I’m a sucker for dumbass men who absolutely have now idea they are literally dating, madly in love with each other and would go feral if any thing happens to their ‘best friend’, while:

So I made this post awhile back

Comparing a Top Gun IceMav scene to a 9-1-1 Buddie scene, and I made a little comment about the 9-1-1 writers being TopGun fans.

Well today I came to another realization about how they snuck some TopGun references into 9-1-1.

In the episode “Buck, Actually” there is an older gay couple who (spoiler alert) end up dying one after the other, The Notebook style. And what are these mens names?

THOMAS AND MITCHELL!!!!!

As in THOMAS Kazansky and Pete MITCHELL!!!!!!
