If there’s one thing that I find incredibly amusing it’s Cloud Strife ignoring something incredibly obvious that should be addressed because the minute he acknowledges it it becomes real and something that he needs to take care of.

Grenadier

Unfortunately, my beloved Half-Orc Fighter didn't make it very long in the campaign. But, with the death of a character comes the chance to make something new!

Enter this guy, who I'm just calling Grenadier for now. Despite being a Grenadier, he is also a spy/scout. I love the idea of a character who uses preparation and understanding to achieve victory, not just brute force.

I'm gonna be experimenting with some elemental arrow ideas, reflavoured as magic bullets that can be lobbed from his crossbow. They'll be mainly for utility rather than damage. Using the Ice to create difficult terrain, acid to reduce AC, the fire to do a little extra damage.

This character is heavily inspired by the Wayfarer class from Divinity Original Sin 2, and I wanna see if it translates well to 5e, especialy in this more combat focused game! :D

Tf2 fans, how are we feeling about mythical creature aus. Personally i LOVE them and i have my own little artworks and ideas and i just adore them AUGHH,, i love being cringe,,, ramble/art below the cut

Backstory for this pic is Scout heard that Sniper's double his size and tried to prove he's tough enough to get him off the ground, which he somehow managed.

Ive got my own assigned creatures to all of the mercs like scout being a shark merman, soldier being a minotaur, spy being a betta fish merman, etc. etc. I might post about em more soon if anyone's even interested in this, but for now i'll list them in the tags :-)

Ive set up this whole backstory about how they're all together too,, the admin is just this crazy rich gorgon lady and, in exchange for providing them protection and money, gives em specialized work. She essentially pays off the humans to ignore the workforce she's collected/the rather strange jobs they do,,

The main crew pretty much just does the same old merc work from the comics. They arent necessarily "special" despite everything i just told you. Yes, theyre creatures of myth, but there's more than enough beasts on the administrator's force to take care of those other odd jobs you might expect a mythical creature to handle. They're the same old team but mythified i suppose

Tentaspy and vampire medic are pretty common examples of this type of media and i love em both to death, but i made different versions of them for this trope. i appreciate being able to make this weird, fun, cringy artwork for myself and i hope if you've read this far you like this type of stuff too

The Lustrous Cabaret is Sigil’s newest faction, reformed in the Shattered Ward into a community of artists, actors, musicians, and authors casually known as the Mummers. Belphegor leads this wide-ranging troupe, taking on this role after her previous venture in Hell’s Embassy didn’t pay off like she had hoped.

Now an influential celebrity at the center of the universe, Belphegor encourages the members of the Lustrous Cabaret – “You too can be just like me, if you just climb the ladder and work your magic.” Whether that's true or not has yet to be seen by the aspiring performers and yet to be realized by the voracious talent scouts of the Shattered Ward.

Some, like the lounge singer Roksana, have achieved local fame – breaking the rungs of the ladder as she climbed. Others aren't so lucky, playing Sigil's many taverns and giving street performances in a sea of desperate hopefuls in feverish competition with one another.

Ideal. Influence. Power and agency let us act upon our preferences at any time, reshaping the world around us into whatever we want. The more power, the more influence.

Headquarters. Torus Theatre

Leadership. The leader and host of the Lustrous Cabaret is Belphegor, the archdevil consort of Mephistopheles.

I meant to post these more frequently, so I'm going to post a few in a row to make up for it. Eventually I want to share some maps I've made for the factions as well, and the generic NPC statblocks I've designed for the faction agents - in this case, the aspiring performer, talent scout, and ascendant star.
