I have so much to say about the new DST animation OH MY GIDODOD

(Im rusty at text posts as I haven't done any for a while, so don’t bully me for my bad explanations)

The main things worth mentioning are Wilsons house being Wagstaff's old home, the MULTIPLE Woodrow references, the fact that Wagstaff is confirmed to be out of the constant, and what this means for the future of DST!!

Topic 1 So Wagstaff is building a portal to get out of the constant..? Or to get in it himself? I have so many questions!!

Im guessing that Wagstaff turned Wilsons original portal into a view into the constant, (possibly making it so he is able to use his hologram in the first place) as we can see he has changed it from Maxwell’s original design.

This raises questions of what year Wagstaff is in, is it still around the 1920’s or is he in a completely different century right now? He also FULLY changed the walls of the room to metal, (originally only two of the walls were metal, as we can see in Wilson’s flashback) and switched around Wilson’s decorating, so he obviously has been here awhile. Plus the house has cobwebs all over. Then we go back to the question of what is he trying to achieve with his holograms? And were his inventions the key to getting into the constant? He is a prominent figure in Don’t Starve’s lore and his inventions are too.

Topic 2

We see a skeleton, presumably Woodrow’s (WX-78’s) under Wagstaff's old floorboards.

The fact that the body is completely decomposed hints towards the fact that it has been a while after their death, which happened before/around 1919 (When Winona and Wagstaff were taken into the constant) Wilson gets taken into the constant in 1921, so it was around a three year period since Woodrows death. There is some objects around their body such as plaid fabric, a book, and what looks to be either a belt buckle or a button.

Wilson opens a box full of stuff, and if you look in the bottom right corner you can see a prototype WX-78 head, with the what looks like the word “Wood” written on the compass looking thing. Presuming that this is a box of Woodrow’s old stuff, we also have what looks like a record in packaging with the letters Di on it, a magnet, gears, papers, a spyglass looking thing (which may or may not be their glasses), and a folder with the words “Vol. III” on it.

Other things worth noting in this animation

The paper Wilson was holding, an Auction for houses, the only thing I can read is the words “Auction” and “Scientific” but if anybody is able to make out anything else let me know.

Vinyl records, possibly of Wigfrid’s songs, though thats just a guess.

This is a stretch, but the driver of the car that Wilson took, looks similar to Wolfgang, possibly a relative?

Thats all I have to say for know, I hope to see some other people analyzing the animation!!

I just finished Andor and honestly THAT WAS SO GOOD WTF?!?? The last episode is just fucking amazing and I can’t wait for season 2. (but also fuck yeah!!! Continue with the writers strike!!)

I love that they saved Bix, Wilmon (the bomber guy who lost his dad), Brasso, and B2EMO cause I honestly expected them all to die.

Honestlly its fucking amazing like they literally made Star Wars into a fucking heist movie?!! Also this show had no Jedi (or even mentions of Jedi, at least I think?) and was still fucking amazing and felt like it was Star Wars related

Playing TWDG for the first time, I am on season one and I have just passed the part where Ben fell off the room and got impaled and thats all I can think about bro 😭

I know most people hate Ben because he is cowardly and makes stupid decisions but apparently since I love supporting characters everyone hates he is now one of my favorite season one characters. I just feel so bad that he had to die like **that**, the game literally makes him more likable right before it happens as it A: reveals he is suicidal and B: shows him standing up to Kenny. And then it just KILLS HIM OFF!! :(

Maybe i’ll type a long ass post about how Ben isn’t all that bad (leaving Clem behind that one time isn’t really all that forgivable, but the rest were all accidents/mistakes that he felt deep regret for) and then i’ll get Ben haters spamming me in the replies or something, idk.

Willow being a witch/based off witches is pretty cool, it makes sense because when she gets low sanity in the game, a fire lights at her feet. (A fire that was not created using her lighter and was created out of thin air by Willow herself) And in Willows rework animation when she is trapped in the closet with the shadow creature she accidentally lights the place up in fucking flames, before she ever even got her lighter.

Approximately when some of the DST characters were born

(Reminder this is all speculation!! And since we don’t have an age range for some of the characters, I will have to guesstimate*)

(OKAY SO… This has been in my drafts for a year-ish.. I planned to do more characters but lost my motivation, and now I am finally posting it)

Wilson: Born sometime around 1887-1891 on April 23. Probably born in Europe and possibly immigrated to America some time before he was taken.

He has been stated to be in his early 30’s in a Klei facebook message/post (I dont really know how to describe it) on June 17, 2014

Wilson was also canonically taken into the constant in the year 1921. This is stated in a rough timeline made by Klei developer Kevin Forbes on September 25, 2014. He is in his early 30’s (30-34) and taken in 1921, 1921 minus 34 is 1887 and 1921 minus 30 is 1891 so he was born around those years. It isn’t really set in stone if he is European or not, but it is sorta hinted to. On January 7, 2014 in a Facebook conversation it is stated that he is “roughly designed as a European, maybe a European USA Immigrant”

Willow: Possibly born around 1887-1891 on May 7. She was orphaned at a young age and then sent to an orphanage, then she burnt it down.

This was a lot harder to figure out, and with new lore always coming this birth year speculation may be proven wrong. As seen above in the first image Willow is in her early 20’s. (Also, Willow was first said to be in her Late teens, and then later said to be in Early 20’s. Personally I take the early 20’s to be more canon as it was said at a more recent time than the first age.) There is no set in stone time for when she was taken. With the knowledge of the date Wickerbottom was taken (March 29, 1911, said in the timeline I linked above ^^) we can assume she was taken sometime between 1911-1921 (1921 is when Maxwell takes in Wilson, presumably his last victim) She was probably taken not to long after Wickerbottom was taken because Willow in the constant looks the same as Willow in Wickerbottoms animation. 1911 minus 20 is 1891 and 1911 minus 24 is 1887.

Wendy: Born November 11, 1903.

I got this birth year from the timeline and it is also stated in Wendy's Dont Starve wiki page The reason the year chosen is 1903 is because “Wendy is stated to be between 8 and 10 years old. This range can be narrowed down by examining various dates from the William Carter puzzles and the image of her nightstand. Jack's letter in the third William Carter puzzle, which mentions the twins, must have been written no later than the August 1904 dates from the fourth puzzle. This means that Wendy and Abigail were born no later than August 1904. Additionally, Wendy's diary entry, which was likely written before she entered the Constant, has a date of April 16, 1914. Since Wendy's birthday is in November, her only possible date of birth is November 11, 1903.” This text is taken from the wiki linked above. ^^ If we take her diary entry and her birth year and do some math, we can figure out that Wendy is 10 years old and 5 months when she was taken into the constant.

AHSOKA SPOILERS BELOW!!

Just watched the first two episodes of the Ahsoka series, I don’t have any really big negative thoughts yet, though i’m sure some people do lmfaoo. I love that they gave her a Loth-cat as a pet, we didn’t ask for it but we needed it tbh. I also love Sabines painted nails and her painted bike/speeder thing.

Ezra saying that Sabine was like a sister to him in the recording surprised me as I expected them to take a Sabezra route but I enjoyed it, EZRA & SABINE SIBLING DUO FOR LIFE!! 🙏🙏

Apparently Ryder Azadi and Jai Kell made an appearance but it completely went over my head, if it was animated I would have probably recognized them though. Anyways I am so happy with how they did Chopper, he still acts the same lmao.

I like the blonde girl’s Padawan Braid, but i’m not sure what I think about her yet. I wish she would speak a little bit more. And those orange lightsabers were a bit different. (I originally thought they were red, until corrected by my father) Half of me feels like they made them orange to sell more toys,, or maybe just because they wanted to do something different. Im not here to judge (at least not too much)

Still not sure what to think about force sensitive Sabine. Is she force sensitive or just a lightsaber user?? I know they mentioned that she wasn’t that strong in the force. And if she is force sensitive then why couldn't Kanan tell? (Or maybe he could but she didn’t want to be trained or something? I hope they talk about her being a jedi a bit more.) AND I HOPE THEY MENTION KANAN!! (And give us a Jacen, Zeb, Kallus, and hell even an AP-5 cameo!!)

I am new to the Sims 4, and started playing it the other day. I am now addicted and made a sim who's whole goal was to make an alien army by getting with the men townies, add them to her family, get them impregnated by an alien, and then boot them out and keep their alien babies. But I DID NOT KNOW that aliens WERE NOT in base game Sims 4. Fuck my life
