Honestly, I think that Haley Long from the American Dragon Jake Long TV series, Janna from the Star VS The Forces Of Evil TV series, Luz Noceda and Amity Blight from The Owl House TV series and Cedric The Sensational from the Sofia The First TV series would interact quite well with one of @boingodigitalart’s dream teams which consists of Webby Vanderquack, Lena Sabrewing and Violet Sabrewing from the DuckTales (2017) TV series and Morgana Macawber from the Darkwing Duck (1991) TV series who all are enthusiastic about magic.
After all, as shown in the episode ‘Switcheroo’, Haley is a shapeshifting dragon who is quite the rule follower and does quite well in school and, as shown in the episode ‘Family Business’, she did pretty good in her dragon training. So, I think that Haley would help Webby, Lena, Violet and Morgana study every written record they could about how magic works and would also get along quite well with Webby in particular considering that Webby also loved learning and also did pretty good in her own training as a fighter as shown in the episode ‘From The Confidential Casefiles Of Agent 22!’, where Webby learned quite well from records about Scrooge McDuck’s adventures and was quite a big help to Scrooge when it came to helping him fight his way through all the obstacles in their path and fending off Black Heron. So, I think that Haley and Webby would like to spar with each other and help improve each other’s fighting skills. And, given that, as shown in the episode ‘The Doppelganger Gang’, the dragons from the American Dragon Jake Long universe have the ability to make copies of themselves as well as, as shown throughout the American Dragon Jake Long TV series, the ability to fly and breath fire, I also think that Webby would like to help Haley use those dragon abilities to the utmost efficiency in a fight. Also, given that, as shown in the episode ‘Escape From The ImpossiBin!’, Webby was able to use German paper cutting to trick Huey and Dewey by making a paper cut out of her silhouette look like her shadow and that, as I pointed out earlier, Haley did pretty well in school, I think that Webby can teach Haley to use skills like German paper cutting to confuse her opponents. And given that, as I pointed out earlier, Haley was quite a rule follower who prefers following school rules and that, as shown in the episode ‘Escape To/From Atlantas!’ Webby was also, at least usually, quite a rule follower who wasn’t quite used to going against her grandma Beakley’s wishes, I think that’s another reason Haley and Webby would get along quite well since they both usually prefer following the rules.
As shown in the episode ‘Bon Bon The Birthday Clown’, Janna is quite an enthusiast when it comes to the concept of magic. So, I think that Janna would really like to learn a thing or 2 from Morgana since, as shown in the episode ‘Fungus Amongus’, Morgana is a skilled sorceress. Also, given that, as shown in the episode ‘Rest In Pudding’, Janna also seems to have a collection of magic-related trinkets, I think that she would really want to see any real magical artifacts that Webby, Lena, Violet and Morgana find. As a side note, I think that Webby, Lena, Violet and Morgana would be quite fascinated if they were to see that when the version of Janna from the Janna VS The Forces Of Darkness fanfic had Marco Diaz use a book scanner on the Butterfly family’s Magic Book Of Spells to get its contents on phone, its contents were somehow transferred to her phone instead of copied to it. And given that Violet, as shown in the episode ‘Friendship Hates Magic!’, is quite book smart and is also smart when it comes to magic, I think that she might be able to figure out why that happened. And I think that Violet would take into account the fact that, as shown in the @therussohousehold’s Janna VS The Forces Of Darkness fanfic which was inspired by @skleero’s Janna Vs. The Forces Of Evil AU, the Magic Book Of Spells apparently counted being scanned by an overhead book scanner as being read thus temporarily bringing its spells to life and that would probably make sense to Violet since, given how book smart she is, she would probably know that an overhead book scanner’s camera (and cameras in general too for that matter) operates similarly to a person’s eyesight since both involve taking light that bounces off of the objects they’re viewing and converting it into something electrical. And I think that Violet would theorize and take into account that the Magic Book Of Spells probably creates some sort of magical link between itself and its owner given that, as shown in the episode ‘Book Be Gone’, the Magic Book Of Spells seems to recognize the person who reads it as its owner and prevents anyone who doesn’t own it from writing in it. And Violet would also realize that a book scanner would technically fit neither category since it’s just a device and thus doesn’t count as a person at all and that the book scanner would be taking light that’s bouncing off the Magic Book Of Spells. So, based on all this, I think that one theory Violet might come up with is that, if some of the book’s magic had piggybacked on the light bouncing off the book, then that probably created a magical link between the book and the light bouncing off it. And, based on that, Violet might conclude that when the book scanner’s camera took that light and converted it into electrical data, it converted the Magic Book Of Spells’ contents along with it and that it didn’t also happen with a person’s eyesight because it adapted to their consciousness since the book recognizes its owner but a book scanner has no consciousness to adapt to. Violet might also come up with another theory by picturing the Magic Book Of Spells as a dot labeled Point A and anyone (or anything) who reads it as a dot labeled Point B with the magical link that the Magic Book Of Spells makes with its owner being the line between the 2 dots. In the case of the Magic Book Of Spells and the person who owns it, Point A and Point B are indeed connected together by the line. In the case of the Magic Book Of Spells and the person who doesn’t own it, there’s no line between Point A and Point B to connect them. And in the case of the Magic Book Of Spells and a book scanner that doesn’t count as a person at all, the book’s magic got confused and thus did something in between by making a line that was connected to Point A but, instead of also being connected to Point B, the line pointed at it and led Point A towards it like an arrow just like how the Magic Book Of Spells’ contents were led into the book scanner and then into Janna’s phone.
As for Luz Noceda and Amity Blight, I think that Luz and Amity would get along quite well with Webby and Lena respectively in particular. In the case of Luz and Webby, I think that they would get along quite well because, as I pointed out in my Compare/Contrast of Webby Vanderquack and Lena Sabrewing And Luz Noceda and Amity Blight post, both of them are quite optimistic as shown in the episode ‘Witches Before Wizards’ where she was quite optimistic when it came to being a witch’s apprentice and learning magic and, as shown in the episode ‘Daytrip Of Doom!’ where Webby was quite about going on an outing with Huey, Dewey and Louie. And, in the case of Lena and Amity, I think that they would get along quite along quite well because, as I also pointed out in my Compare/Contrast of Webby Vanderquack and Lena Sabrewing And Luz Noceda and Amity Blight post, they’re practically kindred spirits since they both had abusive parental figures who tried to kill their loved ones as shown in the episode ‘The Shadow War Part 2: The Day Of The Ducks!’ where Lena’s aunt Magica used Lena and tried to kill Webby who Lena formed a very close bond with and as shown in the episode ‘Escaping Expulsion’ where Amity’s mother tried to stop Amity from forming attachments with Luz, Willow and Gus and also almost got Luz killed in an Abomination demonstration. And I think that Luz and Amity would be very enthusiastic about helping Webby, Lena, Violet and Morgana learn more about magic. And speaking of learning more about magic, I think that Webby, Lena, Violet and Morgana would be quite fascinated by Luz’s Glyph magic which, as shown in the episode ‘The Intruder’, is about drawing magical symbols that symbolize certain elements and bringing those elements to life when the symbol is tapped and also quite fascinated by Amity’s witch magic which, as stated in the episode ‘The Intruder’ works because of the witches’ somewhat unique anatomy. And I think that Lena might get creative and see if there’s a way to combine Glyph magic with witch magic since, as shown in the episode ‘The Beagle Boy Breakout!’, Lena tends to think outside the box. And they would probably also be fascinated by how the Glyphs, as shown in the episode ‘Escaping Expulsion’, can be combined to create certain spells.
As for Cedric The Sensational, I think that he would get along surprisingly well with Morgana since, as shown in the episode ‘Cedric’s Apprentice’, Cedric formed a bond with Princess Sofia despite wanting to steal her magic amulet at first and, as shown in the episode ‘Fungus Amongus’, Morgana formed a romantic attachment to Darkwing Duck. So, both Cedric and Morgana grew attached to their enemy in some way. And I think that Cedric might also help boost Lena’s morale with her magic when she’s having trouble with it since, as shown in the episode ‘Substitute Cedric’, Cedric was able to boost an entire class’s morale with their magic training during his Never Forget The Sorcerer’s Secret musical number by telling them to never give up. Lena would probably take Cedric’s advice since, as shown in the episode ‘Nightmare On Killmotor Hill!’, she was able to stand up against Magica De Spell by persevering through her nightmares with the help of her loved ones and not giving up. But Lena would probably also find it strange that Cedric would use a musical number to convey the lesson. Also, I think that Webby, Lena, Violet and Morgana would like to theorize about the Amulet Of Avalor given what Cedric found out about it in the episode ‘Hexley Hall’ which was that the Amulet Of Avalor’s powers change depending on who is trapped inside it.

It occurred to me that Bradford Buzzard, Zan Owlson and Donald Duck all have one thing in common. They all hated adventuring and believed it was too dangerous. The difference between the 3 of them is how they chose to express that and handle it. Bradford chose to follow the path of the dark side and destroy anyone who loves adventuring by, as shown in the episode ‘The First Adventure!’, starting an evil organization known as FOWL in order to do just that even though he refused to admit it. Zan Owlson chose to follow the path of the light side and wanted to improve as many peoples’ lives as possible through normal means by, as shown in the episode ‘The Ballad Of Duke Baloney!’, helping people through charities and putting people above profit but she is, as shown in the episode ‘Let’s Get Dangerous! Part 2: A Case Of Mistaken Reality!’, also willing to accept from adventurous people like Darkwing Duck when there doesn’t seem to be any other options left. And Donald Duck wanted to follow his own path and settle down from it all by, as shown in the episode ‘Woo-oo!’, trying to live a normal life to support his nephews but, as shown in the episode ‘What Ever Happened To Donald Duck?!’, is willing to go on an adventure himself if that’s what it takes to help his family.

Honestly, I think it would be fitting if pairs like Webby and Lena, Drake and Launchpad and Della and Penumbra were to sit together while watching the solar eclipse. After all, all 3 of these pairs have some history with the concept of darkness in some way. As shown in the episode ‘The Shadow War Part 1: The Night Of De Spell!’, Lena was a living shadow who was under Magica De Spell’s control before, as shown in the episode ‘The Shadow War Part 2: The Day Of The Ducks!’, she was saved from Magica by the light of her bond with Webby. As shown in the episode ‘Let’s Get Dangerous! Part 1: The St. Canardian Guardian!’, Drake prided himself on being “the terror that flaps through the night” as Darkwing Duck while Launchpad worked with him as his partner. And, as shown in the episode ‘What Ever Happened To Della Duck?!’, Della was stranded on the Moon and Penumbra lived on it and the Moon orbits Earth in the darkness of space.

I’ve been thinking about what might happen if the DuckTales (2017) versions of Scrooge McDuck and Goldie O’Gilt and the DuckTales (1987) versions of Scrooge McDuck and Goldie O’Gilt went on a double date. Honestly, I think that the 2 versions of Goldie would hold a contest on who could con their version of Scrooge better. But I also wonder what do you all think might happen if they went on a double date?

I’m betting that if Kevin McCallister from the Home Alone movie were to exchange some ideas about setting traps with the likes of Goldie, Webby, Gosalyn, May, June and Louie, all kinds of absolute chaos would ensue. After all, I heard that Kevin’s traps are a lot more lethal in a realistic sense. And combine that with Goldie having over a century of experience and skills as a thief, Webby being trained as a spy, the fact that Gosalyn was able to break into a building, May’s and June’s own fighting skills and, as @w3ndytheraccoon recommended I include, Louie’s schemes, then you would get quite an insane combination that would make the likes of, say, Harry and Marv have extremely terrifying nightmares that will haunt their dreams for the rest of their lifetimes.

Honestly, I think that Marlin from the Finding Nemo movie has some surprising similarities and differences with both Della Duck and Donald Duck from the DuckTales (2017) TV series. Marlin, as shown in the Finding Nemo movie, really wanted to reunite with his son Nemo after they got separated just like how Della, as shown in the episode ‘What Ever Happened To Della Duck?!’, really wanted to reunite with her sons Huey, Dewey and Louie. The difference between them there is that Marlin was, as also shown in the Finding Nemo movie, trying to return his son home and Della, as also shown in the episode ‘What Ever Happened To Della Duck?!’, was trying to return home to her sons. Another similarity between them is that both Marlin and Della met and formed a strong bond with someone during their journeys to reunite with their son(s). For Marlin, there was Dory as also shown in the Finding Nemo movie and, for Della, there was Penumbra as also shown in the episode ‘What Ever Happened To Della Duck?!’. The difference between them there is how Dory and Penumbra act. As shown in the Finding Nemo movie, Dory was quite easygoing before she learned to be slightly more firm while she was trying to get some information out of a crab to help Marlin and Nemo reunite whereas Penumbra, as shown in the episode ‘The Golden Spear!’, was quite grim and battle-hardened before she, as shown in the episode ‘They Put A Moonlander On The Earth!’, learned to be more easygoing after saving Webby and Dewey and having fun on Earth. As for Marlin and Donald, one similarity they have is that they both tried very hard to take care of their families after the loss of one of their loved ones. As shown in the Finding Nemo movie, Marlin tried very hard to take care of his son Nemo after his wife Coral died and, as shown in the episode ‘Woo-oo!’, Donald tried very hard to take care of his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie after, as shown in the episode ‘The Last Crash Of The Sunchaser!’, his sister Della was lost in space. Another similarity between them is that they both grew to dislike adventuring before having to go on an adventure themselves to save their families. As also shown in the Finding Nemo movie, Marlin grew very paranoid of anything dangerous, especially to his son after the death of his wife before he went on an adventure to save his son where he went through a shark, an angler fish and a swarm of jellyfish and, as shown in the episode ‘Woo-oo!’, Donald quit adventuring after the death of his sister to take care of his nephews before he, as shown in the episode ‘The House Of The Lucky Gander!’, was on an adventure to save his family where he had to go through a deadly obstacle course to save his family from a Luck Vampire. The difference between them there is whether or not they adventured before in the first place. As also shown in the Finding Nemo movie, Marlin’s quest to find his son was his first adventure whereas, as shown in the episode ‘The First Adventure!’, Donald had been adventuring since he was a kid.

As shown in the episode ‘The House Of The Lucky Gander!’, The Golden Cricket’s song did nothing but bore Scrooge and his family half to death despite the fact that, as Scrooge mentioned earlier that episode, the song is said to hold the answer to life’s greatest mysteries like “How did we get here?” and “What’s our purpose in the universe?”. I could be reading way, way too much into this but I think the reason for that is because the universe has no answer to these mysteries but rather questions. What I mean by that is that the universe asks us how we got here, what our purpose is, etc. and we give the universe our answer to its questions, not the other way around. For example, the universe asked Donald Duck what his purpose is even if he’s going against seemingly insurmountable odds and he answered it is to persevere and protect his family by persevering through the Luck Vampire’s deadly obstacle course to prevent his family from being trapped in his resort forever. And the universe asked Gladstone Gander where he would go if presented with immense good luck and he answered that he’s going to make his life as leisurely as possible by using his luck to do just that.

Honestly, I think that Quack Pack versions of Lena and Violet would come over and play role-playing games about magic and adventure like the Dungeons And Dragons board game with Webby. After all, the Quack Pack world was created because of Donald Duck’s wish to just deal with normal family problems. And a normal version of Webby, Lena and Violet’s magic-related adventures would probably be playing a game that’s about magic and adventure. Also, they each would probably have a different story they would like to create and tell as DM. Webby would probably like to create and tell a story about action and forming bonds as comrades. Lena would probably like to create and tell a story about getting past an army of villains in order to reunite with a group of friends. And Violet would probably like to create and tell a story about the cosmos’ deepest and most magical secrets.

After checking out some of @shychick-52’s Tumblr content and seeing that she’s a fan of both Gyro Gearloose from the DuckTales (2017) TV series and Cedric The Sensational from the Sofia The First TV series, I started thinking about Gyro and Cedric and came to realize that those 2 actually have quite a bit in common. Both of them had trouble in their line of work. Gyro was having trouble keeping his robot inventions from turning evil. And Cedric was having trouble getting his spells to work properly. Both of them had conflict with a child who they went on to form a great bond with. Gyro didn’t trust BOYD at first after he turned evil but then grew to love him after he learned that BOYD turned evil in the first place because his old mentor reprogrammed and brainwashed him. And Cedric wanted to steal Sofia’s amulet and use its magical powers to take over Enchancia but then gave up on that after he and Sofia formed a strong bond to the point that Cedric helped Sofia defeat Grimtrix. Both of them had a mentor in their lives who turned out to be evil. In Gyro’s case, there was his former mentor, Doctor Akita, who wanted to use BOYD to wreak havoc. And, in Cedric’s case, there was Grimtrix, the former headmaster of a school Cedric used to be a student at called Hexley Hall, who formed an evil group of magic users called the Order Of The Wand to try to take over all of the kingdoms. The irony of all this is that Gyro is a scientist whereas Cedric is a sorcerer. So, their lines of work contrast each other but their lives and backstories are incredibly similar.

I’ve been thinking about what Negaverse versions of Scrooge, Goldie and Louie might be like. Given that Regular Scrooge acts very greedy but cares about other people like his family deep down, I think that a Nega-Scrooge might act very generous but is rotten to the core deep down. Most of this next bit about how a Nega-Goldie would act wasn’t really my idea. In @boingodigitalart’s Nega-Goldie fanart, it seems that Nega-Goldie is quite passive and submissive which makes sense considering that Regular Goldie is quite bold and doesn’t answer to anyone. And I think that a Nega-Goldie is would have a really hard time telling a lie since Regular Goldie is quite deceptive. And, given that Regular Louie is also quite greedy and wants to be rich, I think that a Nega-Louie might be quite generous and would want to give away as much stuff as possible to other people. Also, given that Regular Scrooge and Regular Goldie constantly fight but love each other deep down, Nega-Scrooge and Nega-Goldie might seem like they get along just fine but there’s actually a large amount of tension building up between them deep down. Given that Regular Goldie had to briefly give up on her deceptive ways to save Regular Louie, Nega-Goldie probably had to give up on her all-too-honest ways to save Nega-Louie by telling a lie that got Nega-Louie out of a tight spot. And, given that Regular Louie came to Regular Goldie to learn from her about conning others and making money, Nega-Louie probably came to Nega-Goldie to get her help to sell stuff and give them away.

Honestly, I think that April, May and June from The Legend Of The Three Caballeros TV series would really like to receive some training from their counterparts from the DuckTales (2017) TV series. After all, April, May and June seemed quite enthusiastic when it came to acting like spies while they were infiltrating Baron Von Sheldgoose’s mansion. And their counterparts know quite a lot about fighting and infiltration.
