its almost unfair how much of a step up morpho knight’s theme is in forgotten land from star allies

#tbh the initial reveal of them was awesome for me but i was sorta put off by their theme. i didnt really like it all that much… too quiet #tbh most of the helper to hero bonus themes were kinda eh to me compared to their original versions. i felt like a lot of them miss #what made the originals so catchy and gripping #wild bc i think star allies popped off with the final gauntlet’s themes. especially void’s #but morpho’s star allies theme feels like a murmur to me. it feels like it cant stand on its own #maybe that was so it wouldnt be a shame replacing it with guest star allies bonus tracks #meanwhile forgotten land absolutely blows it out of the park. the fl leitmotif was exactly what it was missing #echoed voice

When Thomas finally forces himself to go to Minho's stupid little coffee shop, it is simply to scope out the competition. NOT because he wants to see Minho again.

(Teresa tells him to "go get him" and Thomas scoffs like he doesn't know what she's talking about.)

The first thing Thomas thinks is: there is no way in hell anybody enjoys the sickeningly overpowering smell of artificial raspberry pie

The second thought is: Holy shit.

Minho's either wearing Thomas' flower crown, put the crown on the cash register/sat it on something where he can look at it throughout the day, or has taken a fallen flower from the crown and is wearing it in his hair.

Either way, Thomas can't stop staring.

He watches him bustle around, heating up muffins and grinding coffee beans.

When he starts up the espresso machine, a voice tells Thomas that, now, he must leave. He hates the smell of coffee.

He doesn't move a muscle.

doctor mc gives off the impression of someone who’s difficult to approach. but since no one ever tells them that, they think that they’re not particularly interesting which is why people don’t speak to them first

although doctor mc has significantly more morals than some other aus, they’re nowhere close to being an actual “good person”. a lot of things that they let happen (especially after being hired) are to further their own agenda or maintain a relative level of safety for themselves
