I love drawings of Alistair where he’s visibly half-elf, but I can only think of it as an AU, since, considering what Ali’s story line in da:o is, if he was visibly of elven heritage it would DEFINATELY have come up. So, it wouldn’t work in canon.

BUT.

Oh man an au where Alistair looks elven is so much fun to think about.  So he was told his mother was an elven servant right? which adds layers to the idea of a human noble being the one to get her pregnant, and even more emotional nuance to Goldanna’s whole deal.  Isolde’s dislike of him as a child would almost certainly have racial under(over)tones, and him being accepted into the templars would have been highly unusual (perhaps a bribe was involved), and the way his fellow trainees treated him would for SURE support his hatred of the whole affair.  The Grey wardens with their more laissez-faire attitude towards anything not darkspawn related would have been such a relief.

And the LANDSMEET. For me it was always pretty cut and dry that Anora should be on the throne, Alistair had no interest and she was obviously a more effective politician, plus girl power or whatever. She was somewhat of the underdog once Alistair’s name was put in the ring. But if Ali was a known half-elf? That would complicate the HECK out of things. Not only is there more incentive to put him on the throne because imagine an elven ruler of Fereldan and what that could mean, but it would also be harder and involve more work. It would put Ali and Anora on more even footing in the race for the throne. It would just be so cool. 

Aaaaa anyway. sorry. rambling. Point is visibly elven Alistair is a really cool concept and I wish it was in the actual game. thank you and goodnight.

in line with that, he had the first time to actually write lyrics for the band. he's clumsy with it and seeks help to the band members.

he did felt a bit angry? bitter? upset? when conor didn't even say goodbye to the band.

he denies it vehemently but he's definitely a mama's boy. loves his mom a lot. cares about her so much.

(her mom loves him so much too like there's so many pictures of him growing up in their house and the way she's supportive of him doing music)

he learned most of the instruments from his dad but her mom taught her how to play the piano

the red guitar he always uses is either his father's old guitar

his mom sent him off with happy-sad tears to london when conor did land them a record deal

sing street's older brother figure even tho he thinks he's not cut for it. band members would seek to him when they have problems and he'll listen and give advices that seems like uncaring but very well thought out.

The newest member of my Eamon pack is this cute lil 3d printed black wolf i got!

Ive been a collector of BJDS for a long time and i can honestly say this 20$ 3d printed dog has some of the best possibility ive seen in a long time. Sure the joints are tight at some points but thats a given when he is fresh printed and not worn down at all.

Like i have an expensive BJD thats about 500$ (looking at you DC) and it doesnt stand HALF as well as this lil guy. Its wild dude.

ANYWAY, the lil Eamon is going to be my travel buddy because apparently i can't stop bonding to the plushie Eamons and not worry about losing them and stuff. I made sure to get a 3rd print of a widely known/used file so i dont need to worry about him not being re-buyable.

Sort of how i always buy my main Plush Eamon as a Wild Republic Wolf Plush since they are pretty prevalent and easy to come by. As in currently i have 4 of them in different stages of wornout and loved-ness. My desk Eamon who is kinda scrunched because i use him as a head rest, couch Eamon which is weighted, Bed Eamon (the oldest) who is very scrunkly, and my brand new unplayed with Eamon who chills out in my FBAWTFT Newt's Case.

I kind of forgot where i was going with this! But anyway if you have a dog oc get a 3rd printed version.
