I kinda feel like there’s no point being on tumblr anymore. I don’t mean it in a emo, exaggerating way. I just… I’m rarely active any more and even when I am/try to be… I get almost nothing. I’m not blaming anyone for this, by any means. I know real life comes first for everyone and I’ll never blame anyone for that. EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS : I Oh boy quite a while.. I think we just hit around the 5 month mark for my time in the Tumblr rp community! In terms of roleplay in general it's more like 10 years.

BEST EXPERIENCE : Overall just meeting the Tumblr besties @jardinae and @serpentsexile. Ily both, and you guys really did change my life for the better. I loved all the discord events. All the stupid dash commentary. The unhinged stuff that happens in and out of the servers. Though, I do severely apologise that it meant dealing with the likes of Specs, emo and the other blonde bitch. I wake up every morning eagerly waiting to know what we get up to next and what stupid shit we'll do. Love you guys <3.

RP PET PEEVE : I have a few different ones but my main 2 are probably having your entire character revolve around shipping and also having a stupidly powerful character and then just. Not elaborating at all. I've been in groups where the entire theme is MURDER and HORROR and yet they spend the whole time making out and ignoring any plot hooks. I've also seen characters who can apparently take on gods or have ridiculous powers but that whole backstory is ignored, never used or has no depth to it. Like if they're an all powerful god, what does their role involve? What are their worshippers like? What's their influence in the world? There's no point having an OP character if all you use them for is to flirt around or just have an excuse to counter everything against them so they never show weakness.

PLOTS OR MEMES : I Memes are easier for me to answer quickly, but I'm a huge sucker for plots. Even if we never get around to writing them properly, I love throwing around ideas or blabbing on about stupid scenarios or AUs or relationships AAA. Sometimes I'll spend more time talking about a reply than I will actually replying BYE

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : Long replies! Short are fine for memes but I feel like they can go nowhere at times. I like adding detail since it's more fun for me and I feel like it just makes things flow on a lot nicer.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES : Oh To a small extent. I have a few similair interests to Specs and Jack, but personality wise they're different. Especially Specs. Extroverts lowkey scare me so the only time I come off that fucking crazy is online OIUHEUH. Hee's someone I'd like to be friends with though. Opposites attract kind of situation.

For the most part, a lot of my ocs kind of spring from personal experiences though. Jack was a way to kind of process my own situation. At times Specs is a bit of a vent character, but also just kind of a comfort character to help me through it. Alistair is a stand in for people I despise and sort of acts like a punching bag (though I haven't written him in ages for personal reasons lol) and characters like Lust, Dorian and William are kind of based around me as a person. All in all, I love most of my muses and oc (through they are on thin ice lol). If they were real I'd like to get to meet some of them one day.

 FLUFF:  fluff fills that sad empty space in my soul! hurt without comfort gets old fast and sometimes you just need you & your characters to feel good! I can't do all fluff all the time though, I don't find it terribly compelling. I thrive on writing conflict. fluff is like tasty dessert after the difficult stuff. 

 ANGST:  there is a reason I am drawn to inherently angsty characters sldkfjd I live for angst!! I am an emo kid what can I say. tragedy is my favorite genre. that said, I am ultimately a slut for angst with a happy ending, or at least with catharsis. pointless hardship ad nauseam can get exhausting.  

 SMUT:  I don't tend to write straight up smut cause I find it can get boring fast; there's only so many ways you can describe it all before it gets repetitive. I do love to explore everything around it, though; I especially love exploring tension & finding the moments where characters finally break it.

↳ I have two large anime/manga character tattoos! One of Dabi from BNHA and one of Vanitas from The Case Study of Vanitas. I also have a list of other characters I'd like to add some day. Like Phos from HNK and Akutagawa (or maybe Sigma or Nikolai) from BSD.

↳ I am obsessed with snakes! Corn snakes in particular. I spend a lot of free time researching snake behavior, husbandry, and breeding (not that I plan to ever breed mine). I love to talk about them and I take the care of my own snakes very personally. I have two corn snakes right now.

↳ I can name like 98% of all songs by The Decemberists when provided with a one second clip.

PLATFORMS USED - For RP currently? Just here, but I would also do discord. I did it originally on DeviantArt back when they had chatrooms.

PLOTTING / WINGING IT / MEMES - All of it. If it's up to me I usually like to send a few memes or starters to begin with and then do some plotting when we get a feel for things between our muses!!

— MUSE PREFERENCE.

GENDER - I don't particularly have a preference. I do tend to make more female OC's due to the fact that I had an RP partner for years when I first started who would NOT allow me to write anything other than cisgender, white, gay men. I feel like I'm making up for lost time by enjoying writing women.

MULTI OR SINGLE - In my experience, I prefer to run single muse blogs as mine usually get more attention than my multi's. But I actually really enjoy making, organizing, and running multi muse blogs. I love so many of my OC's it ends up feeling like less pressure than always switching.

LEAST FAVOURITE FACECLAIM(S) - Out of all my active blogs?? Shie's, but I have issues with Blue's too. I adore Phos HNK but he is not human which makes some of his icons funny looking jfdlksj. Glitter in his hair, no teeth, goop for arms. But there's only so many faceclaims I can pick from with a bowl cut, and the bowl cut is INTEGRAL.

— FLUFF / ANGST / SMUT.

FLUFF - I enjoy it when there's plot behind it, like a well built ship I'm very fond of. If that's the case I can't get enough. Otherwise, I find it kinda boring.

ANGST - My very favorite thing to write and read. All I do is come up with angst. I got my start in RP in my edgy emo teen years and that never left me. Give me ANGST give me PAIN give me EDGE. It adds such flavor. Nothing bonds muses like angst.

SMUT - I love to talk about smut or write little suggestive drabbles. When it comes to things I read in my free time, its smut 99% of the time. I have a filthy mind unfortunately. On the other hand I am abysmal at actually writing anything sexy so, it's very rare I ever actually write it out fully.

🧥 - to warm your muse by wrapping them in a coat / blanket . Captain Way wrapping Yancy in their coat.

Even though Yancy had spent a large portion of his life in prison, he still was able to enjoy plenty of time outside to enjoy the weather. It never occurred to him that he would need to adjust to something like that once he was out on parole.

Yet here he was now, enjoying a nice walk through the park with Way. The sun had been out on this beautiful day, so Yancy didn’t think he would need to bring his jacket. However, the slightly chilly breeze that would pick up here and there reminded him that a simple t-shirt wasn’t cutting it today.

Rubbing one of his arms, movement catches the corner of his eye and he glances over at his companion. Way was shrugging out of their coat, and it’s not until they are holding it by the shoulders that Yancy realizes what they are doing.

“Aw, Way c’mon you don’t gotta do-“

He’s ignored as the Captain drapes it over his shoulders, almost needing to raise up on tips toes to do so. It’s warm, and the fact that it’s a trench coat allows it to lay across his broad shoulders and down his arms since there was no way he could wear it normally.

Way always seemed to be prepared, and Yancy knew better than to voice any protest toward his old friend.

He gently pulls the coat around himself and smiles, his face flushing due to the warmth or perhaps something else.

“Thanks, Way…I appreciate youse.”
