How the Eldarya men would look based on my headcanons Pt. 3

Valkyon

When I posted this design of Valkyon last year someone said that he looked like a god and I couldn't agree more with them 😫🤲🏼

The first thing I decided to change in Valkyon's design was his face structure so I gave him a square face. The more I look at the design of the guys the more I realize they have very similar features, so in my design I focus on trying to change that. For Valkyon it was pretty easy ngl since I've always imagined him with very strong features: thick eyebrows, strong jawline...

I also wanted to give him fuller lips and curly hair making him resemble Tia a bit more since she is my only reference for the brothers. In my headcanon, Valkyon looks way more like their mom and Lance like their father.

I also added a couple of scars to him, but overall I didn't change more things.

I really hope you liked him jeje next one will be Leiftan (hopefully tomorrow)

Ezarel didn’t celebrate Valentine's Day. Before his relationship with Y/N, he thought it was a shallow day. In his opinion, a loved one should be shown affection on more than just one particular day. He looked with contempt at couples who competed with each other to see who would give the bigger bouquet to their loved ones. Deep down inside, however, little Ez spoke to him. 

As a child, he looked up to his parents and their relationship with admiration. He remembered well how his parents gave each other small, symbolic objects. Small gestures were the most important. Valentine's Day looked similar, but it had something special about it. Thinking about it, the day of lovers, when he was a little boy and barely tied his own shoelaces, came to his mind. For about a week, Ezarel practically saw his father in general. As the royal alchemist, he had little free time, but he always found a moment to at least tell him about the plants and their properties. The boy was angry with his father for the way he treated him and his mother. He saw that his mother also felt the absence of her husband. However, Valentine's Day surprised him. On that day, he witnessed a scene that was memorable to him. His mother received from his father, a beautiful painting depicting their family. Little Ez then decided that he too would treat his other half this way.  

The period before his first Valentine's Day in a serious relationship was very stressful for him. As a child, he thought a lot about this moment. He remembered his parents telling him to take care of his future partner and put his heart into everything he would do for that person. Now, however, he had no idea what he could arrange. After all, he was just a simple alchemist without much interest. He had once dabbled in a bit of art, thanks to his parents, but that had been in the past. If he gave his beloved a sculpture made by him now, they would probably hide it deep in the closet so that they would not have to look at it. The poem is also out. The only things he can write now are recipes for various potions and alchemical notes. He squirmed with embarrassment at the thought of singing a song he had written. Not everyone has an artistic hand.  

Valentine's Day came before he knew it. From the very morning, he was running around HQ trying to think what he could give his beloved. Time was passing at a dizzying pace for him. The day definitely didn’t bring the expected results. Ezarel had nothing. Almost nothing. Angry at himself and tired, he headed to his lab.

The elf carefully opened a glass case in a separate room that only he had access to. From it, he took out a bouquet of nine red roses. He sighed disappointedly looking at the flowers. Nine roses. "I want to be with you forever." That would have to be the karma that got him for how he used to view couples on lovers' day. Now all he was left with was the hope that his beloved would appreciate the gesture.  

He slowly walked towards his partner's room. He wanted to delay this moment in time as much as possible. They won't like it. They will laugh at him. Intrusive thoughts occupied the elf's head.  

He took a deep breath in and out to calm himself as much as possible. His own heartbeat drummed in his ears. He knocked uncertainly on the door. Silence.  

Valentine's Day occupied his thoughts so much that he unconsciously avoided them. They’re probably angry and won't even accept these dang flowers.

The elf's panic grew by the second.  

- Ezarel, here you are. It's been a while since we last met. Don't you think you owe me an explanation?  

The blue-haired man jumped away from the door he had been standing in front of. He looked surprised at his amused partner. Their eyes were staring at him. Beautiful eyes that he could stare into for hours. The smile on their face made the panic completely disappear. Ezarel walked up to his beloved.

His gaze rested on the flowers.  

- I'm sorry I've been avoiding you. I wanted to organize something for THIS DAY, but I overestimated my abilities. These flowers look ridiculous next to you. They seemed beautiful before, but now that I look at you... - Ezarel lifted his gaze and momentarily melted into his beloved's eyes. - They seem pale. You have dimmed their beauty. I wanted to do something to make this Valentine's Day special, sorry. I brought you roses. Nine red roses are the symbol of eternal love. I decided to finally use my skills as a GREAT alchemist. These roses will never wilt. You understand, eternal love and the eternal roses that symbolize it... You are a very special person. I still wonder how it happened that you chose me. I'm a lucky man.

Ezarel was convinced that he was now as red as a peony. He felt like a teenager in love who can't see the world outside his loved one.  

He grunted and handed the flowers to his partner with confidence.  

- You are about to have a wonderful and unforgettable date with the wonderful, smartest, most handsome, funniest and best elf alchemist. So...will you be my Valentine?

Tho, if he sees that they are in need of one, he won't doubt in comforting them with the first thing that comes to his mind. A hug.

His hugs are comfortable, quick, and they make them feel his support towards them.

But when it comes to his dearest, he will hug them if they're afraid, to protect them and reassure them, Or if they are sad and need to be comforted.

In all circumstances where he could see that they feel bad, he would hug them to show them comfort and to reassure them and make sure they feel better and supported.

Lance

Not a big fan of hugs, but he hugs his loved ones.

He'd hug them tightly because he loves them, and he'd do so because he wants them to feel loved and close to him.

He wants to show them how much they mean to him at that moment. Likewise, he wants them to know that they're not alone and that He's there for them in whatever way they need. He wants them to feel understood and supported.

He loves to embrace them closely when he hug them. Not only that, but he likes to hold them to his body and feel their warmth against his.

Likes to caress them while they hug as well to show his affection and desire to connect with them. He also loves to look into their eyes as they hug each other. It feels very warm and comforting to share such an intimate moment with someone he cares about.

Valkyon headcanons part 2.

Because he's still my favorite dragon and there's still nobody to stop me

- He likes to read even if he hasn't got much time for reading

- He loves all kinds of spicy food so once Karuto made the whole lunch spicy on his birthday. It turned out basically only the two of them were capable of handling the extreme spices and Val was surprised when his friends almost died after tasting it.

- Floppy used to love climbing onto his bed when she was younger and he was constantly worried about accidentally crushing her to death

- He had body dysmorphia for a long time because he had always been taller and bigger than the others - even Lance - thanks to his fire dragon genes (Lance was the skinny one because ice dragons are designed that way)

- Thinks about his brother a lot, sometimes in the evenings, in the silence of his room he gets really emotional and cries a bit about his family (poor baby:cc )

- Definition of overprotective and loyalty. If you are part of his found family, one of his close friends or guard members, he's going to protect you with his life and he's dead serious about this. He ain't gonna let down another person close to him.

How the Eldarya men would look based on my headcanons Pt. 1

I don't know if anyone remembers but last year I made a couple of "redesigns" of Valkyon y Nevra (well technically also Ez but I'm always posting him lol), well I decided to revisit those designs and also do one for Leiftan and Lance just to have the whole crew of TO (They are just going to be busts btw, I don't have enough energy nor time to make a full body for each character 😔)

I'm going to make individual posts for each guy where I will explain a little bit my design choices and all of that. So let's start :D

Ezarel

There you have my design for Ezarel 🤲🏼🩵 Most of you probably have already seen him since I can't stop drawing him orz

Let's talk a little about his design.

The most noticeable changes I made were to his hair. I decided to change his hair color to a darker shade and also changed his hairstyle. I gave him different bangs and also made him have a high ponytail as his regular hairstyle instead of his original low ponytail.

I also gave him freckles. I headcanon Ez to have very sensitive skin, so the moment he steps out in the sun freckles start to appear across his face, ears and shoulders. And he HATES it. Elves are seen as these very beautiful and flawless creatures and in Ez's eyes he sees his freckles as flaws.

As a more minor detail, I gave Ezarel some gold jewelry because he looks very pretty with it.

ELDARYA: The boys taking care of a sick Guardian—ANE.

Leiftan

He would be very careful with them, since he values them a lot. He would take care of them like they were his own family -actually, they are like his only family there- because he wouldn't like to lose someone he cares a lot for.

Leiftan would take care of them until he's sure that they recovered completely.

He often takes their temperature, gives them water because it's very important to regularize their body temperature, prepares them soups or food with vitamins and the proportions of nutrients that they need.

He tends to spend his day around them, so he usually catches colds, temperatures, sore throats, etc.

Lance

He'd take care of them and tend to them until they get better.

He is very caring, would make sure they get the best treatment they deserve.

Not only that, but he'd make sure they are comfortable and give them the time they need to rest and recover if I can. He'll try to do what's best for them because they are precious to him.

He would also give them some tips he uses to be healthier and recover quickly when sick: “I eat a balanced diet; I try to exercise regularly; I always get enough sleep; I avoid stressful situations; and I try to maintain good mental health. I also try to practice good hygiene; I get my regular checkups; and I try to be mindful of my health overall. It's important to take care of yourself and to be healthy, so you can feel your best and live your best life”.

Mathieu

He'd make sure they got lots of rest, soup, blankets, medication, and lastly but not less essential, plenty of care and attention.

If he sees that he is incapable of “treating them”, the first thing he will do is comfort them. He would check their temperature, and he would grab his first aid kit. He would try to make a warm or cold compress for them (depending on the situation) he would make sure they're getting enough rest and getting enough food and water, and he would get in contact with a doctor.

Nevra

He would, of course, nurse them himself. He would make them a hot soup and make everything comfortable for that person.

Not only that, but he can't stand the sight of anyone sick. He would do his best to help them until they feel better.

He always advises people he cares about with these words: “Don't work too much. Eat healthy. Don't skip meals. And get a good amount of sleep. Those are some of the most important things. I'd also recommend that you find some free time to do the things that you love. It will clear your mind and motivate you, making you feel better overall.”

Valkyon headcanons #1

because he's my favorite dragon and nobody can stop me

He's a deep sleeper

His handwriting is beautiful, which could be surprising at first but if you think about it, smithing requires meticulous handwork sometimes so it's logical

Every morning Floppy is the one waking him up (or his s/o)

He's able to make some kind of dragon noises in his human form too, meaning annoyed growls and snorts are long since a part of his nonverbal communication

He only uses curse words in the ancient dragons' language

His belly is extremely sensitive, he only let's his s/o to touch it and always makes satisfied, happy dragon noises whenever they do

Maintaining his human form costs more energy for him than transforming to dragon, his "illness" in Memoria was because of the exhaustion, trying to hide his true self for so long

His normal body temperature is higher than most faeries and humans, it's always around 38-40 C°

He and Lance basically can't "get a cold", they can only get sick because of some kind of negative change in their maana-system

But when he does get sick his temperature will go down instead of up, so if it's around 36 C° , it's like humans having a fever

He smells like a cozy fireplace on a summer evening, you know, something like the smell of heat

He uses the same shampoo as his brother
