And here I was reading the comment section of bee's insta, after hundreds of comments on NG (and lots of fun) I saw the post for Eric's birthday. I was struck by secondhand embarassment to see that a reasonable amount of the comments are in my language and are rather unpleasing.

I have no proof, but no doubts either, that at least half of those comments come from people who had changed their crush from Valk/Ezarel to Mr "I murdered my brother/I almost killed your elf boyfriend";

Or created one account for each LI in NG, and most likely their main acc is Mr "I'll destroy you" (that's what I see on forum and discord at least)

But sooomehow they get mad at Eric XD Talk about hypocrisy in this fandom lmao

The man was probably the only one to throw each one of Jaime's snarky remarks back at him. Robb Stark at his peak, this one is probably my fave scene. Actually, most of my favourite scenes are related to the Starks, except the ones with Oberyn.

Visiting the companion page again and, maaan, I miss the old times, companions were so more... idk, captivating, I guess?

I remember I beamed with joy when I got lovigiss in valentine's day with Leif. Then the chaos trying to get rowtsya in the following year with Ashkore. And also fandom wondering when fenrisulfr would be availabe, and how braukwin was graceful and cute.

Now I visit Eldarya only to see if someone's selling any adult companion I don't have yet, so I can hatch and complete my dex faster. Oh well, nostalgia vibes.

Reading finished. Now, I get the feeling that more than just leaving, Danika left the company and took some corporative secrets with her, similar to that film "13 going 30" when the protagonist realizes that she was the one leaking critical info to the rival company.

It would explain Roy's fury towards Danika: betraying his bff's trust + and could be a reason to call Jason a 'thief', they've suffered a heavy blow because of her departure+leaking.

I can't help thinking that sooner or later, Devenementiel will go bankrupt. Even the script indirectly says it thrice:

-with Jason stating they will be ruined till the end of the year;

-when the client says, in other words, that Goldreamz's work was better, but he refused it because Devon's was cheaper. (corrected, my bad lol)

-when Devon says something about how he prefers taking a bit longer to deliver things with quality. I agree with someone who said that one can't force the client to change the planned day of an event just because of his approach. They look for another, but what do I know, huh? Fiction after all lol

The company is scripted to fail from the start, but 80% sure that Castiel will save the company in the end, because he's the mascot, ofc he'll make a cameo 😂

I watched a video with a guy that worked with Wagner Moura in order to prepare him for his role in Elite Squad 1, and there's a part I find fascinating.

Wagner had just become a father, then the tutor asked him what would he do to protect his family. Wagner answered "anything".

The tutor asked if he would die for them, Wagner answered yes.

Then the tutor asked him "would you KILL to save your family?", that was the moment Wagner hesitated, kinda shocked and his behavior showed signs he wanted to flee/avoid the situation. Wagner is probably the most docile actor we have and the tutor said in the video how complicated it was to turn him into Cpt Nascimento because of that.

But after that question, the tutor found a weak point in him and exploited it in order to prepare Wagner for the role. And that was how Cpt Nascimento was born.

There are characters who would die for their family, and there are characters who would kill for them. And I like to apply this logic to BoS as well, at first Seihai was the type of character who would kill for her goals, even with her sort of death after Valkyon's death and Lance's defeat. And now with Tenjin she was forced to suppress this skill for she doesn't need it anymore, for Tenjin does it in her stead.

But I hope to consolidate her kill for my goals -> die for them transition smoothly, Tenma will probably be the highest point of this change of hers.

Alright, let's think of bloodshed as a mean, but why would he spill blood?

Ouroboros (alright not exactly ouroboros, because the format here is like an 8, but the idea is the same: eternity.

Ouroboros is usually represented by the circle, which seems to indicate, in addition to the eternal return, the spiral of evolution, the sacred dance of death and reconstruction. -

In another, less manichean interpretation, the serpent breaks a linear evolution by biting its tail, marking a change, so it seems to emerge on another level of existence, symbolized by the circle.

To sum things up: ouroboros somewhat reinforces fan-theories about Leander. Ouroboros is connected with life-death metaphors, control over life and death, eternity. And if we consider the egyptian view on the matter (ouroboros as representation of Ra's descent to the underworld), the crypts are like underworld for Leander.

Not to mention that circular form of the Ouroboros matches the cathedral (?) glasswindow we see on trailer. Another level of existence = the transcendent level that he tried to reach through blind faith in Senobium, but for whatever reason, he was forsaken, maybe because the Senobium got tired of playing with him and discarded him (because tbh, what does he have of interesting to them if we compare him with, yk, Ais or Kuras? No matter hoe skilled he was, if he was a hunter/murderer for those guys before, probably he was replaced with Vere).

And considering his name, I wonder who does he want to bring back to life. Leander in greek mythology crossed a river everyday to see his beloved, I wonder if the same happens with our good boy here, decided to cross the styge, the river of the underworld, just to see his dearest person again.

(plot-twist: I was fooled and everything I wrote is nonsense, because truth is that he just got butthurt from being kicked out by the Senobium and went full "anything you do, I can do better" mode, just to get back at them and develop something that not even the Senobium managed to do yet.)

It's bizarre how in Eldarya, Leiftan and the dragon brothers were left alive to testify the wonderful world created by their races. But seems like their families weren't smart enough to realize that there was no way this'd work out lol

I mean, at least according to what we're told, the daemons killed the aengels before they can go sacrifice-mode, meaning that when they're killed I imagine there was a short gap of time until faerys realized the aengels death and the treason. (unless the aengel sacrifice happened after the dragon's so when faerys realized it was too late, which is kinda ???)

And you allow your children to live in this world where your race is seen as either a sacrificial lamb (any dragonkin), or a traitor (Leiftan)? In this short gap of time they could have changed their minds and taken their kids with them because tbt, ancient dragon was total trash in his task of taking care of his grandchildren.

Well, considering how tumblr is not a safeplace for artists anymore for AI reasons, I won't post here directly, so here's the grown-up fanart version of our sweet boi Tenma!

Growing up isolated somewhere in Genkaku with his mom during the his first years, he's the first to crack Seihai's shell when it comes to her lack of maternal instincts. A main part of this process happened when he was still a baby: after trying everything she could to stop him from crying, Seihai went full breakdown mode and yelled at him to shut up, before Seihai herself started crying. He did stop, before quietly crawling towards her.

Yeah, I admit maternity issues kinda ruined Seihai's girl powaa vibes, but that's the point. She's all about "I'm fine on my own, I need no one", but without Erika in Eel and Leiftan in Genkaku, she'd be still trapped in Genkaku's politics instead of tackling her real goal in the north. And the moment she realizes baby Tenma wanted to comfort her in her breakdown, she knows she has someone to rely on now, Tenma needs her more than she needs him, yet he was more considerate than Tenjin who dropped her there (it's been a long time since his last visit that originated Tenma, she even starts doubting it had ever happened).

The boy grows loving to pick up herbs and plants with his mom and that's the reason why his arms are full of scratches, it's his favourite part of the day, most part of their bond was thanks to this kind of quality time with him (poor boi didn't realize that while he was picking herbs, Seihai was looking for food, yet their meal time has always been nice anyway ): ) At least until Tenjin shows up and takes him from her. The red marks are the marks of his power that the religious leaders kinda forced him to manifest, like, a dumb sign of protection that they came up with to avoid losing him like Tennoh)

As a ficwriter, I see the most subtle and 'show, don't tell' way of a guy expressing his opinion on women and their place in society here.

And the third and last part of the challenge is here, yay! I liked it, despite the lack of options for a character that now lives in Genkaku, some questions gave ideas!

Day 21: You've received an invitation to Eel's masquerade ball. Dresscode: elegant look. Take out your ball gowns and masks!

Probably my favourite, just imagine this outfit in japanese style. I imagine Seihai wearing it + a potion to give her ears and tails when she visits the ball where Tenjin is gonna choose his new bride amongst the kitsune nobility. And they somehow find one another, he knows it's her, so close but so far away at the same time, he can't even touch her for he knows he might uncover her secret and risk her life. At least before they dance and FINALLY KISS! Like, I was reading and rumor has it that it's easier to make a woman be madly interested in a guy if he's good at hitting her weak spots, iykwim, and make her brain produce the hormones responsible for pleasure, it's somewhat addictive. Seihai acknowledges that Tenjin makes her feel that way (and her jealousy) only now in chapter 47, so imagine how long will it take for them to kiss in a ball. More than 50 chapters for a damn kiss, heeeeelp!

Day 22: Head to the Land of the Humans: Dress your Guardian up in a 21st-century outfit as they would dress in the human world.

Do you mind if I use Candy's base here? Eldarya has no human clothes that match Seihai. She hates humans, she would never have a reason to go to Earth, she does this only once to save Leiftan, so she needs an outfit that helps her move quickly, freely, AND MOST OF ALL, hide her body marks.

Day 23: Till death do us part: Dress up as a bride or bridesmaid!

The closest I could get from her wedding dress, thanks bee, for your fifty shades of white and all-over-the-place textures.

Day 24: You've been promoted to the Light Guard. You will lead the Guard of Eel for a day: Show us how your dignified Guardian commands authority!

Day 25: Potion of Genderbending: Dress like a man! (If your Guardian is a man, turn him into a woman.)

Day 26: A Day at the Astrologer: Dress up your Guardian accordingly as their or your zodiac sign!

According to Astrology, I'm libra so I tried to turn her into a statue. Her eyes are closed not because of the western logic of justice, but because she knows that everyone and everything can be twisted, even justice, depending on who is holding the sword (aka, who has the power). If justice is manipulated by the most powerful, then it's not justice, therefore, the weakest should also be allowed to act upon what it's justice in their opinions. They must also have a chance to fight using the resources at their disposal.

Day 27: Introduce your Guardian's sibling/s! (If they don't have any, show us what the sibling/s would have looked like if the Guardian had had any.)

I don't like the idea of Seihai having siblings, but I'm pretty sure she would be the kind of protective older sister that would certainly be betrayed by her brainless sister, who would fall for the Erika's logic of mercy.

Day 28: Potion of Race changing: Dress up as a different race.

Oh yeah, a succubus matches her quite well lmao In general her clothes aren't that modest, but that's not the reason I see her as a succubus. I see her like one mainly because her negative behavior towards HH is overwhelming, she drains other people's energy and ruins the mood like a succubus does.

Day 29: The Chiefs of the Guard are forming a band: What position would your character occupy in this band? Show us!

I wasn't creative here at all, whatever. She's not even a singer, she prefers dancing.

Day 30: The Eldaryan Moon Festival is nigh: Dress for the occasion!

Again, the lack of japanese-style clothing ruined the vibe, so here's the closest I could get from what I've imagined.

Still on the forgiveness =/= redemption theme, probably the only character who could forgive another, regardless of the gravity of the crime in any story is a Priest/Priestess for they're already forged to serve as support characters, healing spells etc. Healing mental conditions of others is piece of cake for them.

The other character classes would probably "forgive" by beating the shit out of the them. I hardly believe that even the Paladin would refuse to join the gang if it were someone dear to him, and even if he did forgive the crime, he would never recover from the "I have no choice but to forgive, refusing to do so won't bring my loved one back" righteous mindset.
