What is Lila's wish?

 Back in season 1, when Volpina's character design was first hinted, a commotion had occurred over the exciting possibility of a new hero appearing in the series. Once it was revealed this characters civilian name was Lila, naturally, fans had assumed Lila was destined to be a new addition to the team of heroes the moment they realized her design detailed her wearing a Fox themed attire, which matched the fox miraculous we all saw in the miracle box (back then, "Origins" released first so we all saw the miracle box before "Volpina" aired).

Of course, it was a major blow the moment it was discovered that Lila was not at all the person people in the fanbase had envisioned her to be. She was no hero, in fact, she was far from that. For the longest time, it was anticipated that maybe one day we would see new heroes added to Ladybug and Cat Noir’s team now that we knew there were other miraculous to foreshadow such an exciting possibility.

However, aside from any potential new heroes being included into the show, there was an additional factor which had been overlooked until the end of season 1, which was that Hawkmoth could not be the main villain forever. Sooner or later, someone would come along to take the title of the primary villain. After "Volpina" aired, it became apparent that Lila would be set up as an additional antagonist to the show, but it wasn't until "Time tagger” did it become clear just how much of a threat Lila would become. When Hawkmoth assumed he was  close to victory, thanks to “his” akumatized villain of the future, Timetagger reveals Hawkmoth will not be the holder of the butterfly miraculous in the future. And so, with the episode ending with Lila having a moment with Chris, who would be akumatized into Timetagger in the future, it had now been set in stone that Lila would become the future butterfly miraculous holder and the new villain of Paris. 

However, despite this interesting revelation, no one knew exactly what Lila’s intentions would be in the future when she sought the power of the ladybug and cat miraculous. The two miraculous are capable of granting anyone a wish if they manage to obtain them, it was because of its immense powers to grant whatever a person wanted that Gabriel sought it to cure Emelie from the effects of the broken peacock miraculous, but knowing Lila is fully capable of obtaining whatever she wants by lying and manipulating others, we have yet to know what exactly will happen in Lila’s life that will lead her to seek the wish granting powers of the miraculous.

Although Lila had been displayed throughout the series to be fully capable of obtaining whatever she wanted through her own abilities, its discovered in “Onichan” that Lila's life with her family is far from the adventurous and lavish life she would often tell others, in fact, judging by her upset expression as she leaves her home, we come to find that Lila is not happy with the life she is living with her family. 

One of her moms works at an embassy, as a result, she is not around much and only briefly stops by the house to check on Lila and prepare her breakfast lunch and dinner for the day. She always arrives home late and often times does work through the weekends.

Lila's other mom had been noted to work at the “Style queen magazine”, but due to Audrey being the head of the company and very demanding of her employees, it was obvious that life in the office was just as grueling of a work place, meaning neither of them could spend much time at home to properly observe Lila and realize she had been lying to them about the school being closed for months, and had even constructed an even bigger lie to convince the teacher and student body that she traveled the world working with prince Ali and his family to combat various global issues. Lila's life revolved around creating an entirely new persona only a rare few would come to realize was fake, and she made sure her moms would never know she was doing this both in and outside of the house. 

Not much is known yet about Lila’s emotional connection to her moms, let alone if family would be her reason to pursue the miraculous. But despite them being very loving and supportive of her when they do show up on screen, Lila is not above lying to them in order to ensure she continues to maintain the fake life she had worked hard to build. From what is understood so far, given her mothers busy schedules, Lila's behavior stemmed from being devoid of attention as her mothers continued to be preoccupied with their careers, so in order to compensate for the lack of attention her two moms failed to give her, Lila had begun to lie to people outside her family to draw attention onto herself.

However, it had become clear that over time, her parents were no longer the sole reason for her being the way she is. Lila gained a taste for manipulating others to her advantage, and despite the few people(Marinette and Adrien) who were willing to explain to her that what she was doing was wrong, Lila genuinely had no interest in stopping what she was doing, not because she couldn't, but because she liked what her talents could provide her. 

And with her now having accomplished the impossible task of being recognized by Gabriel as his new muse, and even be included as one of the avatars to the alliance rings, Lila no doubt felt a sense of pride in knowing she was no longer just pretending to be someone who is more accomplished than others, she was no longer just some ordinary person, she was better than the rest, she was valuable. No matter where she goes, people will know who she is the moment they see her as their avatar. But if someone, anyone, dared to interfere with the world she had created around herself, a world where all eyes would fall onto her, then she would not hesitate to become vindictive and spiteful towards anyone who wasn't willing to fall into the line she had set.

If they weren't willing to fall into place and side with her to let her be the one to obtain whatever she wanted, regardless of who she might take advantage of in the process, then she would not hesitate to view them as an obstacle that needed to be removed, this obstacle was of course, primarily Marinette.

Lila's deceit can't go on forever, however, although Adrien said long ago that everyone would quickly turn against her the moment they discovered she lied to them about who she really was, it would appear as though Collège Françoise Dupont and the entire student body, genuinely did not mean much to her. It was never Lila's intention to form an actual attachment to anyone at the school, it was only something she would need to feel involved in for as long as she wanted, and so far, she appeared to be devoted to staying now that she knew she had more to lose, those things being of course, her delusional romance with Adrien, her new modeling career with Gabriel and her vengeance against Marinette. Its possible that if all of these things were to be stripped from her, then it would become a factor in her drive to pursue the miraculous. But despite all this, there is also one big mystery to Lila that could explain her future motive to pursue the miraculous, and that is knowing what she did during her months away after the first season. 

 During the months of school Lila missed, she wasn't just sitting in her room, she was likely still walking out and about among other civilians doing other things while also managing to avoid everyone else who knew her at Francoise Dupont. We may not know what she was really doing during that time yet, but what we do know is, it was something which needed a large portion of her attention to the point of her realizing she needed to leave Françoise Dupont for a few months. 

Something happened to Lila, and the answers to what could really be going on in her life that will lead her to pursue a wish, may be within those months she was away from school, and whatever it is that Lila wants, must of course be something that is far beyond her control to achieve, but it could be achieved through a wish from the Ladybug and Cat miraculous the moment she learns of its power, but lets just wait and see what the show has to say. (no comment of other released episode as I am waiting to see them in order).

Rewatching ML Season 3

Chameleon: Adrien pulls away from Lila. He’s very nice to her, but tells her not to lie to him. Akumatised Lila pretends to be mean Adrien. Chat Noir yet again sacrifices himself for Ladybug. Only Marinette and Adrien don’t fall for Lila’s lies. Adrien sit next to Marinette, but the whole class ends up sitting as they used to.

Animaestro: “Ladybug PV” as in-universe film. Marinette, why are you stupid enough to work with Chloé.

Bakerix: —

Backwarder: Alix says Adrien hates lies. Marinette giving Adrien the prescription is hilarious. So is Gabriel having a temporary villain lair in the train toilet.

Reflekdoll: Poor Juleka. So now Gabriel doesn’t care about Nathalie risking her life. Marinette and Adrien look cool as Lady Noire and Mister Bug. I think the episode is a little too critical of Chat Noir.

Weredad: Gabriel Akumatised a baby again. Marichat scenes. Have Adrien got only twenty peas to eat? His meal is ridiculous. Maybe he is forced to diet, because apparently he eats far too much cheese. Chat Noir says loneliness and isolation are the worst.

Silencer: —

Onichan: Calm down, Marinette, Adrien is kind and a little naive, but he isn’t stupid. Gabriel also thinks Adrien’s too naive. Adrien is fed up with girls fighting over him, but is touched by Kagami’s love for him.

Miraculer: Ladybug should listen to Chat Noir’s advice about talking to Chloé. Ladybug is too focused on defeating the villain, ignoring the emotional aspect. Chloé resists the Akuma. Chat Noir is hit with the Cataclism twice. Chloé is Queen Bee again.

Amnesio: Ladybug and Chat Noir lose their memory, detransform in front of each other and quickly assume they’re a couple, and they kiss. Adrien says he wouldn’t hide his identity from his girlfriend.

Desperada: Ladrien scenes. Adrien, where has your hair gone? Ladybug laughs at Adrien/Aspik’s jokes, but not Chat Noir’s. Adrien, what do you mean you’ve been trying for MONTHS.

Startrain: In the train Marinette sleeps on Adrien’s shoulder.

Kwami Buster: Adrien suspects that Marinette is Ladybug. Master Fu says using too many Miraculouses at once makes you mad (I see you, Monarch). Marinette as Mouse is cute, Adrien as Mr Banana is funny. Marinette tricks Chat Noir into believing that she can’t be Ladybug.

Feast: Master Fu’s backstory. Adrien’s worried about Nathalie.

Gamer 2.0: Chat Noir sacrifices himself.

Stormy Weather 2: There’re a lot of scenes from previous episodes. Marinette admits Adrien is her friend now. Nathalie admits she’s fallen in love with Gabriel and started caring about Adrien. Adrien recalls good moments with his father, but one of the memories is based on a lie (his father giving him the scarf). Plagg says Gabriel in the inside is either soft or rotten and while Adrien wants to believe the former, the latter is likely true. The second Christmas episode must have been before this episode.

Ikari Gozen: Kagami seems autistic. Chat Noir seems impressed with Kagami using the Dragon Miraculous. Adrien told Kagami that Marinette is his friend.

Timetagger: Ladybug and Chat Noir are bored and fed up with fighting Mr Pigeon for the 24th time. I wonder if Timetagger comes from their timeline or alternate timeline. Frankly speaking, I don’t treat those revelations about the future seriously. (#NoorooDeservesBetter) What’s more, Chat Noir and Nathalie say that future isn’t set in stone. From Cat Blanc we know that Bunnyx can travel to the future moments that ultimately become an alternate, non-existent timeline, so this is how I see the future that Timetagger comes from.

Party Crusher: Marinette, why are you so stupid. Adrien is surprised to see Marinette, but smiles when she still pretends to be Marino. Gabriel: ‘Joy? What’s going on in my house?!’ 

The Puppeteer 2: It’s both funny and sad that Adrien starts to believe that Marinette doesn’t like him at all. Adrien is just as silly as Marinette. Marinette kisses Adrien. Short Ladrien moment. Adrien tells Marinette that the girl he loves doesn’t like his jokes either.

Cat Blanc: The problem stems from the relationship between Adrien and his father. Adrien still loves him, but Gabriel is ready to use him to achieve his goal. This episode also shows that though Adrien is very nice and as Chat Noir he’s a carefree joker, he also has a lot of pain and anger inside. Additionally, reveals full of angst only weakens our superheroes.

Félix: Félix is fun to watch, he’s smart but emotionally unstable. He must be very lonely. Nathalie: Let’s Akumatise some teenagers.

Ladybug: Adrien says Marinette is fantastic. He stands up for Marinette when Lila accuses her of cheating. Marinette would’ve been Akumatised, if Nathalie hadn’t felt bad. Gabriel tells Nathalie not to use the Peacock Miraculous, but she does it behind his back. The Senti-Ladybug plot is a bit creepy in the context of season 5. Adrien forces Lila to withdraw the accusation.

Heart Hunter: Adrien likes Marinette with her hair down. She leaves him and Kagami alone after they’ve gone for ice-cream. She’s too distracted and makes a mistake that will result in loosing Master Fu. Chat Noir flirts with Ryuko. Chloé is jealous and joins Hawk Moth. Adrien and Kagami kiss.

Miracle Queen: Adrien says he wasn’t ready for the kiss and Kagami is hurt. Ladybug becomes the guardian of the Miraculouses. Will she forget everything in the future too?

Chris Master: I can’t stand that terrible old man in a red suit.

Miraculous World: New York: It looks like fanfiction a bit? Like everything’s a little over the top. The worst thing is Chat Noir accidentally killing a girl, it’s just so unnecessarily traumatic. It looks like this is his punishment for being dishonest with Ladybug. And with him sacrificing himself every other week and having some experience in being hit with the Cataclysm (Miraculer), I think he’d rather Cataclysm himself than an innocent girl.

Adrigami vs Feligami parallels and contrasts.

Attempts to be “Prince Charming”.

Back in Frozer, Adrien wanted to tie Kagami’s ice skates for her. However because Adrien’s ice skates weren’t tied, Kagami misunderstood and thought he wanted to ask her if she could tie his ice skates for him. She was annoyed and she told him that she’s not going to tell anyone that he doesn’t know how to tie ice skates.

In Pretension, Felix stated that He wanted to free Kagami from Tomoe after she believed that he was taking her back to her mother. Kagami became angry, attacked him and quickly informed Felix that she can take care of herself. (Which means She likely wouldn’t have been pleased if she knew Adrien’s intentions back in Frozer.)

Interacting with other Girls.

During Season 4, Kagami was furious at Adrien because he lied to her. While Adrien couldn’t tell her that he’s Chat Noir, that wasn’t the only problem with their relationship.

Adrien did express some attraction to Kagami but He also was attracted to Ladybug. During Onichan, Adrien flirted with Kagami at the end of the episode, He spoke of making himself more worthy of her knowing that she had feelings for him. But later in Cat Blanc, Adrien more or less asked Marinette to be his girlfriend when he realized that She’s Ladybug. In Lies, Adrien was hoping that someone would get Akumatized so he could hang out with Ladybug, who he still likes, while dating Kagami. Plus Adrien spent more time paying attention to Marinette than Kagami during Frozer.

(To be Fair, Adrien likely didn’t know what else to do. Kagami did once get Akumatized because she was jealous that He was with Lila instead of her. Kagami was angry with him for his indecisiveness. So in His mind, if He didn’t flirt with her and date her, She’ll get Akumatized and/or might not want to be friends with him anymore. )

In Emotion, Knowing that Kagami likes Adrien and He was pretending to be Adrien, Felix had silently asked Kagami what she thought before he danced with Marinette. (Although Félix shouldn’t have danced with Marinette at all because she thought he was Adrien) Later, unless something Changes in the Future Seasons, Felix only gives attention to Kagami.

The Hook Up.

Kagami had developed a crush on Adrien and in the Season 3 finale, She decided that she didn’t want to wait anymore to get together. (Although she didn’t want to hurt Marinette’s feelings) She kissed Adrien and Adrien wasn’t sure how he felt. He answered that he wasn’t ready and Kagami told Adrien that his indecision was hurtful. At the end of Miracle Queen, it appears that Adrien agreed to be Kagami’s boyfriend.

During Pretension, Felix and Kagami made plans to go on a date offscreen. When Ladybug and Chat Noir confronted Felix for kidnapping Kagami and tried demanding him to release her, Kagami began defending him. Kagami stated that she was wrong about him. Felix and Kagami looked at each other, smiled and blushed. Later offscreen, Kagami and Félix made plans to secretly go on a date.

Kagami surprises Adrien/Félix, after which, they become interested in her.

During Riposte, Adrien initially believed Kagami was a Boy while they were fighting. However when he went to speak to her after the match, He saw that Kagami’s a girl. He instantly became attracted to her. (Not sure why though but some suggested that she reminded him of Ladybug. ) Kagami went In her car and Adrien began looking her and her family up on the internet while chasing Her.

During Emotion, Felix went to go kiss Kagami’s hand and was shocked that She’s a Senti. Felix likely believed He and Adrien were the only Sentis. At the end of the episode, Felix fondly stated that not everyone was a monster when speaking to Amelie. (He was presumably referring to Kagami.) In Pretension, it’s confirmed that he developed a crush on Her. Felix began stalking her.

Kagami’s first conversation with them.

In Riposte, Adrien suggested that they do a rematch, Kagami rejected. Kagami stated that there was no point because he already won. She began talking about her family’s rules and stated that there were no second chances in her family.

In Emotion, after entering the party, Felix and Kagami spoke to each other. Kagami complimented him on infuriating Tomoe and Gabriel while pointing out that He shouldn’t have kissed her hand. Felix called her admirable for shutting off her feelings because of her friendship with Marinette. Kagami began talking about her family’s traditions and Félix suggested that they run away. Kagami initially called him crazy but Félix insisted that he could, which made Kagami delighted.

How Lying affects their relationship.

Kagami didn’t like Adrien lying to her and how he lied to get away from her. So Kagami dumped him and she stayed mad at him for a little while.

All of Felix’s lies have caused him and Kagami to meet. Which led to them deciding to like each other.

Kagami was shown to still be mad at Adrien for lying when She and Félix first met. (Coincidence?)

What Kagami wanted them to be like

Kagami wanted Adrien to have more of Felix’s qualities. Throughout Season 3, Kagami is the most attracted to Adrien when he says/does something that Félix would do. Kagami laughed with Adrien when he was talking about how he decided to be with his friends instead of doing what GabrIel wanted him to do. During Heart Hunter, She enjoyed how disobedient she, Adrien and Marinette were being. During Risk, Kagami was mad at Adrien for doing what others want him to do.

Kagami wanted Felix to stop being a villain. She also wanted Félix to trust The Heroes. It’s unclear why she glared at Félix during Gabriel Agreste, but presumably she was mad at him for what he did in Félix.

Good day! I really enjoy reading your analysis on MLB characters and I wonder if you have any opinions on Lila and her designs on Adrien?

Fan-fic sometimes explain her infatuation away as her being a gold digger, but this doesn't hold water since in the episode "Onichan", Kagami prevents Lila from telling anything but the truth otherwise her horn grows.

When she says "I love Adrien so much" the horn doesn't grow, but her actions seem rooted more in possessing Adrien than loving him.

What do you think? Is Lila motivated by love like Marinette and Kagami are, but her actions are more devious? Or is she just attracted to his status as a ticket to popularity?

Definitions of love differ for everyone, so I wouldn't be surprised if Lila does think that she loves Adrien, but what does she love? Does she love the parts of him Marinette and Kagami love? Or does she love another part of him that is more selfish and fits her designs.

I also think there's some merit in wondering if the horn detects actual lies, or if the horn is based off whether or not the person is telling intentional lies. Perhaps in this scenario, Lila genuinely believes she loves Adrien. And why shouldn't she? It's not too far-fetched for her to be in love with the idea of love, instead of love itself. With that in mind, as long as Lila thinks she's in love, than I can see why the horn didn't go off.

Episode 1

(OG story of my Naruto OC)

"Aline! Stop sleeping during class!"

-"Sorry sensei~"

"Aline what is the fuction of Golgi body?"

-"The power house of the cell?"

"That's Mitochondria!"

"Who will shoot first? Aline? Okay, come up"

- *takes in a deep breath and starts shooting kunais aiming for the target*

"Aline! Very good, not a single miss"

"Aline you barely passed the written exams, you need to do very well for the Practicals"

-*Nods in tiny*

"Kaya Aline, will go in next" the proctor declared and she nodded. "Don't worry you're gonna do great!" Riki whispered to her. She entered as soon as the last candidate walked out. She walks in to see the villages Elder Granny sitting there beside their sensei and the sensei of the other section.

Basic chakra jutsu (wind style storm breathing)

"Come forth child" the Granny said as Aline timidly stepped up. "We'll see 3 jutsus from you, you can choose from these four". Aline shook her head and said "I'll do all four". "Are you sure" the other sensei said, but her sensei gave her an assuring smile. "Cloning jutsu" she said making the hand signs and there stood another Aline beside her, waving her hand. The teachers seemed impressed. Next, she asked her sensei "Sensei please throw a Kunai". "Are you sure?" The other sensei asked and Aline nodded. Her sensei casually pulled out a kunai and threw it at Aline and within a fraction of seconds the kunai hit the nearby empty chair. And there stood Aline in the corner. The three examiners nodded their heads in appreciation.

Next, walking on the wall, that's a piece of cake for her really, she does pretty much everyday to catch her brother who's always up to shenanigans. She didn't even need to do a hand sign, really, she simply walked to the back wall and started walking on it, and reached the ceiling. She threw a peace sign and kicked the wall to come down at the perfect fighting stance. The last, special chakra infuse test "Please hold onto the papers" she said, and she took a deep breath and made the hand-signs "Wind style, Storm breather" and she blew, and immediately the wind picked speed as high speed wind left her mouth which also left them spellbound. No it's not something strange for a 13 year old kid to be so good with elemental chakra, but it's strange for the kid who barely passed the written exam. "Good job Aline, you may step out, you'll get to know the results tomorrow" Sensei said and she bowed and walked out. "How was it?" Riki, her only friend, more like the one who has always stuck with her asked. She nodded and walked off.

"Onichan!" A young child shouted he ran and hugged Aline as soon as she left the academy. "Akio! How was school?" She asked, patting his head and the kid started rambling about the new things they learnt.

"Aline! It went your way!" Sana screamed. "Copy that!" Aline said jumped for it, catching the duck before it could fly away again.

"Good job guys, the feudal lord would be very happy that you found his favourite goose"

"Finding lost cats, dogs, toads and ducks! This is stupid" Aline grumbled. "First of all this is Goose, but I agree with her Sensei!" Sana grumbled. Sensei Takashi Mitsuya, the sensei of Team 5 of the new sand genins, just sighed and kept walking as he made Riki hold the duck goose.

"So after many pleas we have received a new kind of mission" Mitsuya Sensei said "Where are Aline and RIki?" he asked after looking around. "They went to drop Akio to school" Sana said "There they come".

"So what's the mission today, Sensei?" Aline asked, "Today we track a thief or thieves. Some one tried to break into the museum, we need to know why and where they are, so far as the curator says, nothing has been stolen. The news in confidential, so I need the mouths shut" He said and the excited kids nodded, finally being able to do a new mission.

They reached the museum and found the curator at the door with some guards. "You came? The thieves have run away" the curator said. As you crossed the guards. "We're here to look into it further" Sensei said. "This way" he said and the 3 Genin walked straight towards the scene as their sensei stayed back talking to the curator talking note of important information.

"Look at the glass? They shattered it and entered? Amateurs" Sana said. "But it's strange, why would such dumb people even try something like this? Like, look at the footprints, they're not even trying to be careful" Riki was saying and suddenly thunder struck onto his and Aline's mind as their eyes went wide "It's like they wanted to be caught!" Alone exclaimed " It's AMBUSH!" Sana completed the sentence and they ran to their Sensei. "... Yeah we sealed the gates immediately, this is the only exit and it's guarded.-" the man was interrupted by the trio. "SENSEI! THE PUPPETS WERE AMBUSH" Aline said and Mitsuya's eyes went wide. "check the floors! Now! You three guard the door!"

"In formation B" Sana shouted and Riki and Aline took positions. 4 chunins still guarding the area. Suddenly, a short scream shot out from one of the Chunin's in the corridor, and they all looked towards them on alert, 2 of those 4 dropped to the ground screaming in immense agony. A man in a long grey cape appeared, Aline quickly drew her fans to deflect the thin needles that were thrown in their way.

"Careful" Riki said as he deflected the next kunai and Sana threw a Kunai with a bomb instead. "Watch out for his needles" Aline warned and then shouted "Formation D" and the three of them attacked together. They lunged and surrounded the man. Who was looking at the three of them, the Chunin's all down or too hurt to move can't be of any help. More footsteps sound as they know the others are on their way. Suddenly, Aline notices that the thief's eyes square out on Riki. She immediately rushes and pushes him away and now the man is suddenly right in front of her, and before she realises she felt a sting on her arm. Her eyes started getting hazy as she tried to focus on the four bars tattoo on the man's neck. A piercing scream left Aline's mouth as she dropped to the ground holding her arm. It felt like her arm was on fire from the inside.

"It's Burning sorrow!" Riki exclaimed as Mitsuya picked Aline up, a few of the Chunin's who were following him, now went after the thief who broke into a sprint the moment Aline dropped to the ground.

"Quick we need to take her to Lady Chio. Now!" Mitsuya exclaimed. "Aline stay with us!" Sana said worried at the girl who was still groaning in pain. "It hurts! It hurts! Let me just rest!" She pleaded. "No!" Riki screamed as he and Sana followed their Sensei who ran as fast as he could. "Think of Akio and Gudetama!" Sana reminded her, or her brother and her little ginger floor ball. I hope those two are safe, Aline thought.

The last thing she remembered was the face of the village granny, who sounded frantic when team 5 brought in the groaning and shattered in pain Aline, before she saw darkness.

She felt groggy, her eye lids felt so heavy. There were hushed voices around her. Some of them sounded very familiar and some sounded unfamiliar. Very slowly Aline tried to open her eyes. She shut it immediately as the light stung her eyes. She slowly reopened them, she felt channels made into her wrist and stomach, which hurt. She slowly looked around and found Riki's sleeping form by her bed. She wanted to call him, but she couldn't, her throat was way too parched. "ALINE!" a very familiar voice broke the silence of the room, as Sana and a granny entered the room. Riki jerked up and looked at you, both your friends teary eyed. You tried to form words but you couldn't. The Granny rushed to give you some water. By then Sana was full on sobbing and Riki was wiping his eyes. "Do you feel any pain anywhere?" Granny asked, and you shook your head no. "Now, now. She's up stop crying" she said and walked out.

"Guys?" Aline called out with wide arms and the two rushed to hug her. An out of breath Mitsuya was then seen on the window. "Aline!" Mitsuya called "My child!" He said and hugged all three. "Sen-sei! Can't-breathe!" Aline croaked out. "Oh sorry" he said loosening his hold. After they talked about how she felt she asked.

"Where is Akio? How is Gudetama? What about the thief and the scroll?" She asked as realisation hit her.

"Calm down. Akio is at school, it's Wednesday. You were out for 5 days, you were barely breathing when we got you here, thanks to Lady Chiyo and her team, you're alive!" Sana said. Aline realised the granny was Lady Chiyo and nodded. "Gudetama is fine, I'll get Akio after his school today, don't worry me and Riki helped out Grandpa while you were here" Sana assured Aline, to which the girl smiled. "And the thief and the scroll?" Aline asked.

"The scroll was found, the thief dropped the scroll and ran when he was surrounded by our Ops. We think it was a rogue" Mitsuya said. "He had this tattoo, like 4 bars beside his eye.

"4 bars?" Riki repeated.

Protection parallels with Riposte? Beyond the same akuma

I don't think there are many parallels here besides Adrien explaining to Kagami how much he cares about Marinette and defending Marinette in the end of both episodes, but Protection has a lot of similarities with Onichan.

In both P and O Kagami is manipulated by Lila, in Onichan she is after Lila because of her feelings for Adrien while in Protection she is after Marinette because of her feelings for Adrien, Gabriel and Lila work together in both episodes, in O Gabriel learns Lila is a manipulator and befriends her for the said thing while in P Lila knows Gabriel is Monarch and is messing with him.

Now there are probably more but I can't remember rn. I didn't watch Riposte nor Onichan in years.

So I realized I probably haven't seen a lot of the episodes in English and in order. And since I was bored the other evening, I started rewatching ML starting at season 3. Some thoughts...

Chameleon: Evil, psychotic Lila who pretends to be nice is actually an amazing premise for a villain. But the class should know better, at least to SOME degree, or her lies should be more believable. Poor sweet Adrien continues to believe Lila just lies for attention and that he can change her. Marinette facing serious threats from Lila and almost getting akumatized was very dramatic. The kissing akuma is thematic, but still very uncomfortable to witness. Adrien looks at Marinette and smiles, leaving us all dead. 7/10

Animaestro: Marinette may be absolutely off-the-wall doing some bat-whack things in this episode, but the genre-savvy 2D/3D fight is just too much fun to hate the whole episode. 5/10

Bakerix: My dad is basically this man, but with less talent for baking bread. HARD pass. 2/10

Backwarder: Good akuma concept with Lenore's powers and the lucky charm solution. Miraculous history/backstory. Adrien and Gabriel both transforming in a train bathroom is comedic gold. A little Adrienette and a Ladynoir hand kiss. 6.5/10

Refleckdoll: Sigh. Again, Juleka? Ok ok. The senti/akuma is kinda lame. But I do like Juleka, regardless of hating Refleckta. And we got classmates in a reasonable setting. Adrien helping Marinette because he's best boi. Then we have Mayura serving A Lookë™. Not to mention Kwami SWAP. We love to Mister Bug AND Lady Noire... (although SMH, let Mister Bug figure out his own dang Lucky Charm) 7/10

Weredad: Now here's a fun episode to watch after Elation. SO MUCH MARICHAT AWKWARDNESS. I do have a few problems with this episode lie the contrived setup for the plot, the dialogue that keeps explaining people's previously-established motivations, and the rushed conclusion to Marinette's "crush" Still, an absolute DELIGHT. Love the fairytale motif too. 8.5/10

Silencer: I liked the premise of the music industry being brutal and a villain using your voice. But I hate the execution. I don't like Luka's declarations. Or the use of a montage as a replacement for relationship development... although I don't like the chemistry between Luka and Marinette, so I'm happy not to see more of it at the same time. There's some fun or clever moments, throughout, but I'm not sure I'm sold on this episode overall. 3/10 Onichan: Possibly one of the weirdest akumas, but Adrien IMMEDIATELY recognizes her. Kagami being akumatized over Adrien also felt too sudden given how little we've seen of them together this season. Lila being her worst self even while being hunted down... typical. Adrien as Chat Noir watching girls fight over him is hilarious. But the girls themselves, including Marinette, are all being..... well, deranged. 5/10 Miraculer: Gabriel teaming up with Lila to manipulate Chloe... only for Sabrina to get upset.... Miraculer could have been the most difficult villain to defeat, but alas.... Sabrina. We have some interesting momenst with Nino and Alya, Sabrina, and even Chat getting cataclysmed, but alas not much to keep my attention for long. 5/10 Oblivio: Such a fun episode start-to-finish. Almost nothing here I don't like. I love the way it starts mid-fight and shows us only what Chat and Ladybug know. Everything is great, but it somehow feels like it could have been just a little.... more. 9/10 Desperada: Some parts of this episode are a little ridiculous. Especially with the messy and confusing Luka/Marinette/Adrien/Kagami dynamics. And Adrien's snake outfit hurts me. But I do love seeing Ladrien as a superhero duo and seeing the necessity of having Chat Noir helping Ladybug at the same time. I just feel the story is muddled. 6/10

Chris Master: I don't care what anyone says, this episode is a hoot AND a holler. I absolutely consider it iconic. Yes, this is stupid. I don't care 7/10 Startrain: Minor moment with cute, wholesome Adrienette, a good akuma concept, plus Max kills it. But really Sabrina? and RIP to everyone's braincells when Adrien and Marinette both just happen to go missing before LB and CN appear. 7/10 Kwami Buster: Mrs. Mendeleiev is whack and the Kwamis are horrifying, but Multimouse is bae. PLEASE. Marinette is on some next-level brain juice with her entire elaborate plan. Meanwhile, Adrien just plays dumb. There are two types of people here.... and there are both idiots in love with each other. 6.5/10

What makes you say batman would adopt Lila? I could see him adopting Adrien, to get him away from Gabriel, but not Lila. Would you mind saying why?

(Admittedly I've also only seen one episode with Lila actually in it and so my knowledge of her is mainly through the fandom and I know how salty they can get w/ her. I'm actually really interested in your opinion.)

-Can they fight? (no) -Can they Learn to fight? (possibly! she threw down as volpina) -Potential to be goth? (i see it) -Family problems? (Watch the beginning of OniChan where it's just Lila. I also have an analysis on it)

She's a kid with no direct in life with a coping mechanism of Freudian lying and the need to help corrupt adults around her cause they think she's smart even if it's just to use her.

Compare/Contrast of Luz Noceda and Adrien Agreste

Ok. Here I’ll be going over a few points that explain the similarities and differences between Luz Noceda from the TV series The Owl House and Adrien Agreste from the TV series Miraculous Tales Of Ladybug And Chat Noir. I know at first glance, it might not seem like they have much in common and if you ask me, Adrien’s definitely more comparible to Hunter AKA The Golden Guard. But after thinking it over, I realized that they actually do and these 2 are also pretty different too. Also, Spoiler Alert for The Owl House and Miraculous Tales Of Ladybug And Chat Noir. With that out of the way, let’s dive right in.

Both Luz and Adrien want to be free and let their wild sides out. This was shown in ‘A Lying Witch and a Warden’ and ‘Ladybug & Cat Noir (Origins - Part 1)’ respectively. The difference between them here though is what caused them to get like that. In Adrien’s case, it was an over controlling father who refused to even let him go to school. In Luz’s case, it was her inability to (figuratively) separate fantasy from reality. Thankfully, in Luz’s case, throughout the course of The Owl House TV series, she’s grown and learned to do just that. An example is shown in the episode ‘Wing It Like A Witch’ where Luz learned that mimicking a movie won’t always help her friends.

As shown in the episodes ‘A Lying Witch and a Warden’ and ‘Evillustrator’ respectively, both Luz and Adrien are pretty eccentric and silly at times.

Another similarity between Luz and Adrien is that they’re both very kind-hearted. 3 examples of Luz’s kind-heartedness were each shown in ‘Covention’ where she was hesitant to cheat in her duel with Amity and later comforted Amity, in ‘Through The Looking Glass Graveyard’ where she comforted Gus about his abilities and handed him Glyph spells to help him out and in ‘A Lying Witch and a Warden’ where she helped free prisoners and encouraged them to be who they are. 3 examples of Adrien’s kind-heartedness were each shown in ‘Frozer’ where he helped an ice skating coach save an ice rink, in ‘Catalyst (Heroes Day - Part 1)’ where he protected Marinette from incoming Akumas and in ‘Onichan’ where he skipped out on his usual “pound it” with Ladybug to help Kagami. However, for both Luz and Adrien, their kind-hearted was is as much their weakness as it is their strength. For Luz, 3 examples of this were each shown in ‘Sepate Tides’ where she joined in on a bounty hunt for what looked like a dangerous creature to help Eda make money since Luz thought she was being a burden, in ‘Escaping Expulsion’ where she put her life at risk while helping Amity’s parents sell their Abominations in order to get her friends Willow and Gus back into school and in ‘King’s Tide’ where she tried to keep the portal to the Human World together in order to help her friends escape and on top of that, was about to willingly stay behind in the Boiling Isles to help Eda even though the Boiling Isles was in the midst of being taken over by The Collector. For Adrien, 3 examples of this were each shown in ‘Volpina’ where he tried to reason with Volpina even though she lied to him earlier about being a descendant of a superhero and was being pretty pushy with him even before getting akumatized, in ‘Chameleon’ where he stopped Marinette from exposing Lila’s lies because he thought she was someone who was hurting on the inside and in ‘Rocketear’ where he tried to get through to Nino by throwing away his staff and pretty much surrendering. The difference between them here though is that Luz’s kind-heartedness is just as much her weakness as it is her strength because she has too much of a sense of responsibility while Adrien’s kind-heartedness is just as much his weakness as it is his strength because of his naivety. For example, Luz’s belief that she was a burden to Eda caused her to believe it was her responsibility to help her make due even if it meant going on a dangerous bounty hunt and Adrien’s naivety made him fail to understand that if Lila is ever gonna be a better person, she at least had to be called out for her bad actions (granted, in Lila’s case, even that didn’t work but you get my point).

The final similarity between Luz and Adrien is that they both lost one of their parents as stated in ‘Reaching Out’ and ‘Miraculous Secrets - Adrien’s Double Life’. The difference between them here though is whether or not their families were able to handle the loss. As revealed in ‘Reaching Out’, Luz and her mother Camila Noceda were able to cope with their loss by sending him flowers every year to remember him. Adrien and his father, on the other hand, were sent into disarray and started having a very strained relationship as a result of their loss and Adrien’s father became a supervillain called Hawkmoth in order to try to bring her back as revealed in ‘Style Queen’.

Well, these are the similarities and differences I see between Luz Noceda and Adrien Agreste.

like once you look at it kagami has plenty of episodes focusing on her inner turmoils - onichan, ikari gozen, heart hunter, lies, perfection, protection, and even emotion and pretension to an extent! while all of felix's episodes before emotion only give us small glimpses of what he's like, and the rest is just him showing off his intellectual and physical skills for the sole goal of getting his hands on the peacock miraculous.

we're overestimating how much "better" felix was back then when really the only thing that changed is that the mystery around him has been solved, and he was only able to show his emotions last minute. and none of it is his fault, i love GA risk and strike back with all my heart but there's no denying the real issue is neglecting to give him more episodes than he actually got. everything about S5 is really rushed as a result of deciding to execute all the big plot points at the very end and it was detrimental to not just him, but the entire cast. think about how chloe fans feel after the ending of revolution

Imagine thinking Kagami and Adrien and Marinette and Luka were healthy couples

Okay, yeah, fair to an extent-when Adrien tries to act like himself Kagami tells him that isn't 'natural' and their secret identities cause conflict between them and their respective girlfriend and boyfriend.

The show pushes that they aren't meant to be together

(Which a part of me who loves Adrigami will always find bullshit-They Can Work Through It People)

But they're not as bad as Marinette and Adrien are with eachother. Marinette is interested in Luka, so they get together. Kagami is interested in Adrien, so they get together. They're incompatible and so break it off.

You're right; it's not very healthy-Kagami has an image of Adrien in her head, and doesn't like it when he goes against it, Luka is frustrated by Marinette and how she seems to be hiding something from him. Neither of these are healthy.

But they are at least respectful. Luka lets Marinette cry on his shoulder when she sees Adrien and Kagami together.There is jealousy in Onichan I think it's called? but afterwards she's moved on and even encourages Marinette on her crush with Adrien.

In that same episode Marinette follows Adrien home and climbs the wall to spy on him.

And I get what they're going with here; funny dumb crush stuff. Like reading a book your crush likes so you can talk about it, or hanging around where your crush leaves their club so you can talk to them. But they're taking it a bit far, and the end result leaves a lot of people very uncomfortable

Is this talking about the bicycle thing in “Oni-Chan”?

Because lol, except Marinette forgets to adjust the seat so she tries to get on and she’s clearly not built for it. She nearly falls over until Luka catches her, leading Marinette to apologize profusely for almost damaging his bike (Luka assures her that it falling over wouldn’t have done anything serious).

She spends so long rambling about it that she completely forgets about Adrien and Lila.

I was so excited for Desperada bc of my Mexican heritage and when i saw she was shoved aside to be an akumatized person jealous for Jagged Stone (really jagged?) It became one of the episodes I hate the most. I was really hoping for the show to delve into Mexican culture
