Here are a bunch of random pics from our several incursions in Athens City. Including the Areopagus, the outside of the Herodion, the damned spanish embassy just under the acropolis (no podían ser más céntricos xD), the zappeion, syntagma square, ermou street, the national gardens, panathenaic stadium, and Philopappos hill. I guess that's all :D
When i have more time i will try to share pics from the acropolis museum and the archaeological museum too :)

Athens Walking Tour: Evening Walk Monastiraki, Ermou Street, Syntagma
Join me on an evening walk around Athens. Begining in my favourite neighbourhood Thissio, into Monastiraki Square, along Ermou Street and then finishing at Syntagma Square.
It's full of travel tips, and I'll show, point out, and explain many things, such as the best bars, cafes, and restaurants, including the two best places to eat Souvlaki. The best Ancient Sites to visit. How about a 950-year-old shopping mall you can still walk around today, and a 1000-year-old church slap bang in the middle of the busiest shopping street in Athens, and lots more.
So, go look for your best toga, tie up your sandals and let's Go Explore Greece.

This is Class War
[Video] On a day like today οn February 12, 2012, tens of thousands of protesters against austerity battled for more than 6 hours against the riot police in the center of Athens, Greece.
The video was shot at about 21:00 (local time) outside the main cathedral of Athens.
At that particular time thousands of people, after the initial brutal and unprovoked attacks by the riot police in the Constitution Sq. (Syntagma Sq.) a little bit after 18:00, they simply refused to evacuate the city centre by force and flooded all the main and smaller streets around the Square (streets like Ermou, K. Serbia, Mitropoleos and the nearby squares of Monastiraki and Mitropoli).
Each time this "river" of people attempted to approach the Syntagma Sq. in front of the parliament they suffered successive attacks by the riot police with asphyxiating gas and flash-noise grenades.
It was amazing that the people stood their ground and refused to leave, while for at least 2 hours they were regrouping and attempting to approach the parliament again and again and again.
At the same time people with smartphones or radios were informing the crowd that the greek mass media were falsely reporting that the demonstrators were just a handful and even the last few were leaving the area. Some people laughed, some others got frustrated and angry by that fact, while realizing that the Police purpose was not to let people gather outside te parliament, because that was where all the TV cameras were positioned. It was to deter others to come and join the protesters.
Suddenly and while nothing was happening at the spot, as you may see in the video, from the rear, we heard sirens and people initially stood aside thinking that it was an ambulance that was trying to make its way. The rest is clearly depicted in the video.

I, 2, 13 plsssssss 💚
Oh hello amiga, let's do this, shall we?
1 - Which deities do you worship?
I mean, I tend to honour the most I can on the Noumenia-Deipnon basis, doing the monthly observances of the Attic Calendar and such. It's a nice way to connect with the Gods and also increasing the devotional activity on our daily lives.
But as for full on worship, I mostly focus on Apollon (to no one's surprise) and Hekate. Also dedicating proper monthly rituals to Them alongside Selene, Artemis and Helios. These are the Gods I mostly worship and dedicate special dates to Them (Like the full moon to Artemis, Selene and Hekate or a midday sun ritual to Apollon and Helios).
And due to my monthly observances, I tend to make offerings and pray a lot to many other Gods who also have an image on my oikos - Like Athena (on Tritogeneia) or Hermes (on Ermou Tetras). I also have a space for Ares, Bacchus and Hephaestus on my home shrine, They all have been super important in my life in specific moments. And as part of being in a Hellenic Group, we end up worshipping a lot of the Gods, dedicating special monthly celebrations to some of them - a few weeks back, we celebrated Athena and Her retinue.

2 - How long have you been practising Hellenism?
Ooh boi, I've been on this path since 2020, as a proper hellenic and such. Beforehand, I used to be a neopagan of sorts who mashed a bit of worship and witchcraft. Then, I finally decided to read more about Hellenic Polytheism and it's values, philosophy and such.
It really gave me a good ground to step upon and build my spiritual life back up.
13 - Who was the first deity you started worshipping?
Hmmm, Apollon. Yeah, what a shock, right?
Lmao.
