Emory in LIW is so funny because despite being a cat and having been a cat for a very long time already, he still dislikes animals and has a very low tolerance for them. He's called Clover (Rowan’s dog) a "vile cur" more than once for simply doing regular dog things lmao so I don't think he'd enjoy being in Wonderland all that much. He'd probably be seen with Phineas the most due to...various different reasons but they all have to do with Emory making sure that idiot stays alive.

He also knows the original story of aiw (like. the book version) so every time he && Phineas met a character before the get their role/title he's just like "thats a surprise tool we'll use for later". Phineas is so confused by his antics but like who isn't confused by Emory? This also means he knows he's supposed to be the Cheshire Cat, and naturally hates it. He doesn't want to be a character in a Tale! Let him out!! This is partly why "Cheshire" is a role/why he gives the role to Vincent later on. Well that and he has things to do lol.

OH and since I'm here, I have changed how Phineas' first time in Wonderland goes, just a little. Moreso to account for the fact that Emory is there now. Basically, Emory leads Phineas to RoseWood Manor, because that haunted ass mansion exists everywhere. It really is more of Emory’s house than Richard Irvine's (Emory’s former boss & RoseWood's original owner) at this point tbh, yet he claims he's just looking after it for now. Still, Phineas quickly becomes the new owner/RoseWood's owner in Wonderland and the mansion shifts accordingly.
