Valkyon headcanons part 2.

Because he's still my favorite dragon and there's still nobody to stop me

- He likes to read even if he hasn't got much time for reading

- He loves all kinds of spicy food so once Karuto made the whole lunch spicy on his birthday. It turned out basically only the two of them were capable of handling the extreme spices and Val was surprised when his friends almost died after tasting it.

- Floppy used to love climbing onto his bed when she was younger and he was constantly worried about accidentally crushing her to death

- He had body dysmorphia for a long time because he had always been taller and bigger than the others - even Lance - thanks to his fire dragon genes (Lance was the skinny one because ice dragons are designed that way)

- He's a kind soul, when there's a very strong sunlight he does the part of Nevra's work that would involve going outside so the vampire doesn't have to burn his skin. Also he occasionally brings important alchemy ingredients for Ezarel when coming back from missions.

"You" squad

Valkyon He has to do night patrol, so he goes to bed almost at dawn. Knowing how hard he works, you are careful to not disturb his sleep. Valkyon finds it hard to sleep when you are not there, so you keep him company for some time even after waking up. Somehow, it comforts you seeing him sleeping so peacefully.

Lance He is the same as Valkyon, he stays up for night patrol and joins you at bed until dawn. That is the only reason why you wake up first most of the days. He loves the nights when he doesn't have to work and can rest next to you. In those ocassions, even if you wake up first, he will not let you go and it is a bad idea to struggle against him, he gets in a bad mood when he is woken up suddenly.

Mathieu You have to be creative to wake up Mathieu, he always oversleeps. If you try to wake him up, he will whine or ignore you. One time, he even throw a pillow at you for your endless nagging, but he wake up entirely when feeling your murderous gaze. You need to be patient with him, but you can always throw some water to him to speed up the process.

"Them" squad

Leiftan He always wakes up first no matter what you do. He definitely has a biological clock, because he wakes up at the same hour every day. He will never oversleep, but stays in bed a little longer just to cuddle against you and enjoy having you next to him. He would stay all day in bed with you if he could.

Ezarel He definitely has a night routine. He needs to sleep at least eight hours to function well during the day. He hates to wake up early, but he is responsible enough to accomplish it. Sometimes he will let you keep sleeping, but most of the days he is going to wake you up 'accidentally'. If he can't stay in bed, then you can't either. He is evil like that.

Nevra Nevra has an awful sleeping schedule. Mainly because his work and/or 'night activities' keep him up until late. Once he is with you, he takes more care of himself and you drag him to bed if needed it. However, he always wakes up first thanks to his endless responsabilities at H.Q. He is obviously careful to not wake you up and kisses your forehead before leaving the room.

Two years, five months and so many days after the release of Origins's episode 30 and within the last four episodes of ANE... I can finally say,

I headcanon TO Leiftan as demisexual. Also I hc him to care not for his S.O. gender, but the 'soulmate' link between them or, in repleacement, the strong emotional connection demisexual people need in order to feel attracted towards someone.

On screen we never saw Leiftan take any romantic or sexual interest towards anyone else. We don't have an input regarding any former partners and less he mentioned someone to catch up his eyes aside from Erika. All the other guys but Lance would do show any past or 'present' interest into someone during TO. Valkyon proudly shows us his scars during the beach date, for example, telling us some of them were made in bed. Ezarel had his friend with benefits thing with Ewelein, and Nevra... Was not, once a time, Ezarel mad about Nev doing his thing with the girls of absynthe?

It's hinted in TO, both Leiftan and Erika were complementary to each other (Erika and him fighting Marie-Anne for example, dialogues straight tells you this, or the 'Ying-yang' ilu in episode 30), so as long as 'Erika' remains to be his complementary and keeps the precepts he valued the most from her (Modesty, or whatever he said in the SV event of some year, common-good oriented, etc), anything else seems irrelevant. Leiftan would love 'Erika' no matter what.

Ofc, this is a personal take, and i'm sure people in charge didn't think of it at that moment. But hey, if Beemoov tomorrow decided to publish a new episode where Leiftan claims directly at us: 'I'm a straight man and only atracted to WOMEN!', with all my heart I will totally ignore it.

I already like the idea too much. It's late, six years late.

Valkyon headcanons #1

because he's my favorite dragon and nobody can stop me

He's a deep sleeper

His handwriting is beautiful, which could be surprising at first but if you think about it, smithing requires meticulous handwork sometimes so it's logical

Every morning Floppy is the one waking him up (or his s/o)

He's able to make some kind of dragon noises in his human form too, meaning annoyed growls and snorts are long since a part of his nonverbal communication

He only uses curse words in the ancient dragons' language

His belly is extremely sensitive, he only let's his s/o to touch it and always makes satisfied, happy dragon noises whenever they do

Maintaining his human form costs more energy for him than transforming to dragon, his "illness" in Memoria was because of the exhaustion, trying to hide his true self for so long

His normal body temperature is higher than most faeries and humans, it's always around 38-40 C°

He and Lance basically can't "get a cold", they can only get sick because of some kind of negative change in their maana-system

But when he does get sick his temperature will go down instead of up, so if it's around 36 C° , it's like humans having a fever

He smells like a cozy fireplace on a summer evening, you know, something like the smell of heat

He uses the same shampoo as his brother
