Werbung. "Sieh mich an" von Erin Stewart habe ich vom Bloggerportal erhalten. Allerdings habe ich mir das englische eBook für 1,08€ gekauft, damit ich es auf dem Weg zur Buchmesse täglich lesen konnte. Das schwere Buch wollte ich dann doch nicht mitnehmen 😁 Dadurch habe ich beides im Vergleich. Narben. Davon hat Ava jede Menge. Seit dem Brand. Bei dem ihre Eltern und ihre Cousine und Leben gekommen sind. . Ava, die danach im Koma lag und schließlich statt eines Daumens ihren großen Zeh an dieser Stelle hat. Doch Ava kämpft, schimpft, ist genervt und fühlt alles, was Teens eben so fühlen. Bis hin zum verliebt sein und dem Wissen, dass nie jemand sich in "eine wie sie" verlieben könnte. Dabei ist Ava so viel mehr als "nur" ihre Narben. 🥀 Das Buch ist intensiv und auch witzig. Mutig, darüber zu schreiben. Möglicherweise öffnet sich jeder, der es gelesen und bewertet hat, ebenfalls ein Stückchen. Ist nicht auszuschließen. Ich habe selbst viele Narben. Was sie erzählen? Dies und das und auch von der Geburt einiges. Avas Narben sind der Abschluss und Anfang. Dieses Buch ist etwas besonderes. Es ist eine Geschichte einer jungen Frau, die genau dann Freundschaft findet, als sie es nicht erwartet und die stärker ist, als sie je für möglich gehalten hat.
