more. Gran had been attentive the whole time, offering nonverbal support and comfort as he vented.
God, he loved her so much.
Once he was feeling calmer, a byproduct of the venting and the love his grandma had been pouring out to him, she tugged him along to the kitchen with a smile.
“Instead of making you sit through a saccharinely sweet talk about how much I love and support you, and whatnot, we’re gonna bake cookies. Sound good?”
“I would not be opposed to the love and support but yes, cookies sound fantastic.”
Gran whacked him gently on the arm, the smirk peeking through betraying her true feelings. “Quit being cheeky, you absolute menace. Here I am offering my home to you and giving you all the support you deserve, and you treat me like this in response? The cruelty! Whatever happened to respecting your elders?”
Logan laughed, and in an impulsive but familiar move, leaned down to wrap her in a firm hug. “Thank you. I… I needed this, more than I think I realized.”
“Oh, of course, Lo. Anytime, I-” Gran cut herself off with a smile. “Enough from me. You’d better go and say hi to your boyfriend.”
Logan perked up immediately, ending their hug with a final squeeze before rushing out the door to meet Roman as he hopped out of his Uber.
“Logan!! Oh, my precious starshine!” Roman exclaimed, throwing down his bags to scoop Logan off the ground. Logan giggled, nudging halfheartedly at Roman’s hold. “Roman I am taller than you, this is obscene-!” He cut himself off with a squeak as Roman began to spin him around joyfully.
“If you drop me I will never forgive you!!” Roman laughed joyously in his ear, but he did noticeably tighten his grip on his boyfriend. “Worry not, light of my life! The only thing I’ve ever dropped is my jaw at the sight of your lovely face!”
Logan resisted the urge to roll his eyes, smirking fondly at Roman as he was set down. “You are perhaps the clumsiest man I’ve ever met, forgive me for doubting the validity of your statement.”
Roman gasped loudly, a dramatic move Logan could recognize from a mile away. “You- don’t believe me? Your own partner? Would I ever lie to the loveliest man in existence, the force of nature that keeps my very heart beating? The slander, in my own childhood home! You disparage me, starlight!”
“You are incorrigible, but I suppose I knew that when I signed up for this,” Logan continued, laughing at the over-exaggerated gasp that was so forceful it made Roman cough.
“You win this one Tall, Dark, and Handsome. C’mon, let’s go in. Gram’s probably got a whole laundry list of teasing remarks at the ready, the old sap. Emphasis on the old.”
“Be nice!” Logan chided, huffing at his boyfriend’s antics. “Your grandmother is a saint, and to imply that the first thing she will do at the sight of us is jest is a slanderous oversight. I cannot believe you right now. She’s already teasing us right now, under her breath, testing out which ones sound the best.”
Roman wheezed, nearly buckling over as he walked. “You- you have a point, beloved. Forgive me for such an oversight. Now, let’s head in to hear what she’s planned for us, yes?”
The rest of the day continued similarly. Logan eventually ran out of conversation spoons just after dinnertime, and spent a few hours in his guest room destressing. Around ten that night, he wandered down the hall to Roman’s room, curling up with him on his bed.
“Welcome back, dear. Feeling calmer?” Logan nodded, shifting closer so he could kiss Roman’s cheek. ‘Much calmer, thank you, sweetheart. How are you?”
“Oh, a bit stressed about the upcoming show but hey, that’s just life. Also, Gran snitched on you, so I’m gonna awkwardly transition into bugging you about that now.”
Logan groaned, hiding his face in Roman’s chest. “Awful, terrible family. Why did I ever sign up for this? You people are so cruel to me.”
“Not as cruel as them, I can assure you of that.” Roman had meant it in a teasing manner, but Logan couldn’t help but wince. It was perhaps a bit too soon to be joking about something like that so soon after he figured out all his feelings.
“Ouch, that was in poor taste, wasn’t it? I’m sorry, beloved.” Logan shook his head, leaning up for another kiss. “Not your fault, I suppose it was a bit funny. I’m just… “I let them control me for years, and I didn’t even realize. They were so… harmful to me, but they were the only people I had. It… it was so hard to realize that all that time spent idolizing them was time wasted. And, I don’t think I’ve ever completely moved on from it, which is terrible. They don’t deserve it, even if they are just thoughts.”
“First of all, you are allowed to grieve over losing them as much as you need. No, they don’t deserve it, but you deserve to process what they did in a healthy way. And yeah, the things they’ve done were terrible, but it wasn’t time wasted. You truly did love them, and they taught you so many things that make you so special. It’s not time wasted, it’s just… time you had to spend to get to us.”
Logan blinked, pushing away the sting of happy tears. “I.. suppose you have a point. I know I need to process my grief healthily, I just wish they didn’t make that so difficult. They… I almost wish they would have made it more obvious that they were terrible people. They hid it behind so much positive and healthy behavior, it can be hard for me to remember that they are bad for me.”
Roman sighed, rubbing a hand across Logan’s back, sending shivers through his body. “I know, darling, it is very complicated. It can be hard to deal with all the gray space in the black and white of talking to someone or cutting them off entirely. But, no matter how positive some of their influences were, you’re so much better off here. I hope you can remember that.”
“I am trying,” Logan decided, “and I know I will get there. It just… I want to be able to block them out forever as they did to me, but I’m not sure I’ll ever be capable of that.” “You don’t have to push yourself to forget them entirely, but I can understand why that would be desirable,” Roman reassured. “You have dealt with all of this incredibly well given the circumstances, and you have accomplished so much. Hell, you’re graduating with a doctorate this year! You’re amazing, Lo, and if they can’t see that beyond the hatred, then it’s their loss.”
“It truly is,” Logan agreed, “especially since it means they never get to meet you.”
“Aww, come here, precious.” Roman grinned, hugging his boyfriend so close, Logan could feel his boyfriend's heartbeat pulse through his own body. “You’re incredible. I am so proud of you and the things you have accomplished. I am so confident in you, and I know this change is going to be hard, but you’re gonna embrace it just like everything else.”
“Ah, she really did snitch on me, huh?” Roman nodded solemnly, still holding his boyfriend as tight as he could manage without actually hurting him. (Logan loved this, he had been encouraging Roman to help him with pressure stimming for years, and his boyfriend always agreed.)
“I can’t say I’m surprised, but… I’m not upset that she did. Talking about everything again would be way too many spoons for one day.”
“Well, if you do need to talk more, I’m always here, my love. You are so important to me, and anything you need, I can provide.”
“The same to you, dearest. Now, it is getting late, and I know you’re going to be up early working tomorrow. Sleep with me?”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way, starlight.” Logan smiled, kissing him gently on the lips before pulling the covers up around him. He truly was lucky for every single person in his life. Even his biological family, he supposed.
Without them, he never would have received the kind of love the Reyes family would be outpouring to him for years to come.
He and Roman fell asleep tangled in each other's arms, and Logan only dreamt of love and happiness.

Happy 2nd Anniversary!
Tumblr media
Hello everyone!
Today marks the second anniversary of this blog! Wow, I can't believe it's been two years already! (Note, I created the blog earlier but February 4th 2019 was my first original post here so I use that date as the blog's birthday)
I'm honestly suprised this blog lasted this long, since I'm a very shy person usually on the Internet and commitment isn't exactly my strong suit. But what can I say? I love it here and Tumblr feels like home at this point!
To celebrate I'm gonna reminisce a little bit and write down my thoughts about this blog. It's gonna get really sappy, I'm sorry.
Just kidding. I'm not sorry at all.
2022 has truly been the year of all time. A lot and I mean a lot of ups and downs. I started and ended my first job, went on vacation, had one of the worst instances of allergy + depression, you name it. In hindsight, every few months I was in a wildly different situation and mental state.
But the thing that overall made 2022 great was finally getting into art! To turn the ironic hate off for a moment, I love Fire Emblem. It's not my favorite series (Kingdom Hearts and Kirby share that position), but it's one I still adore and now am truly greatful for, because for a reason or another it was the only one it felt welcoming enough to me to actively make an account about it and be active in social media rather than a ghost after years.
Before I made this blog I wrote a few supports for the fire-emblem-heroes-supports blog. I think they were the first piece of writing I ever made willingly and not as part of a school assignment, and looking back I still cherish them.
Eventually I had the idea for this blog, and after a lot of hesitation in typical me fashion, fayesdiary was born! I mentioned it a few times already, but originally it was meant to be just meta analysis posts, a few headcanons and theories and my sporadic writings. Overtime though it became a lot more freeform in what I posted, and I think it's all the better for it!
I got the courage to write and posts my first fanfictions and slowly carved my own personal space here on Tumblr. Like, a very cozy rat hole. Over time, this blog became a personal hobby and it gave me a lot of satisfactions. I got close to some people I truly admire and made a few friends too!
And boy, then we get to last year, which has been an absolute blast in terms of creativity!
I don't think I ever had in mind making a dialogue dump website of Awakening, but it happened and I had a lot of fun making it and giving it a lot of tiny details! ...even if its layout has the stability of a Jenga tower and it's just the Gangrel arc. Whatever. It's the thought that counts.
I wrote a bunch more! Not as much as I wanted, but I made some stories I'm really proud of. And I took part in a few fandom events and not just one but two Secret Santas for the first time!
I took a shot at making wallpapers and made some I'm really proud of, especially the Three Hopes ones. They were so fun to make and the process was just tons of fun!
And that leads nicely to... making art.
See, the thing about me is that I always sucked at making art. I couldn't keep my hands stable, I am incredibly clumsy and I couldn't draw anything more complicated than simple childlike doodles. And while I loved painting, the fact I felt incapable of making anything good or that I could like lead me to not even bothering to try. Why bother if you're just gonna be disappointed and frustrated, after all?
Until I got into group painting at around July, and I loved it. I made some paintings I truly like, and that eventually gave me the courage to start drawing again. As a half-joke. Only this time, I decided to draw with references, and my whole world got upside down. Turns out I could actually somewhat draw if I had a reference! And somehow I never realized it in years!
Something clicked. I figured it'd just be a thing I'd do for a week at most and then drop like so many other creative projects of mine, but... it stayed. Not only that, but I got more invested into it. I went from physical to digital (with the mouse!), and eventually shifted to a graphic tablet a friend lent me (and then pretty much gifted me). Eventually the drawings became so many I decided to make an art blog! Me! An art blog! The me from even just early 2022 would have called you insane if you said it! And now not just that, but I'm even making preparations to open a Redbubble shop! I still can't believe it!
And a huge part is thanks to this blog, really! It gave me and still keeps giving me the courage to try new stuff, find new friends and people who inspire me, and lets me know people enjoy what I make or say. It's amazing, and it makes me feel so happy!
I'll be honest, I am grateful to this blog. It truly helped me get into a better place, and I can confidently say ever since I opened it I feel a lot happier. And that's coming from the local cynical bastard who usually hates themselves, but now? I went from hating myself to being neutral at worst for the most part. Even if I still have my moments sometimes, but that's normal. And now I actually have hope for the future!
But really, it says a lot that for once at the New Year party I wasn't the one who claimed the next year was going to suck. Heck, I was actually caught off guard when one of my friends said it and I said no, it's gonna be good!
Anyway, enough rambling. What I want to say is, thank you for everything. Thank you to the people who complimented me or even just commented on the things I made. Thank you to my mutuals and anonymous lurkers. Yes, I know you're there, I was and often still am one of you. And most of all, thank you to all my online friends I made here on Tumblr. When I think about it, we haven't known each other for that long, but I want you to know now I can't imagine a life without you and you brighten my day every time we chat. I love you so much and I wish you nothing but the best<3
Here's to plenty more years of this blog!

hi! i hope ure doing a little bit better. take all the time u need! here's an hc i have
https://youtu.be/wOEKdWrtz6U
THIS but satoru and hinata when they were 2nd years, they just did this for fun. since canonically satoru can do everything he puts his mind into, wouldn't be surprised if it was the same for hinata
UGH i can't help but think it's THEM
+ adding to the yt link post w virtuemoir, you might think it's unlikely since they didn't really love each other like genuinely genuinely, but still i like to believe the attraction was there
Heya anon!
Thank you so much for your lovely ask and checking in on me 🥺❤️I'm doing much better now, now that the small depressive episode is done and I'm back to writing :>
I apologize for taking a while to respond, but do not be fooled... this never left my mind (I also combined the two asks so they wouldn't be separate :>)—more so because the second season of jujutsu made me wonder just how involved Hinata would've been when everything went down!!
But going back to this video—yes!! I think Hinata and Satoru would've done, even with their differences, everything together at one point, and excel at it too.
Knowing how everything comes easy to him Hinata would've made it work, mostly because out of spite haha. She couldn't allow Satoru to be that good, she had to be in his level or near him (She wanted to save herself the incessant teasing from his part) while Satoru would come up with the craziest ideas to find a "weakness" for him to exploit/humiliate, only for him to be rightfully contested when she wouldn't relent.
However, the more they spent time together, the more they realized they genuinely liked being with one another, at one point Satoru offered to teach her whatever she needed—with Hinata willingly accepting to be his student.
I do feel they were attracted to one another, if not started to be attracted, during this time. I mean, they were teenagers, very hormonal, and have been in each other's life since forever 😂 it just started to happen, so... why not?
Hinata would be the first to find the other attractive, however, Satoru would be the first one to conclude that "maybe spending the rest of my life with her isn't as bad"
Of course these sentiments were nothing but a step they needed to take in order to know themselves and what they wanted in life, (like their first time together lol idk if writing it would be morbid but let's be real after all the shit I've done.... do I have any excuse? 😂) eventually coming to the realization that what they wanted the most out of the other was friendship—The reassurance that no matter what happened they would still be there for one another.
Presumably around the time where Satoru met Suguru. They just had a whole new level of chemistry, and Hinata was all in for it.
After Hinata called off the engagement I could totally see Satoru telling her something like:
"If we're still single at 30 we could marry each other and have some kids or something" to which she would only roll her eyes and dismiss as him being his usual silly self—at least outwardly, because Hinata wouldn't deny that the idea of settling down with someone she already knows is nice.
I mean, let's not forget how her dating endeavors had been going—she hates it lol. And I can't blame her, the dating scene is... oof. So why waste her time meeting people that just don't get her, seemingly don't have any ambitions, don't share her work ethics and whatnot, when she could could just rely on Satoru?
And if the pressure from the elders towards Satoru grows too "annoying" for him to keep ignoring, or who knows, maybe he finally decides he do wants to settle down, he could rely on her as well.
It sounds awful when put that way lol, but I think these things serve to show just how intertwined Satoru and Hinata were, something that only people who have known each other for a very long time, and learned to trust one another completely, could do.
Satoru cherishes Ren, Hinata, and Y/N a lot, and so do they. There's nothing they wouldn't do for one another, and that's something I intend to show deeper into the story :>
Once again, thank you so much for sending in this ask! Now I want to write in what Hinata's, Ren's and Y'N's reaction would've been to the whole thing that went down on season 2 😭 (who am I kidding, that's totally gonna happen)
If there's anything else you'd like to know about their relationship, or just share with me, my ask box is always open 🤭❤️
Thank you so much, I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and see you around!!

I know, another post by me. If you're going "oh my god not again just stfu Billie" I absolutely will not and I am not sorry so anyone who doesn't want spoilers, just skip over this, otherwise enjoy my 3/5 A.M episode 7 thoughts/theory.
Who's Behind the Betrayal?
I know, another post by me. If you're going "oh my god just stfu Billie" I'm not sorry so anyone who doesn't want spoilers or to hear my dumbass 3 A.M thoughts on who it could be just skip over this, otherwise enjoy. Or suffer. Whichever you prefer.
The Armorer
I know a lot of people have their eyes set on The Armorer, but I'm not completely sold on her being the one who sold everyone out. I could see The Armorer wanting Bo out of the picture so that she can go back to having a tight lead on her cult again and didn't plan on Din or even Paz getting hurt, but it's still a leap of faith to trust someone like Gideon to keep up his end of any bargain. One I can't see The Armorer risking. She's not dumb. But in terms of not wanting to get people hurt, I honestly wouldn't put it past her that she doesn't care. I know people may get offended over that but after 35+ years with Din, she was willing to toss him out the moment he admitted he had gone helmetless and that was all I needed to know that her loyalty ends the moment you stop following her standard of the Creed. Even her reaction to being at the forge surrounded by the empty helmets of following Mandos in Season 1 felt empty, like she's able to disconnect from loss like that and she either has experienced it enough to where it's water off her shoulders or she just doesn't care.
It IS suspicious as hell that Gideon's goons had Beskar armor, but she would have had to sneak away from the covert enough times to not be detected and I have a hard time believing no one would notice her constantly coming and going at all hours. Even if she came up with an excuse to go off world, it just feels contrived that no one would pick up on odd or questionable behavior like that. We're assuming one must be trained to forge the Beskar armor and isn't something anyone can just pick up and do, but someone from the Survivors on Mandalore or even Bo's fleet could easily have been Armorers before the Purge.
The other thing that tripped me up at first and I know many others is why she changed her mind so quickly to make Bo out to be this person of prophecy after dismissing her Mythosaur claim when she warned Din in BOBF that:
"Bo-Katan is a cautionary tale. She once laid claim to rule Mandalore based purely on blood and the sword you now possess. But it was gifted to her and not won by Creed. Bo-Katan Kryze was born of a mighty house, but they lost sight of the way. Her rule ended in tragedy. They lost their way, and we lost our world."
At first, I had a hard time believing The Armorer would willingly follow someone who she knows was the reason for Mandalore's downfall. But after re-thinking it, I realized The Armorer never went into detail as to how Bo was a cautionary tale outside of being a tragic leader victim of circumstance when the Armorer only mentioned "they" and not "she." Pair this with how she told the Mandalorian Survivors that
Tumblr media
I realized The Armorer may not have any idea that Bo is the reason for Mandalore's current state nor does she realize that Bo had been a member of the very terrorist group she mentioned. The Armorer said she was from the Moon just like Din was, and it's possible that everything she heard was second hand information because she genuinely didn't seem to know that Bo has a crime rep sheet as long as she is tall.
Bo, throughout this season, has been made out to be a broken leader who lost her way and Bo has been playing into that. This is probably the first time she's had a semi-clean slate. And if the Armorer knew about Bo's past and is just fucking with her... I guess we'll find out but I genuinely do think that The Armorer wouldn't follow someone like that if she knew they were part of their people's/planet's downfall and is doing this purely out of a change of heart for Bo, but we'll see.
Koska Reeves
I know others are guessing Axe, but between him and the Armorer it feels way too obvious. We already know Axe's loyalty starts and ends with whoever he thinks is worthy of owning the darkaber, and we already know even then there's no true loyalty to Bo or anyone else from him, so I honestly wonder if the spy/whistleblower would be Koska and not Axe. Koska's loyalty to Bo is much like Axe's despite the fact that Bo treats her like a close friend/confident. When sitting together on the survivors' ship and Bo barely scratched the surface as to what she had done and her involvement in Mandalore's current state, Koska opened her mouth as if to spill the beans and Bo just waved her off like
Tumblr media
Koska clearly knows of Bo's tragic past to some extent, probably the most out of any of the other Nite Owls, and would be the last Bo and Axel would expect to be a spy. However, I just can't think of a good motive for her to side with Gideon. But it's hard to rule her out when, as I mentioned, the whole fleet and even Din's cult behind Bo aren't there because she's a worthy leader to follow, but is someone that Din has put his faith in and is the current "owner" of the darksaber." Loyalty to Bo, outside of Din's naivety, doesn't exist. At least, not without major conditions. And this leads me back to...
Bo-Katan Kryze
Do I think Bo is the spy/traitor? No. At least not intentionally.
If you've seen Bo in CW and Rebels, there's two things that have always been consistent about her character: Bo will do anything to achieve her goals regardless of who or what gets hurt and she never learns her lesson. In the past, she worked under both Maul and Count Dooku until both betrayed her. Her loyalty starts and ends with who best benefits her goals, and that has remained the same even in Mando. When she mentioned:
“In exchange for submitting to the Empire and disarming, all remaining cities and Mandalorian lives were to be spared. It was the only chance I had to save our people.”
I couldn't put my finger on why that confession bothered me the way it did. And it clicked: that doesn't sound like Bo. This is Bo-Katan Kryze, the woman who joined a terrorist group because she disagreed with her sister's pacifist ways. This is the woman who burned down a village and enslaved the people there for fun. This is the woman who trusted TWO Sith lords to help her and her fellow terrorists to achieve their goals and only fought against them the moment they were betrayed and not because "Siths are bad." This is the self serving woman who will do anything to get what she wants, including hiding the Mythosaur from Din after gaslighting him that it doesn't exist, and I have a very hard time believing what she said is true when she's never done anything like that in her history as a SW character because it requires the type of sacrifice that Bo wouldn't do willingly. So her comment made me wonder if that was a white lie pertaining their current predicament.
I could see Bo originally planning on sacrificing Din and his cult to Gideon in exchange for them to leave Mandalore alone and the darksaber so she can rebuild the planet just as she's been saying she's wanted to for decades. It's the only reason I can think of (other than bad writing) to explain why she openly lived in a castle in the same sector as Mandalore despite knowing an Imperial presence was present. It would explain why she felt so confident walking around Mandalore despite knowing the true threats were Imperial and not the Troll species or angry robots. It would explain why TIE fighters chose to blow up her home only AFTER Din was in her presence and wasn't too bothered by it. And it explains why she hide the Mythosaur from Din. Bo losing her home means now having a reason to be welcomed into Din's cult and earning their trust to push them into Gideon's trap, but I don't think Bo expect to end up experiencing what it's like to actually like to have people around you who are there because of honor and loyalty and not because you're waving around an ancient, glowy sword that people need to listen to.
Bo witnessed first hand, finally, how respected Din is within his covert and even the people of Nevarro. She saw how much foundlings meant to them, and how far they'd go to ensure the safety of their people that didn't come with strings attached. She witnessed Din's selfless acts and how he gave her unfair credit for a lot they got accomplished and, even if all of that was part of her initial plan, I don't think Bo realized how good it felt to be seen and welcomed as a hero for once and not a terrorist. Although she made a weak attempt at admitting out loud how she may have had a part in Mandalore's current state, she still hid the truth from everyone to have control over the siege because she knew people would back out of helping her. Because until Din volunteered himself and Grogu
Tumblr media Tumblr media
No one was willing to volunteer. As I said: no one here willingly follows or trusts Bo. She hasn't earned that trust between her history and her "onward!" and not "follow me" leadership tactic. So with Din not only volunteering but saying this to Bo:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bo, for the first time, experienced someone believing in her and willingly following her as a leader and not as a resented leader who people only follow because she had the planet's royal talking stick in hand.
She expected Din to reject her as a leader after her weak admission to her sins and that look she gives him after he walks away isn't because she's fallen for him (I won't piss on people who want to see it as such), she's looking at him with awed guilt. She's touched that she finally has someone who respects her as a person and not as the Heiress and that makes her feel guilty if it is revealed that she had planned on sacrificing him and his covert to Gideon all for a chance to rule again and awed that maybe, just maybe, she could be something other than a selfish jinx to their people. Her expression is very bitter sweet.
So where I think, if my theory is right, that her intensions had originally been malicious, I think her experiences with Din's cult inspired her to try to turn the tables on Gideon. That would explain why he wasn't surprised to see her but was surprised to see her fleet working with Din's cult. I don't think Bo knew or expected there to be a full on base built right under her nose like that nor did she expect Imperial soldiers to have Beskar armor. I have no doubt her reaction to Din being kidnapped and Paz potentially killed was genuine, along with her trembling in panic not just from losing her two best fighters, but also from the grief of once again setting history up to repeat itself. I think she'll try to use the darksaber to get people to help her save Din and Paz but will be met with silence because she's not the person they followed and believed in in the first place. I can see her trying a last ditch attempt at winning everyone over by finding and riding the Mythosaur but will be unable to find it. I'd put money on Din, Grogu, or even Boba being able to ride it before Bo does. And I know some people may be upset by this, but I also wouldn't be surprised if she dies doing the first selfless thing with her people in mind in her decades long journey. When Din mentioned Bo's song was not yet written without realizing that it's been told three times over, it was a perfect set up for Bo's death to be a "Swan Song." It would honestly be a beautiful way for Bo to go and giving the saber and title to Din before going out with a bang, recognizing that he's the one that the galaxy and strangers on the internet trying to figure out how to get to him through their TV would follow and be the peace bringer the galaxy has longed for. But like I said: we'll see.
No One's a Spy
I know some of you may be wondering why I didn't mention the surviving Mandalorians they run into, which is fair, but I think they'd be too obvious to be the spies. I am surprised Bo and Din's respected people didn't suspect them of anything and trusted them right off the bat on top of them somehow not knowing that the Empire built a whole base without their knowledge and somehow either forgot or choose to forgive Bo for being the reason they're even like that in the first place, but I would put money on that being bad writing cause it would be really out of character for Din and his people at the very least to not suspect these strangers of any malicious intent. They're so distrusting it wouldn't be logical for them to be blindsided by the most obvious choice. So in the end, the other option is no one is the spy. No one set anyone up to be betrayed and it was an unfortunate circumstance cause by poor planning and strategy and now everyone's paying for it. But we'll see tonight/tomorrow!
I meant to post this earlier this week but I've had a bad chronic flare up from a food allergen. I'm fine, but I'm exhausted and in a lot of discomfort waiting for the flare to pass. Until it does, I'm curious to hear all of your thoughts and I'll see you on the other side.

Wait you guys might be on to something. You think he knows and while he doesnt like the way fans take over the narrative and make it something else, he secretly enjoys all the attention while the women in this case Stas carry on this obsession? Because this would so explain the whole Shea thing too. For years she bullied and fought the idea of another girl around him, obsessed over the idea of more with him and them being compatible in the same way Stas is currently doing. Did these weird photoshoots and videos with him. He then ignored the shipping but still did enough to push it forward by again posting photos and videos about her. He’s done it with both. Shea the patty cake video when so many had mixed feelings about the Always tired shoot, the photo dumps, and with Stas; the video of her and him at edc holding hands and sliding down the slides, and little comments on how she made him like festivals or came over to dye his hair, aggressively kissing the cross necklace she gave him in the react channel when so many made a big deal about that plastic thing. The only one he doesnt do that to is Amber and i think its because she’s publicly said there’s nothing going on. Sometimes even the comments he favorites are girls expressing how they’re in love with him and more.
Plus both girls tend to write this very depressing and moody poetry and loose themselves in the process by mimicking his style. Its all very strange but also interesting to analyze because yes do they do it on their own, or is the reason they take it so far because they know he supports it? Is he happy being single and controlling his own narrative but also enjoys the attention these girls give him 🤔?
Ngl my head went like this 🤯 reading this because i tried connecting the dots while remembering all the stuff u mentioned haha. I think he doesn't afford putting Amber in all this because tbh she's the only one who has her head on her shoulders and doesn't let her life rulled by a man, she puts herself first and doesn't need colby to be relevant. While she doesn't need relevance from Colby, stas needs it cuz otherwise she doesn't have a job. To be honest, i don't think the girls would continue to be in this position if they had nothing to gain from him. I mean he does delete comments where he's shipped with her, yet she doesn't like being called out by fans who say he's not into her. To me it's like a tom and jerry type of thing, because colby pushes this away, while stas attracts everything to shove it in Colby's face? idk, to me it looks like she takes every comment and she's like "look, look, they're shipping us why can't u just accept this". I know it sounds rude but i had no way into proving what i actually think this whole merry-go-round of their is. It also sucks that shea is just brought up randomly whenever people tend to talk too much about Colby being interested in the other one so he just throws people off by doing stuff like this with someone else just to erase suspicion. I think he really enjoys being single and whenever there's something too serious, he finds a way to let people know he didn't change his mind. he backs away when things are misunderstood, moment when the girls take action and go above and beyond to prove otherwise. It sucks to be in their shoes, because i wouldn't bark at this tree for such a long time, being aware that i gain nothing for my feelings, i get disappointed and not necessarily used, but they're so far up stuck in his ass that they do whatever fits the gossip
I've seen a lot of fans say colby should make up his mind and stop playing games cuz it's tiring and boring, but the girls are also doing this willingly for the hell of it or they actually believe there's actually something more going on
And as of the kissing of the necklace, i doubt he was doing that thinking where he got it from and i really don't understand how people can go above and beyond worshipping this kind of gesture between, as far as what we know, friends, when knowing Colby's very religious as he is

Behind the Playlist - Transformers: Prime Edition (Part 8 of 22: Dreadwing)
Link to the other posts in my Behind the Playlist series
✧ ✧ ✧
I present to you the second playlist I organized in “story order.” I believe an honorable warrior like Dreadwing deserves to have his story told in this way.
Intended overarching themes and/or qualities: Honor, Betrayal, Vengeance Denied
My personal favorite(s) from this playlist: Endless Bonds and Broken Promises, Crystal, Whose Side Are You On, and Lament From The Grave
✧ ✧ ✧
Full song list and explanations under the cut:
Dreadwing by Brian Tyler
Self-explanatory name.
Soldier by Fleurie, Tommee Profitt
First and foremost, Dreadwing saw himself as a solider whose sole purpose was to serve Megatron faithfully.
Endless Bonds and Broken Promises by Krale
This instrumental piece encapsulates the grief Dreadwing may have dealt with after he felt Skyquake’s spark disconnect from his and the resulting determination to confirm what he’d sensed.
This Is a Call by Les Friction
Even though Starscream certainly wasn’t Dreadwing’s favorite for the part he played in his brother’s demise, Dreadwing primarily blamed the Autobots and thought of Skyquake’s death as a call to action.
Crystal by J.T. Peterson
To me, this one is representative of the doubts that began to set in about Megatron and what the Decepticon cause had become under his leadership. Dreadwing began to see how far the faction had drifted from its original vision, especially when Megatron welcomed a “desecrator” like Starscream back into his ranks. Things became crystal clear; Dreadwing came to his senses quickly and was no longer blinded by loyalty or duty.
Lay Your Weapons Down by UNSECRET, Sam Tinnesz
“We're losing all the reasons for our hate / Have we gone too far to find escape? / Lay your weapons down
Lay your weapons down / Lay your weapons down / Don't need to do this / Can't make it through this / Lay your weapons down / We can't fight anymore”
Again, Dreadwing realized how far the Decepticons had strayed from their original course. In his mind, they’d lost any real reason for their hate and were “chasing vapors.” When he willingly betrayed the Decepticons by returning the Forge of Solus Prime, Optimus attempted to appeal to him. Dreadwing chose instead to go his own way and wash his hands of either side before seeking revenge for his brother’s disgrace.
Avenge by Michael Vignola
This song matches the tension in the medbay when Dreadwing was determined to end Starscream’s life.
Whose Side Are You On by Tommee Profitt, Ruelle
“Betrayal burns and there's no hiding / It cuts deeper than a razor blade
There's a war in my head and I don't understand / How we ended up here / There's a tear in my heart where your lies left a mark / And now nothing is clear
Whose side are you on?”
When Dreadwing realized he’d been shot through the spark by Megatron, the shock on his face said it all. I like to imagine that he looked down sadly at the gaping hole in his chest and whispered to Megatron, “Whose side are you on?” as he was leaving to rejoin the Allspark.
Casualty by Hidden Citizens, Tash
“Call me a casualty / The cost of catastrophe / The damage, damage, damage is done / Call me, call me another one”
Lament From The Grave by Tommee Profitt, Stanaj
The Albanian language paired with the background instrumentation is hauntingly beautiful. Also, the name of the song is perfect.
Bury Me Here by Shaheen Fahmy, Epic Music World
I wouldn’t be surprised if Megatron ordered that Dreadwing’s body be dumped in some remote place on earth. There was bound to be at least one ‘Con left who remembered the exact location after the war, and I headcanon that Optimus made sure Dreadwing received a proper Cybertronian burial. Optimus is the sort of bot who would do that as a way of honoring a former enemy he respected.

omg pls share more about ur half-drow alucard energy dnd character he sounds incredible
I absolutely missed this so this is SUPER late I bet, BUT
(long post, character stuff below the break)
In the current campaign I am taking part in (currently GMing, but given that it's a rotating hotseat campaign and my big siege arc is coming to a close, that's about to change), I play a half-drow ranger named Jace Caellos, who basically was initially designed as "Alucard, but a half-drow, and given the lore it's his mom that used to be the big scary overlord"
Mind you, a bunch of tweaks happened along the way because our setting is SUUUUPER homebrewed, while still retaining SOME stuff from Forgotten Realms lore?
Super-boiled down backstory: Jace is the product of a loving marriage between a Drow warlord that left the Underdark and made a name for herself on the surface because she didn't like how annoying Lolth and her people were, and a human apothecary that stands very much by the idea that everyone deserves to be treated well and that also believe that the Underdark had a number of herbs and fungi and possible means of helping treat illnesses that were being ignored because...Underdark.
When Jace is about 17, a bunch of assholes lynch his dad for willingly marrying and having a kid with a drow, and his mom goes nuts and leads a brutal and bloody campaign across the countryside out of rage and grief.
Jace tries to stop her.
She nearly kills him.
He lives, barely, learns How To Ranger over the span of two years, and tries to stop her again.
She nearly kills him, has a breakdown at nearly killing her own kid, and then lets him kill her.
Campaign ends, Jace is now emotionally traumatized, and goes back into being the Ranger in the Woods.
Fast forward another two and a half years, and he joins up with the Adventurer's Guild out of Holtan as a means of trying to put all his fancy Ranger skills to work, and as an excuse to dip his toe back into society.
During this time, he is a GRUMPY individual. Extremely snarky, in many cases vaguely condescending,
He's got his own set of "rules" that he insists on following, a sort of code to keep him from going off the rails (since that's what he did in outright killing his mother, in his head.) He also has a very complicated relationship with the gods, as both parents basically had the idea of "respect them so long as they're not active dicks to people."
Absolutely didn't get along with the dwarf in the party (which later on was GENIUSLY improvised by said dwarf's player by being because he recognized Jace as his mom's kid almost immediately, and had fought against her). He's since gotten less uptight about things, and he and the barbarian have an understanding now that certain things are out in the open.
He's more or less mentoring our kenku rogue in How To Morality, since he's basically a Chaotic Neutral literal magpie that doesn't get why you can't just take things that you think are pretty, or mess with statues of the gods for fun, and is also just generally much younger than the other adventurers.
He's got a sort-of rapport with the aasimar paladin of the party, who he sees as being the party member with a strong code (even if he thinks she's impulsive as hell at times), and she seems to have a soft spot for him for...some reason. (@punkpuppydragon plays said paladin, named Oz, so if he wants to shed insight on that, he can.)
His..."love interest" (which I blame entirely on @charlezarrd) is the party's tiefling sorcerer, Ashes. He got along with her because she WOULDN'T just rush straight into danger, is generally nice to most people to a fault, and seems to have a fairly decent head on her shoulders. Then Charles took a one-liner from a session about Jace getting annoyed at a gnoll for attacking Ashes and went "oh wait they could be a Thing™" and has been vaguely pushing in that direction for a bit (until Oz asked Ashes out, turning this whole situation into a weird love-triangle thing I won't totally get into here).
Jace helped Ashes tame and adopt Chester the Mimic, and is kind of currently trying to deal with two tiny Displacer Beast cubs that are rowdy but otherwise are basically just larger kittens with weird tentacly-things (since that's basically what displacer beasts are).
He's had at least two mental breakdowns so far due to The Trauma™ (the last one gave me a convenient excuse to have him leave the party and find his parents' journals when I started my current stint as GM to avoid having him just be the DMPC of the arc), he's oddly polite when dealing with people that aren't in the party (mostly due to his dad's influence) and has become much less obnoxious towards the current party members after his last breakdown when fighting a werewolf that murdered his own father out of sheer pettiness and revenge (a thing that Jace naturally has his own issues with).
He carves stuff in his spare time, and has unwittingly seduced a banshee with a stupidly-high Persuasion check and then a natural 20 on a Performance check for a song (he then absolutely misunderstood the intentions of said banshee, and things got awkward when he had to explain he was asexual and wasn't interested).
He lied to a gnome once about her whacky killer werewolf boyfriend actually loving her, because he didn't want to mar the guy's image in her mind too much (Ashes immediately called him out on this, with the gnome unknowingly present to see all this).
He got bodied by an ancient golden dragon and collapsed in front of the Guild Hall, bleeding out, because he can't even nearly die in a manner that isn't dramatic, which was fun.
He threatened a silver dragon (disguised as an elf, in fairness, but who was a known silver dragon) for being creepy towards Ashes.
He plays the kalimba.
That's Jace. He's weird. And fun to play.

Faith and Works
As a follower of Christ who does slip and stumble from time to time, I find myself often having to resolve something. This particular issue sticks out to me because I thought I have resolved it. This particular issue that I am talking about is the verses of Salvation in faith alone without works vs the verses about Faith without works being dead. I was on social media yesterday and there was a post about the true Gospel that linked to James.
I remember reading that part and seeing a key part of the verse talking about being justified before men, but I couldn't seem to find it. I was searching using the King James Bible. Now, I could have sworn that I have read that part about being justified before men, but that must have been another version or I may have even misremembered. That is when I realized that I am spiritually malnourished.
The whole passage (James 2:14-26) questions the man who says he has faith but does not have any works to show through it. Can this faith save him? He then gives an example of someone who is starving and lacking in clothing, pointing out if someone tells him to be fed and be covered without giving him the means to do so, it is meaningless. He then goes onto say "Show me your faith without works, and I will show you my faith by my works."
Another example he gives is Abraham, which is pretty interesting because Paul used Abraham as an example for his message of Salvation with faith without works. According to the author of James, Abraham did work in offering his son Isaac on the altar. This completed the faith in which Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness. He also uses Rahab as an example of someone that is justified by works when she had received the messengers and then sent them out another way.
One thing that comes to my mind in this debate is about Paul's warning to the Galatians about people preaching and spreading a false Gospel. He said "Even if we or an angel from heaven declares as gospel something other than what was declared, let him be accursed." (Galatians 1:8) Paul would then go on to talk about how Salvation does not depend on our works, but on the work and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
A Bible study that I used to go to pointed out that there are different programs going on. There is the Jewish program and the Gentile program. Paul was an apostle sent out to the gentiles. His message to the gentiles was summed up in this manner. Your faith is enough for salvation. James, or the author of James, speaking to the Jews, is going to have a slightly different message.
Even Paul himself made clear in his various letter to the Gentile nations that Grace and Faith in Christ is not a license to sin. "Where sin abounds, grace abounds more... What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein. (Romans 5: 20-21, 6: 1-2)
There is plenty of other things I can go into, but I might want to do a series on this at some point. I will say this as my conclusion. We can't work our way into the kingdom. We won't be able to earn everlasting life. Our righteousness is like filthy rags. You can't clean anything with something that is filthy. It takes something that is clean to perfectly clean something else. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins and is the one who can cleanse us. Those of us who have believed and received the Holy Spirit are going to develop characteristics of Christ. If you are saved, works are going to follow at some point. You will have something to show for it. What that actually looks like may vary according to the individual. The work I believe matters the most is the work of growing closer to the Lord. This will transform and renew your mind to the point where you will more willingly do God's will.

Considering we are talking about this, but I've already talked about this in my: "The Mystery of The Clock" post.
This is a continuation of this post made by @smalltown-byers (somehow I can't put your name, I'm sorry.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes, there are parallels with the Holloway dinner scene and the Creel dinner scene.
Apart from the fact that Billy much like his father has become abusive and it is creating a parallel between him and Victor who also have killed a family (suspected for Victor as I believe it was not done willingly or even him.)
Much like Jack in the Shining (who Dacre Montgomery, the actor who plays Billy took inspiration from) who tries to kill his family, Jack who also has a son with a bowlcut who has an ability that allows him to communicate with others through theirs and see past and future events. Kinda like El in the Void, Will with his True Sight and Kali with her Clairvoyance.
Apart from the fact that the Creel boy has flannel similar to Will and is an artist just like him...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Will and Billy who literally shares the same name, they are both short for William. They were both abused by their fathers and called gay slurs by both of their fathers.
But there is more...
There is again an old song just like "Dream A Little Dream Of Me" by Ella Fitzgerald released in 1950. (A song that I will get to in another post...)
The song in this scene is by Al Hazan called "Is It a Sin?" a song that came out in 1961 close to and after the Creel massacre.
A song about someone wondering if loving someone is wrong. Also wondering if the person he loves, loves him back...
Doesn't that remind you of anything ?
Tumblr media
What is primarly considered a sin during the 80's time period due to a certain crisis ? What is one of the main subtext of the show linked with rainbows ? Yep that's right homosexuality. Will who has been queer coded a lot out of all the other characters outside of Mike (who has rainbow drawings in his basement.) and Robin (who had titties on her shoes).
And what does Will do to escape his issues ? He plays D&D just like Mike in the original Montauk script.
D&D who was at the center of the satanic panic which this season is gonna elaborate upon. "Sin" going back to all the religious symbolism of the show.
It's also to be noted that the last person who killed themselves in Hawkins was in 1961. The same year this song by Al Hazan came out.
And what song plays at the end of the scene "American Pie" by Don McLean released in 1971, the year where most of the Party was born. There too there is religious symbolism and it makes us remember all the tragic events that happened in the 60's rock world. Rock which is a HUGE part of Billy and Will's spotify playlist (for Will mainly because of Jonathan, cutting back to the scene of "You don't have to like things because people tell you you're supposed to" in reference to their father).
"American Pie" also connects to the fact that Billy and Will have been connected to the American Flag. Billy had a poster for Season 3 mimicking one of Bruce Springsteen's album standing in front of the American flag and Will has an American flag on Castle Byers, who was built by Jonathan and Will after Lonnie left them, after he had a fight with Mike which he was destroying at the same time Billy was speaking to El and Max.
The same El who fought the Mind Flayer and is dating Mike, the same Mike that when everytime he does something that is connected to Will, the Mind Flayer reacts in a certain way. (Theater scene "looking at the lips", Weathertop "Mike and El leaving everyone" and the D&D fight between Mike and Will AND so much more moments.)
Even moments in particular places or particular situations where Will is, The Mind Flayer reacts. Bathrooms, clowns and bullying and even certains words...
But also!!!!!!
When Billy gets up and goes to talk to El and Max, what is behind him ? ⏰⏱🕰⏲🕒

That's right "Tick Tock, Mr. Clock."
That we see 12 times in the scene. Fitting with a clock who has 12 numbers.
Oh much like what Matthew Modine teased on his instagram! Yes he teased that there are actually 12 numbers that were in Hawkins Lab.
Tumblr media
You know the same numbers who also have a clock in their "Rainbow" Room where something really bad happened like in the Creel House
And that was called in the ST3 game: "Project Rainbow" and who in the comics was called "Project Indigo", a color of the rainbow.
Like the clock in the Creel House, who goes into the Upside Down after we see some red lighting which is...
...a power of the Mind Flayer.
Tumblr media
Both clocks being at 3:00. "The Witching Hour". A time of night that is associated with supernatural events, whereby witches, demons, psychic beings and ghosts or anything related to the supernatural or the unreal are thought to appear and be at their most powerful.

congrats on sticking with the writing for a year! I love reading your stuff and can't wait to see what you put out in the future.
If your still taking requests can I have a bad batch x reader (you can pick which catcher it is) where they aren't together but like each other and have to pretend to be parents to omega to get out of trouble?
(I hope that makes sense. If it doesn't or it doesn't appeal to you, it's alright. I'm just a sucker for Star Wars Dads like the batch and Din😆)
Thanks!
Pretending to be Omega's parents with Hunter
Hunter X GenderNeutral!Reader
Thank you so much anon!! And yes, this makes perfect sense!! I really loved this request actually!
Notes: I chose Hunter because he is the main dad of the group! Also the reader is gender neutral!
Warnings: Spoilers for the Bad Batch, reader has known them for years so this fits together better(established relationship), Reader and Hunter have some mutual pinning going on ;)
You had worked with the Bad Batch throughout most of the Clone Wars, and they considered you a trustworthy assaset. Of course you were a low life like many others in the galaxy.
You worked odd jobs to make ends meet. From Bounty Hunter to smuggler, you had done it all. The Bad Batch loved you and all that you did, especially when you helped them on jobs or with their ship.
Once the war ended you were making good money off of many jobs, well until some certain clones came knocking on your door. You couldn’t say no to your boys, so you willingly welcomed them back into your life.
Now you were on the run with them; your future career in odd jobs possibly went down the drain now that the Empire was on your ass as well. But oh was it fun working with them again. Sadly Crosshair was left behind and now a slave to the Empire instead of the Republic. You’d miss the grouchy bastard. You’d help your boys get him back soon though.
Since the last time you saw them, the Bad Batch had also gained a new member. A sweet little blonde girl named Omega. She was absolutely adorable, and Hunter had clearly adopted her in his head. He’d do anything for that kid.
It was precious. And it only made your attraction to him grow.
You had always liked Hunter a bit more than the others…..In a different way as well. You believed the feeling was mutual. Well, you hoped it was.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*The Havoc Marauder,(The Bad Batch’s ship), Space.*
Currently you are sitting in the ship, Omega sitting in your lap. You were telling her a story about some Bounty Job you had done a few years back. It was an incredible story, and of course you were the badass in it.
You exaggerated the story a bit, and Hunter clearly noticed. You glanced at him from the corner of your eye, Hunter looking at you with a knowing smirk. You winked at him before turning your full attention back to Omega.
Her eyes were wide as she listened with great interest. Every now and then she’d interrupt you with a question. She was extremely curious, but still a sweetheart.
“We’re nearly there. The market town is rather large but we could still be noticed. The Empire clearly has a hold on the city.” Tech spoke, glancing at everyone in the ship. “The only way in is with disguises.”
You sat down Omega, “We’ll finish the story later.” You whispered, winking at the young girl. She grinned widely, winking back.
Wrecker laughed from the back, setting down the Gonk droid. “Yeah! Our armor does stand out huh?!” He punched Echo’s shoulder, Echo winching and glaring at his brother. You grinned at the boys.
“Oh I have an idea for Hunter and you.” Tech looked at you, a mischievous glint in his eyes. Tech knew you and Hunter had been pinning after one another for some time, neither of you making a move. So he’d make the move for you both.
You could nearly read their minds at this point. So you knew just what he had in mind. You glared at Tech, “Bastard.” You mouthed, Tech shrugging his shoulders. Hunter raised his eyebrows, glancing at you both.
“What?” Hunter asked, crossing his arms as he stood up from his seat.
“You two go in, wearing civilian clothes of course. Take Omega…..and pretend to be her parents. No one would have any idea who you are. You’d just be a couple out with their child, shopping the day away.” Hunter glanced at you, something alight in his dark eyes.
“I love this idea!!” Omega chirped, grinning widely at you and Hunter. “We’d be a good family!!” Tech and Echo smirked at you and Hunter. Wrecker looked as oblivious as Omega, but still just as happy.
You smiled nervously at Hunter who merely nodded his head. “Fine.” You spoke as you stood up, walking into the back to change your clothes. Hunter patted Tech’s shoulder as passed him, following you.
Tech grinned at the others once you and Hunter left the room. Omega even knew what was going on. A perfect plan to get you two to hook up!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*The surface of the planet, the ship docks of the market town*
You walked off the ship, your hand holding Omega’s much smaller one. You, Omega, and Hunter were in similar civilian clothes, looking like an average couple with their daughter.
Echo followed with Tech, Wrecker staying on the ship as backup and as a guard. You grinned at their civilian clothes. Echo looked droid like and Tech was in some ugly outfit. Poor Tech looked uncomfortable while Hunter looked extremely comfortable.
“Alright. Separate ways, we grab what we need and bounce.” Hunter spoke, his firm voice making you pay great attention to him. You stared at his lips as he explained the plan.
“Everyone got it?” You nodded even though you hadn’t really listened…..His lips and handsome face were just that distracting. Tech and Echo left first, swiftly disappearing within the crowd of people.
“Alright then. Come on.” Hunter grabbed Omega’s free hand, leading you and her into the market town crowd.
You gently squeezed Omega's hand, “Have that list memorized sweetie?” You questioned, your voice sweet and dripping with honey. Omega grinned at the nickname, nodding eagerly. “Yup!” Hunter smiled back at his “daughter” and you, a soft look in his dark eyes.
About halfway through your little shopping spree Omega paused, looking at a toy cart. You smiled and pulled away from your “husband.” You led Omega to the cart, holding her tiny hand still. Hunter sighed, following you both.
She picked up a toy clone trooper, looking back at you and Hunter with puppy dog eyes. “How can I say no to that?!” You grinned, tossing the vendor the correct amount of credits.
“You spoil her.” Hunter spoke, putting his arm around you. You shrug, “So do you.” Hunter glared at you playfully, the vendor smiling at you both. “Perhaps.” Hunter spoke, leading you away by your waist; Omega followed, one hand holding Hunter’s and the other holding her new toy.
Once you two had all the goods you stopped, out of the way of the crowd of course. “We do make a decent couple don’t we?” You whispered quietly, Hunter’s face inches from yours so he could hear you.
Hunter nodded, Omega ignoring you both as she watched the crowd pass. “We should do this more often shouldn’t we?” He spoke, teasingly brushing his nose against yours. Your face got hot, a wide smile coming onto your face.
“Yes we should.” You whispered, your eyes flicking to his lips. Hunter smirked, finally connecting his lips with yours.
The wonderful kiss was interrupted by Omega screaming, “Ew!!! Tech! Echo! They’re kissing!!!!” You busted out laughing as she screamed over the comms. Hunter clearly died a little bit, hiding his face in your neck.
You laughed harder when you heard the laughing replies. “We’ll never live this down will we?” Hunter questioned. You shrugged, “I hope not.” You muttered, pressing your lips to his once again.
