New Kenjaze (Kenji/Senpai x Blaze) AU! Here, Kenji is a history student at a university in England. But he is also the dashing gentleman thief known as "Phantom Rose". He steals artifacts from the British Museum that were taken from other countries, making sure they're returned safely to their proper communities.

One of his heists is a special one, for he believes the artifact in question can provide a lead to the disappearance of his mother (his dad is sadly no longer in his life, having divorced his mom and walked out on them). However, during the heist, he is stopped by a certain brunette, one "Agent Daisy" (more on her in another post) who is also after the artifact, as her organization (the HPA, the Human Protection Agency) suspects a villain is also after it...and how right they were.

Kenji manages to take it and runs to make his get away, and thus ensuing a chase sequence between the two. However it ends with the two of them in the clutches of said villain (no name yet, but probably a humanized version of Spirit from the base game). 

The two, with some teamwork are able to escape and decide to lay low at Kenji's dorm until the morning. The two then (with a bit of reluctance on Blaze's side) formally introduce themselves to each other in their "civilian personas". After talking about why they both needed the artifact, they realize that they have a common goal and common enemy/obstacle. 

The two strike a deal: Kenji will help her on her mission to stop the villain's plans, and Blaze won't rat him out to the authorities. Likewise, Blaze will help Kenji find his mother, and Kenji will help Blaze find her father (more on that on her post). And thus the two become a dynamic, if rather unlikely duo.

Here's my version of the "Spirit Senpai" idea.

While Spirit and Senpai are separate characters, I really like the whole "Spirit Senpai" concept and so I decided to make my own version for my fanon. I consider this a sort of Venom/Symbiote scenario in terms of how the transformation works and the design. 

After the events of Week 6, Spirit found a way to make his presence known without straight up killing his host like before (well, after Kenji's (Senpai) files/code was restored before Blaze released him from the game, of course.). This form is mainly used for self-defense (i.e to protect the host) or if Blaze is in danger. While the transformation is mostly voluntary, Spirit does occasionally force the transformation...mainly in front of a certain demon girl's father...

FNF Headcanons: Senpai's Game

Here are my headcanons surrounding and expanding upon the game that Week 6 takes place in. More to (likely) be added in the future.

Behind the Game

The game's name is NOT "Hating Simulator", that's just the week name. The game's actual name is "Sakura Days".

The game was made by the Japanese game studio "Exitheart", a small studio founded in the mid-to-late 90's. Sakura Days was their attempt at making a dating sim game, which were becoming quite popular in the market at the time.

Released in 2003, it sold well in Japan, and got above-average review scores. Unfortunately didn't sell as well in the states, not poorly, but it didn't get as much traction as it did in Japan.

Exitheart unfortunately doesn't exist anymore in current day, it was bought out and merged with a larger game company.

Amber (Girlfriend) was given the game as a birthday present when she turned 13. Years later she gave the copy to Blaze after the latter's respective week, which is how she and Kenji met.

About the game

The game features six characters, three guys, three girls. At the start of the game, the player chooses one of them to play as. Each of them have are themed with a flower and color.

The three guys are Kenji Sakubara (aka "Senpai"), Satoru Murasaki, and Makoto Himawari . Themed with pink and roses, purple and violets, and yellow and sunflowers respectfully.

The three girls are. Naomi Suzuran (aka "Kohai"), Akane Tsubaki, and Midori Kikumori Themed with blue and lilies, red and camellias, and green and chrysanthemums respectfully.

Kenji and Naomi are the default characters, and the ones that were featured the most on the marketing for the game.

The background girls also have names! Being Ayame (the brown haired girl with the ponytail) and Kaede (the girl with short black hair). They show up in the background of cutscenes and the Music Club minigame (more on that below). They are also your rival's teammates in the soccer minigame (see below).

For a brief description of personalities. Kenji is the romantic gentleman, Satoru is the bookish stoic, Makoto is the excitable fun-lover, Naomi is the shy and reserved creative, Akane is the rough-and-tumble tomboy, and Midori is the gentle motherly figure.

The game takes place mainly in the school, known simply as "Sakura Academy"

The premise is pretty simple: The school's spring festival is coming up and you want to get a date for it. You have 15 days (30 days if you pick "semester" mode) to woo the girl/guy of your choice before your rival can.

The Gameplay

Upon starting the game, you have a choice to pick if you'll be playing as a boy or a girl. If a boy you can choose either Kenji, Satoru, or Makoto. If a girl you can choose either Naomi, Akane, or Midori. After which you pick the crush you want to pursue.

Datable options are (sadly) gender-locked (ex: Kenji can only date Naomi, Akane, or Midori). The one of the two character options you didn't choose become your rival (ex: Picking Naomi makes Akane or Midori your rival.).

You also pick how long your want your session to be. Either "quarter" mode, which gives you 15 days before the festival. Or "semester" mode, which gives you 30 days before the festival. This affects the amount of points you get for the affection meter (see below).

The game, while mostly being a dating sim, also has a competitive minigame angle to it. The goal, as stated above, is to get the guy or girl you picked for your crush to agree to be your date for the school's Spring festival.

This is done by three ways. One is by talking to them, the second is by getting them gifts, and the third is to do minigames to impress them. Doing these increases the affection meter for the character you do these to/for. In order to win, you must have the bar higher than your rivals before the day of the festival. The meter must also be at at least 65% or higher in order to win.

However it is possible to lose affection meter points. Such as making wrong dialogue choices, giving your date their disliked gift, or losing the minigames. Your rivals can lose points as well.

Each day, you have a set amount of "stamina" to spend, you spend it by talking to characters, playing minigames, or working, which gets you money to spend on gifts at the school's store. Once you run out of stamina you can't do anything else and must return to your home and sleep. Sleeping ends the day, transitioning to the next one. Your rival's points will be counted once you go to sleep, allowing you to spend the next day catching up.

You can only do one minigame per day, and give only one gift per-day.

There are six minigames, presented as "clubs". These are Music, Science, Tennis, Art, Soccer, and Cooking. All six characters has a favorite club, doing them and winning will grant you a small bonus to points gained for the affection meter. However losing the minigame will also make you lose a few more points than with any other minigame.

As for how each minigame plays...

Music: Plays just like how it is in Week 6, a rhythm game where you hit the d-pad in tandem with the arrow notes. This club is Kenji's favorite.

Science: Trivia game. Answer the questions right to earn points, the player with the most amount of points by the end of the minigame wins. This club is Satoru's favorite.

Tennis: Plays pretty much like Mario Tennis. Hit the ball and try to get your rival to miss it to earn points. The one to hit 5 points first wins. This club is Makoto's favorite.

Art: Button combo minigame. Hit the buttons in the combo shown to create paintings as fast as you can within the time limit. The one with the most paintings is the winner. This club is Naomi's favorite.

Soccer: Get the ball into your rival team's goal to earn points. The team with the most points after 3 minutes wins. Both teams have 2 team mates, your teammates are the characters you didn't pick for your date (Ex: Picking Naomi, then picking Kenji for your date would make your teammates Satoru and Makoto.) while your rivals teamates are Ayame and Kaede. This club is Akane's favorite.

Cooking: Plays similarly to Cooking Mama mixed with Warioware. You must complete a series of microgames to make your dish before your rival finishes theirs. Microgames include chopping, frying/sauteing, mixing, baking, and boiling. This club is Midori's favorite.

Once all 15/30 days are up, the festival will begin. In which you confess to your crush that you love them. If the affection meter is at 65% or higher and it's higher than your rival's, then you win. If it's less than 65%, then you are rejected, thus you lose. If your rival's meter is higher than yours, you find that your rival has already confessed, and thus you lose.

Other Stuff/Mod and AU Stuff

Minus: Sakura Days is an RPG in the Minus universe known as "Secret of Sakura". Kenji is the main protagonist and a swordsman while the rest are his party members (Satoru being a mage, Makoto being a ranger, Naomi being a bard, Akane being a rogue, and Midori being a healer).

D-Side: Sakura Days is a fighting game in the D-Sides universe known as "A FUCKING FIGHTING GAME" (yes, that is what it's called canonically). Sensei is a martial arts teacher (rest TBA).

Differences between him and Blaze

- His blazer is long sleeved instead of short sleeved (basically swapping with Matilda in terms of jacket sleeve length)

- Where Blaze is into all things spooky and horror, Blaine is more into mystery and detective stuff. Halloween is still his favorite holiday, but he's not as obsessed with it as Blaze is.

- Not as short-tempered as Blaze is. Is more of a "I'm not mad, just disappointed" guy if that makes sense. Also has a bit more of a "party guy" personality (think Geoff from Total Drama)

- Where Blaze loves mac and cheese as her favorite food, Blaine's favorite food is lasagna 

- Blaze is the better singer, Blaine is the better dancer

- Blaine's cat is a female tuxedo (black and white) cat named Chocolate.

- Unlike his female counterpart, who's mom is dead, his dad is alive! Though unfortunately, they got divorced when he was young. When he was kid, he lived with his mother Jenny and they moved to the UK after the divorce. He still sees is dad every so often, mainly on holidays.

To go along with her materialism; Patty tends to be possessive of her personal belongings, and doesn’t trust others with them for any reason. She’s also pretty selfish, as while she does have the ability to grant the wishes of others, she doesn’t unless she’s forced to.

That, and if she were to grant someone’s wish, she’d twist it. As she has a rather twisted sense of humor and irony. It also should be noted that she does not always speak in rhyme

Trivia/Additional Information

Patricia’s first name is a female version of the name of “Patrick”, as in Saint Patrick’s Day. Her last names comes from a town in Ireland, in Leprechaun 2, Lubdan calls himself the “Genius of Killarney”. Her birthday is March 8th. The month of course comes from the month Saint Patrick's Day is in but the day comes from the release date of the first Leprechaun movie. This makes her a Pisces. Patricia’s voiceclaim is Jennifer Hale, who voices Fanny Fulbright/Numbuh 86 from Codename: Kids Next Door.

Born to Queen Morgan and King Peridot, Princess Beryl is the, well, princess of the Crystal Isles, a kingdom situated on an archipelago where gems are as common as leaves on trees, as well as the home of the Bixbites.

The kingdom, and the family, experienced years of prosperity and peace…until the unfortunate passing of the queen, her mother. This loss affected the princess and the king…but especially the king. He was wracked with grief, the touch of the grim reaper left a hole in his heart.

One day, the king had an idea; What if he could create a paradise for him and his daughter? A world that could bow to their whim, a world that would allow them and their people to move on from the pain of losing Emeralda and grow beyond the prosperity they had.

To do this would take drastic measures, starting with using The Onyx; a gem once buried away due to it's dark powers and corrupting influence. While it was able to make the dream come true, it wasn't long until it consumed his mind, filling it with the greediest and cruelest of ambitions.

One by one, Peridot went from kingdom to kingdom, using the Onyx to turn the denizens to stone when they failed to comply with his demands. Each kingdom another part of this "paradise". If he had his way, the Crystal Isles would be THE kingdom, the only kingdom.

While Beryl was hesitant to stop him out of fear, she eventually mustered up the courage to nip the plan right in the bud. She was able to do this with the help of Princess Peach, who she saved during Peridot's invasion of the Mushroom Kingdom.

The final scuffle ended with Peridot turning into stone himself. Peridot’s current state is in a secret room in the treasury. A stark reminder of what could happen if Beryl gets too ambitious, too greedy..

Personality

Beryl holds an air of politeness, compassion, generosity, and kindness. As any ruler should be, Beryl cares greatly for her people and those she's fond of, and will do whatever it takes to make sure they are safe and happy.

Beryl does tend to be quite the anxious sort, usually about how others view her and the wellbeing of her friends, her people, and her kingdom. Resulting in hesitation at best, and panic at worst. While she is not exactly shrinking violet, she can be considered quite sheepish, not to mention easily stressed and overwhelmed.

However, make no mistake, when the going gets tough, Beryl will bring out her stern and assertive side. She also have passion for creative expressions, mainly art and fashion. 

Abilities

Beryl's abilities, outside of standard Mario powerups, all stem from her bracelet. The bracelet is able to harness the power of the Crystal Isle's most powerful gemstones, ones imbued with the elements. There are seven gemstones in her possession, each of them with a unique ability.

Emerald

Imbued with the essence of Emerald Valley's plant life. The Emerald allows its user to heal over time so long as the gem is activated and has enough Luster (power, once it runs out it has to go on cooldown. Sorta like the vibe meter from Super Princess Peach but slowly regenerating over time). It also has the power to reverse Peridot's Onyx magic, allowing Peach and Beryl to rescue Bixbites who's failed attempt to stop Peridot led them to turn to stone.

Topaz

Imbued with the essence of Topaz Trail's crisp autumn breeze. The Topaz allows its user to float slowly to the ground from a fall (Think like Alice's floating ability in Alice Madness Returns). It can be used over time so long as the gem is activated and has enough Luster.

Amethyst

Imbued with the essence of Amethyst's Grotto's paranormal energy. The Amethyst allows the user to "possess" (i.e control) enemies (think like Ghost Kirby from Squeak Squad). It can be used over time so long as the gem is activated and has enough Luster. It has no direct effect on bosses or those with "strong wills".

Pearl

Imbued with the essence of Garnet Lagoon's refreshing waves. The Pearl allows its user to create and manipulate water with their hands, which lets Peach and Beryl use said water as projectiles or use in puzzles. It consumes a bit of Luster each time it's used.

Sapphire

Imbued with the essence of Sapphire Snowpeak's frosty icicles. The Sapphire allow its user to create a shield to block enemy attacks or obstacles like falling icicles. It can be used over time so long as the gem is activated and has enough Luster. It is also ineffective when faced with fire attacks or obstacles.

Spinel

Imbued with the essence of Spinel Skyway's puffy clouds. The Spinel allows its user to gain an extra jump. It consumes a bit of Luster each time it's used.

Ruby

Imbued with the essence of Mount Rubyburn's searing fire. The Ruby allows its user to dash at high speeds with the force of a burning flame. It consumes a bit of Luster each time it's used.

Decided to redesign my Alice!Jacob (BF) design from my BF in Funkin'land AU, which I also decided to reboot/redesign it as well. 

What I mean by that is that the story of the AU will be changed, as well as the addition of a few more character. Inspired by the Sonic Storybook Series, I came to the idea to do more with the story, and not just stick with the 1951 movie with FNF characters in it. Not to fret though, Most roles from the original will stay the same from the old version of course (Aside from one, which is the Cheshire Cat, now played by Blaze rather than Annie). 

As for the redesign. I decided to change his hat from a backwards baseball cap to a black newsboy cap, since I think that fits better with the fancier outfit (that and Newsboy caps are one of my favorite hats). I changed the color to a more standard blue instead of a light blue. Changed the pants from long pants to shorts. added black and white striped socks (practically a requirement in my Alice designs), changed the black and white sneakers to sneaker boots, and added pockets to his apron (dunno why I didn't add them earlier...). I also removed the stitches from the apron and lines on the sleeves. Just didn't sit right with me.

So the newest trailer for Princess Peach Showtime revealed the last few costumes and I gotta say....AAAAAAAAAAAAH! Call me Bowser, cause I'm craving them peaches! Anyways, given the idea behind the outfit transformations, there's lots of ideas that haven't been explored in the canon game. 

Of course, I wanted to throw a few of my ideas out there; here is one of them: Secret Agent Peach! While I can't say much on how the gameplay would probably be like since the game's not out yet; I do imagine it to be similar to Ninja Peach and Dashing Thief Peach, but with and added puzzle mechanic of having to use gadgets to sneak by foes, hack and disable devices, and escape precarious situations!

(I also tried to replicate the Super Princess Peach look)

Does Bf and Senpai know that Gf, her parents and Blaze are demons?

Also has they ever seen Gf and Blaze use their demon magic or transform into their demon forms?

Indeed they do! I like to think that Jacob (Boyfriend) didn't initially know about the demon thing with Amber (Girlfriend) and her family. But eventually put two-and-two together. I mean with parents with purple skin and red glowing eyes, not exactly easy to cover that all up.

Both Jacob and Amber are aware Blaze is a demon. They first met her when she was in her demon form while she was on a rampage.

Jacob has not seen Amber's demon form, nor the full extent of their powers...yet. The only power he has seen her use is the ability to summon the speakers anywhere (so they don't have to lug them around everywhere). Both have seen Blaze's form and some of her powers (pyrokinesis and flight, mainly).

On Kenji's (Senpai) side of things, he knows Blaze is a demon, she flat out told him (reluctantly, due to...negative experiences with that information about her coming to light let's just say).

He has seen Blaze use her powers as well. She used a demonic ritual to get Kenji out of the game and into the real world. He's also seen her demon form, flight, and fire powers. Which he witnessed when Blaze used her powers to protect him and the others from the Lemon Demon.

Kenji and Blaze were eventually told that Amber and her family are demons as well, but they've never seen Amber's powers or form either...at least not yet.

Dream Walking Yume has the ability to enter the dreams of others, as long as the dreamer is asleep. Dream Eating Like all Baku, Yume is capable of devouring the dreams of others, which usually results in whoever is dreaming to suddenly wake up.

Yume maintains a carefree and laid-back demeanor, barely if ever raising her voice or worrying about this and that. She’s also honest, and values self-care and healthy habits (such as her dislike for caffeine and all-nighters.). Overall, Yume just likes to chill. However, she can be inattentive at times, being either distracted or simply not paying attention, usually through daydreaming. She also tends to sound rather monotone in speech, making it difficult to discern her exact feelings when speaking.

Trivia/Additional Information

Yume's name means "dreaming nightmare eater". As "Yume" translates to "dream" or "dreaming". Her last name is a portmanteau of "Akumu" meaning "nightmare", and "Taberu" meaning "eat". Yume’s voiceclaim is Jenny Yokobori, who voices Elice from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon as she appears in Fire Emblem Heroes. Her pet being a Tapir is a reference to how Baku are often portrayed in modern media, its name “Neru” is just “Sleep” in Japanese. Yume’s birthday is April 6th. This comes from Goroawase, as April is the fourth month and “4” translates to “yo” in Japanese (in On’yomi readings). 6 is read as “ru'' in Japanese. Putting them together would make “yoru”, which means “night” in Japanese. This makes her an Aries

I’ll be honest, I don’t really want a pet. Don’t get me wrong, I like animals, it’s just that some of them tend to ruin your clothes, especially pets that shed.

Aside from fashion, I like to take relaxing walks in the woods, the more twisted the better. I also have a fondness for monochrome modern art, I have a whole folder dedicated to it on my ICoffin and everything.

Pet Peeve

Being filmed and photographed without consent. Firstly, it’s rude. Secondly, the intentions of the person filming are usually egotistical. And thirdly, I can’t count how many times my father and I have been filmed by normies while we’re going about our day.

Slender Walking (Teleportation) As a member of the undead, she is immortal Tentacle Manifestation Svetlana can manifest six tentacles from her back, she can also retract them at will. These tentacles can reach, grab, and even hurl objects. Video Distortion Svetlana’s presence often distorts the video quality of nearby cameras, though this is more of a side effect rather than something she willingly does. Slender Sense Despite not having a face, Svetlana can still see, smell, talk, and eat like any other person.

Fashion Design As the daughter of a clothing store owner, Svetlana knows more than a thing or two about fashion design, with her skills excelling in formal wear. Multitasking Thanks to her tentacles, Svetlana is able to do multiple tasks at a time.

Personality

On the whole, Svetlana is polite, sweet, and great at focusing on tasks. She’s also quite passionate, especially for her love of formal fashion design and modern art Svetlana is a bit shy, since she prefers to stay in the background, away from her peers. Less of a shrinking violet and more of a quiet carnation if you will. She also prefers to stay away from drama and fights and will often refuse to take sides in an argument, or pick a third option. That does not make a doormat however, as she can become passive-aggressive when upset with someone. Though this also means she has difficulty mustering up the courage to express the problem openly.

Svetlana’s first name is a play on “svelte”, which means skinny, or slender, if you will. Her last name means "black forest" in German. Svetlana’s voiceclaim is Cassandra Lee Morris, who voices Julia from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War as she appears in Fire Emblem Heroes. Svetlana has a bad habit of popping up near people out of nowhere and startling them. Svetlana’s birthday is June 26th. Which is the day Slender: The Eight Pages released. This makes her a Cancer. Another pet peeve of hers is bringing up “The incident”. “The incident” being that her father had to testify for the attempted murder of a girl by her two friends to “appease Slenderman”. Thankfully, Slendy was found innocent. In the MH Universe, Slenderman's actual name is Steve. The name "Slenderman" is just what humans call him.
