Okay I’m very sorry I’m very new to this app haha. Anyway I’d love to see a fic about Xanthous and Emarelda’s friendship because they are adorable maybe they get together and have a sleepover or something!
Whoo!!! Loving this one. It's short, but it's fun, it's quirky, and it's my favorite besties!
Sleepover—Emeralda and Xanthous Best Friendship

Emeralda looked up as Xanthous walked into her room.
“Fire off. My things are flammable.” she said, then went back to what she was doing, which was working on making pearls. Emeralda may have been able to make and manipulate minerals, gems, and rocks, but pearls were not technically any of those. She liked to make them to help herself go to sleep.
Xanthous flopped onto her bed, flames extinguishing. “Ugh!” he complained, rolling over to stare at the ceiling with an annoyed look.
“Is something wrong?” Emeralda asked, turning away from her project and walking to the back of her cave-like room to grab an extra set of metal sheets for the fire-fairy.
“Nah, just feeling not great since the whole world ending thing.” he took the blanket and laid it over himself. “It just feels like it happened way to often.”
“Well, do you remember when we were kids?” Emeralda asks, sitting next to him on the bed, on her normal bed sheets. “every fucking year there was some more bullshit.”
“You should curse more. The human Royals would lose their shit.” Xanthous commented. Then he sighed, sitting up and pulling the blanket around himself. “And I mean, yeah, but that was three incidents, and they mostly just affected the magical community, not everyone.”
“Eh, you did commit a genocide. Well, not a genocide, but you killed a lot of people.” Emeralda joked to him, giggling.
“That wasn’t me.” Xanthous said, tossing a pillow at her. “Anyway, other then that, and the whole ‘Righteous Emperor trying to take over the world’ thing, it really only affected the Magical community. And most definintly not two different worlds.”
“Mm, yeah, fair. But face it, if ‘Emperor Gallant’ was alive, he would try and take over the Otherworld.” Emeralda said the name in a mocking tone, as he fucking deserved.
“Mmm. He would.” Xanthous laughed. “He probably would have done better then them to. I mean, I don’t support him, but he would have been effective about it.”
“Mmm… true. He would have been. Though, considering we’re about a billion times more powerful then we were when we were kids, we could stop him pretty quickly.” Emeralda said.
“Yeah.”
The two fairies continued to sit in silence, Xanthous quickly heating some water into hot chocolate, passing it over to Emeralda. His metal blanket was wrapped almost completely around him, his arms gently poking out and it rested, bunched up, on his shoulders.
Emeralda took a long sip of her hot chocolate and tapped her fingers against her dress, forming a plate of some type of gem underneath it. Her finger nails tapped against the crystal, making a gentle and ASMR-esque tapping sound.
“You ever think we go to far pretending we’re weaker then we are so no one forces us to help them?” Xanthous asked, taking a sip of his hot chocolate.
Emeralda looked over at him. “Huh? No.” She shrugged. “Literally no one asks me to help them ever. It’s so easy. I literally never have to save the world anymore.”
Xanthous shrugged slightly, and he sipped more of his hot chocolate. He shrugged off his blanket and pulled out a deck of cards.
Emeralda raised her eyebrows. She vanished her crystal and smiled, leaning forward.
“Play?” Xanthous asked.
“Play?” she asked with a laugh. “Nah, not right now.” Despite her words, Emeralda took the deck of cards out of his hands and started to expertly shuffle them with a flick of her wrists.
“You spend too much time with Lucy.” Xanthous said, still taking his cards and getting ready. “What are we betting?”
“Winner can ask the loser one request, no refusing, nothing explicit, nothing deadly.”
“M’kay.” Xanthous looked up. “Go.”

xanthous, froggy said you were overdramatic
Thank you for your interest in keeping me informed.
Onto the statement, it’s not surprising to me that he may think this way. Many people consider me “over-dramatic” due to my predilection for exuberant displays when it comes to massive gatherings or formal events. It is, however, something I have a tendency to do as a way to catch the attention of the audience. I may not agree with Mother Goose on many fronts, but there is one thing she is correct about. The audience loves a show, and I am more than happy to oblige. Though, Tangerina has more choice words on the issue. I was made to listen to accusations of hypocrisy in relation to the actions of his wife and her preference for dramatics as well. Though, I still wish them both the best, despite whatever reservations they may have in regards to me.
—Sincerely, Xanthous.

~Things I would do if I played Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame~
"No, last year, [Frollo] said 'someday.........maybe!'" is played for laughs.
Smiling but very confused during the end of Topsy Turvy, like "oh they like me now, ok, I'm still not really sure what changed in those few seconds-"
Like in a community theatre production I saw, I don't reject Phoebus' help following Quasimodo being attacked.
"Oh no, not me, gargoyle..." is played for laughs like in the Papermill production/boot.
For "But in winter...cold", I actually try to think of something to say before simply settling on "...cold"
I do the "oh I'm gonna fall!" trick more than once during "Top of the World"
Absolutely lovesick during "Heaven's Light"
Straight up BOLTING for the bells at the end of "Emeralda"
Quite confused at the start of "Flight Into Egypt", like "where did Saint Aphrodisius come from???"
My Quasi is the absolute WORST liar. It's a miracle Frollo believes him in the scene following "Flight Into Egypt"-
I do little jazz hands towards the statues when I tell Frollo I'm just talking to "....my friends!" after hiding Phoebus
Starts internally/not so subtly panicking when Frollo puts his lamp on the finger of the statue.
"It's a clue!....she gave me!" is played for laughs like in the Papermill production/boot.
Quasi says "I don't hear anything" (like in the aforementioned community theatre production I saw) rather than Phoebus; played for laughs.
I'm absolutely devastated during "In a Place of Miracles", almost crying.
Angriest "Made of Stone" ever XD
G note at the end of "Made of Stone"
Smiling during the "Made of Stone reprise" in the finale, like I'm saying to the statues "hell yeah let's do this!!"
Brief pause before I reply "Yes, your friend!" to Esmeralda. I'm sad that Esmeralda doesn't romantically like me but then it hits me that being her friend is still the greatest honor.
Barely containing anger when Frollo says he could've loved Esmeralda.
I whisper "yes I do" while the gargoyles whisper "yes you do"
I make it a bit more clear that Quasi killing Frollo was spur of the moment and in a blind rage, so when he says the "There lies all I have ever loved" line, and it works a bit better.
I give Phoebus a hug during the "Out There reprise" in the finale.
More of a directorial thing, but I keep the marks on my face, so I'm deformed along WITH the cast. I saw a comment on a video related to the musical (I forget what video tho-) where the acceptance of Quasimodo in the musical is less of "you're beautiful like us" like in the Disney movie and more of "we're ugly like you". I like that a lot more than what the show does. (everyone is deformed other than Quasimodo)
Either the townsfolk reveal they are deformed in their own ways like in the US productions or a crowd gathers around Quasi and young girl who is deaf like him signs "I love you" to him like in the community theatre production I saw.

Behold, my Mario princess OC: Princess Beryl of The Crystal Isles.
Bio under "Read More"
Full Name
Beryl Lee Meralda
Nicknames/Aliases
Princess Beryl of The Crystal Isles (Full title), Princess BerylGender
Female (She/Her)
Age
24
Birthday
May 19th (Taurus)
Species
Human
Family
King Peridot Meralda (Father)
Queen Morgan Meralda (Mother, Deceased)
Occupation
Monarch (Princess of The Crystal Isles)
Eye Color
Emerald Green
Hair Color
Auburn
Background
Born to Queen Morgan and King Peridot, Princess Beryl is the, well, princess of the Crystal Isles, a kingdom situated on an archipelago where gems are as common as leaves on trees, as well as the home of the Bixbites.
The kingdom, and the family, experienced years of prosperity and peace…until the unfortunate passing of the queen, her mother. This loss affected the princess and the king…but especially the king. He was wracked with grief, the touch of the grim reaper left a hole in his heart.
One day, the king had an idea; What if he could create a paradise for him and his daughter? A world that could bow to their whim, a world that would allow them and their people to move on from the pain of losing Emeralda and grow beyond the prosperity they had.
To do this would take drastic measures, starting with using The Onyx; a gem once buried away due to it's dark powers and corrupting influence. While it was able to make the dream come true, it wasn't long until it consumed his mind, filling it with the greediest and cruelest of ambitions.
One by one, Peridot went from kingdom to kingdom, using the Onyx to turn the denizens to stone when they failed to comply with his demands. Each kingdom another part of this "paradise". If he had his way, the Crystal Isles would be THE kingdom, the only kingdom.
While Beryl was hesitant to stop him out of fear, she eventually mustered up the courage to nip the plan right in the bud. She was able to do this with the help of Princess Peach, who she saved during Peridot's invasion of the Mushroom Kingdom.
The final scuffle ended with Peridot turning into stone himself. Peridot’s current state is in a secret room in the treasury. A stark reminder of what could happen if Beryl gets too ambitious, too greedy..
Personality
Beryl holds an air of politeness, compassion, generosity, and kindness. As any ruler should be, Beryl cares greatly for her people and those she's fond of, and will do whatever it takes to make sure they are safe and happy.
Beryl does tend to be quite the anxious sort, usually about how others view her and the wellbeing of her friends, her people, and her kingdom. Resulting in hesitation at best, and panic at worst. While she is not exactly shrinking violet, she can be considered quite sheepish, not to mention easily stressed and overwhelmed.
However, make no mistake, when the going gets tough, Beryl will bring out her stern and assertive side. She also have passion for creative expressions, mainly art and fashion.
Abilities
Beryl's abilities, outside of standard Mario powerups, all stem from her bracelet. The bracelet is able to harness the power of the Crystal Isle's most powerful gemstones, ones imbued with the elements. There are seven gemstones in her possession, each of them with a unique ability.
Emerald
Imbued with the essence of Emerald Valley's plant life. The Emerald allows its user to heal over time so long as the gem is activated and has enough Luster (power, once it runs out it has to go on cooldown. Sorta like the vibe meter from Super Princess Peach but slowly regenerating over time). It also has the power to reverse Peridot's Onyx magic, allowing Peach and Beryl to rescue Bixbites who's failed attempt to stop Peridot led them to turn to stone.
Topaz
Imbued with the essence of Topaz Trail's crisp autumn breeze. The Topaz allows its user to float slowly to the ground from a fall (Think like Alice's floating ability in Alice Madness Returns). It can be used over time so long as the gem is activated and has enough Luster.
Amethyst
Imbued with the essence of Amethyst's Grotto's paranormal energy. The Amethyst allows the user to "possess" (i.e control) enemies (think like Ghost Kirby from Squeak Squad). It can be used over time so long as the gem is activated and has enough Luster. It has no direct effect on bosses or those with "strong wills".
Pearl
Imbued with the essence of Garnet Lagoon's refreshing waves. The Pearl allows its user to create and manipulate water with their hands, which lets Peach and Beryl use said water as projectiles or use in puzzles. It consumes a bit of Luster each time it's used.
Sapphire
Imbued with the essence of Sapphire Snowpeak's frosty icicles. The Sapphire allow its user to create a shield to block enemy attacks or obstacles like falling icicles. It can be used over time so long as the gem is activated and has enough Luster. It is also ineffective when faced with fire attacks or obstacles.
Spinel
Imbued with the essence of Spinel Skyway's puffy clouds. The Spinel allows its user to gain an extra jump. It consumes a bit of Luster each time it's used.
Ruby
Imbued with the essence of Mount Rubyburn's searing fire. The Ruby allows its user to dash at high speeds with the force of a burning flame. It consumes a bit of Luster each time it's used.

The shadow elf adjusted the blue blanket, turned poncho, for the umpteenth time.
"It's the best I got, I'm sorry it's so itchy" the knight sighed putting her helmet in the bag. The warm air is cooling against her brow from the heat of the helmet.
"It not that," the shadow elf grunted in her thick accent and husky voice, "just not used to covering," the dark elf finally admitted as she adjusted her belt and sash around the poncho.
The knight paused in tying the armor bag closed. "You mean clothes? But I've met other dark elves that were wearing…." She trailed off as the dark elf waved her hand.
"I from wild land beyond" the shadow pointed to the mountain Lúg Gamp or as known in common tongue, Dragon Claw. "Only ones among human and High Elf wear covers." She frowned and finally settled with her belt and bandelier in place over the poncho dress.
"If you knew that, how come you didn't have any clothes with you? You should have known you'd run into humans or high elfs." In the knight's opinion a high elf was worse than a highwayman but tried to keep it out of her voice.
"No human or high elf go where dark elf speak with Dragon Council." The shadow elf finally stood up.
She was tall and lean like most shadow elfs, though the poncho dress gave her a frumpy look, and while the knight was pleased with the result of the improvised dress the knight wished she didn't have to cover her new travel companion. The ashen skinned elf was easy on the eyes from her ruby red hair, dragon flared ears and piercing ruby eyes to her onyx finger and toe nails. The shadow elf would need boots but those would have to be bought either at a town or a traveling peddler, peddler seemed more likely.
The knight looked companion over by walking around her. "I suppose this will do, hopefully we can get you some more suitable clothes soon.
Where do dark elfs speak to the Dragon Council?"
"Aiwenor Sarn" the shadow elf answered "common tongue I think…."
"Sky Stone" the knight said "then it is good I met you. The Council of Mages has established a gate watch there and a rookerie has grown around the place." The dark elf looked mortified as the knight spoke and it crushed the knight's heart. "I'm sorry" the knight whispered, then continued "a few years ago the High Empire was destroying sites related to the Dragon Council, Sky Stone was the last site still standing or floating as it were. I'm heading there because that's my assignment, guard duty at Sky Stone gate."
“You’ll live there?” The dark elf asked, recovering from her mortification, oddly sounding hopeful to the knight.
“Yes, the mages arranged for me to have a house in the rookerie, after I see my superior I’ll be shown where it is, would you like to stay with me for a while?” The knight asked, sounding hopeful and surprising herself.
The shadow elf nodded, "I suppose should introduce self, I Naru."
"And I'm Emmy, I mean Emerelda" the knight bowed slightly "Naru, that's red?" Emerelda asked, her eyes flashing to Naru's hair.
"There other meaning but yes" Naru grinned, "but Emeralda?" Naru's ruby eyes flicked over the knight.
Emmy understood the question and smiled. Emmy had straight raven black hair from being under the helmet and soft blue green eyes "My grandmother was named Emeralda, and when I was born she said my eyes shone like hers." Emmy shrugged “they haven’t shone since, I think grammy just wanted me named after her.”
"Thank you, Emmy," Naru said, tasting the name. "Now I think we should find place to camp, we'll reach forest soon."
Emmy nodded in agreement.
Emmy at full height would look Naru square in the mouth. As her dark hair dried from the sweat and was ruffled by the wind, it became wavy. Emmy was broad shouldered with an ample bust to match and though she filled her armor she didn't spill out. Her armor was a leather halter with plate scale reinforcing her stomach and along the top of her bust, the design was to allow movement without sacrificing protection. At the moment The top of the bust and shoulders were exposed but in the bag with the helmet were shoulder plates and a collar that covered the gap. The gauntlet was fingerless with plates on the knuckles, back of the hand and up to the elbow on the sword arm, the shield arm had fingerless gloves with plates on the knuckles. She wore a leather and chainmail skirt half her thigh in length over knee length chaps that had plates on the outer thigh. Her leather boots were knee high with plate shin guards that extended above the knees. Most of the armor was brown leather or steel grey with touches of blue highlighting areas.
In the forest they set up camp in the branch of one of the larger trees at the forest edge. They didn't have a campfire as the night was warm and Emmy shared the dried meats and some cheeses with Naru.

The Legend of Hana Part 80
Warnings: More fluff/angst?
Rating: SFW
Tumblr media
Riku and Lily arrived in a city lined with rows of brick houses. They seemed to be in a backstreet somewhere; there wasn’t much light and the streets were paved with stone. A ways ahead, they saw a bright area that looked like a plaza. As soon as they started off toward the plaza, a man came running up to them.
“You there!” The golden-haired man was wearing armor, and had a neatly trimmed beard. “Have you seen a gypsy woman?”
“Nope,” Riku said.
“Sorry,” Lily said.
“All right. Thanks.” The man turned around and started back toward the plaza but Lily stopped him.
“Um, have you seen a girl named Hana and a boy named Era? They’re my siblings,” she asked.
“Do you know what they look like?” the man asked.
“Hana is my height and has blonde hair. Era is shorter and has the same style and color as mine.”
“Sorry, I haven’t seen them.”
“Oh. Thanks anyway.” The man gave a sympathetic smile and headed toward the plaza. From the looks of it, he was in trouble with and older man dressed in black and purple robes.
“I'm terribly sorry, sir. We've lost her,” the man in armor said as he bowed his head.
“Slippery vermin!” the man in the robes replied. He clenched his fist so hard that it was trembling with fury, then glowered at the younger man. “I'm beginning to question having summoned you back from the wars, Captain Phoebus.”
This Phoebus person just kept his head down until the man in the bobes began to walk away, then hurried out of sight after him. Riku and Lily didn’t know what was going on, but it couldn’t be anything good. Behind them, a woman with rich black hair and dark skin stepped out of hiding.
“Thank you. You stood up for me. I'm Esmeralda,” she said.
“Riku.”
“I’m Lily. Have you seen a girl named Hana and a boy named Era? They’re my siblings. Hana is my height and has blonde hair. Era is shorter and has the same style and color as mine.”
“No, I’m afraid not,” Esmeralda said. Lily sighed and looked down.
“And it's not like I know what a ‘gypsy’ is,” Riku replied honestly.
“Riku, be nice!” Lily scolded. “But yeah, I agree with him. Why are they chasing you?”
“Judge Frollo has been hunting us for years. We gypsies are guilty of nothing but loving our freedom, yet Frollo hates whatever he can't control. Now he's even brought in fresh blood to torment us,” Esmeralda sighed. “I'd hate to know what darkness drives that man.”
Riku and Lily frowned. So, this Judge Frollo guy used the darkness, and that same darkness drove him forward. Darkness was a part of everyone’s hearts, but an obsession was at once intriguing and disturbing.
“Tell us more. Was he always like this?” Riku said.
“I don't give Frollo much thought,” Esmeralda snapped, as if just saying his name left a bad taste in her mouth. She could see in Riku and Lily’s eyes that they had more questions, so she turned behind her, toward the large building in the square. “But if you'd like, you could try Notre Dame. They say it's a place for answers.”
“Got it. We’ll go there,” Lily said. She and Riku set off for the open square with the cathedral, where the sun was free to shine. Unlike the backstreets, the area was filled with several tents and lined with small, decorative flags. Maybe there was a festival going on? When they reached the middle of the plaza, they looked up at the cathedral. It was enormous, decorated with statues along the walls to guard it from evil. The two of them climbed the steps and peered inside through the big doors.
“Is anybody here?” Riku asked. In the very back of the chapel was a stained glass window, where a few rays of light were shining through. Other than that, the place was empty. Riku and Lily stepped into the chapel and started walking toward the back. Emeralda said that they might learn something by coming here, but they got the feeling that they might have been better off trying somewhere else. Just then--
“Who...who are you?” someone called out to them from behind. Riku and Lily turned around and saw a short man standing there, his gaze fixed on the ground.
“I’m Riku.”
“And I’m Lily.”
“Oh. M-my name's Quasimodo. I'm very sorry, but the Archdeacon is away.” With nothing more to say, Quasimodo turned away and started walking back into the cathedral. There was something awkward about his hunched gait.
“Actually, we’re looking for a man named Frollo,” Riku pressed.
“Do you know where he is?” Lily asked. Quasimodo looked back. He was far from handsome, in both his face and his build, but he didn’t appear to be a bad person.
“My master? He said he had business on the outskirts of the city,” he said.
“Do you mean you know him?” Riku asked.
“Oh, yes. He's...he's very kind. Master Frollo saved my life,” Quasimodo explained, looking at the statue in the back of the chapel. Maybe it represented a god to the people here. “He protects me from the outside world.”
“He ‘protects’ you from it?” Lily asked. Given the melancholy tone of Quasimodo’s voice, she and Riku doubted there was much protecting going on here at all.
“The people out there would be cruel to me. I'm a monster, you know,” Quasimodo said. He opened his hands and stared at them intently for a moment before covering his misshapen face.
“Is that what Frollo told you?” Riku asked. Quasimodo raised his head.
“Trust me, looks can be deceiving. A good friend sees you for who you are, no matter what face you wear,” Lily said. “You should go out there--find some friends who understand you.”
“Oh no...” Quasimodo turned away. “My master forbids it. I'm not to set foot outside.”
“Are you sure that's what's stopping you? Because I think something else is holding you back,” Riku said. Despite his and Lily’s continued suggestions, Quasimodo started to walk off, all but dismissing the idea.
“Ask your heart, Quasimodo,” Lily said and the man stopped.
“We'll check the edge of town. Thanks,” Riku said. And with that, he and Lily headed back toward the entrance.
                                                          ☽✧☽✧
Sora landed on a street paved with stone and lined with brick houses. This looked like a pretty big city. He was always excited to visit a new world for the first time. Across the way, Sora spotted an older man dressed in striking black and purple robes walking toward him. There was an unpleasant look in his eyes, and he scared Sora a little. It kind of reminded him of Hana a bit. Sensing that the man’s nasty glare was directed at him, Sora tensed up as they walked by each other.
“Stop,” the man called a moment later, bringing Sora to a halt.
“What? Who, me?” he asked.
“I've never seen you before. Your name?”
“I'm Sora,” he replied with a grin, his arms crossed behind his head as usual.
“Such disgusting attire,” the man sneered. “I know what you are. A gypsy.”
“Judge Frollo. Sir!” A golden-haired, bearded man in armor hurried over to them. He seemed like a decent guy, at least.
“What is the matter, Captain Phoebus?” the judge asked coldly. “Can't you see I am interrogating this gypsy?”
“This kid here? But sir, he's just a boy.” Sora wasn’t just any old boy, naturally, but it seemed like the best course of action here was to keep his mouth shut. Instead, he listened to their conversation. But he did ask about Hana and Era. But they didn’t know them or where they might be. So he went back to listening to their conversation.
“I shall be the judge of that. Now, Captain, did you have something to report to me or did you not?” Frollo said.
“Yes sir. Monsters--they've invaded the square!” Phoebus replied. At the word monsters, Sora reacted. They had to be Dream Eaters.
“Monsters? I'll take care of it!” he said as he summoned his Keyblade. He then ran into the square where Phoebus came from.
“Hey, wait! It's not safe!” Phoebus said and ran after him. Sora rushed into the square to find that he was right about the Dream Eaters. There was a single human, too, sitting astride one Dream Eater that looked like an elephant. The Zolephant. He was waving his arms around happily. There was also confetti in the air.
“What are you doing? You need to run!” Sora shouted a warning at the young man, who was far from handsome with his stooped back and his asymmetrical features.
“Oh no, I couldn't. Today's the festival. And look, I'm the King of Fools!” the man said. As Sora wondered, one of the Dream Eaters broke from the pack and flew off. Phoebus had just arrived and slashed at the creature’s back with his sword. Behind him, was Frollo, walking into the square.
“Quasimodo!” he barked at the young man sitting on the Zolephant.
“It's my master,” Quasimodo replied as he held his head fearfully. Suddenly, the eyes of the Zolephant underneath him flashed red, revealing its true, violent nature. It bucked the boy off its back and boxed him in with the help of the other Nightmares.
“No! Oh please, stop!” Quasimodo pleaded with the Dream Eaters, hoping to get them to listen, but they were already past that point. “Why doesn't anything ever go the way I want it to?”
Sora darted in between Quasimodo and the Dream Eaters, then looked behind him toward Quasimodo.
“Get to safety!” he shouted. But Quasimodo wouldn’t budge. Just then, a woman hurried over.
“Let me help,” she said. Sora looked at her and saw that she had voluminous black hair and determined eyebrows.
“Huh? Who are you?” Sora asked.
“Esmeralda. I'm a gypsy.”
“Thank you. I'm Sora.” Sora stood ready to face the Dream Eaters, while Esmeralda helped Quasimodo. Though he didn’t take her hand, he did hurry after her to the cathedral on the other side of the square. Meanwhile, the Dream Eaters were going crazy, and some of them had even climbed up the tents scattered along the square. Sora sprang into the air, spinning once around the a tentpole to gather momentum, and defeated all the Dream Eaters with his Keyblade.
“Piece of cake!” he said. He paused for breath and looked at the cathedral where Quasimodo and Esmeralda had fled. Sora had been to all kinds of worlds by this point, but he had not seen a huge stone tower like this one. It kind of reminded him of the clocktower that he saw when he went to visit Peter Pan’s world. Concerned for Quasimodo and Esmeralda, he ran up the stone steps to a pair of huge doors. He peered through the entryway into the cathedral, where the ray of light from outside pierced through the gloom of its solemn interior.
“Hey!” he called. There was no one inside. Sora stepped through the doors and walked all the way back to the huge chapel, but aside from a few Dream Eaters, there was no sign of Quasimodo or Esmeralda. He looked up and noticed a light that was coming from an opening in the spiral staircase leading up to the floor above. He climbed the stairs leading to the roof. The top of the structure offered a view of the city. This place was huge. When Sora looked down, he noticed something--a group of soldiers were peering into the building. He had a bad feeling about them.
“Where did those two go anyway?” he asked. He spotted a small door as he walked around the roof. It was the only one ajar; maybe that was where Quasimodo and Esmeralda were. He stepped inside to find a place that looked to be a garret among the wooden crossbeams of the frame. There were three stone statues, and above him, Quasimodo and Esmeralda were standing next to a large bell. This must be a bell tower.
“This is Big Marie,” Quasimodo said as he pointed out the huge bell to Esmeralda. It looked big enough to fit ten people inside.
“Hello-o-o!” Esmeralda said as she peeked in. As he voice echoed, the bell answered with a tiny, tinormous ring.
“She likes you,” Quasimodo replied warmly.
“Looks like Quasi's gonna be just fine,” Sora whispered, watching them talk together with peaceful smiles.
“Indisputably.”
“He's tough.”
“We may be hard as stone, but Quasi's stronger.” At the sound of voices behind him, Sora turned around.
“I know... WHOA! Talking gargoyles?” he yelped. He’d met all kinds of people by now, but never talking gargoyles. All the moving statues he knew attacked people--although there were talking teapots back there, too.
“Excuse us for havin' personality!” the smallest one, Laverne, retorted. Just then, Sora felt someone come up behind him. It was Esmeralda, watching the square uneasily from a window.
“...It looks like they’ve got the place surrounded,” she said. She must’ve spotted the soldiers Sora saw earlier.
“You could stay here forever,” Quasimodo offered.
“No, I couldn't.” Her response was firm.
“Oh, yes. You have sanctuary,” the boy said, somewhat confused.
“But not freedom. Gypsies don't do well inside stone walls,” she told him, starting to walk away.
“You helped me. Now, I will help you,” Quasimodo declared after a moment’s thought.
“But there's no way out. There's soldiers at every door.”
“We won't use a door,” Quasimodo said to Esmeralda, picking her up. “It's all right. Are you ready?”
A moment later, he jumped out of the window.
“Didn't expect that,” Sora said. Apparently, there was no need for him to take the stage here and he turned back to the gargoyles. “So how come you and Quasimodo are so close?”
One by one, they told him the story.
“We've been friends for years,” Laverne began in her elderly tone.
“More than a decade of camaraderie,” Victor, the tall, bluish gargoyle on the right added. He talked a little more confidently than the others.
“Breakfast, lunch, and dinner!” Hugo, the chubby green member of the trio said. All the gargoyles had horns on their heads.
“He never leaves?” Sora asked.
“Oh, he's not allowed to leave,” Laverne said. “Judge Frollo forbids it.”
That was a strange rule--really strange. Sora decided to ask the three statues.
“Why?”
“Care to pull up a stool?” Victor muttered.
“The short version is, Frollo thinks he's doing Quasi a favor by keeping folks from seeing that mug of his,” Hugo explained.
“After a lifetime of watching from the nosebleed seats, Quasi just wanted to go to the Feast of Fools,” Laverne said. “And we're so proud of him for finally working up the courage to do it.”
The three of them seemed kind of worried about Quasimodo’s welfare. No one would ever describe him as handsome, not even to be polite, but that was no reason to bar him from leaving this place.
“'Tis a shame those creatures dashed his hopes,” Victor Lamented.
“You should talk,” Hugo jeered. “When's the last time you looked in a mirror?”
“Well, you broke it!” Victor barked, rounding on Hugo.
“Oh, a wise guy, eh?”
“Knock it off! Ya couple of blockheads!” Laverne shut them down before Hugo could do any more taunting, then returned to the topic at hand. “I just hope this one failure doesn't cause Quasi to give up. He was so close.”
Quasimodo had finally broken free into the outside world; it would be awful if he let his heart become his new prison.
“Don't worry. I'll go talk to him!” Sora said, then turned away from the gargoyles and dashed out of the bell tower after Quasimodo.
                                                         ☽✧☽✧
Riku and Lily their way toward the edge of town, scattering the successive waves of creatures that appeared. Finally, they stepped through a large gate and found a long bridge just as an enormous shadow whipped by overhead. Riku and Lily looked up instinctively and swallowed.
“A Dream Eater,” Riku said.
“And a big one,” Lily added. There was a massive beast flying through the air. This Dream Eater, the Wargoyle, had a rainbow-colored body, large wings, and a menacing aura around it that reminded them of the Hockomonkey in Traverse Town. Once the Nightmare reached the middle of the bridge, it circled back around and opened its jaws wide.
“What?” Riku and Lily asked. The flames around its mouth ignited a pile of cargo directly behind Riku and Lily, and the next volley cut off the way back to the city. Retreat seemed like the best option here. Riku and Lily took off running trying to escape the inferno closing in behind him. Each burst of fire kindled more of the boxes piled here and there along the bridge, but Riku and Lily could sense their little friends were doing their best to keep up behind them. As far s they could tell, they were managing to avoid the flames.
“Stay safe, guys,” Riku muttered under his breath as he and Lily ran desperately, hurdling over the unburned goods.
Around that same time, Frollo and Phoebus were having a standoff in front of a small house on the outskirts of town.
“Stand aside, Captain Phoebus,” Frollo said.
“I will not! What have these people done wrong?” Phoebus stood in front of the modest home, shielding it from the judge. His sword was drawn, and its tip was drawn at Frollo.
“I have proof this family gave harbor to gypsies!” Frollo spat icily.
“That's not a crime.” Not only was Frollo convinced that the gypsies were sinners, now even helping them was a sin? Phoebus was starting to believe the only explanation was that Frollo was out of his mind. In fact, he didn’t even understand why the gypsies were so maligned to begin with. Frollo claimed that they had turned their backs on the divine, but what had they actually done? The girl, Esmeralda, was the one he was really after--what she was guilty of?
“I can think of few crimes that are greater,” Frollo replied. Without warning, a giant monster swooped in the direction of the city and hovered behind the judge as if it served his will.
“What demon is this?” Phoebus cried, just as Riku and Lily came running up.
“Oh, you are mistaken, Captain Phoebus,” Frollo said. “This is no demon. It is righteous judgment! I have been granted this power so that I may smite all gypsies now and forever!”
He walked over to Wargoyle and then looked back as a black aura emanated from him.
“This is all wrong!” Phoebus brought his sword back into position and Riku and Lily summoned their Keyblades. A normal person wouldn’t be able to go toe-to-toe with this Dream Eater.
“He won't listen,” Lily warned the captain.
“Once you've fallen that far, there's almost no coming back,” Riku added.
“How dare you. I am a virtuous man. Good and evil shall be made plain...once the gypsies face the fires of judgment,” Frollo declared confidently, although his displeasure was plain. Phoebus took a sharp breath. Frollo walked away,  the Wargoyle following.
“No you don't!” Phoebus jumped in their path, but the Dream Eater swatted him aside with its sharp talons.
“You all right?” Lily asked. She rushed over to Phoebus and saw a wound on his arm.
“Well, I can't say you didn't warn me,” Phoebus replied.
“You should take it easy. Lily and I will deal with Frollo,” Riku said, looking toward the city where Wargoyle had gone.
“Thanks. I gotta tell you, this is embarrassing--having to rely on kids,” Phoebus replied with chagrin.
“You wouldn't be the first. Sorry,” Lily smiled. The captain her lead, grinning back.
“I'll admit, you look more capable than me right now. All right, be careful. It looks like that creature...is heading for the cathedral,” he said.
“Okay,” Riku said.
Got it,” Lily added. They took off running just as their little friends had arrived. They got the message and followed Riku and Lily into the city.
                                                         ☽✧☽✧
Sora ran down the spiral staircase and out of the chapel, then sprinted through the square. Then a voice called for him to stop.
“Oh. Hello again. Sora, was it?” It was Captain Phoebus! His white shirt and pants weren’t very captain-like at all. Still, Sora was bracing for conflict. Frollo had locked Quasimodo up, and if this guy was friends with him, that meant that he was up to no good. But Phoebus spread his arms and smiled. “Easy. I'm not looking for any sort of fight.”
He sure didn’t seem like a bad person, especially since he was trying to calm Sora down. Sora relaxed a little and dropped out of his fighting stance.
“Finally someone sensible. I'm Phoebus.” After introducing himself, the man looked up at the great stone facade. “Tell me, is she still safe in the cathedral?”
“If ‘she’ is Esmeralda, then Quasimodo helped her escape,” Sora replied. Phoebus’s expression clouded over.
“Blast,” he said.
“What's wrong?”
“It's Judge Frollo. He's obsessed with destroying the gypsies, and his mind is in a dark place. When I objected to his barbarous actions, he banished me from the guards.”
“What? That's not fair.”
“Don't worry about me. Frollo said he's found the ‘Court of Miracles’--the gypsies' haven within the city. Esmeralda and her friends are in danger. We have to find them and warn them before Frollo gets there.” That was when they heard someone behind him. It was Quasimodo. Sora and Phoebus rushed over to him and saw a small pendant lying at his feet.
“Quasimodo, Esmeralda's in trouble!” Sora told him, but the young boy was still looking at the ground.
“Where did she go?” Phoebus asked.
“I don't know. She...she vanished into the streets,” Quasimodo said sadly, the scooped up the pendant. “She...gave me this pendant. Esmeralda said this would help us find her.”
Quasimodo gazed at the pendant, a small, round wooden frame crisscrossed with a lattice of thread. There was a tiny cross in the center of and a miniature gem decorating the pattern.
“It's the city! It's a map, see?” he cried out in excitement. “Here's the cathedral and the river. Go this way, cross the bridge and--the Court of Miracles!”
As someone who had spent nearly all his time looking out over the city, Quasimodo solved the puzzle quickly.
“Well done, Quasimodo!” Phoebus gave him a pat on the back.
“Yeah, Quasi, nice!” Sora took him by the arm happily.
“Yes, I'm going to save her.”
“The trio hurried to the Court of Miracles, the hidden bastion of gypsies. They made their way through the graveyard to the Court of Miracles and found  Esmeralda.
“Quasimodo? What are you doing here?” she asked as she looked at them curiously.
“Phoebus and I came to warn you,” Quasimodo said. “Frollo's on his way!”
“Take what you can and flee!” Phoebus nodded. Esmeralda’s skirt fluttered around her ankles as she whirled make her preparations--when a deep voice rang out.
“Well done, Captain Phoebus.” Sora and the others turned around and saw who it was. “Thankfully, you are every bit as predictable as I had hoped.”
It was Frollo, flanked by a gang of Dream Eaters. The judge smirked.
“Dear Quasimodo. I always knew you would someday be of use to me,” he murmured as he approached his ward. Quasimodo was frozen. “I have you at last, you witch. There'll be a bonfire in the square.”
“Let go of me!” Frollo had seized Esmeralda, but the Dream Eaters kept Sora and Phoebus from getting any closer.
“No. Please, Master!” Though Quasimodo tried desperately to pursue them, Frollo fixed him with an icy gaze, causing Quasimodo to freeze again.
“Frollo, I won't let you do this!” Sora shouted, but he couldn’t go after the judge with the Dream Eaters in his way. Phoebus dashed off, but Quasimodo remained with his eyes lowered.
“you have to go, Quasi!” Sora shouted as he hammered the Dream Eaters that tried to go after Phoebus. However, the young man nervously turned away from Sora.
“You can’t give up!” Sora cried, and Quasimodo finally ran after Phoebus.
After he had finally mopped up the Dream Eaters, Sora went after Quasimodo. Unfortunately, byt the time he got there, it was already a sea of flames with Esmeralda at the center, bound to a stake. Frollo stood before the gallows, watching her with a look of satisfaction. Esmeralda herself was limp, probably unconscious.
“Esmeralda!” Sora cried. Just as he made his way over to her, someone swung down from the cathedral on a rope. It was Quasimodo! Using the rope, he kicked off the wall and made his way down to Esmeralda, then swiftly untied her and took her in his arms.
“Way to go, Quasi!” Sora cheered as Quasimodo made his ascent back up the rope. He clambered up the wall of the cathedral, and once he was back up, he shouted.
“Sanctuary!” He yelled. Frollo had watched the whole thing happened with his head craned upward, and when he heard the cry, he stomped his foot with fury and set out for the cathedral. Sora started after him, only to find the colossal Wargoyle in front of him. The giant Dream Eater was similar to the Hockomonkey but was wilder and more violent with its enormous firearms attached to both sides. It fired off round after round into the sky at terrifying speed, where the shots rained down on Sora all at once. Dodging and weaving his way between them, Sora glanced to the top of the cathedral.
Quasimodo and Frollo were glaring angrily at each other on the rooftop. The judge’s hat had fallen off, and he gripped a blade in his hand. Esmeralda watched the scene anxiously from where she had fallen to the stone roof.
“I should have known you'd risk your life to save that gypsy witch-- just as your own mother died in her pitiful attempt to save you,” Frollo said.
“What?” Quasimodo asked.
“Now...I'm going to do what I should have done twenty years ago!” Frollo slashed with his blade at Quasimodo. Quasimodo ducked out of the way, but the force of the swing knocked both of them off-balance and sent them over the edge of the roof. Suddenly, Esmeralda took ahold of Quasimodo’s hand.
“Hold on! Hold on...” she said. Beside Quasimodo, Frollo had somehow managed to grab and climb onto one of the gargoyle sculptures sticking out from the roof and bellowed in laughter.
“And He shall smite the wicked and plunge them into the fiery pit, forever!” he said as he was poised to strike Esmeralda down with his sword. Esmeralda desperately struggled to haul Quasimodo up. She was helpless to stop him. However, his footing suddenly shifted. The gargoyle adorning the church appeared to move, just like its fellows from before. Frollo slipped and caught hold of the figures neck. As he tried to hoist himself up again, the gargoyle slowly opened its mouth and bared its fangs. The cathedral was Quasimodo’s sanctuary, and all of the statues around it were his friends. The gargoyle broke off, as if its base had crumbled, and dropped both itself and Frollo into the lake of fire in the square. Esmeralda was too busy trying to pull Quasimodo onto the roof to even see what had become of Frollo after his fall.
“Quasimodo!” she cried. But she wasn’t strong enough to it on her own. Her arms wouldn’t take much more, and her strength was about to give up. “Quasi, no!”
When Quasimodo began to slip out of her grip, Phoebus’s powerful hand grabbed the young man and drew him up to the roof. Once he had regained consciousness on the cathedral roof, Quasimodo took Phoebus into an embrace. The captain and Esmeralda had never once laughed at him because he was ugly. Neither had Sora. Esmeralda and Phoebus eventually shared a long look. Quasimodo got to his feet, took both of their hands and place one on top of the other, then enfolded their hands between his own large ones.
                                                        ☽✧☽✧
The plaza in front of the cathedral was ablaze, and tendrils of fire were rising from the tents. Riku and Lily spotted a silhouette in the conflagration and hurried over to it. It was Quasimodo with Esmeralda in his arms.
“Is she going to be all right?” Riku asked.
“I'm fine, thanks to Quasimodo,” Esmeralda replied from Quasimodo’s arms. The young man was watching her with concern.
“Quasimodo, where did the creature go?” Lily asked.
“It's...it's up there,” Quasimodo replied. When Riku and Lily looked at the cathedral with Quasimodo, they saw the Wargoyle circling above them, waiting. The two of them started running to the cathedral, but then Quasimodo cried out desperately after them. “W-wait. Wait, I'll go with you!”
“Thanks, but stay with her,” Riku said. Quasimodo had already won his battle--escaping the cathedral to save Esmeralda.
“Quasimodo. Did your heart have the answer?” Lily asked as she stopped and turned around. The young man nodded with a smile. Riku and Lily responded in kind, then plunged into the cathedral barely in time to see some unfamiliar Dream Eaters getting stamped out of existence. The trio responsible were statues like the ones around the cathedral.
“Well! I guess...you three got this covered,” Riku said. The three statues hopped around contentedly.
“It was a walk in the park!” one of them crowed.
“How would you know? You don't have any legs,” another retorted.
“Yeah, but-- Aw, gimme a break! It's just a figure of speech!” More Dream Eaters appeared behind the statues as the bickered, but thankfully Akaya took care of them.
“Nice one, Akaya!” Lily smiled. Akaya chirped and flew over to her. Lily and Riku nodded and headed up the stairs to the roof.
“Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-...!” Frollo cackled as he surveyed the flames consuming the plaza below, a sword in his hand. “Yes! Let it burn. The flames will consume everything! You see? This is the power that has been granted to me!”
The darkness was like a shroud over him, and he seemed nothing short of insane. Like Junko Enoshima.
“I see a sad old man with a dark heart,” Riku shouted toward Frollo’s back. Frollo spun around to face him and Lily.
“Again, you are wrong! Now you will be judged, just like the rest!” he intoned with terrible malice, just as the Wargoyle shot upward behind him. The gust stirred up a burst of embers--and Frollo lost his footing. The hem of his robe fluttering in the hair, he tumbled to his doom.
“Judgment is mine!” he screamed, plunging into the inferno. As they witnessed the miserable end of the road to darkness, Riku and Lily bit their lip. That was when someone else walked up to the sword Frollo had dropped. Someone neither Riku nor Lily recognized. Her name was Mahiru Koizumi.
“Who are you?!” Lily asked. Another silhouette had emerged--it was Junko again!
“Your best friend is never far,” she said. Beside her, Mahiru picked up Frollo’s sword.
“So sad. The cost of yielding to the darkness,” she said.
“You two could write a book about that,” Riku shouted.
“But I embraced the darkness--and unless you hurry up and learn to do the same, your story will end just like his. And besides, the darkness made me even more beautiful than I was before,” Junko said as Mahiru pointed the sword at Riku and Lily.
“I walk the road to dawn!” Riku and Lily replied, summoning their Keyblades. And yet, Junko fixed them with a quiet look.
“Still afraid of despair, I see,” she said. Although she had never knew Riku, she knew what he went through. Riku and Lily felt a cold sweat run through their bodies. Was that a part of Junko’s magic? Before they could ask, Junko turned away from them and disappeared using her magic along with Mahiru.
“Wait!” Riku and Lily called. They rushed over to them, but was stopped by the Wargoyle. They took a battle stance and quickly defeated the Wargoyle.
                                                       ☽✧☽✧
By the time Sora reached the cathedral roof, it was all said and done. Quasimodo was quietly reaching Esmeralda and Phoebus as they walked away. The three statues had arrived behind them, and they were watching him. Sora noticed the sorrow set in the set of his shoulders.
“Quasimodo,” he said. “You can't let your heart be a--”
“I know.” Quasimodo cut Sora off mid-sentence as he turned around. “I can't blame Frollo for putting walls around me. It wasn't the walls that were holding me back.”
He gazed intently at what lay beyond the doors of the cathedral.
“But my heart is free now. I'm ready to really see what's out there,” he said. With that resolute declaration, Quasimodo stepped toward the light. Sora turned back toward the gloomy chapel and looked at the statue in the center.
“Hypocrite. You are the one who has made your heart a prison...” Sora spun around at the unexpected but familiar voice. It was Junko again.
“You again. What are you talking about?” Sora replied.
“Even if you are not the prisoner.”
“What?!” Sora replied in utter confusion, but the Spirit of Despair had already disappeared. At that moment, a light began to shine from the stained glass ceiling of the chapel. And at its center was a Keyhole. Sora quietly raised his Keyblade. As always, the light it fired disappeared into the Keyhole and opened the way.
                                                      ☽✧☽✧
By the time Riku and Lily reached the paza, the conflagration had been extinguished. Thankfully, it hadn’t spread to the rest of the city.
“R-Riku...! Lily...!” Quasimodo said as he came running up to them. Phoebus and Esmeralda were with him. “Master Frollo--he made me live inside the bell tower, but the real walls were the ones I built around my heart. You two helped me see that.”
Riku shook his head quietly.
“I was...speaking from...personal experience,” he said.
“I'd say you still keep a lot locked inside,” Phoebus said. Lily looked over at RIku and saw that his gaze was lowered. A keyhole appeared above the round glass window of the cathedral. Riku and Lily pointed their keyblades at it and sealed the world.

When Xanthous finished crying his heart out, he stepped over the ripped portrait and then looked in the mirror. His eyes were redder than usual, and his suit was rumpled. But there was nothing he could do.
He walked out the door.
“Sir,” said a demon. “Why was Lord Elrik leaving?”
“He isn’t the Lord anymore.” said Xanthous, staring up at the ceiling as he collected his thoughts. “We broke up.”
The demon looked very surprised, but Xanthous ignored it, walking down the steps.
He made his way back up the portal and walked into the castle, sobbing silently, yet hysterically, again. He wanted to go to his old room and cry.
“Hey Xanthous!” said Emeralda. Then she froze, seeing the tears. “Oh my god, Xanthous, what the hell, what happened?” She leaned over and hugged him, unaffected by the fire.
“Elrik, he, umm, umm,” Xanthous sniffled, trying to say all the words, not quite able to say it. It was still too painful. “He, umm, cheated.”
Emeralda gasped and frowned. “He… did?” she sounded very surprised. It was surprising, to be fair. He could barely believe it either and started to cry louder, sobbing openly now, shaking violently.
Emeralda walked him backwards, still hugging him, into Brystal’s room where everyone was meeting. He could feel everyone’s eyes on him, but his eyes were screwed shut so he couldn’t see them, despite him feeling the weight of their concerned gazes.
“What happened?” asked Brystal, getting up and running over, pressing her hand against his back and rubbing to comfort him.
“Says Elrik cheated on him.” said Emeralda.
Lucy coughed, probably drinking something. Not alcohol though. She never drank alcohol when he was around out of respect.
“He what?” said Lucy, horrified. “Xanthous, why would you think that?” she sounded as if the mere idea of Elrik cheating was the most unbelievable thing she had ever in her life. “He loves you more than anything in his entire life.”
“Apparently that’s not enough.” said Xanthous, mumbling, but still loud enough to be heard. “He was, umm, with someone in our bed.” he said, tilting his head down and pressing into Emeralda’s dress, the slight sharpness of the gemstones keeping him grounded.
Tangerina made a sympathetic noise and Skylene got up, moving over and tightly hugging him from the back.
“That’s horrible.” said Tangerina. “He should never have done that to you.” her bees were buzzing loudly and buzzing around her hair, sensing her agitation.
“It’s okay.” said Xanthous. “I kicked him out, I just want to forget it happened.” Then, quieter, “He deserved better than me anyway.”
Emeralda pushed him away from her, holding his shoulder, a hard look on her face. “Xanthous Hayfield, what the Hell did you just say.”
“That, umm, he deserves better, and it was fine?” Xanthous was incredibly confused.
“Xanthous Emery Hayfield—” Emeralda started.
“Not my middle name.” Xanthous did not have a middle name.
“Shush. Xanthous Emerson Hayfield, you are a catch and if I liked men, I would totally be in love with you. You are nice, caring, sincere, and one of the most excitable puppy-like people I know, which, granted, isn’t a lot.” Xnthous giggled a bit about that. “You are brave, and very, very powerful.” Emeralda took a deep breath. “So if Elrik had the audacity to cheat on you, he is 100% in the wrong and you deserve better. Not him. M’kay?”
Xanthous looked at her and nodded. “M’kay.”
“Good boy.” Emeralda patted his hair. “Come on. We’re gonna make hot chocolate and trash on the other royals.”
Xanthous giggled a little bit and then nodded.
Brystal waved her wand and summoned hot chocolate from the kitchen. “Here you go.” she said, passing Xanthous his. It was a super sugary hot chocolate with a pile of whipped cream on top and crushed peppermint.
“How are Penny and Barry?” he said after he’d curled up into Emeralda’s side, and then wiped the whipped cream off of his nose.
“Oh, they’re amazing. Barry is so whipped for Penny, it’s so cute.” Brystal said. “Their official portraits are done, so that is so amazing.”
“Oh, can I see?” Xanthous perked up. His love life may be in shambles, but he liked to have fun with other couples.
“Sure.” Brystal pulled up a memory of the portrait with magic.
Penny was sitting on her throne, holding the ceremonial staff. Barry was standing behind her, hand on her shoulder. Both looked serious, since they had to sit there for hours.
“It looks adorable.” said Xanthous, cooing.
“I know.” said Skylene. “It’s no where near as fun as yours, but they couldn’t do magic, so it makes sense.”
Xanthous froze when she said that, and Skylene seemed confused for a moment before realizing what she’d said.
“Oh my god, I’m sorry, I was just thinking about the plans he was making for your anniversary, and I don’t—”
Tangerina slapped her hand over Skylene’s mouth and looked at Xanthous. “Sorry.”
“What do you mean anniversary?” said Xanthous in confusion.
There was a beat of silence.
“Xanthous,” said Brystal after a moment. “you’ve been dating Elrik for almost one year.”
“Ah, yes, we have.” Xanthous nodded. “Why?”
“It’s almost your one-year anniversary.” Lucy said. “Did you… did you not know about that?”
“I mean, I’ve heard it said a few times, but is it an important thing?”
There was another awkward silence.
Lucy sighed. “I think I know the problem then.”
“What do you mean?” asked Xanthous, frowning. He knew what the problem was. Elrik has cheated on him.
“Xanthous, is it possible Elrik was just making plans for your anniversary and was hugging whoever he was talking to?” Lucy said, laying it out.
Another beat of silence.
“Fuck.” said Xanthous.
~~
Elrik was perched on one of the trees outside the school, chatting with some of the younger fairies about the other kingdoms and what it was like being a prince.
He knew what Xanthous thought, and he figured he would just send a letter to Xanthous tomorrow apologizing and explaining everything.
“Mr. Elrik!” said a small voice.
He looked up to see a young fairy dragging Xanthous behind him.
“Ah, hello Xanthous.”
“Hello.” said Xanthous. He sounded quiet and ashamed. “Can we talk in private?”
Elrik nodded and jumped down the tree. “Of course, let’s go.”
Xanthous led him away and to the entrance of Hell. No one was near it, but Xanthous didn’t go in, and neither did Elrik. He didn’t know why Xanthous was so quiet, figured he would start yelling immediatly. Though he did know Xanthous never wanted to become his father.
“Elrik.” said Xanthous after a moment. “I’m sorry for breaking up with you. The girls, and Lucy, may have yelled some sense into me.”
“What do you mean?” asked Elrik in confusion.
“I didn’t actually know how important a first-year anniversary is. I have been informed you may not have been cheating on me and were simply hugging someone.” he said stiffly. “I’m very sorry and I hope you can forgive me and take me back?” Xanthous sounded very hopeful about that and Elrik almost cooed.
“Obviously.” said Elrik, reaching up and kissing Xanthous softly. “I’d never cheat on you firefly. I love you more than anything. It’ll be like we never broke up.”
“And next time you’re worried about something, come to me instead of bottling it up.”

May's Birthstone: EmeraldMay’s birthstone Emerald has been a staple of the jewelry industry for hundreds of years. The word Emerald derives from the word “smaragdus” which means green. The gem represents love, fertility and rebirth. Its green hues and distinct tones set it apart as natures beauty at work. The stone is believed to grant the owner foresight, good fortune and youthfulness.Emerald like aquamarine is a form of beryl, a mineral that grows with six sides and up to 1 feet in length. The color of Emerald ranges from light green (although these types are thought to not be pure emeralds) to deep, rich green emerald which is considered to be the most valuable form. The rarest emeralds are the green-blue varieties. The way Emerald presents itself in a piece of jewelry depends on how well cut it is by a skilled gemologist. History of the EmeraldAs with most birthstones. The darker the color, the richer and more valuable is the stone and the emerald is no different. The prices for emerald ranges on the dark green color to the iconic dark green with a tint of blue. The gem is formed from chromium, vanadium and iron and the varying amounts of these 3 elements gives it its range of colors. Iron is responsible for a blueish tint, and the other two give it its deep green color. The cut, color and clarity are the other factors that determine the quality and value of the stone.Emeralds like most gemstones naturally have ...

Chapter 2: A familiar face.
JUST TO CLARIFY, I WILL HAVE POINTS OF VIEW FROM DIFFERENT CHARACTERS IN THIS STORY BUT IN THE END IT WILL ALWAYS GO BACK TO ALEX. SHE IS MY MAIN CHARACTER.
I woke up feeling more tired than usual. I had a dream, I saw myself laughing, happy and surrounded by friends. My father always told me that dreams that people have during their first night in a new place always come true. I guess we will see as right now I'm very lonely.
I'm glad that classes start in a week, I still need to get some supplies. There is a new book about potions from Emeralda Hawkins that I'd like to get even if it's not on the list. I love potions, different combinations and recipes. Whenever I had a chance to spend some time with my father, he would teach me different kinds of recipes for potions, and when he left I studied by myself to make him proud, and right now there isn't a potion that I wouldn't know about. I went to the dining hall to eat some breakfast. Most of the students already finished their meals, I sat down at the Slytherin table. Thankfully, I was able to sit on my own far away from Draco and his group of friends. I didn't want to cause any trouble especially when one of the girls, I think her name was Pansy is giving me dirty looks and I never even spoke to her. Anyway, I had a toast with a scrambled egg and some hot tea to drink. I wiped my mouth and started to walk, by the time that I finished my breakfast half- of the hall was emptier than before.
I went for a walk to look around Hogwarts. I thought that the school was magnificent, moving portraits each telling different story, ghosts wandering around the castle, chatting to the students and sharing their live stories and the beautiful cobblestone covered with moss. Makes me wish that I was a part of this school before the battle, to see the difference between now and then. I was heading towards the main entrance, when I accidentally overheard a conversation between two girls, I didn't want to spy but I couldn't help myself, curiosity took over me.
*Alex hides behind a stone wall and quietly listens to the conversation between Pansy and her best friend Laurie.*
- God, who even is she?
- I know right? She looks like she fell from a tree... Poor thing.
- Yeah... and her hair is awful, does she even wash it? And that colour, ew.
*Loud laughter*
- Laurie! That is so mean, I can't believe you! -said Pansy, slyly.
- Haha! And her nose reminds me of Professor Snape's nose, big and... hmm.. big and ugly.
*Girls burst out laughing even harder now ,while Alex is confused.*
- But Pansy, that girl Alex... She reminds me of someone.
- Yeah, me too. She looks like a wet rat!
*Both girls can't control themselves and laugh again. Alex steps back and gently touches her hair, nose and face a little tear is creeping from one of her eyes.*
-Honestly Laurie, no decent guy will ever want to date a girl like her. What is she even doing in Slytherin?
- Maybe McGonagall took pity on her and took her in, seeing as she looks like all she can afford is clothes from a flea market.
*Girls walk outside laughing like there's no tomorrow.*
I stood there, behind a wall for a while. Unable to move, to speak. I couldn't believe what I just heard. How can a person be so vile. They were talking about me . I could feel my eyes fill with tears, I started running, faster and faster until I found myself on the 7th floor in front of huge doors. I pushed by it and entered. I didn't see where I was going, all I wanted to do was disappear. All of a sudden I felt peace, no noise, no people. I started to breathe heavily, I could feel my body burn but I had to control it for the safety of everyone. I rubbed my eyes and I saw a beautiful room if I can call it that. There were beautiful white lilies, green fresh grass and bushes of purple lilac. I wasn't sure whether I was still at school but I didn't care I loved it here. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I laid on the grass and rolled over onto my left side and all of a sudden all of my thoughts came back, Pansy laughing and saying all of this horrible stuff made me cry again. It felt like I cried for hours.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                                                                  DRACO
*sigh* I need a break from all of this. I dragged myself on the 7th floor to relax in the Room of Requirements. I eventually got there, it appeared. I enter but I wasn't alone, I saw someone laying on the grass, crying? I quickly turned back and almost left but then I heard it again. She was crying. I quietly closed the door -.
*Alex can be heard crying in the distance.*
.- It was clearer, she was really crying. She had long auburn hair, slim yet curvy figure and rosy skin. I slowly approached her but -.
- AAAAAAAGH!
*Alex got scared, and screamed.*
- Sorry! I'm sorry don't scream you're gonna make me deaf! I just wanted to make sure if you're alright, that's all.
- I'm alright, don't worry.
She looked at me, with her coal black eyes and puffy face trying to convince me that she's fine. I didn't believe her.
- Then I guess... I guess I'm gonna go now. If you're fine.
I turned around and slowly started to walk.
- No, stay! Can you tell me... tell me about this place? What is it?
I turned and walked back to her, I sat in front of her. To not get into her personal space.
- Sure, well. This is called the Room of Requirements. It's based on the 7th floor but it will only appear to someone who really is in need of something. You can find anything in here, one day there is a comfy couch with a fire and the other day there is a field filled with grass. It all depends what you need at a given time.
- I had no idea that rooms like this existed.
- I'm not sure but I think this is the only one.
*Silence crawled between Draco and Alex.*
- Can I ask you why... why were you crying?
- Well I just, overheard a conversation about me and let's just say it wasn't pleasant and I just got upset. It's not easy being the new girl, especially now.
*Alex tilted her head down with a sad face.*
- A wise man once told me that, people who find joy in making others miserable are idiots.. Trust me, I know.
-Maybe you're right. What are you doing in this room then?
- Sometimes I just need a break. *sigh.*
- Don't we all.
*Alex and Draco sat sin silence for a while enjoying the peace and quiet.*
- I'm Draco by the way.
- Oh, I know... I mean, I'm Alex! Nice to meet you.
*Both Alex and Draco shake each others hands.*
- I need to ask you something... I heard rumors about you and just wanted to know if there is any truth to that. What happened here? I mean during the battle... I only know a little bit about it but-.
*Draco's relaxed and happy face dropped, he looked sad all of a sudden.*
-. They're old times, no need to talk about it.
- I'm sorry I didn't mean to, I just-.
-. Whatever, it's alright. Look, I have to go it was very nice talking to you but I would appreciate it if nobody finds out about it.
*Draco stood up and stormed out of the room.*
-. just wanted to know... Great Alex, day 2 and you already screwed something up.  *sigh.*
                                                              END OF DRACO'S P.O.V
I decided to leave a while after Draco, it was close to dinner time so I figured that I might as well go save myself a seat. While I was walking down the stairs I was wandering if I ever find the room again or him. I made it to the dining room to see that it was almost full, I tried to locate a seat, there was one between one of the 1st years and 3rd years, it was better than sitting beside the others. All I wanted was to get to that seat when suddenly I felt a sharp pain and found myself on the ground.
- WHAT THE HELL, ARE YOU BLIND?! YOU'RE SO STUPID THAT YOU NEED A MAP TO FIND YOUR WAY HERE, LOOSER?!
Damn it, I walked right into Draco and fell on my butt. It wasn't the same Draco that I've met in the room just few hours ago, it was the one from the train on the ride to Hogwarts. He was mean again. I was so embarrassed, I got up off my butt and ran straight to the Slytherin's common room. I jumped on my bed and screamed to my pillow. When I eventually calmed down, I laid on the bed and wondered, what happened to him? Was it my fault? Or maybe I imagined things, maybe Pansy was right... Why would any guy even look at me.
- When will this torture end?
*Alex rolls over and softly cries into her pillow.*

Manga Giveaway: Assassin’s Creed Giveaway Winner
And the winner of the Assassin’s Creed: Awakening manga giveaway is… Sean Kleefeld!
As the winner, Sean (who does some great writing about comics) will be receiving a copy of the first volume in Takashi Yano and Kenji Oiwa’s Assassin’s Creed: Awakening as published in English by Titan Comics. Since pirates feature very prominently in the series, I wanted to learn about some of the giveaway participant’s favorite pirates from manga. Perhaps unsurprisingly considering the popularity of the series characters from Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece were mentioned several times, but some lesser-known pirates can be found in the giveaway comments, too.
Some of the manga released in English featuring pirates: Assassin’s Creed: Awakening written by Takashi Yano, illustrated by Kenji Oiwa Basara by Yumi Tamura Berserk by Kentaro Miura Black Lagoon by Rei Hiroe Bodacious Space Pirates: Abyss of Hyperspace by Chibimaru Captain Harlock by Leiji Matsumoto Captain Harlock: Dimensional Voyage written by Leiji Matsumoto, illustrated by Kouiti Shimaboshi Cirque du Freak by Takahiro Arai Elemental Gelade by Mayumi Azuma The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass by Akira Himekawa One Piece by Eiichiro Oda Princess Knight by Osamu Tezuka Queen Emeraldas by Leiji Matsumoto Stone by Sin-ichi Hiromoto Vinland Saga by Makoto Yukimura Wanted by Matsuri Hino Yona of the Dawn by Mizuho Kusanagi
I’m certain that the above list isn’t comprehensive, but I was a little surprised by how few series I was able to easily come up with that feature pirates! Still, it’s an interesting mix which includes historical pirates, fantasy pirates, space pirates, and more. Thank you to everyone who participated by sharing your personal favorites with me! I hope to see you all again for the next monthly giveaway.

Hints
Hyper Mode
Any character can use hyper mode after getting the xenogears. Hyper mode gives the gear attack level infinity for three turns. To do this, you must first get a gear up to attack level 3, then attack once more without using a deathblow. The chance of going into hyper mode is figured out by taking one tenth of the percent of Health you have lost and multiplying that number by five. Another way to figure this out is just to look to the right of the screen while in battle. It will tell you the chance of going into hyper mode. The Xenogears always has a 99% chance of doing this. This makes the final boss very easy. Also, if you select charge while in hyper mode, you will recover 10 times the normal amount of fuel.
Hidden Cash
In the beginning of the game in Lahan you can check Fei’s bed for 200G.
Good Dinner
On the hill to Citan’s house there is a particular tree were you can jump into. When you do this you will recieve an egg, but a bird will also fly over your head taking a point of HP away from you every few seconds. If you make it to Citan’s house without giving the egg back you can do something cool. Walk into Citan’s house and give his wife the egg. After Fei eats dinner he will feel bad about eating the egg and gain some weight. This won’t help you in the game, but it is kind of funny.
Unorthodox No Random Battles
When in a dungeon (like the sewers in D block) open the lid [NOTE: This is not recommended by GameSages. Do this at your own risk.] to your PlayStation and the area you are in will be free of random battles allowing you to explore freely! But make sure when you leave the area (like open a door to go somewhere else) you close the lid on your PlayStation first.
Tifa Cameo
Just before you put in the second CD, you can see a picture of Tifa from Final Fantasy 7. When you’re in Solaris, in the Class 2 Citizen Sector, find the room with a minigear flying around in a circle. Look above the beds and you should find a small picture of Tifa on the wall.(Not really a code but cool to know!)
The Final Battle
When you reach the Disc 2 scenario ‘First and Last’, it’s time to win the game. Getting through Merkava can either be simple or hard, depending on your technique. Remember that pressing Select lets you view the map.AREA 1: Head for the top-right dead end which leads you to a new area. AREA 2: Dodge those beams.AREA 3: Your goal is to reach the red circle. The tunnels that surround you that can connect you to other areas are the only spots where you can battle. Hop on top of certain elevators to alter the geography here.AREA 4: Dodge thos beams again.AREA 5: Ramsus and Miang all over again. This is where you fought these two earlier. Yes, the save point and Shopkeeper Johnny are there. Johnny allows you to leave Merkava, do so at your own risk. You cannot start at this spot, you’ll have to travel through all over again. Anyways, go through to where you fought Miang. Deus is in the green pit.DEUS: Many strategies exist for him, although the best one is to take out at least some of the surrounding orbs first. Each one eliminates at least one of Deus’ abilities. The best part, you can fight them with ANYONE! Fei doesn’t need to be in your party.Okay, which orb? At first glance they all look the same. But, they each have a different color of electricity surrounding them. The best one to take out right away is the one that has yellow. Remember not to take out your best 3 fighters for orb fights. It should look like a flat yellow design on the ground. This guy can drain your fuel at 400 units per whack. Best to equip at least 1 GNSR50 on each character (you should have at least 5 of these for a real easy fight). Now, hit this thing with Triangle attacks. Combos don’t work here. Soon he’ll die and victory is yours. Deus can’t drain your fuel anymore. Finally, take out the red one. After every one of your attacks, he’ll counter attack, but that isn’t really a problem. Defeat this one and Deus can’t heal.Next switch to your top 3 fighters. Start by turning everyone’s Booster on. Then just whack the hell out of Deus. It’s possible to complete this battle without restoring HP, but remember to keep your HP above 10,000. Also, when the hands or mini-angels fly off, you’ll be counter attacked for what’s usually around a combined total of 2000 HP if you have 1000 Defence. With Deus gone, some scenes will be shown and you’ll have another battle to face. It’ll be Xenogears alone agains one opponent. Turn Booster on and keep using combos. With proper equipment you should end up winning easily.
The Anima Dungeon 1
There are some tricky puzzles in the Anima Dungeon. The activation code for Door Lock Area B and is 0-3-2-0. Once in the Central Elevator, you’ll have to input another code at each of the four terminals surrounding the elevator. The codes are as follows: Address A: 2Address B: 4Address C: 8Address D: 5After entering these codes, SEARCH the area to the right of Address A. You will then be able to activiate the elevator and proceed further.
Stones Of Dawn, Dusk And Darkness
If you go to Shevat (the UFO country), go into the old capital area. If you wander around you will find a store full of Chu-Chus. Go onto the balcony and talk to the pink Chu-Chu on top of the light cone (you have to jump and hit [X] when you touch her), she will tell you about Light, Darkness, and Dawn. She is giving you a clue to where to find the Stones of Dawn, Dusk, and Darkness. To get the Dark Stone, go down the elevator in the Chu-Chu store and go out of the door. You’ll meet an old woman who will sell you some Spider Web (unless you got the web in the beginning of the game) and tell you to fish in the fountain. Go back to where you came out of, jump to the top of the fountain, and hit [X].Fei will pull up a fish with the Dark Stone in it’s mouth. Now, go to the ruined house in the old capital. In the first room there is a doll on the table by the door. It is holding the Dusk Stone. Now go outside onto the main part of the saucer (with the angel statue and the red things). Go as far as you can in the direction the statue is facing and search. You now have the Dawn Stone.Go back to the old capital and step on the circular stone under the arch. Now hit [X] and choose to go down. Go down the staircase, out the door, and go to the elevator pad you can see. Step on, activate it, and Fei will put the three stones in it. The pad will now take you to a secret room. Search the two lowest tables. One has a Chu-Chu idol that Chu-Chu can equip when she joins you, and the other one has a ton of goodies.
Secret Inscription
On the second disc, after Emeralda has grown, take her to Citan’s house in the mountains and go into the shed behind the house (where you saw that big music box at the beginning of the game). Check the sides of the box a couple of times and you will read a secret inscription
Perfect Items
To get the most powerful weapons for Citan & Bart, and the best armor for your female members you need to EQUIP Trader Card (which you get by defeating Hammer) on Fei and fight Dragon on the Duneman Isle. After you beat it you will get large amount of experience points and an item. The ones I found were: 1. Death Adder (Bart)2. Moyomo sword ( Citan)3. Kaiser helmet (any male party member)4. Blessed helmet (female)5. Blessed armor (female)
Music Test
Just after beating “The Champ” Rico at the arena, head over to the Wildcat Bar in the Civilian Area in Kislev. You’ll find Big Joe standing near an alley. He’ll ask you for 5000 G to show you something cool. Give him the gold, but he’ll take it and run. Let him have it. Later, after the air raid by Aveh, you’ll see Big Joe in the city map. He’ll apologize for ganking your gold and tell you to look in the alley again. You’ll find the M Disc, which you can play in the juke box in the Wildcat.
Midori’s Ring
I’ve seen some of the FAQs that mentions Midori’s ring which can be found behind the flower bed at Citan’s house. In the earlier part of the game, Fei would not give the ring to Midori. However, after Shevat has crashed. Talk to Midori (in the queen’s old bedroom). you will exchange the ring with her. She will give you hercules ring that when worned would increase the XP you gain by 50%.Incidently, you can also get that ring from the Chu Chu’s room in shevat (where the old chu chu was yapping about his ancient treasures). just go in front of the gear parts stall and take the lift to go up. search the two tables.Of course the crashed shevat changes from time to time. so after exploring the continent, regularly come back to check out shevat again. behind the gear counter, there is a hole. go through there and the man hole that follows to find your self in a gigantic warehouse. there you meet a man that will offer to create a weapon to destroy Dues. of course that weapon is none other than Citan’s sword. The above tips are for disc 2. but this one works when you get ygdrassil (sand cruiser, sea cruiser or flying cruiser). you land somewhere, get your gears damaged or run out of fuel and etc. go back to the ygdrassil and then press square to enter inside the ship. if you know check your menu, you will see that your gears are fully restored. you MUST however enter the ship. just pressing X and climbing on the ship does not work.
Kijin Sword
At the episode “First and Last”, you will find yourself in the Snowfield Hideout. Citan must be in your party. Find the Gearshop and there you will find a passage way. At the end of the passage, you’ll find a hole. Enter it and you’ll find a man in a large area. Unequip the Kishin Sword from Fenrir then talk to that man. After a bit long talk he will present to you the enhanced Kishin Sword now known as KIJIN
Infinite Ammo For Billy (and Renmazou)
To get infinite ammo for Billy first you will need 2 guns. Simply equip a different gun then re-equip your other gun, the ammo you used is as if you had not used it at all. (NOTE: This only works for his triangle attack.)
Help On Beating Calamity
At the end of the Stalactite Cave you will meet a huge Gear. Not a happy camper, Calamity the Gear will be a large problem. Make sure Fei and Bart are on high levels (20-25), even though it is still hard to win at that. Have Bart cast Wild Smile on Calamity, making it hard for him to hit you with any of his physical attacks. Next, hit him with all your ten point attacks, and save your energy until your gear power is at level one. Use your best level one combos for both Fei and Bart, hopefully huting the huge gear. Keep in mind that Calamity has 2500 Hp. It will take a while to wear him down. Don’t be so happy about how much he can hurt you,his missle attack will still hit you a whopping 400-500 damage, not giving you much time. But if it ever comes to this, use Fei’s Guided Shot as your last defense.
Get The Deathblow Item
When you are on the Thames, you will encounter people who challenge you to a game that is similar to speed. If you win against all the people located in the Beer hall and the Supply Grounds, go to the Armor grounds and play against the female who is standing with two men. If you bet her, she will give you a deathblow item for your gear. This item will allow you to do a deathblow attack.
Elly’s Power Spells
This is how to make elly an super power. 1. buy the ether doubler at nisan (38k) 2. get power magic (gear parts) from somewhere 3. equip elly with the ether doubler and her gear with the power magic and her weakest spells take off 1000+ at the least.Try putting 2 or 3 power magics on her and see where it leads! *note* you must be in gear for this to work!
Easy Deathblow Training
There are at least 2 enemys that will let you practice your deathblow combos all you want. The creature named Phobia in the ‘Ethos’ dig site (right after getting billys gear.) The creature Dorothy in solaris (before it blows up.) Those 2 creatures will get healed everytime you strike them with a melee attack. Make sure you have a healer in your party and just keep doing the deathblow moves over and over and over.Once you’ve learned all the techniques you desire, simply cast a healing spell on the monster to kill it.
Defeating Ramsus
Make sure you have plenty of aquasols or omegasols before going into battle. When fighting Ramsus, he uses a MIRROR MODE maneuver. Don’t attack him or your hits will miss – just defend and if you have Fei you can try using Fei’s GUIDED SHOT attack. This attack only uses 1 HP but it will knock Ramsus down and he might remove his MIRROR MODE, allowing you to get in some serious butt-kicking. He has about 200HP
Defeating Hammer
This is a useful tip for playing disk 2 of Xenogears. At the dungeon where Rico gets his new gear, there’s this monster called Hamar, who self-destructs after he glows red. The explosion is lethal but the party can escape before Hamar blows up.However, the trick here is to kill him before he blows up and he will give a special item which increases the rate of receiving rare items. (Actually, it goes to 100%.) The way to do it is to reserve some infinity or level 3 attacks until he turns red. Once he starts glowing, give it all to him. (Booster helps too!)With the special item equipped, go to any forest & fight white snails. These creatures were plentiful in disk 1 but now they are quite rare. Killling these creatures gives the speed belt (helps gears & human battles). Besides this, there are many other special items/equipment carried by monsters.submitted
Defeating Deus
This tip is the first confrontation that occurs 1/2 into Disc 2)During Disc 2, you’ll come across a huge “alien life form that had been petrified for thousands of years”. This is Deus. Your first indication is to slash the hell out of this thing. This is impossible, since Deus will recharge by 20,000 of it’s 40,000 Hit Points. The tactics here are to quickly hit Deus with your best fighter (let’s say Fenrir). Now, wait for a while as Deus may hit your characters numerous times while also using an attack that will spell his own death. His attack that cuts you HP to half.Keep waiting while Deus uses this attack on himself. When he uses it and the HP he loses is one that the level 1 combo of our Fenrir can equal, whack him with our good friend. Deus will die quickly. If you miss or your attack does not kill, just await your death as his HP will rise by 20,000 and any of his attacks will kill you (unless you recharge).
Change Gears Quickly
When you are on the world map or a place that you can use your Gears, press L2+R2 and you can hop in and out without going to the menu.
Boss Fight Miang
NOTE: This may be a spoiler for some of you.] After defeating Ramsus for the last time. when Deus is about to be ressurected again, you will be taken into battle with Miang. Her attack ranges from 0-5000 HP about every 4 turns. If you are hurting from your battle with Ramsus that is OK. Start charging your gears as soon as you start the fight with Miang. As long as you don’t attack she will only hit you for 0 HP this will enable you to restore your Fuel, and also your HP before you begin attacking. Once your gears are restored to about 15000 HP and at least 1000 Fuel attack using X with one person per round between Miangs attacks. It will hit her for about 1400 – 1700. Then, when she attacks you it will hit for about 250. Keep doing this until everyone is at attack level 3 then let her have it – she will die. And thus, this becomes a very easy battle. the easiest one in the game. 🙂
Adult Emerelda And Free Money
After Shevat crashes to earth and all the continents are messed up, in about the middle there will be a fairly large fairly empty contenint. However, there will be a lighthouse – go into it and Citan will say something then go in the door (bring Emerelda with you for something extra!). Once you’re in the big city, just wander aruond untill Fei says something like “we can get out of our gears and proceed on foot.” (he always says this by a door to a building). So do just that, get out of your gears and head into the light. In one of the rooms the “heroic” music will be playing and Big Joe will be standing there selling items and (exeptionally good) gear parts. There will be a few chests – take whats in em’ and sell it to Big Joe. Then leave, come back and the chests will be there again. Take, sell, reapeat as necesary. For the extra thing with emerelda, in your wandering Fei will say “lets get out of our gears bla bla bla” and there won’t be a door nearby. If you look closely at the ground you’ll see a hole which you can go in. Go down the tunnels and you’ll find yourself in a subway tunnel. Go in the train and examine the front of it to get a z-charger. Exit the train and head up the stairs. Proceed to the end of this room and watch the scene. Emerelda will grow into a full grown woman!
