The Legend of Hana Chapter 142

Warnings: angst? It isn't fluff but I don't know if it can be considered angst

Rating: SFW

Back in Quadratum, Sora, Oswald and the Spirits discussed a plan on how to save Hana and defeat the Master of Masters once and for all, but it seemed that no matter what they came up with, there would always be something in the way. Sora paced while thinking and suddenly, a light bulb came into his head.

“What if we contacted Hana through her mind? Like through a dream?” he suggested, turning to face the others.

“That…might just work,” Kumiko replied.

“But how do we know it’ll work? For all we know, the Master of Master’s has some sort of bond in her mind,” Celina retorted.

“Well, I’ve been able to contact Hana through dreams before. It’s how we met actually,” Sora responded, seeming confident about his plan. Celina and the other Spirits, including Lily, were skeptical of this plan. But seeing how confident Sora was in his plan, they eventually agreed to it.

“So, how is this going to work? Do you just fall asleep and somehow talk to Hana?” Kumiko asked.

“Pretty much. But since we’re in a dire situation, I’m going to need something that can help me fall asleep faster,” Sora replied.

“Hmm, I think there’s some melatonin here somewhere. If not, then I can run down to the pharmacy that’s across the street,” Diana said. Sora and Lily were confused as to what melatonin was since that didn’t exist back home, but Sora figured it was going to help him fall asleep faster. Diana searched throughout the apartment and soon found a bottle of melatonin gummies. Sora took a couple of the gummies and laid down in bed where he then fell asleep.

“Let’s hope this works,” Lily said and sat down next to him to keep an eye on him.

Walking around the city of Quadratum, Luna and the girls took note of the many tall buildings and the different cars, along with the many people walking the streets and driving their cars. It was very different from what they were used to back home. Though, it reminded the girls of San Fransokyo when they were adventuring with Sora and co.

“Is this where Hana and Lily are?” Luna asked.

“Must be. Let’s hope we find them in time,” Mukuro responded. They continued to walk through the city, taking in the sights and keeping an eye out for anything that seemed strange to them. Though it seemed that the people of Quadratum were looking at them weird for they were not from here and dressed in their Spirit wear.

“Why is everyone staring at us?” Olette asked.

“I-It’s probably b-because we’re i-in our Spirit f-form,” Aine said.

“Hmm, you’re right. We need disguises so that we don’t make it obvious we’re on a rescue mission,” Luna said.

“If only I had my sewing machine with me, I would’ve been able to make disguises very quickly,” Roxy sighed. They looked through the many shops until they found a clothing store. They went in and all of them changed into their disguises.

“Now that we have disguises, what now? I mean, how exactly are we gonna find Hana, Sora, and Lily? This city is huge!” Yui said.

“Guess it’s time we start looking for clues,” Rumi said. And so, Luna and the girls began to search through Quadratum in hopes of finding Hana, Sora, and Lily.

Behold, my OC, Slate's Keyblade!

As for Slate herself, this is the closest I could get to her appearance in Union Cross;

In reality, the yellow circle thing isn't there, the scarf also functions as a hoodie when need be, and her clothes are morning grey, not white.

Of course, there's more to it than that. I imagine her outfit also being a mix of these two;

Slate is recompleted after Xehanort's defeat, the dark seeker having unintentionally turned himself and the true organization into her nobody and heartless respectively. Believing everyone she thinks she knew to either be dead or amnesiac, Slate leaves Scala ad Caelum(where she rematerialized) to find somewhere new to live.

The truth of her existence is more complicated than that.

1/13/2024. Yesterday, unboxed Nendoroid Aqua. And though there was an empty spot in my display boxes for 1 more Nendoroid, i decided to rearrange multiple cases instead.

Ive been meaning to rearrange my Michaels display cases to better reflect my updated favorite figures. Moved Kill la Kill Nendoroids to tgeir iwn display case (with Lina and Catarina).

Moved all my unboxed Kingdom Hearts Nendoroids so far, from my display cabinet, to a display case. I realized that after i unbox Axel and Kairi, I'll have 10 Kingdom Hearts Nendoroids, so they probably should get thir own display case. After unboxing Aqua, there's no more room on my current KingdomHearts shelf" in my display cabinet. But these Michaels display cases can hold 10 Nendoroids, so my Kingdom Hearts Nendoroids are sharing with my Sengoku Basara Nendoroids. DateSana still my favorite Nendoroids, and my Michaels display cases are supposed to hold my favorites. I love that Kingdom Hearts has Nendoroids now, but they're not actually my favorite Nendoroids. But my Michaels display cases, usually for my favorites, are the only cases with that much space for 10 Nendoroids, all from tge same series.

Left empty spots for Nendoroids Axel and Kairi, that have been waiting in my room to be unboxed.

I was about to move my Spy x Family Nendoroids to my thrift store display cabinet, but i decided to leave them in their current display case, becase there's an empty spot beside Loid, that would fit Nendoroid Bond, after i preorder him.

Finally reunited my Homura Nendoroids with my Nendoroids of Devil Homura and Ultimate Madoka. I would have liked for all my Madoka Magica Nendoroids to stay in or near my Michaels display cases, since those cases' positions in my room are the most visible, which is why they're for my favorites. But they just don't all fit there.

Gave Devil Homura a boost/display riser. Her original support arm broke a long time ago, so she's not actually as high as ahe shouid be. Which wasnt a problem before. But now i need her above my 2 other Homura Nendoroids, to stay visible.

After i broke up my group of Nendoroid sorcerers, to convert their display case to instead dedicate to Kill la Kill: Lina Inverse and Catarina Claes stayed with KLK, Ernesti Echevalier moved to the empty spot beside Donatello, and Izetta moved to my new Madoka Magika display box so she could stay visible. Izetts is very pretty. I bought her Nendoroid before even getting halfway thru her anime series.

Since my thrift store display cabinet is the most easily accessible, i tried to put my most frequently photographed Nendoroids on the shelf that used to be for my Kingdom Hearts Nendoroids. It ended up being mostly Iyashikei and characters i identify with: Frozen, Kimi ni Todoke, Natsume Yuujinchou, Nichijou.

I almost moved my Kirby Nendoroids. Right now, they have their own display case, with extra unused space. So my Kirby Nendoroids almost went to help fill my cabinet's former Kingdom Hearts shelf. But then i remembered that i have Nendoroids Waddle Dee and Meta Knight, and after i unbox them, they should to into the empty space in the Kirby display case. So i moved my Kirbys back. Theyre keeping their own display case.

The Legend of Hana Chapter 139

Warnings: More angst. You guessed it

Rating: SFW

It was dark. Sora couldn’t see anything other than pitch black darkness. Though it felt like there was something covering his face, preventing him from seeing. He heard shuffling around, meaning that there was someone else in whatever place he was in.

“Anything?” he heard a woman ask.

“Still nothing,” another woman replied. The two women heard Sora shuffle around with the covering still on his face.

“Seems like the boy is awake,” the first woman said and stood up to take Sora’s covering off his face. He winced at the change of lighting, but his eyes soon relaxed and looked at the two women. Standing in front of him was the woman who took Lily after he defeated her but he didn’t recognize the woman standing next to her. She wore a crimson dress with black frills, making her have the appearance of a gothic lolita girl with her uneven pigtails. In between them, she wore a crimson net bow to match her dress along with a crimson and black choker around her neck.

“Who are you?” Sora asked the two of them.

“We could ask you the same thing,” the first woman said. Sora then explained everything to them. Who he was and how he got here. Along with how he was on a mission to save Hana and get back to his friends. The two women looked at him in shock when he mentioned his girlfriend.

“What?” he asked. The two women looked at each other before speaking to Sora.

“Do you know the Legend of Kingdom Hearts?” the first woman asked him.

“No? Should I know it?” He then listened carefully as they explained the legend and how it may have to do with Hana. “You mean, Hana is a princess?”

“We don’t know for sure, but given what you’ve said about her, there’s a big chance,” the second woman said.

“You never introduced yourselves,” Sora commented.

“Oh, right. My name is Celina,” the first woman said. “And I’m the Siren Spirit.”

“And I’m Kumiko. The Time Spirit,” the second woman said. Just then the door burst open and Hana’s imps revealed themselves.

“Sora!” they exclaimed as they saw him. Following them was another woman, dressed in an elven-like dress, giving her the illusion of a forest fairy.

“I’m sorry! But they’re just so quick! Not even my powers could stop them!” she said.

“It’s alright, Diana. But just, who and what are they?” Celina asked. Sora was quickly untied by the imps and he stood up, while rubbing his somewhat sore wrists. He then explained who they were and how they were a part of Hana’s power, once again shocking the women in front of him.

“I’ve never seen anything like that before,” Celina said as she observed the imps. It seemed as though Sora was going to have to explain a lot to them.

After visiting Yuuko in Japan, Luna and the girls were now finding clues as to how to find Hana and Lily but unfortunately, they couldn’t find anything. They found a hidden place at a nearby park and began brainstorming ideas. But none of them would work no matter how hard they tried.

“Ugh, it’s hopeless! We’re never gonna find them!” Roxy said as she threw her head back.

“There has to be something. A clue, a hint, anything!” Yui said.

“What the fuck do you think we’ve been doing, Yui?!”

“Roxy, l-language,” Aine scolded calmly. Roxy sighed and sat down on a bench, her leg bouncing in nervousness.

“Maybe we can go see Yen Sid. I mean, he’s the one who helped Luna find me in Towa City,” Mukuro suggested.

“It’s worth a shot,” Luna agreed. Soon, the girls headed back to Yen Sid’s tower to see if he knew a way to find Hana and Lily.

Back in Quadratum, Hana sat in front of her vanity, staring blankly at the mirror. She had sat there for two days just staring at herself. Except, the only difference was her eyes. They were no longer her crystal blue. They were now a crimson red but still held no emotion in them. The time of the Queen of Darkness was approaching. Approaching fast.

13 Tips for you new KH fans to be

Want some actual advice my young fan to be? Well here’s 13~

1) Ignore the hard core fans. If you dont want to sit hours learning about interviews, don't. If it's truly important it'll be in-game or added in a later game.

2) You dont' need to play every single #kingdomhearts game in the series. Some just aren't that fun and the two movies on that 1.5 + 2.5 collection aren't that good.

Play the ones you find fun, at most, attempt to play 1 2 & 3. You can watch a video/wiki if you're confused.

3) If you played a #kingdomhearts game or two and genuinely want to try the others or follow interviews, that's fine. Just dont be a dick to those who dont. I was "one of those" fans and I dont recommend sinking that low.

4) I'll be blunt, just read the #kingdomhearts Days manga or emulate the original DS game ifyou're curious. I'll warn ya, the manga has way better writing and character moments.

You can also emulate Re:Coded. The story isn't that relevant but it's a fun DS game. Horrible movie.

5) No matter what a #kingdomhearts forum tells you, "floaty" is a legitimate issue. They're in denial or have fun despite those flaws. If it's the latter, that's understandable.

6) The #kingdomhearts 2 manga is similar to the Days one in that the characters and writing > the actual game. KH2Fm is fun to play though so it's like two good things in 2's case.1

7) Beware shippers.

8) Dont' get your hopes up for Kairi

9) My personal recommendation, a "starter pack" if you will, for a new fan is as follows: #kingdomhearts 1, 2 final mix, & 3. I'd just wiki or find videos to understand the stuff between and outside these titles. Explore further if you find something to your fancy~

10) Most of what you've heard is "fanon" due to how little most of the cast meets on screen or due to cheesy dialogue. Don't go in with some head-canons a fan spammed on a forum, twitter, or tumblr.

Keep expectation low and welcome the genuine surprises.

11) For pc players, for the love of all that is holy, get the #kingdomhearts 3 mod that turns off the "this looks like a good spot to find some INgreDIENTS".

Spare you sanity.

12) Important, #kingdomhearts mobile games are sadly canon and I do advice just looking up breakdowns or recaps on youtube. You can't even play the old game anymore and sitting through a text based novel on your phone is a time sink most lack the patience for.

13) And finally, dont' expect good villany from Xehanort because his motive changed every other game and even now his backstory is being written as the mobile game comes to a long overdue death. lol
