Everytime I'm adding tags to a reblog about Sun and Moon I have to be extra-careful at the pre-registered tags I'm clicking on because some of the firsts to come up are "fnaf smut", "moon smut" and "sun smut".

Sunken Lands: A Journey Through Flooded Kingdoms and Lost Worlds by Gareth E. Rees: Book Review
Sunken Lands, the new book by Gareth E. Rees may be one of those that forms a quandary for bookshop staff – just what shelf should it be placed on? For within its pages it covers a wealth of terrain (mostly of the moist or entirely saturated variety). Is it a folklore and legend book? A travel and history book? Psychogeographical philosophy? Natural History/Conservation? Occulture and Mystery?…

We were ROBBED of seeing the Thea Sisters as fairies (go off misleading special edition covers T_T I was gaslighted as a child) so it's making me wanna draw the girls as fairies? Winx-ify them, I guess
Yeah we were -m- in terms of "clickbaity" book covers, the Thea Stilton special editions are definitely the OGs in that regard
I still love them tho <3
One thing about it is that the covers do a good job at giving the vibes ✨of their respective books. At least uh, books 1-4, 6, and 7's covers, anyway. I'm personally not a fan of book 5, 8 and 9's covers -m- (for those keeping score, books 5, 8, and 9 are Treasure of the Sea, Dance of the Star Fairies, and Magic of the Mirror. Crystal Fairies' cover is regrettably one of the better newer covers). ANYWAY, if the books's covers did a good job at one thing, it was conveying the fantastical whimsy of the books. They definitely got me hooked on them despite their aesthetic being the opposite of what I usually gravitate towards haha, Secret of the Snow's cover is still one of my favorite covers to this day
Also feel free to draw them if you want to bestie, I am very curious to see your take on them as fairies :0
